((I'm back. Sorry if it feels a little bit like teleporting.))
Making his way back to his own assigned quarters (though it took a while), the young technopath enters his personalized room with some of his usual amusement. Technically, being inactive and somewhat crammed into a shuttle pod from Primus-knows-where would have counted as his first "living room" experience; but this was practically something else entirely. The room, to the average being with some stylistic choices, would look bland and spacey upon first impressions, but it was perfectly fine for Shift at the moment, especially after witnessing what just occurred in the Dining Room.
Consciously, his memory had been a bit fuzzy from what occurred after another medic had arrived to help the bleeding Protectobot. Perhaps he was slipping between consciousness due to the overall chaos occurring at once? He only vague remembered a few points. One: the rogue prisoner had be hit by some projectiles. Two: some yelling had occurred between the two Predacons, one of them being his supposed leader. Three: report back to your rooms. His sensory systems have no connection to his mental state, so they should be able to add context before and in between those moments after processing the recordings. Still, Shift had the mental tick to follow orders, even if they were questionable. ::I wonder what's going to happen next?::

*Water starts seeping under the doors of the apartments.* Audio receptors twitch as they attract Shift's attention towards an unusual sight: water leakage into the apartment. Very odd indeed. The base looked very well maintained from a visual standpoint, so where could this water becoming from? Slowly, the mech walks towards the growing puddle, stares at its continual growth, then ponders towards towards the apartment door. Should he open it? Well, perhaps he should inform the others of this incident, just in case. Shift's hand grabs the latch of the door and slowly slides it manually; hopefully the water level isn't too extreme.

((I'll wait for confirmation. Shift hasn't really left the room yet (he's just curiously peeking out), so there's still time to quickly allow that to happen.))

*The water rushed in from the hallway like a flood.*

::Alright all of you listen up, The water level is rising fast and its sedatives will knock you out if prolonged to its exposure... I want all of you to make your way upwards, knock out a ceiling panel and there will be a vent directly behind you, this leads to the corridor to this section.
Those of you who manage to get out, meet in the access tunnel over the hallway to the appartments and help anyone else who may be stuck.
This is probably a test, of teamwork and how to survive, so get moving::

"Oh-."The water begins to slam through the small doorway gap in full force. Desperately Shift attempts to shove the sliding door back into place, but it was practically futile at this point. Instinctively, the mech heads towards the top of the adjacent berth as the room continues to fill up with water. 'Okay, this is very unfortunate and unusual for a supposedly minor leakage,' thought Shift. 'It is imperative that I have to find a means of escape. The doorway is too risky to head towards as this current of water is becoming more and more powerful by the second.'::Alright all of you listen up, The water level is rising fast and its sedatives will knock you out if prolonged to its exposure... At least Shift knows that this flooding issue wasn't an isolated incident. As the water level reaches towards the top of the berth, Shift's optics quickly looks up towards the ceiling. In plain sight was his way out of this mess, and his four of his tentacles merely shoot out to latch. Thrusting himself up, the remaining two tentacles focus on removing the ceiling panel. This was, admittedly, a very frightening scenario, and occurring to the comm-link, it could have possibly been the result of a training exercise.
He didn't really consider himself a claustrophobic type of person, but having 5/6 of open space vertically left isn't exactly comfortable. The feeling of liquid touching the Cybertronian equivalent of toes doesn't ease any sort of fear either. Thankfully, his crafty tentacles finally unbolted the panel as Shift scrambles upward further into the shaft. 'That was absolutely very, very risky. I nearly died...again. Alas, I must follow the instructions provided towards the "access tunnel".'
