25 miles out, away from the altercation a turquoise-colored rift in space would open up and out would launch the black armored teen swordsman Thunder. His feet touched the sand and he immediately became destabilized in his stature. He adjusted for the sand and was able to somewhat stand up right.
"The signal's coming from that direction...a whole 25 miles out." Thunder sighed, "It's never easy is it? The sand here is too deep, alt mode's not an option. Well might as well try this new feature."
He would jump in the air only slightly, then right before he hit the ground, small jets at the bottom of his feet ignited and kept him hovering only a few inches off the ground. He couldn't fly, but thanks to all the thrusters built in, he could hover and move over rough surfaces. Two small thrusters in his waist popped out and they joined his back, and the thrusters built into the back of his legs and ignited, and launched forward. He'd be moving just as fast as he would be running, but without the risk of sand clogging his joints and making it harder to move.
"I have to get one of those Decepticons...and make him tell me where Backbeat is." Thunder spoke to himself.

(OOC: This post is a merger between Wheelspin and me. The separation between parts is to show who was writing and make it easier to understand.)
Where Annihilator had been the first to respond to the distress signal of the Kalahari expedition, he was not the only Decepticon to do so. Infact it had only been due to his almost immediate response, that left him unaware of the enemies numbers and identities, that stopped him from being joined by others. Instead the reinforcements had held back, allowing the first wave to join Annihilator and test the enemies strength before committing themselves to the battle with the information gained reviewing the footage.
It was as a result that when a new groundbridge opened up within the Decepticon bunker that it did so not randomly, but instead directly behind the Autobot Wheelspin as Decepticon forces started charging out. The first of which who where two vehicons, though unlike their lesser breatheren these two where heavily armoured, a tank turret on their back revealing their alternative mode as they aimed large plasma cannons formed of both servos at the Maximus Sparkflare and fired. Behind them steeped out Harbinger, the mech who stood at 37ft already with his Plasama Accumulator Cannon that took up most of his right arm raised as the weapons massive barrel burned a fatal purple before it pulsed, hurtling outwards towards Wheelspin's backplating with deadly intent. Behind him even more of the elite shocktroopers strode out their weapons raised and ready to fire as three found themselves targeting Whitewash, her lethal showing having highlighted her as a target for immediate extermination even as the groundbridge closed behind them.
---
Moments before the newcomers arrival, Wheelspin stared at the substance that was oozing over his null ray which refused to come off even as he jerked his arm this way and that. It was starting to harden although he found very quickly that it could still bind itself to other materials and have them stick. With some sand making the surface rather rough, it was bits and pieces from the damaged container that eagerly stuck to the glue. Temporarily distracted by this WheelSpin's attention was less on the Decepticon who was being attacked by at least two and more on his weapon malfunction.
He was mid turn when the groundbridge opened near his location. It was far too close for comfort. The 37 feet tall Decepticon certainly cast an impressive shadow. As WheelSpin's instinct was to dive off to the side as far as his feet could push him in one go. He'd seen a glimpse of the weapon and that was enough for him to believe his survival would be questionable should it lock onto him.
"More of them!" He yelled in warning even as the blast would take away a good portion of the crates at the very spot he'd stood before. Would his light trick work this time? He averted his gaze towards Harbringer to see whether anything would stand in the way of his headlights, their blinding light and the enemy's optics.
---
The impact of the projectile meeting the crates was nothing short of devastating as the metal container that had been used as cover for small weapon fire practically imploded, sending shrapnel out in all directions even as the heat of the explosion caused most of the fragments to burn a ferocious orange. Even Harbinger wasn't untouched from the aftermath of his weapons firing as tiny fragments clashed against his steel grey frame, causing minuscule fragments in his hardened plating even as his head turned slowly to trace the movements of his target. With his first strike wasted the mech was already taking into consideration other forms of attack as his left servo began transforming, a heavy weapon forming on the outside of his left forearm before it extended downwards forming the casing of his 80mm Repeater Cannon.
Before it could unleash a barrage of unforgiving firepower however, Wheelspin's headlights flashed in a blinding glare for unprotected optics. It was however an attack wasted for Harbinger one of the few mechs who's optics had the same modifications as a high-tech visor as the moment the lighting changed his optics reacted to the unorthodox manoeuvre by dampening the light. Leaving the mech unharmed even as his 80mm cannon unleashed a stream of lead in sync with the thunderous crack of over ten shots in as many seconds. Each of which held a explosive shell that flew towards Wheelspin's upper torso and neck.
---
WheelSpin's armour had shrapnel stuck in some places, smaller pieces giving the much smaller bot an appearance of a wannabe porcupine. He hadn't waited to see whether the aim of his opponent would be in any way affected by the light. It was one thing to attempt to blind him, and another entirely to dawdle about in the spot he'd done it from. It would have been foolish for him to do it too, defeating the purpose of taking someone's sight away and then not going anywhere. Even while he tried to twist out of the way again, both arms came up, one to cover his torso with the door and the reinforced glass turned in the direction of the Decepticon, the other to offer protection a bit higher, to keep his helm and neck secure. When he landed on the ground he kept on sliding across the sand for a little while longer. He rolled to the side then an ducked down behind the crates to asses his damage.
The glue was nearly hardened, which hopefully meant it could be shattered. Damage could be visible where the shots hit, the door and glass that were in front of the second, of course had been damaged worse. He could groan in annoyance at the fact he would need fresh repairs again. The servo on his arm, that had not been 'glued into its form was replaced by first by the roadspike gun. He fired over the crate, aiming to hit the seams between plates, or any of the sensitive areas close to the Decepticon's neck, preferably that too. He would just as quickly duck back down, switch his load from roadspikes to acid pellets and fire again, this time his aim was head first and then the joints.
---
In his head, Harbinger would admit the damage done by his explosive rounds where a little underwhelming as his opponent was able to manoeuvre behind cover. It was neither the time to stop and reflect or allow his anger to grow however as instead the mech began to calmly assess the situation. His optics, already guarded from a number of forms of attacks confidently glanced over the room, quickly cataloguing that both him and Wheelspin where further back in the cavern with the other mech's cover being only a few meters in front of the elevator shaft to the lower level. Before he could figure exactly how to put to use the surrounding environment however the mech found his enemy attempting to peek out of cover with a weapon raised, the moments warning giving him enough time to pivot with his left foot, will his right spun backwards causing him to be turned sideways even as the railspike struck forward. Where in another time it may have found a gap in his plating and lead to severe damage instead it grazed his forward shoulder before ricocheting harmlessly into the ground.
The strike was enough however to stop him from retaliating immediately as his arm buckled under the force, causing him to hold off retaliating fire with the heavy repeater cannon. As a moment later he was rewarded for his patience with Wheelspin appearing again, this time to find himself face to face with the repeater cannon as it fired off a precise burst that met with the acid causing chemical explosions as opposing projectiles met mid air. In turn leaving the battlefield pockered with hissing marks and dangerous shrapnel.
Harbinger though wouldn't be entertained by simply allowing his enemy to continue such a stalemate. Instead of continuing the senseless clash the mech raised the stakes as from his left shoulderplate a new weapon to began to form, in moments becoming the form of an SMXCM - 24 Chaingun, a formidable weapon capable of firing a torrential flood of 40mm shells at near to 1000 rounds per minute. In most cases the weapon would be overkill guided perfectly resulting in a similar aftermath as the shredding precision of a chainsaw at melee range. In this occasion though Harbinger had hampered the weapon somewhat with it's positioning only allowing it to point at one side of the crate. Already though the mech was turning, moving to face the enemy and allow the chaingun a full unhindered grasp of the enemy where it would rip through any cover on it's way.
---
The shrapnel left hissing holes in the surfaces it sunk into, whether it was the crates, the walls, or something more alive. WheelSpin cursed as one got jammed part way in his left roof wing. He slid down trying to ignore the pain caused by the acid eating away at the edges of the hole the piece had made. He peered over the crates to see the next weapon brought to their duel. The glue on his null ray had finally hardened. The first shots began to pummel and literally rip the crates infront of him apart. Somewhat undignified, but never the less keeping himself out of view of the much taller bot, the car frame crawled from his hiding spot along the line of crates still concealing him on that side, to the next, about four or five undamaged crates away. He pried his digits behind the hardened glue and yanked roughly at it. He glanced up to see how far along the machine gun was. Well, those crates were .....obliterated. He yanked again. It was on the first try that the hardened shell showed signs of cracking along one edge. It was coming loose. WS had to shift again, just to keep himself from becoming a good interpretation of Swiss cheese. He glanced over his shoulder towards the elevator shaft. It was the only direction he could retreat to. If he was lucky what lay beneath the shaft was much narrower and would hinder the much bigger Decepticon in his fighting. With a final jerk the glue was off.
The very next moment he was in his alt form, almost regretting his decision to transform too. His frame was battered enough for the transformation to not be as seamless. His tyres skidded against the somewhat more solid ground kicking up a generous amount of dust, making visibility drop drastically in the immediate area surrounding them and then released the breaks so that he would be forced forward by the power of his spinning tyres. It would be off to the side and further away from the Decepticon first, then he spun around. He transformed again. He had the general idea of where Harbringer was, and aimed his nullray in that direction firing three shots. He hoped to hit something vital or at least something that had a gun on it.
---
In the face of devastation the Decepticon looked on stoically even as his weapon ripped all the cover in his way to shreds leaving only ruins. It was as such only through skill and luck that the Autobot was able to escape, his rapid movement forcing the ex-commander to constantly adjust his weapon as he tried to predict the enemies speed only to fail on more than one occasion. Everytime though his bullets came dangerous close with Wheelspin only millimetres from being disabled and then ruthlessly exterminated. As such the Decepticon was rightfully caught off guard with the sudden transition from attack to defence, as a trio of null ray bolts headed his way.
The first of which narrowly missed, the sudden change that caught him off guard not giving proper time to accurately take the shot, only to be followed by a second which hit off his SMXCM - 24 Chaingun which was still firing. In a blink of an eye the weapons damage became clear as the chambering system haltered, causing the strip loaded ammunition to slam recklessly into an unresponsive mechanism before tearing in a horrible jamming sound. Even as this occurred the third bolt headed towards it's target, an almost perfect shot lining up with the mech's processor only to come into contact with a overshield that flared a near blinding purple of processed energon. Then just as quickly as it appeared the light died down revealing the figure from which it came from.
In the aftermath of the attack Harbinger stepped forward his armoured face showing no emotion even as his blazing optics proclaimed an intent to rip and maim the Autobot in front of him till the bot screamed for mercy. Now what ever enjoyment he had in the fight was over as his chaingun's belt ejected, the metallic ding echoing in the silence before Harbinger raised his Plasma Accumulator Cannon, it's barrels internal flame burning a sadistic palatine before it was unleashed. An unholy blast that would have rivalled even the infamous fusion cannon as it darted forward the air around it evaporating in a painful blood curdling scream. All the while it continued onwards to Wheelspin.
---
When the weapon jammed, WheelSpin felt a sort of thrill. He found himself grinning broadly. His engine even roared in triumph, the deep, rumble building up momentum. The excitement was short lived however as the last shot did not bring Harbringer to his knees or have him rendered a motionless heap of metal, but rather failed to make any impact at all.
He'd already started moving by then though, of course. While running he fired his road spike gun at his target, a salvo of shots to answer the jamming of the weapon, aimed - with better visibility - again at the upper body, and at seams and any exposed joint in the upper body. He'd just transformed back to is alt form to speed off, when the cannon was fired. He wasn't in the direct line of fire and was more than fortunate that it was so. Had he been, it would probably have been his final stand before his spark would have been snuffed out and his body could be displayed in the gallery of modern art as the 'melted piece'. Never the less he could not fully escape it either. Away from the centre, the plasma damage mostly reached the rear of his alt form, tearing away at the wings (what some call the spoilers anyway), twisting the metal and causing the paint to be melted into the armour. He felt the force of the blast grip his frame, lift it up, flip it in the direction where the shot was going, flip him in mid air again ending with a nearly torn off 'spoiler' and slamming him against the wall of where a elevator could have been, had it not been at the lower levels.
The glass of the lights at the back was shattered while the car suddenly disappeared down the shaft. He forced a transformation somewhere mid fall, trying to grip for anything that could help slow his descend or stop it. The cabling belonging to the elevator proving themselves to be the best if not the only option. Just a bit more force and he would have been stuck in his alt form till the damage to his frame was repaired. He finally came to a stop, still above he elevator, looking up. He adjusted his grip on the cabling, so that his gun arm was free and aimed it towards the top end of the shaft ready to fire as soon as Harbringer decided to look in (if he did). His weapon now the nullray again.
---
Harbinger never did look however, the appearance of his enemy falling down the shaft was enough for him as he turned around, the barrel of his PAC cannon smoking as cold optics gazed over the entire room before locking on Annihalator. "I apologise for my tardiness. Now..." he raised his 80mm Repeater Cannon towards Hydraxion. "...may we finish with this rabble?"

Annihilator's slow retreat deeper into the cave was interrupted when Vating shoulder-tapped him. Tapping him on the side was ineffective, hardly making him budge given his footing, but once Vating anchored himself down Annihilator had to stop and steady himself for what was coming. He expected a physical attack, but when it turned into an attempt at grappling, red flags went up- he'd refuse to let himself be put in a more vulnerable position than a simple gap in numbers. When Vating outstretched his arms to attempt grabbing Annihilator's leg, Annihilator responded by positioning his arm above his opponents, blasting them away from him with his concussive cannon so that they'd fling back to Vating's body. Then he avoided any further attempts to grapple by leaping backward, closer toward the wall behind him. Soon after, he found himself being pinned by the Predacon. The impact was hard, but his armor held up well where the large enemy had struck, as well as on his back where it slammed into solid rock. Rubble and debris showered over his form, and his feet dug deeper into the sand-covered stone floor.
Then, reinforcements arrived. Through groundbridges, Annihilator could feel himself loosen up already at the relief he'd gain from the increased numbers. Vehicons of various types, as well as a bulkier looking Decepticon soldier, emerged to immediately begin laying fire on their opponents.
Before the battle commenced, a fight involving Wheelspin triggered another flash- one he couldn't avoid with his back to the cave wall and his face exposed to the whole of the cavern interior. Momentarily blinded, Annihilator reactivated the pair of eyes he'd kept on reserve; it seemed his forward thinking had paid off. He would be able to respond without interference, his sight restored near instantaneously. When it did, Wheelspin was nowhere in sight, and with his null-ray negated, seemed to be out of the equation. With most of the remaining enemies presumably distracted by the genericons, Annihilator's attention could be fully put on the two opponents in front of him; Hydraxion, and Vating. The two largest of the opponents- perhaps the most dangerous- and the ones Annihilator was best equipped to handle.
"Apology acknowledged," he answered Harbinger dryly. "These two have posed the greatest threat thus far."
The smaller pair of arms both reached to grab one of Hydraxion's arms while his larger arm reached to grab the other, holding him steady. The attempt to grapple was three-fold, as the Predacon would soon find out: one, it was to keep him front and center, preventing Vating from getting in anymore attacks. Two, it would give Harbinger the chance he needed to fire upon the Predacon. And three- as Annihilator's glue guns emerged yet again from his shoulders and hips- it would hopefully keep him steady so Annihilator himself would have a better chance of hitting his intended target.
"Fire when ready," he conveyed to his newly arrived partner. "The blue one is immobile, but do not ignore him." Then, all four of his glue guns fired upon Hydraxion, aimed for the Predacon's shoulders and hips. If he'd succeeded to grab the mech's arms, there'd be no way for him to avoid the glue- and even if he hadn't, it would be difficult at such close range for him to avoid all of them from connecting.

Hydraxion would be stuck in the grapple but, do his job and slam the mech into a wall. He would be hit with the glue but, now with the con stick to him. He'd be annoyed as the fire on his head flared.

As the battle raged on, Thunder was getting closer to the battleground itself. He kept lowly gliding at incredible speeds, kicking up a far amount of dust behind as he approached his destination. Crossing 16 miles in only a few minutes. He didn't want to burn his fuel up so he kept it at low-enough output.
His radar picked up multiple energy signals. It looked like the situation had drastically changed within the couple minutes he was traversing the desert. There were a few more Decepticons lifesigns including what appeared to be a big one, as an Autobot signal vanished.
"This just went from getting ShadowZone off my tail to a rescue mission." Thunder increased the output some, going a bit faster. He'd be there in minutes at this rate, "That's fine. I've needed some asses to kick!"

Vating watched as Wheelspin fell down the shaft, letting out a sigh.
"He'll be fine..."
With that, he turned to the new foe. He gave one glance to Hydraxion, with a smirk.
"If we get out of this, you're officially my second favorite teammate and I'll welcome you with open arms."
He then charged forward at Harbinger, aiming get close and latch onto him. If that is successful, he'd have the perfect opportunity to aim a stab right in the Con's side. He felt the glue hardening, which was getting on his nerves a little and slowing down his already fairly slow movements.

"Three of you? Seriously? Don't you have better things to do with your time?" Whitewash scowled. The irony was that her training would afford her the ability to take down all of those creeps if there wasn't such a risk of blowing cover, "Sure, I get I'm an Autobot but aren't there other-"
Mid-sentence she turned and dodged away from them, heading back towards Hydraxion, Vating and Sparkflare under cover of crates.

Sparkflare had now found a new posistion from which to snipe from after his last shot. The mech looked down the scope. He would've taken out a second vehicon if they weren't already dead. This didn't bother the Maximus much. He just moved his sights to point at Anniliator's helm. Usually one shot would do the trick, but there have been cases were one bullet was not even enough. His finger rest on the trigger gently, ready to apply pressure onto it to fire a shot. However, a distraction occured, it was Shadowzone sending a message that Thunder was on his way. Sparkflare got rid of the message. He didn't care. The mech took aim at Annilator a second time. Then another message from Shadowzone popped up, informing Sparkflare that there was a Decepticon in Poland. What the hell did Shadowzone want Sparkflare to do with a 'Con more than 100 miles away?
Sparkflare swore as he put Shadowzone on a blacklist, blocking all comms from the soldier. Sparkflare didn't want to be distracted a third time. Sparkflare took aim once again. Hopefully, third time will be the charm. But no. Sparkflare soon found himself being fired upon by two heavily armoured Vehicons. Sparkflare rolled back down the dune as he threw away the sniper rifle and brought out his back mounted plasma cannons and readied his arm blasters before running back up the dune to fire at the heavily armoured Vehicons. While firing, the mech managed to catch a glimpse of Wheelspin falling down into the lower levels of the cave. Someone had to go and make sure he was okay. Sparkflare sighed as he transformed into his vehicle mode and drove his way to the entrance of the cave, whether he killed the two vehicons or not did not matter to him. An Autobot was in danger, that took prioirty. His journey driving through the sand was a fairly easy task to fufil. Unlike the other Autobots, Sparkflare's alt form was Cybertronian, he still had the ability to hover off from the ground, friction was not a problem.
Sparkflare made his way past many figures, such as Vating, Hydraxion and etc. as he reached the cave. He didn't stop for anything and it was very unlikely that he would allow something to stop him. The elevator shaft was up ahead. Sparkflare transformed back into robot mode and made one final sprint to the shaft. If anyone tried to get in the way, Sparkflare would either push them aside or evade them. Upon reaching the shaft, Sparkflare did not hesistate to jump down into the dark vertical tunnel.

Influx curled up, trying to become smaller as if that alone would allow him to receive less damage. The alarms were still going off in the shuttle as the countdown for the crash started.
He had tried to land safely, but the fuel was out and the shuttle's system weren't responding at all. It was already a pretty old shuttle, but to think it would endanger his life like this... maybe he should send Neurodome a message in case he died in the crash. To tell the young mech they could keep his needle collection.
ALERT, 10 SECONDS UNTIL CRASH
It would only worry him, though. He shouldn't, he had crash landed like this before. He wasn't going to die, he had this emergency micro shuttle. It was old, but if it managed to save lives before his, why wouldn't his be spared?.
ALERT, 6 SECONDS UNTIL CRASH
Oh Primus, if you're there, if you really are there please, please...
ALERT, 5 SECONDS UNTIL CRASH
Please spare my spark!, I haven't achieved my goals in life!
ALERT, 4 SECONDS UNTIL CRASH
Please, Primus... please, please.
ALERT, 3 SECONDS UNTIL CRASH
That was it, Influx was panicking as he silently waited for the crash to actually happen...
-0-
From Earth's surface, what had seemed to be an inoffensive shooting star had turned out to be a quickly approaching shuttle with apparently no one pilot, burning in the atmosphere.
It had no recognisable insignia, nor Autobot nor Decepticon. It's size wasn't big either, and it crashed with the horribly loud noise a crash landing shuttle would make, being completely broken in the process.
If you approached it, you'd find Influx had passed out inside the emergency pod, which was also broken, leaving the poor neutral mech on the sand. He had no recognisable injuries besides a few cuts and on obvious severe concussion that had made him go offline.

A red and white rotary is covering the sky. It has a symbol, but the symbol is in yellow and at a distance impossible to define.
She sees the shuttle coming down in the desert with nobody else in sight, and lands gracefully, transforming.
Breech Loader has a wide back, wide hips, and armour that is most familiar to mechs who frequent clubs with floor-to-ceiling poles installed. Unfortunately for anybody making assumptions, there are guns installed on her arms and the four rotors hanging off her back are all razor sharp - and used. They are also one of the best ways to assess her mood, since most of her face is hidden by her visor. Both the glass on her decor and her visor are a smoky yellow, hiding everything behind it.
"Rough landing, huh?" she asks the unconscious mech. No symbol, although when it comes to neutrals it means different things. She starts rifling through his arsenal for clues, or possibly things to pickpocket. Flash gun, ice blaster... Grenades of various uses. Not a conscientious objector then. She pokes something and on a reflex action the needles on his fingers slide out, then back in again, "Well, that looks interesting..."
She pulls the guy further away from his shuttle, which is now on fire.
"Hey, knock knock, buddy..." Breech bends over the young mech and knocks on his head, her rotors fanning out slightly like a peacock's tail, "Hey, you gonna wake up and tell me your real name, or do I have to pay ya? I'm a merc, not a frikkin' charity."

( OOC post- to be deleted upon acknowledgement: Backbeat The RPers in this thread have an established post order made in the Discord group chat they'd like everyone to follow. Loosely, the order is Autobots/Neutrals/Decepticons. Here's the established order by name of character: WheelSpin, Hydraxion, Vating, Whitewash, and Thunder, Influx and Breech Loader, and finally Harbinger, Annihilator, and Backbeat. (All late arrivals weren't discussed in the initially discussed post order, and have been added to the end of their segments in the order accordingly.) We'd recommend deleting your second post (after copying it and saving it somewhere, if you prefer), skipping your place in the turn order this round, and resume posting next round along with the other Decepticons. ) (( And I would recommend posting an order on the front page or something. ))

Post by Harbinger on Apr 24, 2017 22:55:34 GMT
The 80mm cannon barrel attached to Harbinger's arm shook momentarily with the momentum of three thunderous shots, each of them headed towards the trapped form of Hydraxion and the flaring target that was his head. As the barrel, still smoking from it's use, was lowered Harbinger's other arm was beginning to shift replacing the form of the overheated PAC. While his helm turned towards the next enemy in the form of Vating who was nearing closer by the second. With his already slow and heavy form further hindered by the glue attached to his frame however Vating's charge was much too slow to continue unhindered as Harbinger's right arm finished it's transformation.
Where once the intimidating Plasma Accumulator Cannon had laid upon the armoured limb instead an entirely new form took it's place, starting it's transformation at his elbow. Harbinger's weapon looked almost basic the closer to the joint it was as shortly after it's origin a massive ammunition box made up the central casing, it's form a bulky mass that looked visually ruff and simple but hardly mattered when it was designed for function. The same function which allowed the weapon to carry hundreds of large shards of molten metal which when fired through the weapon ripped through armour like tissue paper. All this though was largely ignored in the face of the three long cylinders of a sparkling steel grey which formed the barrels of the lethal weapon. A fully automatic shotgun called the Triple Barrel Mauler in part for it's victims resemblance to a sparkeater's prey.
Which at this very moment found each of it's primed cylinders aimed at a very exposed Vating, and then in less than a blink of an eye the weapon fired. Dozens upon dozens of tiny pellets unleashing in time with the screeching howl of a bloodthirsty reaper.
Around him the vehicons originally deployed with him where waging their own battles. As those with Whitewash as their target continued a relentless pursuit with a near constant stream of ammunition only hesitating in the transition between one reloading while the others fired. Each of their shots carrying enough force to easily penetrate the cover of the crates with their heavy weapons, eventually sooner rather than later they'd score a noteworthy hit, and would continue to do so until either they or their enemy was dead.
In contrast the duo that had entered first, firing on the Autobot Maximus had soon dropped the pursuit of their original focus when he escaped through the elevator, and instead found themselves quickly changing to target Hydraxion. Like wolves they attacked joining Harbinger and Annihilator's assault on Hydraxion. Their deadly cannons firing with a practised precision as they tried to catch the mech's left side.

He would have watched as the Vehicon reinforcements came to his aid if it hadn't been for Hydraxion in his face; the shock in his eyes showed he wasn't expecting to get stuck to his opponent. If he were the chatty type, he might have remarked that this hadn't happened before. Things grew more concerning as an unmistakable heat began to emanate from the Predacon's face. Annihilator may not have been intimately familiar with fighting the more beastly Cybertronians, but heat was so rarely a good sign- never, if coming from the opponent. His reaction was quick.
With his size advantage, his much broader shoulders meant that his arms weren't caught in the glue that attached the two by Hydraxion's shoulders. He had free range of motion- with his right arm, of course. His left arm's numbness was slowly fading, however; he could feel it slowly returning to him. Not nearly enough for him to move it, but its return to function would be soon enough that he recognized it was coming. Before that, the matter at hand. In his knee-jerk reaction to shield himself from whatever incoming attack the Predacon had in store for him, his right arm rose, jamming itself forcefully between the two bot's faces, hand trying to grab at Hydraxion's jaw in order to shove his face away.
Simultaneously, armor was shifting in any unobstructed area that weapons could be found. Armor moved aside in his knees to reveal the pair of artillery cannons hidden within; they immediately fired, once each side, at Hydraxion's legs; the same shrapnel rounds he'd utilized the entire battle thus far. Behind him, pressed up against the cavern wall, Annihilator's primary cannon shifted out of thick back plating to begin charging. Already, the barrel was peaking over his shoulder, a foreboding sight at such close range.

The jeep nears the cave entrance. Warping the rest of the way to avoid the battle raging around the caves. Before he enters the cave, he turns his attention to the battle. Firing two bursts of his barrage cannon at Whitewash and the incoming Thunder.
' There will be plenty of time to explore the city later... First, I have an infestation to deal with... '
Two large missiles arc in the air before six smaller missile splitting off from the main body of each larger missile, all heading towards the two Autobots. Backbeat walks towards the battle, pulling two energy pistol from side holsters and opening fire on the two Autobots he had already targeted.

Under all of the fire he would roar in pain and fire would explode from his body at a last ditch effort. Freeing himself from the glue and causing severe burns to those nearby. Seizing the moment of his freedom Hydraxion would leap towards Harbinger. He would feel a sharp pain in his left leg.

Thunder was now in the line of sight for the cave entrance. And what a mess it was, but what caught his optic on his way was a jeep and how it transformed into a robot mode. Of course it wouldn't be friendly, that'd be his luck. Alas he was proven right by firing a missile that split into three smaller tracker missiles. He raised his forearms and started firing some explosive shells at the rockets. He missed. Slag accuracy and all.
Seeing them get closer he thought quick, swerving from side to side while speed-hovering, allowing one missile to crash and explode behind. The other two were coming in a matter of seconds. His sword handles went from sticking slightly outwards from his built-in back sheaths to sticking straight up. Thunder reached back and grabbed them. His optics narrowed. As Backbeat expected the missiles to strike, there was only one explosion as a fair amount of dust was kicked up. One missile would go spiraling off to the side then exploding.
When the laser shots would tear through the smoke of where the Autobot would be, there was just more dust and sand kicked up. It didn't take long for Backbeat to most likely notice the mech coming from the side. Thanks to his right sword glowing bright blue, when before it was a normal blade. Running, this time, and with one sword ready to slash his arm clean off. Or most likely, take off the barrels of one of his pistols.
"That's no way to say hi!" He snarked as he came at him quickly.

Vating had just enough time to raise his shield and cover most of his body from the barrage of ammunition coming his way. He literally could not do anything while this was going on and was thanking Primus as his shield was holding, though in due time, his entire body got glued together. He held there, holding himself alive by a shield.
It wasn't until Hydraxion leaping at Harbinger that he would have the time to break the glue. He spent those few seconds well, easily ripping the glue apart with his immense strength. The glue had torn as if it were but a paper wrapping and needed little effort due to his sheer strength. He turned to Annihilator and fired all six missile pods at him with the intention of multiple heavy blows to even out the battle a little. Next he would raise his shield and his photon burst rifle and start firing bursts at this foe who was clearly pulling all these different tricks out of the book. The bursts were primarily aimed at Annihilator's upper body and head, as those were obvious targets on any foe.

Whitewash was still running from the three Vehicons chasing her, "GUYS! GUYS!" she shouted, "SOME ASSISTS REQUIRED!"
Several shots passed her closely.
"Get back here, you DC glitch!" one of them shouted, as they chased close behind her. She slowed down just enough to let one catch up, then grabbed him and used their momentum to swing him around straight into the path that was Vating's barrage aimed at Annihalator.
What's in motion tends to remain in motion, so even as Whitewash tucked and rolled under the explosions, the second and third Vehicons ran straight into it.
"MUCH GRATITUDE!" Whitewash shouted at Vating as she dived behind a crate. His barrage had just erased the three Vehicons for her, even though they hadn't been his original targets.

Influx could feel the knocks on his helm as he slowly went back online. However, it took a while for him to adjust. The light from above, the ground, the voice who was talking to him... wait. Someone was talking to him while he was unconscious?. Once his senses were back online and he could see the stranger, somewhat relieved that she was a femmech and wasn't wearing an autobot or decepticon one, but the neutral yellow. It was a pretty good start.
Influx slowly sat up, his joints complaining, feeling off, his balance had yet to calibrate properly. Around him it was all a wasteland, it seemed, hoping the rest of the planet wasn't like this, it didn't look like this, not all of it, at least.
Finally, he turned his head back to the femmech. Maybe there was already a neutral alliance?, he hoped so.
"... Who are you?"
