Ability Description:
Technopathy: Described as having " the mental connection and manipulation of known electronics and hardware", Shift can access most known electronic technology currently though his tentacles and bend its existence through his will. However, due to his lack of experience and development of all his abilities, Shift can only access basic Cybertronian tech (operating a Groundbridge or filtering through an non-password lock database, for instance) and/or Earth tech of intermediate complexity.
Adaptivity: Currently inactive and incomplete, Shift's main purpose as a potential living weapon for war was the ability to adapt to a variety of conditions through his sensory systems and unique armor and frame composition. In theory, he would have the ability to change the molecular structure of his body to "shift" his density and shape his body (not to mimic the appearance of others, but his limbs, for instance, into makeshift weapons). This would be accomplished usually through the absorption of nearby metals. However, it's vulnerable to malfunction based of Shift's existing weaknesses such as Energon and EMPs.
Sensory Systems: An ability that is always active and Shift has no potential control over, even when he's in stasis. Acting as an extra view of vision within a 15 foot radius, Shift mostly use this as a way of scanning, recording, and analyzing most of the properties that surround him as a means of quick observation.
This is limited when it comes to applying labels and terms to scanned properties that haven't been identified or applied to similar terms previously scanned beforehand. (For instance, if Shift scans a Cybertronian, he would most likely be able to do a basic quick scan of the said mech's outer and internal functions and markings (unless the mech/femme has any ability, within an area or device that prevent this) expect the processor (that requires tentacles
Holo-Constructs: Able to generate and manipulate a small portion of light, Shift can use it to create small, translucent fragile 3D texts, displays and models. Vulnerable to Shift's known weaknesses.

Primary Weapon: Soundwave Emitters
Description: Shift's primary weapon are his Soundwave Emitters that shoot out from his converted servos. The soundwaves produced from his palms, reaching to about 130 dB, can push back the opponent (depending on how long the charge was from emitters) and damage them. If they're charged for more than 5-10 minutes, they can produce a devastating shockwave attack. This weapon works best at a short range.

Melee : Robotic Tentacles
Melee Weapon Description: Shift’s robotic tentacles are one of the different ways he can access his technopath abilities. The tentacles extend from his back and can roam around freely, searching for anything technological that it can interact with. The tentacles can inject themselves into said technological object (and possibly beings) to download information from them and/or inject information or viruses. For the most part, Shift has control over his tentacles although they do have a tendency to possess a mind of their own. Shift’s tentacles can also be used as restraints.

OTHER
Personality: Shift is one of those mechs who acts both in and out of his "young" age. Being extremely passive and one of the nicest Autobots around, Shift appreciates being around Autobots and assisting them whenever he gets the chance to. He tends to do some actions that maybe be considered immature (ex: acting very giddy and getting side-tracked by small wildlife for observation), but he doesn't intentionally act this way to annoy others intentionally. Rather, his nativity and mostly optimistic attitude on life occasionally overpowers some of his decision making.
Due to one of his primary functions of storing and utilizing information in situations, Shift has gained a child-like interest and enthusiasm in learning about EVERYTHING in the world around him, especially technology and various types of sciences. Through his interaction with technology and data-collecting, Shift can show his more "mature" side with recalling and analyzing data and building tech.
While Shift does display a mostly positive attitude, he does have some tendencies of having self-doubt and other possible negative emotions due to his unfinished programming or "glitches". He doesn't want to disappoint anyone with his performance as it presents himself as useless and expandable in his mind. Therefore, he strives to make himself seem perfectly fit for the task he's assigned to, even if it's quite dangerously out of his league.

Knowing that there are scenarios that require vast willpower to overcome that he'll placed into eventually (massive impromptu battles or solving complex problems), Shift attempts to use his optimistic personality to remain in control by himself. Though, he feels much more comfortable with others behind his back at all times.
Charismaa :8
Due to his naive and optimistic behavior, Shift can be considered one of the nicest Autobots you'll find walking about the Base and the occasional battlefield. He's always willing to talk, listen to, and help others as well as obey their every commands. He can produce some quirky moments, albeit unintentional (his understanding of the basic in and outs of humor is under development) which may amuse others. These traits, however, can produce the opposite reactions on some of the more "harden bots" that can easily annoy them.

Strengths :
- Shift's almost prodigal understanding and interaction with technology and the sciences makes him very valuable in technical-focused situations.
- Shift is very loyal to the Autobot cause and is very much a busybody when it comes to assisting others.
- Shift's friendly and obedient personality makes him very approachable and easy to work with.
- Shift's smaller frame makes him very agile against slower Cybertronians and fit into "Bumblebee-size" spaces.
Weaknesses :
- Energon: Yes, the most common resource for all Cybertronians can be considered toxic to Shift's systems (due to him technically being considered "incomplete" along with his adaptation protocol and other niffy features). Whether it's raw or processed, plentiful amounts of direct contact with Energon on his outer shell (if his shielding isn't up) within a 5-minute time frame can create synonyms of nausea and vertigo similar to that of Tox-En in Shift. Consumption greatly increases theses effects and possibly cause internal damage. In the event that he must use or consume it, the Energon must be diluted greatly before intake. As an alternative, he can safely digest oil, pure water, or any non-Energon sustainable liquids.
- Combat Un-savvy: Oh sure, you can bring Shift along into the battlefield for certain situations (in fact, he would love to do some exploring and research anytime he's outside). Just don't place him on the front-lines unless you're REALLY desperate. Shift rarely uses his ONLY installed weapon and abilities on enemies other than to restraint or mildly hinder them, seeing as he doesn't have to the spark to kill. Additionally, his hand-to-hand combat knowledge is very low; the most he could provide in that department is an improperly set-up jab in the knees.
- Naive: Shift is constantly learning, so there are some life lessons or street-smarts that maybe not in his databases (like not trusting filthy Decepticons giving out free sources of knowledge if you jump in their flying ship). Under the manipulation of master tricksters, Shift can unintentionally reveal vital information or perform actions that may hamper his allies and advance the goals of his enemies.
-You've Got Hacked: Shift's technopathic abilities does have its unfortunate complications involving technical difficulties, besides the usual EMP pulses. Accidental downloads of viruses can disrupt his processor and chassis, potentially causing him to go into a forced stasis slumber to attempt to expunge the issue. Additionally, encounters with skilled hackers can place Shift in a dangerous position where his stored data can be tampered with or temporarily be controlled remotely.

What is this place? What are these sounds? This surface contains so many interesting properties. Why? These were some of the many questions racing through the processors of mostly white and grey Autobot, wandering about the grassy and mushy surface of the soil on all fours like a bipedal animal. At least, the translation of what his thoughts would have been like in English vowels and consonants. In reality, such information would have been in binary code and some of limited stored Cybertronian dialect and information the small mech had in his noggin. Everything around him kept feeding him question and after question with no end in sight. Instinctively and aimlessly, the young mech galloped away from the position of where his pod was stationed prematurely, trying to find the source and answers to all of these new questions. However, no matter where he scampered off to, new topics would suddenly---
SMACK!
One of the tall brown structures with the green vegetation placed on top revealed itself in the path of the mech's frantic dash and shoved him into the mushy, dirty surface. Slightly dazed, the young mech jumps on his two pedals and stumps away into another tree. This time, his servos managed to touch the wooden surface and his pistons eased his body into the collision more softly. This temporary pause would only provide more time for the confused mech to scan and search the area more thoroughly. Ironically, despite his drastic and frantic antics towards his new surroundings, the mech was also very intrigued by them. He had never seen such..."interesting" sights before. In fact, this was his first time seeing anything!
