At this point Nitrobite was running circles around Diamond, chanting excitedly. The moment the door opened the pale creature bolted out of the room and down the hall. If it weren't for the cold temperatures he left behind, Dia would have had an even more difficult time following him.

As if there was a tornado in the hallways, Sky stormed through, ignoring the shouts that was sent his way. He didn't need that now. As he approached his quarters the door opened to let him in. Once inside, Sky locked it just so that nobody else would follow him in. He vented heavily while his whole frame shook slightly as he tried to calm himself. He went over to the energon storage, grabbed a cube and consumed it all in a matter of seconds. He then took a seat on the couch, reading through old logs from the Regenesis project. He tried not to think about her right now, her and her obvious lack of appreciation for the things he did for her. What a glitch she could be.

Somebody banged on the door, and then pretty much instantly it opened about a foot. A long neck looked around the door and Whirl spotted Skyspray. He was pretty much incapable of a light knock. He was also incapable of waiting.
"Hey, Spray," Whirl told him cheerfully, his optic focusing, "Ya ran off just as I was gonna ask ya if ya had anythin' for me ta do, like a mission. Blowin' somethin' up or... or somethin'. I'm bored," Skyspray could practically hear the klaxon alarms going off, "An' everybody goes all, "Aw, Whirl, now look at what ya did" whenever I get bored. Like it's my fault I'm bored. You got somethin' ya need me ta do?"

Skyspray looked up from the datapad as Whirl stuck his helm in the crack in the door. Why was he here? Had he followed him all the way here? The Prime vented as he put the datapad down and got back up on his pedes. He wasn't feeling social right now, and Whirl barging into his room when the door had been locked did not improve his mood. His facial expression was strained as he replied to Whirl, mostly to get him to go away.
I don't know, go scout for decepticon activity and report back to Sparkflare about your findings. Alternatively, see if you can gather intel about what the humans are up to, we have seen an increased activity by them lately. Do it now, Soldier.
He was short and precise in what he wanted Whirl to do, and he expected Whirl to do it at once. He now had something to do, so he had no reason to bother Sky right now. He pressed the button to make the doors close again, and if Whirl against all odds didn't move, the doors would still shut and possibly decapitate him.

Before the door would close on Whirl's neck, Diamond smashed her digits into the unlock pad, opening the door, "Go away Whirl, I need to have a word with the Prime." She spoke with a tone that ran og authority, still angry, but only getting worse upon laying her optics on the green and now brown mech.
Shooing the other bot away, the femme closed the door behind her, "The hell is wrong with you?!" She hissed, baring her fangs at him and flattening her audios in aggression. "Making such a rash decision like always. You could have killed yourself from that surge, and others. Who knows what the Matrix can do." Diamond hoped to get through to him somehow.

"Hey, watch it, 'Spray!" Whirl complained, before pulling out. He headed for command central, "Scout. Seriously, do I look like a scout? Scout where, anyway?" he grumbled, heading away.

I can ask you the same thing! Freaking out because I tried to save your life! The Matrix is a tool of creation, not destruction for Frag's sake! You're not the one to talk about rash decisions. You've been to the medbay more times than I can count, because you decide to engage enemies, which you're not meant to do!
He didn't hide his anger from her. It was better that she got the full extent of it now. He wasn't one to baby others around because it would hurt their feelings, he wasn't raised that way. He turned away from her and walked back to the couch, gripping the back of it and staring into the TV. It wasn't common to see him this upset.

"It still hurt like hell. You know me, pain is something I don't cope well with. I thought I was going to die all over again! I don't know much of anything about the Matrix at all!" Diamond raised her voice to the limit before taking a vent, then sighed, looking down at the ground and letting a minute of silence come between hem. The last thing she wanted to do was apologize to him as she was too proud, but decided against it.
Look, I'm sorry I was ungrateful, okay? I appreciate the thought, but those decisions can lead both ways, good or bad." She was still upset at him, and that was clear in her tone, but another thing that was different was the sound that she was trying to calm down, something Sky should try sometime. "But you can't give me an order that is clearly too hard to follow. If you knew me well enough, you'd remember that the DJD built me into this body. I can't help the fact that I am a war machine!" Something disrupted her voice in a hic, and she tried her best to swallow the rest down. Was she already breaking? Odd...

Which is why you shouldn't engage in battles, since you can't cope with pain! You get pain when you get hurt and in battles, you get hurt a lot.
Sky wasn't exactly yelling at her, more like speaking very loudly now. He wasn't looking at her, something that maybe helped ease the tension, but he wasn't happy with her a bit. She still didn't seem to understand that he wasn't the one in the wrong here. She simply didn't understand her limits. When she apologized, he nodded in agreement, although what she said afterwards just made him vent really heavily.
But Diamond, don't you understand that if you don't want your body, you can just change it? I know a lot of people who changed their bodies to what better suited their needs. So you can help the fact. Maybe you should consider that. If you don't want to be it, then change. If not, then don't complain about my methods to keep you safe, because you don't seem to be doing a great job of that yourself.
He spoke the truth, he knew it, she knew it, didn't matter how much you tried to deny it. Now he just had to wait and see what storm would follow.

She knew he was right, but this body was now a part of her. Diamond had no words for him, clenching her talons together before releasing them. She hissed something incomprehensible under her breath before stomping over to the energon storage. The femme grabs the strongest grade he had and stared at the cube for a good moment.
Diamond didn't have an FMI chip, but that didn't stop her from taking a swig and then throwing whatever remained to the ground with a loud snarl, "You piss me off." Her tone was scarily calm for what anger radiated off her armour. Dia turned and stomped right up to Sky, not feeling much of a difference due to adrenaline, "Look at me Sky," She forcefully took his jaw in her servo and pulled his chin down so that she may be eye level with him, "I don't know why, but there's something about you that I can't place my digit on. You may be an ass, but you're too loveable to stay mad at for long. You may be a Prime, but it seems that a lot of us still would rather do our own thing. Hmm..." She pointed out, trying to find the right word, "Ah, I now know what it is. You're not dominant at all." Diamond's voice held a purr as she gripped his face, making sure he didn't go anywhere. She was already loving this new strength of hers. Her expression was unreadable, but it was indeed flushed with a blue tint that indicated slight intoxication.

Don't drink too much, you might hurt yourself. Again.
He didn't have to look at her to know what she was doing. He could feel it and hear it, therefore there was no point in turning to watch it. He didn't drink himself, both because he didn't get affected by high grades and because he saw no reason to lower your performance willingly like that. It just made no sense, why would anyone do that? It didn't take long until she came over and by then it was already too late. She was drunk. As she was obviously drunk, he didn't care to listen too closely to what she said. Then she pulled on his cheek, and was only able to bring him down lower because he didn't resist. Even if Dia was stronger than before, Sky was stronger than her by a lot. She kept rambling about a whole lot of nonsense, nothing that had anything with this to do. He grabbed her arm and forcibly tore it away from his face.
Diamond, stop. You're drunk. Go get yourself sobered up and we can continue talking.
He looked her straight in the optics as he said so, letting go of her and straightening out fully again. He turned his back on her once again and went back to the couch to continue reading the logs.

"The hell is the matter with you?" Diamond hissed, "I'm not drunk. I'm just numbing the pain in my ass that is you." She shrugged, turning her back to him, crossing her arms and letting off a 'humph'. "It'd be a shame if you were all alone again, don't you think?" Her tone molded into a smartass tone, the energon already beginning to fade, only a little, due to the fact that she only took a mouth full.
"Whatever. Have fun moping on your own, I'll take your damn advice then." With a finally huff, the femme walked straight to the berth and made herself comfortable, curling in on herself to look small on the large slab, and closed her optics. Her form still shook with teeming anger, but half of it was pain and sadness, thoughts of regret flooding her mind.

While she said she wasn't drunk, she spoke like a drunk person. Sky rolled his optics at her words and kept reading the logs, letting her do as she wanted. The mark about being alone was a low blow, but he knew that wasn't going to happen. He heard her walking away to their berth, her pedes making quite the impact for someone who should be based around stealth. Not that he was one to say anything, he was a whole lot heavier than her. He didn't follow her immediately, finishing reading through the last of the logs instead. Everything seemed to go just as planned. Eventually he pushed himself up into a standing position and followed her into the berthroom.
Sky watched her lie there on her side, doing her best to look tiny. He smiled slightly at the sight of it before sitting down on his side beside her, gently running a servo over her new wings. His digits traced the panel lines, just lightly caressing the wings themselves.
Diamond, you know that I only get angry because I love you, right? I want what's best for you, which is why I get frustrated when you do the opposite. If you want to drink more there's a cube waiting for you.
Sky said slowly but clearly so that she would hear him. He moved his servo from her wings and let it slide up her shoulder and then the side of her face. Once he reached that point he retracted it and kept it at his side for now, leaning backwards so that he was half-sitting, half-laying down. He also closed his optics, in need of a recharge too. He hadn't recharged properly in months, so this seemed like a good opportunity to do so.

She would have almost powered down completely if it weren't for the loud steps leading up to her resting point, and a gentle servo touching her wings- caressing them like a precious animal. It made her groan softly in irritance, residual annoyance still present, though of course she tried not to growl up at him, "I know. That's what I'm trying to say too," Diamond moved to sit up, still small compared to Sky yet a reasonable size so that she didn't break in his grasp.
"Pig head." She said, in a stronger tone that suggested left over anger as she scooted off the berth. A drink couldn't hurt, would it? Dia stepped out towards the small storage, getting one of the same grade and not hesitating to drink it.

He opened his optics in time to see her leave the berth and walk out, catching a side of her read in the process. He smiled slightly at the view and shifted some plating to allow more limb access instead of armor. This meant that joins and such were more exposed and that he could move more freely. He also detacted his back cannons and the arm cannons, putting them on a track next to the berth where they would be transported off for reloading and polishing. Sky could hear her Dia drinking in the other room, but he didn't know what kind or how much. The one he had put forward was a high grade, the 397 collection, one of the finest, supposedly. He wouldn't ever use it so, he didn't care.
Does it taste good, Diamond?

"This stuff barely has a taste..." Diamond groaned in disgust, not feeling an affect yet on her systems, or perhaps that was just from the previous swig. The femme finished a single cube and tried to calm herself of the anger that had been boiling deep down for a while. "You should consider a different set of high grades, the stuff is just terrible." She walked over and crawled onto the berth, slumping down on her front, hold her head up on her elbows.
She studied him for a moment, letting off a soft noise as she settled her helm down, "I wish I could feel what you feel... it'd be easier to resolve our problems then..." Diamond said softly, before scoffing to herself, "Pretty sure I'd feel like crap all day then due to your attitude." The change in tone was the same as before, still angry with a hint of calmness.

Did you take the one I put there or did you take a new one? What you drank before was not what I put forward. It is supposedly one of the best ones out there. But I don't know, I don't drink high grades much.
Sky said as she complained about what she drank. She also should know that he didn't drink, at least not often enough to know what kind of high grade was good and what wasn't. He moved a little ta make place for her once she came to lie down next ot him. He wasn't quite sure what to make of her next statement, so he just didn't respond to it. He instead put a servo on her neck, stroking it and her upper back.
I can get you another High-grade if you want, one that might please you..
He reached into the small cupboard on the side of the berth and pulled out another cube, which he offered her in case she wanted it.

Diamond groaned again as she reached for the cube he offered, pushing herself up to inspect and drink it in a few gulps. The femme laid back down, only getting bluer in the cheeks as the occasional hiccup popped out. "I swear, if it's like this after every arguement..." She couldn't even finish her sentence before rubbing her face with her servos.
She huffed, looking up at Sky, still upset. "I think you have scraplets for a brain..." Diamond didn't say much more before scooting over and fitting herself into the curves of his body comfortably.

He smiled down at her, removing his servo from her and placing it on his own stomach. He observed as she was changing her facial colors as she drank the cube, and began slurring a little. She was drunk alright. He vented softly as she crawled over to him and stayed there. He put his arms out to the sides, his digits resting on her wingtips as he rubbed them slowly.
And why do you think I have scraplets for a processor? That's not a nice thing to say, Dia.
He assumed it as just a drunken saying and didn't care too much about it. It wasn't very nice to say such things though, not after he had been so nice with her now. He just let her stay for now, curious of what she would do next.

"You don't think..." She mumbled before dozing off. Diamond wouldn't hear anything he'd say next, if he did, and simply drifted off into a drunken slumber. The femme wouldn't move much at all other than the occasional twitch and constant rise and fall of her systems.
"But I love you." A whisper that could barely be heard would escape her form as she absorbed the warmth of the mech beside her.
