Guards escorted a flustered and mildly embarrassed Shatterbeam to Skyspray's quarters. His servos slid along the door looking for the keypad until one of the guards grew impatient and opened it. Shatter thanked them and stepped inside, his cane tapping about in front of him. The room was crowded, small, his echolocation was nigh useless. He just got blurrs. He'd have to rely on, ugh, his other senses. His rotor blades twitched nervously, one of his signs of excitement. He'd never been part of a meeting like this.
Did I miss anything of import?

Diamond felt a small form of relief in her chest upon seeing Shrike in the group of apparent high command. Seeing the mech happy however, did set off a form of accomplishment in her mind, seeing as he had struggled as much as she did before they retrieved his brother. Her audio twitched when Taggon responded to her hail, and if she were that once sweet little blue femme today, she probably would have hugged him out of joy from seeing an old friend again. She restrained herself a great deal however once Diamond felt a curious gaze on her back, and turned to see the Prime walking towards them. But not having much respect for anyone of higher authority, she didn't change her stance to greet the mech, she only held up an index and a middle digit in the form of a human peace gesture.
Following the rest in, Diamond nearly shuddered when she remembered that awkward conversation her and Sky had a couple days earlier, the taste of nervousness still lingering in the stale air of his home. She took this time to listen to her surroundings out of instinct, not paying much attention to the lecture they were all being given.
'I couldn't be more proud of you, Diamond.' Words she hadn't heard for a long while made her flinch. Of course her recent self was inside her head, and it flashed an image of the distant past through her vision. Her caretaker, patting her on the helm with that big and loving smile of his. She was never absolutly sure if he was dead, but if he was she would have felt it, and possibly would have perished as well because of it. Stop living in the past you worthless scrap heap. You're Head of Surveillance now, quit being a sparkling! Deatheye taunted her heavily whenever her past came up, and she kept herself from shaking her helm.
Focusing on Skyspray now rather than the floor, she relax her expression from a subconscious sour one, taking in distracting information that would keep her wandering mind and senses off things. She could finally put that Decepticon ESP to good use and help the cause as being part of the AHC. Diamond however couldn't hold off her thoughts for long, for she wondered if Kurse would be as proud as Taggon was. Of course he would! I'm his own creation for crying out loud... so would they... Everyone would be proud for a little sister... right? Blinking her optics a few times to get rid of a small portion of fluid that built up, Diamond let her mind go blank yet again once she heard something about a new project. A mobile base? Are they taking the con approach and travelling anywhere in a battleship? Wouldn't that be fun... The femme however was not one to wait for asking a question, and so once the first break in his speech of glory came up, she seized that chance.
"So bassically, what you're telling us is that we're going to build an Autobot glorified Nemesis, and simply hope that a giant death ray will destroy all the Decepticons here on Earth?" Raising a ridge, Diamond crossed her arms again, slapping herself mentally for sounding so sarcastic and nonchalant. Welp, that was her nature either way, live with it or leave it. She kept her face cool but stern, hoping to brush off the inquiry she had so stupidly decided to share. But then there was Sky, who could add a gun to a salt shaker and not give a damn about it. She couldn't say that didn't mean for a good laugh, but she felt as though he was paranoid, which is a bit of a good thing in war, but bad if it progresses to get worse. Best not to worry about it now however.

Gearchange looked over the schematics for the ship, his optics flickered and dialated as he took in each aspect of the ship, each weapon. It was enough to make a wrecker cry for joy. A grin appeared on the wrecker's faceplate.
Aye, that ship's got enough guns to make an arms dealer look like a scrap metal dealer, compensating much there? I like it, a lot. I can see this ship becoming a vanguard for the Autobots against the Decepticon's own fleet... especially when there is the posibility of a spacebridge and a way back to Cybertron if it ever springs back to life.
He then took out his own datapad and brought up a schematic of the arc in its current state.
I strongly suggest we retrofit this military outpost built on top to provide us with a ground base of operations too, High Grand was designed with the Arc in mind and has some of the best defence systems and camouflage, kept us out of sight for years.
I know the wreckers have their home in Cargobay 3, but once I get word out to them about this operation maybe a temporary location can be found.
Speaking of Wreckers Prime, something big is about to go down. You may recall Genorix, he went MIA a while back and Whirl reports that he is now a Decepticon. Seems like he's calling us out now and we're responding big time.
Once I get the ship-wide communication out I'm heading out with Ultra Magnus and the wreckers to engage them. Keep an eye on the radar alright, it could be a trap... hah it IS a trap. We're just springing it.

Post by Shrike and Contrail on Aug 12, 2016 5:45:27 GMT
Shrike would have answered Ratchet, but awfully familiar footsteps silenced him. Skyspray was inbound. For the sake of actually seeming like a respectable unit rather than the near child he put on normally, Shrike positioned himself to actually have good posture. The others here seemed so familiar with eachother, and already knew to be at the ready for Sky's areival. He felt out of place, like he did not belong. A feeling he hadn't experienced in far too many megacycles to recall. The AvaCons functioned like a family, so a feeling like this was actually unsettling. It put Shrike on edge as he was let into the Prime's quarters, functioning as the caboose to the line entering. He'd positioned himself in the back of the small crowd, feeling it was where he belonged. The thought of being part of something now felt unreachable. This was no a feeling Shrike enjoyed.
The briefing of future plans left Shrike rather baffled. He really intended to accomplish a task like this? Sky wanted them to do this, he had it all planned out, of course he did. Sky liked direct, bold methods, no doubt to that. So it shouldn't have been a surprise, yet it still was. Shrike only had one thing to say to Sky to address something critically important about the design.
"Is it maneuverable?" Shrike seemed rather keen on the question, really, like it was critical, "I mean, we can take on the Nemesis, but many underestimate the advantages of out maneuvering your target. It's actually very crucial to good design." The main reason Shrike knew this was because he himself was an aircraft, and he understood how they worked. Sure it's a bigger target, and xlearly cannot evade attacks, but evasion isn't the only benefit. The Regesis could benefit from the design quality by being able to cut off and disrupt the Nemesis, even preventing escape. It's a surprisingly effective strategy.
Then Shatterbeam arrived in a state of embarrased worry, Shrike being the only one to greet the familiar face, "Hey there Shatter. You missed Sky's big plan to buuld a giant cruiser as the antithesis to the Nemesis. Big plans y'know?" He whispered, keeping facing to the Prime as he did so. It was important to Shrike to remain attentive, as he used to never pay attention and it only got him into scrap. Migbt as well change his ways for when it mattered after all. He'd made enough mistakes as is. He didn't want to blow it now, no when his life finally meant something again.

Looking at the assembled bots, Sky mentally noted how everyone reacted. Some were excited about the entire thing while some seemed to be a bit skeptical. The reactions were expected and the young Prime nodded at their comments and remarks. Ratchet's comment about the Rod Pod made him slightly confused as he raised an optical ridge. He had never heard about that before and was about to ask what it was when he received the dismissing hand gesture from the old medic. He didn't really want to give the job to Ratchet because the old medic was needed elsewhere, but they had no engineers. That meant they had to divert resources from other areas to cover up for their shortcomings.
Quantum engines are what we really need, but we don't have anyone who is versed in the field of actually using them. And don't start this convo with "You kicked him out", Because I didn't. It was his own choice. How to start this project.. I'm thinking of building under ground, here in High Grand. That way we all can be present in case something goes wrong and it has protection. The first step should be to find a suitable area and start digging out something so big that this ship can fit there. It will be hard work but I am sure we can do it in a reasonable amount of time.
Digging would take a long time, especially as the ship would be gigantic, over 15km long and 10km wide at the largest part. It needed to be dug at least a kilometer deep under ground as to not be detected from the surface but still be quickly deployable in case of an emergency. Sky had went over all of this in his helm a lot of times and this was the best he could do. Taggon's comment came as a small reassurance to Sky and he hoped that this time, things wouldn't go south between them. Pacing back and forth between his desk, frequently checking various numbers on panels behind it, he stopped when he heard another bot enter. Looking up and over at the smaller bot, Sky recognized Shatterbeam and smiled at him. Finally his Magnus had arrived, although he wouldn't see Sky's smile as the mech was blind.
Ah, there you are, Shatter. Well, all you missed was that we need to improve our army and that we are going to build a new base, A giant spacecruiser. Have you got the squads down yet or do you need more time with that?
Sky Said and hoped that he didn't come off as rude. He didn't like being rude although in certain situations, he became that either way. This was not one of those situations however as he was in a freindly, yet serious mood. The meeting progressed quite nicely without any big hinders. There was also another reason he wanted to live on a ship again and that was the simple fact that he was raised on one. Flying around in space had been calming, at least when he wasn't close to anyone else on the ship. Nickel and Pet was okay to be around, they weren't mean to him but they had never taken his side either. Pet was close to him, that was true, but she had always been Kaon's turbofox. Those memries were repressed as of now, nothing he thought of much anymore but when he did, it always made him in a bad mood. The ship maybe was one way to finally get over it all, but maybe it would make it all worse. He didn't have an answer to that as of this momment.
No, Diamond. We are not building a glorified Nemesis with a death laser. We are building a new mobile base with defenses that will keep us all alive in case of an attack. I don't know about the rest of you, but I prefer being able to defend myself before I die.
Sky's reply was not overly loud, but not exactly quiet. He spoke through semi-gritted dentas, showing that it wasn't really a subject to joke around about. If they didn't take this seriously then there was no real reason to even have this meeting. They needed to take this as seriously as t got, because this wasn't some kind of game which people played and enjoyed. This was reality and people wouldn't like it but that was how things were. There wasn't any real way to change that, Sky knew as he had openly asked the question multiple times before. Turning to Gearchange, he saw that the mech liked the design from the look in his optics.
Yes, i agree with you, Gear. This place is the perfect place for us to build it and we wil need all the help we can get, and all the resources we can get. Yes, I did hear about Genorix but some people thought it was best not to tell me about it. Can't say I agree with their decision but it is too late to change now. Just be careful when springing the trap then. I don't want a bunch of dead wreckers or decepticons in the base. Understood?
He was not a fan of the wreckers' enthusiasm for springing traps. Almost every time it ended really badly and now he couldn't afford to lose more people. People were the thing he needed as they made everything go much quicker. Turning to Shrike, Sky thought for a second before answering his question.
It depends on the engines we can get. If we get great engines, we might be faster. If not, don't get your hopes up. It can turn, don't worry about that.
Sky wasn't entirely sure himself about it and thusly provided the best answer he could think of quickly. right then he got a comm from another autobot which he responded to. These requests weren't often asked, making Sky smile a little bit, at least in his mind.
:: A mission, eh? Sure. Check if there is any autobots on the field in need of assistance and give them the help they need. Remember, Autobots stick together. ::
It wasn't going to be too hard to carry out that mission, as bots could pop out almost everywhere. Sky would let him choose himself who he wanted to help. Now he turned back to the rest of his assembled command.
I believe that we are finished here. Everyone knows what they should do, right? Well then, let's get going. Autobots, Today, Primus smiles upon us.
He clapped his servos, signaling that they all were free to go. They needed to get started on ths project ASAP or the decepticons maybe would advance too far. If they did, Sky wasn't sure if they would be able to stop them...

"Underground... Should take a week at best to clear someplace out."
Ratchet said as he nodded, making a note to find the lowest part of the base and dig out 25x20km. That should take a few days. A week at best. Not to mention a way to get this in the air would be a factor in the area of problems. The medibay should be free at the moment so he could go and look it over when he'll leave.
The old medic looked at Shatterbeam as the blind 'bot entered. The old mech didn't really have much of a reaction like mpst would, he didn't really know Shatterbeam all too well. For the time being Ratchet stood where he was, letting Skyspray talk to the others while he delved into his own thoughts. The whole situation about kicking out Sparkflare didn't bother him as much now that he learned it was the mech's own choice. Ratchet had looked over the Autopedia entry and found nothing on Sparkflare being able to mind control someone. Still, it worried him that Skyspray didn't allow it. Especially since Skyspray himself did say that the Autobots needed to stick together. They could talk about it later.
Ratchet's mind came back into real time. When Skyspray clapped his hands, saying everyone was free to go and that Primus smiles apon them. Ratchet refrain from debunking that statement. It would be best to have something to keep the Autobots motivated. Even though he was now free to leave, Ratchet stayed, the possible outlier with the ability to phase through walls troubled him. Was there a head of security to stop this kind of thing from happening? He would wait for everyone else (or at lesst the majority of them) to leave first before asking the question.

Taggon merely paid attention to his surroundings. His visor remained locked on Skyspray, though his optics and audios bounced from place to place. If he was to be a part of the Council, he would need to know it. Skyspray was Prime, and he’d come up with a sweeping plan, and like all leaders, he faced slight opposition. Peaceful seas never made good sailors however…and Taggon knew Skyspray hadn’t exactly been on a luxury cruise in the first place. He’d do fine. He had friends here too.
Diamond seemed to have defaulted back into an uncomfortable and antisocial expression, clearly guarding her thoughts as she listened. Taggon noticed how she peered at Skyspray, and how her gaze softened...her eyes lowering in an intensity. Skyspray passed a few glances. She’s on his side. Taggon decided, even though she asked if the ship was a giant death laser. Skysprays reply would be something Taggon found completely Understandable: Equipping onself. Not to mention, in Taggon previous field, ‘death rays’ weren’t entirely a bad idea.
Shatterbeam appeared, shyly approaching. Taggon hadn’t laid his optics upon the mech for ages. He was about to give the Magnus a solemn solute, before he realized the mech couldn’t see him. “Good to see you sir.” Taggon nodded at him. He raised his energon cube a little as if to toast to his arrival—even if the mech couldn’t see the toast. Spirit of the Law, not the letter Taggon. He’s with Skyspray as well.
Gearchange was skeptical. Such mechs were necessary. Taggon knew little of Gearchange, save that he was Feenixfire’s wife, and he’d handed the vehicon his aft ages ago. No hard feelings though. When a leader thought a plan up, the calculated process of what really needed to be done for the plan to work was always said by one individual or the other. Gearchange poke of Quantum engines, and a trap. The mentioning of Genorix caught Taggon’s eye. He mentally frowned. Genorix had been caught and turned into a Decepticon. It was sad news. Knowing the power at Genorix’s disposal, Taggon could only imagine what the warrior was going to do. As for the Quantum engines…Taggon arched an optic ridge. When he was allowed time to speak, he very well could have a solution.
Ratchet. He was an aged and experienced mech. He was short on words, and seemed to hold a sort of tiredness the kind of mechs had an essence of if they’d been carrying a heavy burden for centuries. Ratchet wasn’t much on disagreement. Intelligence was in his blue eyes though. He was on Skyspray’s side.
Shrike. He was…an odd one. Taggon had yet to know what to think of the mech. He was energetic. He was young. He was a new generation of cybertronian, he was an Avacon. He was clearly friends with some people in the room. No one was shooting him annoyed or uncomfortable glares. He was not to be someone to be suspicious of. Even if he was an Avacon, evidently. Taggon heard the traces of the whispers. He didn’t hear what he said to Shatter specifically, but he never denied Skyspray. It appeared the mech had surrounded himself by mostly friends and family. Taggon let the Prime answer everyone’s questions, similar to Ratchet, Taggon remained where he was, the cube still in his servo.
“Sir. The A19 Strike team was disbanded.” Taggon said to Skyspray. “A while ago, I managed to capture our Behemoth classed Flagship, the Aries Fist. We were unable to acquire the resources to make it completely functional, but it had its engines intact. It is sitting idle on Elba. Perhaps we can salvage what could still be functional. If not, there is a crashed landing site of another ship designated ‘The Ramshell’. That may have salvageable pieces.” He offered, speaking openly to all. He wasn’t only Speaking to Skyspray. He was no engineer, but perhaps this information could be of use.
“Our enemies are clever sir. They are moving now, and they are up to no good as you said. They may soon discover our intention, and in the depths of our defense our ship-in-progress may be, we may want to focus their attention on other matters—or also divide our attention on several other projects. With all due respect sir, Blaster fire and thrusters cannot save us alone.” Taggon said. He was hinting at his own ideas. It was a win-win either way. If Skyspray wanted him to leave immediately, he would say so and know Taggon had plans in store for later. If not, Taggon would tell him them in his own way, and then go off to work. The soldier stood straight, awaiting the his Prime’s response, as well as the rest of his work-team.

It was in Diamond's nature to merely look like she took things seriously. Deep down she knew everyone was dead and gone either way, it was the way of a war life, what would be the issue in having a little fun? Her expression shifted again and again, a hostile debate occurring in her helm as he dismissed everyone.
If you tell him, you immediately get stripped of your rank as the Head! Nearly growling, Dia gritted her dentas, lowering her audios and standing stone still as she glared with a hateful fire at the ground, as if she didn't appreciate the fact it didn't hold everyone up. Shut the hell up. You know nothing. I'm stronger. I'm more reasonable. You're just a program. The femme replied, nearly yelling out loud, but only opening her mouth as if she were about to speak once she remembered that no one else could hear this argument.
Blinking back into reality, Diamond looked up at the Prime who was paying attention to the others. She quickly went up to ask for an audience with him, just to get the weight off her chest.
"When you have a moment, sir. I need to speak to you, it's a private manner, please." She spoke without raising her gaze from the floor, still hunched over and hugging herself as if she were guarding her mind from an attack. The femme quickly swept away like the shadows, leaving him to continue with the others as she would wait patiently against one of the walls with a new frustrated expression.
This may not be like the previous her, but nearly no one knows of her disorder, save Rift, who was dead. It was time for her to come clean, and hope that someone out there has the ability to suppress two programs into one... would it even be possible? It seemed unlikely that a two-spirited bot would be able to live with herself after the things one side committed, and the things the other hasn't. You still haven't chosen who's side you're yet, haven't you? Pathetic. I just say we go alone, on our own sides. You don't even have an autobot insignia! I'm surprised you even got this far without one. And that no one has yet been suspicious of you. Why not have a little thrill? It was a valid argument, but Diamond knew better. Follow the leader, and you're bound to live longer if you followed your instincts.

Gearchange took his datapad back, nodding to Skyspray. He had been kept long enough and was eager to get into battle. A ship-wide announcement and bulletin would be enough to grab the attention of the Autobots and having them report in to get assigned a duty under the commanding officers would be suitable enough.
He looked back to the others and opened the door to leave, returning back to the wrecker headquarters.

Shatter sighed and directed his voice to Skyspray's general direction.
I'm afraid not sir. Empress is ready to deploy as needed, but I haven't heard anything from Bruiser. I sent him a comm a while ago, but I never recieved a response. As for your squad, sir, two are in the room and I haven't seen the last in a while. I believe he was part of a scheme gone wrong? My memory fails me.
Shatter tapped his fingers. He was chipper, yet disappointed all the same. He waited for the meeting to end, afterward he would leave to continue his work. He was beginning to think he was counted on more than he suspected.

Post by Shrike and Contrail on Aug 13, 2016 6:16:36 GMT
The room seemed to fade out of existence, Shrike felt emptiness around him, and that was it. All that was said by the others was numbed out by a feeling. No, an epiphany. Every circuit was closing, every gear clicking into place in the machine that was what the frag had happened in recent events.
Why Ichor died, why Contrail was on the brink, why Contrail even arrived at all, why the AvaCons haven't shown a single sign of even existing that he should have noticed in these past few days. Something went wrong.
"How did I not notice? It was so obvious, I should have known. Why did I take so long to put this together? Shrike mumbled to himself with little to no coherency, but before anyone could question what he was bumbling on about, he came back to reality. Apparently the mech had been staring at his servos this whole time as his gaze shifts upright and he blinks repeatedly. It was clear he was gathering composure as his posture corrected itself and he swallowed the air that was suffocating him. this was what could easily solve every issue. It was an epiphany for the past, present and future. Not just his future, but the future of the Autobots.
Looking the Prime right in the optics, Shrike's intake opened slowly to speak, "Skyspray, what about the Axiom?" Shrike quickly gave himself a mental slap to the face, "The AvaCon space platform. It was struck on transit to Earth. It had to be evacuated due to a crash landing on Earth's moon. I now realize why Ichor never made it back here alive, and why Contrail is sitting in the medbay about to fall into Primus' servos again. The Axiom had a viral outbreak, something of Ichor's went wrong. It's the only thing that makes even a sliver of sense. This means that if we can reach the moon, and clean up, we get an entire space platform of resources for the project." It wasn't at all hidden that the mech was proud, he didn't even try to keep it down. This was a miracle to him, to actually have input that could make this mission an easy success. Just getting there and cleaning... those would certainly be the difficult parts. Maybe use the afore mentioned engines that he definitely payed attention to?

Post by Skyspray (Aquahaze) on Aug 13, 2016 13:11:39 GMT
Sky nodded at Ratchet's statement. This was a project that would take quite some time but in the end it would all be worth it. If they reached the end, that was. There was a high chance that something would go wrong, especially while retrieving all the parts. What they needed first was something to cover their tracks, a jammer of some sort. Maybe a cloaking field as to cover the actual dig site. It would be a disaster if everything was ruined before it even began. having an engineer on the team would ahve been great as of now, but sadly they were rarer than a point-one percenter these days. Sky would know, he was one.
Like ratchet had thought, he didn't want to exlie Spakflare at all, and had highly advocated against it in his mind. Sure, it was to catch Catetron but the way Sparkflare had left made Sky think that the mech had other motives. Seeing as Ratchet's ship had been gone when he left for Brisbane, Sparkflare had probably taken it, just as Ratchet thought. Skypray was not really sure what it meant but he wasn't expecting to hear much from the mech anytime soon.. That was life he supposed and he couldn't change it. Sky wasn't religious as some of the other bots were, but he knew that Primus existed, he had to exist.
Despite what people thought, he hadn't picked the people in the room because of family relations or because they were friends. Some were picked because they didn't have anyone else who could do the job. These were desperate times indeed, and desperate times required desperate measures. Without really thinking about it, energon appeard in Sky's clenched servo from basically thin air. The energon then began to pour out from between his digits and up on his arm, like a snake. He didn't notice anything until the bright blueish fluid rached his tesla coil and created a sparking noise, like if something was burning. He looked down at the arm, observing the pattern that it created before waving his arm slightly, making the energon disappear into thin air. He didn't know why it had appeard but he recognized the pattern from somewhere...
When taggon began speaking, Sky looked towards the shorter mech, pondering his words. He had been on the "Aries Fist" a long time ago, which meant that he knew about the location with it. He had been there with Stormgear, before they parted ways and she went MIA. A shame really as they had known each other since the Academy days. It had been her, Dashside and himself and out of the three of them, he was the only one left it seemed. Both the femmes were MIA and he didn't have high hopes about finding them, at least not Dash. From what he remembered, she hadn't been ne to back down from a fight and sometimes she didn't know when to back off. It could have been her downfall but Sky didn't know. Anything was possible. He hadn't heard about the Ramshell though, so that was a bit of news to him.
Well, we could start by salvaging those ships then. If we act quickly and with precision, we should be able to get them home relatively easy. Organize a strike team and get going as quickly as you can.Yes, we can't slack behind on the other fronts either, I know, but I have to prioritize. we don't have enough people to make a split that isn't in favor of any side. Focus too much on the spaceship and our regular fighting will suffer, focus more on fighting the cons and it will take longer until we get the ship built. Which is why I assign you to get a strike team and fetch whatever you can salvage from the ships. Understood? Great, Good luck, Taggon.
That was basically Taggon's que that he could leave. Sky was in a bit of a hurry and thusly wanted everything to go as quickly as possible. The more time they stood around doing nothing, the less time they had to act before something happened, and that something was usually bad. As Dia walked up to him and said she wanted to talk to him, he nodded as to give her an answer. Sure she could stay for a while, Sky was all too happy with that. Turning his helm to Shatterbeam, he nodded again. There was an awful lot of nods today but it wasn't on the top of Sky's agenda to fix it. Gearchange had left so at least that factor was done.
Alright. Contact the others then and assemble the squad. As for our Squad, Sortie sounds like a good candidate as a replacement. Contact her as soon as possible, Shatter. Preferrably now. She can join Shrike in his mission.
His attention was then brought to Shrike as he uttered Sky's name. Glancing over at the ex-avacon he felt a surge of energy from him. He did have a very valid point too, if they could get those engines, maybe things would go much smoother than originally anticipated.
That does sound like a theory worth testing. But we need a way to get there.. Would the engines from these earlier ships do? We could build a smaller ship to get up there and then go back down with the engines.... yes that could work. Shrike, You will have the responsibilty for that, along with Taggon. Now if you all excuse me, I have two private matters to attend to. Let's get to work guys.
The last part was meant towards Dia and Ratchet as it seemed like they wanted to discuss something. Dia had said it and Ratchet.. something about him felt odd, at least to Sky. He just hoped that the others left so that they all could start working. They couldn't afford to lose time..

Ratchet nodded as he crossed his arms as he sent a message to the mining crew to go down into the lowest level of the arm and being to dig the place out. The old medic looked at Skyspray and sighed. The old medic was old and was getting older. The more he worked the more he is wearing out his use.
"Skyspray. I'm going to be honest with you. You'll appreciate that this may be hard for me say, but you should be informed."
The medic paused before he went on, let Skyspray fully absorb what he was going to say.
"I'm old. Yes, it is obvious but from looks aside it is far more serious. My hands, it may not look like it, but they're being worn down. I can feel myself getting slower with every tenth or so repair. And this is not a 'let them rest for a while and they'll recover' these hands have been with me since my creation. They are irreplaceable. Rest assured any noticeable changes should be a long time yet. But you should be warned that once they're done, they're done."

Taggon knew when he was being told to move. A second worth of listening informed him he wasn't to handle his scavenging mission alone. He would be working with Shrike, and another Autobot designated 'Sortie'. An interesting name. Taggon approached the younger mech after Skyspray was finished speaking,
"Yes sir." Taggon answered, turning around. He was to assemble a strike team to retrieve the valuable pieces. The Aries Fist Was the most well guarded ship, whereas the Ramshell had no guards. It was best to get the riskier one out of the way in Taggon's book. He made way to exit his Prime's quarters. he expected Shrike would likely be behind him. New partners, and what a fascinating opportunity. he'd be talking with a fellow ex-avacon. A dream come true. Taggon thought dryly, deciding to keep the comment to himself. He motioned Diamond a good bye. he would likely see her again sooner than later considering she was a part of high command now.
Taggon was now past the doorway, heading for the command central again. He knew it was there he could coordinate the strike team. He stole a glimpse of what was behind him, almost as if beckoning Shrike to join him, before he was gone, the hallways acting as a limbo between the private quarters and the command central.
::This is Taggon calling ex A19 Strike team protectot squads Aquida and Hovv. Meet me in the command center at once. We have a mission.::

Shatter nodded, whistling for the guards to lead him out of the room. He didn't mind being led, he enjoyed knowing where to go. Most of the time the base was too crowded for his echolocation, so he kept to his guards. The perks of being a Magnus. When he passed by Taggon, he gave a slight nod of respect.

Honestly this plan was now both a miracle and a curse. Raiding the Axiom, with or without AvaCons to protect it was an endeavor. Defenses, a plague, methods to keep from anyone handling the ship without huge amounts of effort.
Going to the fragging moon.
At least he'd have people to help him. He really wanted to talk to Taggon anyways. After all, Taggon knew a lot more about the history of the AvaCons than he did. Rushing to catch up, Shrike intended to follow him ajd ask these sorts of things when they reach the command central.

Sky watched more of his command leave to do their duties, something which made him happy. The bots were finally doing something that wasn't similar to being headless chickens. Skyspray vented heavily, letting steam out of his body with a slight hiss from his intake. It hadn't been an easy ride, but they had made it a good bit now. His attention was now solely on Ratchet as he listened to what the older mech had to say. It was a bit worrying, and it made him frown.
So basically, you're saying that your hands will eventually shut down. What about the rest of you? Is there any way to fix it? I mean, I'm sure the Matrix could help in the worst case scenario...
He didn't want to use the matrix unless absolutely necessary as it did have limited power. It could run out and if it did... that would be the biggest disaster since the beginning of the Great war. Sky shivered by the mere thought of it happening, not many things had that effect on him. Just out of old habit his servo shifted into an SMG, which Sky proceeded to give a little whirl before it became his regular servo again. He felt Diamond's presence in the close vicinity but fugured she'd stay away until Ratchet was gone. A bit antisocial but.. eh. Some were like that.
