OOC: The plans made and the location of territories was based on the Warzone map I made awhile ago and can be found in 'Cybertron War Redux [W.I.P]' within Plot/Roleplay Suggestions.
"For now you are needed here to stamp down on any signs of desertion within this city, given time and your range of operations shall be extended accordingly as we rebuild. If you find a target on your list that you can make an example of do so, though I would prefer it be done so quick we have little time for displays." Ailnoth said, giving Tarn his duties for the future before his optics flickered to the door where Kick-start had left only a little while ago.
In truth he'd considered letting her disrespect slide with the knowledge she was a talented scientist who might be useful in the upcoming months. Now having listened to Tarn and his own opinions, the new commander was forced to accept that his powerbase although not desolate was significantly weaker than the campaigns he'd held on other planets. Such an action as outright disagreement had only weakened his stance and even if the DJD was to begin countering some of their forces disloyalty he himself couldn't let such slights pass.
Kick-Start would have to be bent to his will, or outright eliminated sometime soon.
That however would have to wait, since Ailnoth currently had more important matters to deal with. Including the civil war that was about to erupt again all over Cybertron, which his forces where only now beginning to scramble into position for. In turn leaving Ailnoth's next few moves critical to their growth.
"Past what I have already stated about the rebuilding of Kaon and Backbeat's forces hindering the Autobot's growth there is significantly more to be done. The first is establishing outposts in our neighboring cities and progressing as far as we can towards Iacon without expending our resources or stretching too far."
As he spoke this time Ailnoth began to move to the center of the room where a holotable was, having been unused during the meeting but still active once energy had been applied to the building. Once within hands reach of the tool he leaned down and reactivated it, causing the devices main projector to stutter into operation before he began transmitting tactical data to the machine.
"With our current forces our best maneuver is to capture the Hydrax Plateau and create a frontline past it, roughly around the Nyon and Petrex area. If successful we'll hold the largest port on the planet and be able to reinforce our supply lines as we begin to push the Autobot lines. Even then The Nemesis will be required for this along with an expansion force if we're to do so in reasonable time which will leave this city rather poorly defended until our own defenses are up. Alongside your suppression of any internal threats there shall likely be more than one Autobot scouting party to deal with till suitable fortifications are in place. I'm sure your aware critical losses here in our homebase cannot be sustained."
With that statement made, Ailnoth pointed to the south eastern portion of the map rather than the center where the Hydrax Plateau and the surrounding territories where.
"While our main forces while be dedicated to the Hydrax Plateau other forces will be deployed to both here and the northern hemisphere. Once out of Kaon our forces while have to cut through the badlands, it's not a productive area for us but the land is a tactical chokepoint and easily defendable against ground forces once we're dug in. After that we'll split our forces between Tagan Heights and the former Neutral Zone. Done properly we'll be able to move a small portion of our troops into Tyrest to create a defensive line while the main force strikes Uraya. Backbeat's forces should have delayed the Autobot's for long enough they won't already be there, otherwise we'll need to defeat their forces and destroy the hyperlane leading towards Iacon."
This time he pointed towards the northern hemisphere, trailing his finger west before heading upwards near the manganese mountains.
"If we're quick enough, we should be able to use a similarly sized force to progress through the rest of the original Decepticon states until we reach Triax, they should possess some comm towers which will improve our operations across the planet. Once there we can send off a minor squad to see if Fort Syck is still functionable and if not if it's recoverable. Otherwise the rest of our forces will head north with a priority on setting up AA defenses, as the Manganese mountains should significantly delay a ground expedition. From there we push to Praxus and set up a defensive fortification with the majority of our forces. The rest will continue onto Nova Cronum expecting resistance and try to create a suitable defense until Praxus is established and we can continue with the primary force." He told, Tarn before turning the machine off and looking back at his fellow Decepticon.
"Does that clarify our position for you?"

It had gone months since the last report, and by Primus, had it been a long time. Kaon was on its way to being rebuilt, reinforcements had arrived, and deserters had tried to leave. None of them made it, he had made sure of that personally. His blade had tasted a lot of energon, enough to satisfy a smaller family for long. Remorse was overrated, efficiency was the important part. He hadn't been far outside of Kaon, mostly because his orders were to stay but also because no opportunity to hunt a target on The List had presented itself. There had been one encounter, one single time he had left Kaon and that was to clean up what others couldn't. There had been a smaller fight, a minor inconvenience. Tarn hadn't been happy about it.
He was standing atop a smaller pile of rubble in the centre of Kaon, his dark frame as a contrast to the light from the nearby star. He was watching for something, or maybe someone. It wasn't really clear, as he was completely silent. The army was mobilizing around him, they all had gotten word of the upcoming attack. He was going to be part of it too, for once leaving Kaon. It was a shame that he was alone in the DJD, he could use someone else to help him hunt. He was fully stocked on his energon refillers, to make sure that he'd last in battle. It would be a shame if he entered and then couldn't fight because of too low energon levels. Had happened before, would not happen again.
He stood there for another moment before starting to move, making sure not to touch anyone as he passed. He was towering above the surrounding cons, making him very notable for anyone that might be watching. Blending in was not an option. It was rather empty with important decepticons around here, they were probably busy, perhaps on the frontlines even. Oh well, he would see them soon enough. He made his way through the busy streets, heading towards the landing platform. "It is time, get ready autobots, we are coming for you."

All around Kaon, vehicons readying dropships and finalizing armaments. Groups of them huddled together as weapons and ammo are handed out. Wandering among the groups is Backbeat and NeVor. Backbeat looking over each group critically as NeVor marks away on her data pad. Backbeat stops and looks quizzically at somthing quite odd. NeVor contines walking ingrossed in her datapad, Backbeat grabs her shoulder and turns her to face what appears to be a group of vehicons engaged in a fist fight, with a group of vehicons surrounding them an watching. Backbeat looks at NeVor with amusement.
" Should we break it up? "
' Scare the crap out of them... Something good... '
" I've got just the spell. "
With a wave of her hand, NeVor creates a large figure behind the engrossed crowd. The Audinece look behind them and run in terror as a very large and angry Megatron appears. As the group disperses Backbeat and NeVor share chuckle and continue on their way.
Later, the two walk into the same area of the city as Tarn was. Most Decepticons would avoid the current leader of the DJD, most save for the most loyal, insane, or both. Backbeat and NeVor walk towards the large dispenser of fatal justice. NeVor puts her datatapad away and crosses her arms.
' Tarn... How goes the hunting? '
" Still hunting alone? "

Upon hearing his name, Tarn slowly turned to face the newcomers. Backbeat and NeVor, an interesting couple and decepticons you needed to watch out for. Not the most trustworthy, but they kept in line enough to be kept off of The List. He nodded slightly at their remarks about his hunting, he replied with only factual statements. The hunting goes as it goes, a target appears and later.. he dies. Yes, I am still hunting alone although I expect full cooperation from the decepticon forces in finding the traitor. Why?" There was something curious in his tone as he looked at the smaller cons from within his mask. What was it that they wanted?
He kept on walking, if they wanted to talk to him they just had to keep up. "Anything else you wanted?" He asked while focusing on the path ahead of them, the path to the landing pad. His ship would be waiting there. It wasn't anything big or fancy, yet. It was a glorified dropship, only there to transport him from place to place. One day he'd get an upgrade, a larger ship. He knew what he had been promised and he intended to lay claim to what was his. The autobots couldn't stop him, nobody could.
He approached the area, making his way through the crowd. Whenever someone touched him, they fell to the ground in agony, but that wasn't of any concern to him. Soon they learned that they shouldn't touch him, and made an opening for him to pass through. He didn't intend for them to get hurt, it was just a byproduct of who he was. He decided to check The List again, and it flashed up on his HUD, but nothing new. Gah, where were they hiding? He knew of three, but there were certainly more. This annoyed him, but woud not deter him. He would find them, eventually.

Backbeat chuckles as he and NeVor keep pace.
' Actually... We have a little request... But first, we have something you may find fascinating... '
Backbeat rubs his hands together. He snaps his fingers while pointing a head of them, creating a glowing green warp that soon two vehicons step through. The toss a third out on to the street before returning. As the Vehicon struggles to get up, NeVor waves her hand over him, chains soon materialize around the unfortunate soul. NeVor raises her hand into the air, pulling the now chained vehicon to his feet.
" My uncle once taught me that sacrifices must be made to deal with demons. This one we caught trying to sell classified information. "
Backbeat folds his arms at his chest.
' Normally I prefer to deal with these matters internally... And aside from him, we murdered everyone else even remotely involved... But I need your assistance with a current scheme of mine... '

Tarn watched as Backbeat summoned his portal and brought out the supposed traitor. He was going to ask on what grounds this vehicon was arrested and how they could prove it, but that wasn't necessary. It was obvious that this vehicon had done something wrong, but if it was selling classified information, that remained to be seen. He approached the decepticon and with one fell swoop he allowed the head to move freely from the body. They wouldn't have to worry about him anymore. "A request you say? I'm not sure what I could do for you right now. You should be preparing for the impending assault, you know it will take place soon. However I shall listen, so speak up, Backbeat." He didn't turn around to look back at the two cons, instead he continued forwards, past the dead body. This was a delay from what was important.
This was when he received a signal and he stopped in his tracks. What had that been? The scanner gave a match from another known signal, and his optics lit up. A target had arrived. There was no time to waste now, he had to trace that signal. He put the scanner on doing that while speeding up towards his ship, now at a much faster pace than before. "On a second thought, I think your offer will have to wait. A target has shown itself and that takes priority. I will see you later, in the attack. If I don't, you know what happens." The large mech did not care for what the other mech thought of this, it was not of any importance. What was of importance was that the target couldn't escape and that it should be killed.
He reached his ship and entered it, closing the door behind him so that nobody could follow him inside. He didn't need anyone nosing about. If he got to take care of himself, everything would be fine. The singal was almost finished tracing, something which glad him. He began to fire up the engines, feeling the whole ship shake as it rose up into the sky and shifted into flight mode instead of landing mode. Ah, there it was. He had a lock on the target. He smiled behind his mask as he set course for where the target was. This shouldn't take too long. He picked up a cube from the control board and injected it into his arm to refuel, feeling the energon return to him. He need to be at full strength for this.

Soundwave watched silently as the ships came and went. To some it would seem chaotic, hundreds of different schedules and protocols all having to synchronize perfectly, or nothing could ever get done. Of course, he wasn't some people. Everything was meticulously calculated, and he was right at the center of it. Patched into the main communication lines, he heard everything, he knew where it needed to be. And if something wasn't working properly, he knew who to blame.
Having this level of control after so long spent making due with jury rigged com panels and spotty connections was, in a way only Soundwave could really comprehend, refreshing. He wasn't power hungry, he wasn't leading anything, but everything was organized, things worked the way they were meant to.
He turned away from the view, not wanting anyone down there to get even the slightest notion that he wanted to be involved in whatever trouble they were surely about to cause, and brought his attention to his computer console, listening to the various com channels and hidden microphones, trying to see if anything noteworthy needed his attention.

Backbeat waves as Tarn leaves.
' Of course... We do have performances to practice and lines to learn for opening night... '
NeVor imminently digs into the fresh corpse. She clearly enjoyed her latest meal, as energon drips from her mouth. She kneels down, tearing into the dead vehicon like a hungry animal. Backbeat taps her shoulder as she finishes her meal. NeVor rises to her feet.
" I do love it when the meal is still warm. My complements to the chef. "
Backbeat nods playfully.
' Quite... And I assume you've got the report ready for that dreary dark knight? '
NeVor gives him a thumbs up. Backbeat opens a warp in front of them.
' Right, let's go have a little chat with out boss... '
The walk through, the warp closing behind them.

The ship that Tarn had taken now came back to Kaon, coiming in hot towards the landing pad. It wasn't looking all that pretty, multiple scars from debris and rust as it had been in the Sea of Rust for quite some time. On the inside there was no problem at all however, as Tarn sat behind the controls, relaxing for once. No new target had appeared on the scanners, so he was "free". There was no such thing as being free when you were him, but at least he wasn't out hunting. The previous hunt had been a success, a few autobots damaged and the traitor dead along with even more autobots. What a weak bunch, he could take on all of them himself. Those weren't even all rookies, two of them had been high ranking autobots. They were in worse shape than he could have hoped.
The ship slowed down as it landed on the platform, changing into landing and takeoff mode. Once down on the ground, the doors opened and the leader of the DJD steped out, quickly making his way towards the centre of Kaon, towards Darkmount. "I want a report on what resources we have as quickly as possible. Get everyone ready for the assault." Tarn said to a vehicon standing nearby, and the vehicon had no choice but to do as ordered or face execution. He wouldn't stay there and wait however, he'd get the reports sooner or later. He briefly touched his visor with his servo, where the bullet had hit. He would have to replace the entire section, a fact that wasn't optimal for him. It took valuable time, time he could be using to plan or perhaps even kill autobots.
This assault could go easier than expected. A lot of bots were injured or busy back where he had been, unless they had gotten repaired by now. This meant they had to act quickly, before things got back to normal for them. He realized that he had to hurry, prompting him to transform and blast off towards Darkmount at a much higher speed than before. Tarn had no problems navigating the city and when he reached the desired location he shifted back to his bipedal mode. Nobody would stop him from going in and out as he pleased, he wasn't a factor of fear for nothing. His energon-covered blade helped secure that title, he wasn't afraid of using it, just like he had on those autobots. With no further delays other than to stop and instruct a vehicon where to forward the information, he moved inside, to find the rest of the decpticon command.

Skystreak sat in orbit in jet mode, deciding to how advance. He had settled on going to Kaon, as he needed Energon badly and wasn't in the condition to fight. Kaon was his best option. Repositioning in orbit so he had a straight shot, he aimed at the planet and used his sonic boom ability so he didn't linger in atmosphere for long. He didn't know what airspace he was flying into, so it was his best bet to hustle. He easily accelerated in atmosphere, allowing less time for someone to notice.
He noticed lots of activity on the ground, dropships and other kinds of military craft hovered around as infantry moved about. He angered further down and away, so he flew off the staging ground and was upside down. He then turn and flipped to he flew parallel to the planet, easing his engines to lessen his momentum. He still declined in altitude, starting to pass by tall buildings. The only reason why he hadn't gotten shot at at this point was his Decepticon signal. As he got close to the ground, he leveled out and flew directly at the military base. As soon as he got within range, he transformed and leaned his body backwards so he continued to fly feet first. Using the engines in his feet, he continued to break his momentum. He then dropped onto the ground and slid to a halt in front of many soldiers who had taken notice of him.
Landing with a boom, he slid on his feet to a screeching halt, sparks flying behind him because of the friction generated. He balanced his body so he didn't careen over and fall on his face. As soon as he was done, it seemed like the entire regiment of Decepticons had stopped to stare at him. He had a Seeker form similar to that of Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, along with many soldiers early in the first civil war of the Cybertronians. Standing upright, he began to walk forward, a sinister smile on his face. He liked the attention.
“I’m back baby! Now if any one of you could get me some Energon, that would be lovely.” He knew an officer or something would show up to question him, but that didn't seem to matter. He had returned and could finally finish the Autbots. He took note in the changes the troops had since his last time with the army. Nothing great, but it was still noticeable. He continued to walk forward towards the center of it all.
“Well? Anyone going to move, or was my performance figuratively and literally stunning?”

BuildUp was on the way out to check the fortifications again and what progress was being made on them since the last time he had been there. He saw a ship arrive, scarred and marred by what appeared to be rust. He did not need to guess to know where the ship had been. The rusty flakes even now still clung to some of its frame. There was the big bad. Tarn. The fear of those who did not fight for the decepticon cause or had thoughts of betrayal on mind. BuildUp however was not one of them. He was loyal to their leader and aspired only to do as was expected of him, fulfil his duty and continue living.
His attention was diverted from the ship towards a hotshot, a flier apparently, who wished to make a mark on the floor with the damage that his frame might sustain by such sliding and screeching. He wondered how soon he would need BackTrack to see those feet and the delicate turbine flaps at the back, that could bend and get stuck. He was amused at the thought of hearing his friend groan and mutter and berate the jet on what he was supposed to do and not do. Endearing almost.
The reason why he showed no concern at the sudden arrival was the fact that the decepticon signal had been tracked and thus the jet was known as not the enemy but one of their own returning home. He did not recognise this particular one, but the frame was similar to the standard fighter jets. "I don't think they will break line and upset their officers to become your errand bots, Jet." He spoke, his voice carrying that lazy amusement of before. He glanced down at the 28feet tall flier and smiled.
"You could however come in and put in a request for a refuel." Generally, he really could have just gone and fetched it, but he was not going to tell him that just yet. "Then perhaps, if the lord so decides, you will be granted a small portion, and if not, there's always more 'paperwork' to fill out. You have got time, haven't you?" The tank bot was anything but stealthy as he walked, but there was a calm about him, which did not fully match with his 'battle ready' exterior.

The flier noticed a tank of a soldier approach him. He didn't recognize the mech, but that didn't matter.
"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for not knowing who I am. I have been gone for who knows how long and spent a very long time tracking you guys down. Those lackeys who don't want to infuriate their officers may not realize that they are looking at the Decepticon's best interceptor." He stuck a thumb up, gesturing to himself. He spoke through the smirk that hadn't dropped from his face, even in front of such a large machine.
"If anything, I am a priority. Unless you want to stay in this stalemate with the Autobots, I would suggest replenishing my supplies. I alone can disrupt a Bot frontline, my speed unrivaled in the sky. I cannot do that unless I have Energon. And paperwork is a serious waste of an asset if you plan to shove some on me. I'm a field Con, not some backline personnel." He put his hands on his hips as he looked around. No doubt they were planning an assault. His timing couldn't be better. His eyes then settled back on the tank in front of him. After his Energon, the next thing he would need is to get back in touch with command. He was sure Build Up wasn't a commander. The soldiers around them weren't showing him the respect they would of a leader. He figured he would find out soon enough.

"Oh. You are one of those." His amusement seemed only more pronounced, although there was traces of boredom in the expression as well. "The sort that believe they are Primus's greatest gift to existence." His smile was pleasant, but it was far from impressed with the bragging that he was hearing now. He had all heard it before. Most common in fliers no less. "One would think that you would have tracked us down sooner, if you were indeed that great. What took you so long?" He arched an optic ridge, looking at the jet sceptically.
"Your lack of respect towards the so called 'lackeys', the brave soldiers to our cause, fits the stereotype quite well." He folded his arms over his chassis, not moving from the spot, nor making any indication to the others, smaller vehicons and decepticons that they should drop at the jet's pedes and worship him as their saviour. He just waited for the jet frame to finish while evaluating the quality of his frame design, his armuor, armament to keep himself entertained.
"You alone believe that you can do that? Amazing." The tone at which he said the last sentence was anything but in awe. It took him a while to stop laughing, the sound cheerful at least. When he settled and calmed down he spoke again, a pleasant smile still tugging at his lip plating.
"I can see from where I stand that your endurance is subpar. One shot from this here." He patted his own cannon with one large hand. "And there would be little left of you to piece back together. Your armour is flimsy at best, far too thin to take a beating, light, as is expected of a flight frame. Just look at the weapons you carry? Some might do no more than feel like an irritable sting to our enemies. You mean to defeat them with your mouthplates?"
He paused to allow all of that to sing in before he continued. "You may be fast but I doubt that you are the fastest in the sky. I have heard that claim so often that if I had a shanix for each time a flier bragged about being it, I'd have been a rich Con."
He reached down to pat the flier on the helm like he was patting a pet, but careful not to accidentally crush him in the process.
"And I would suggest you work some on your landing. You don't want to damage your turbines or you'll do a lot more walking. If I were you I would get them checked now. Just in case you don't blow one up while flying in a straight line."
He tilted his helm a bit. "So, now that we have this out of the way. Shall we start again. You may use please, thank you, and would someone be so kind as to... yeah? Now start."

"Oh don't get me started about how you guys love to zigzag across the universe to all the useless planets. Nebulon? Archon?! Are you serious?! And Earth of all places! Then I figure out that everyone went back home! It is like you guys are incapable at sitting still! But I digress. I worked hard to make sure I conserved Energon. I made sure I didn't get lost in space. Surely an experience you do not have." For a second Skystreak thought he might lose himself in the expression of his frustration of this travels. It wasn't very pleasant to track down the war.
After the small rant, he looked at the amused mech as he went about trying to tear down his confidence. This got his mind working, for if this soldier didn't know who he was, for sure the Autobots wouldn't know about him either. And that was enough to fulfill his fantasies.
"Listen here, my 2 dimensional moving friend, for you really don't know who you are talking to. Primus never engineered me the way I am. I was weak when I came out. But I have received upgrades that makes me the king of the sky. Do you want to know why I am called Skystreak ? It is because if you even try to look at me as I fly, all you will see is jet trails across the sky. I can break the sound barrier within a nanosecond. How many seekers do you know who can do that? Sure, after a start up and some time, but I need no warmup to do it. In fact, I can outfly missiles. You don't need armor if your opponent can't even process where you are. One second I am on the horizon, the next I am on the opposite side of the planet. I can hit you wherever and whenever from any angle as I choose. And about that landing." He didn't raise his voice in amusement or try any mocking action. Instead, he put his arms out like he was praising the gods.
"I have upgraded myself so that I can perform that maneuver whenever I want, considering that that is how I land. But you wouldn't understand that." He cocked his head to the side as he spoke.
"And as for weapons, I know for a fact paralysis is scarier than death. When you realize that you cannot control your own body, you panic as that means I can do whatever I want to you. This is even more shocking to those who believe power and damage are more important than speed and movement. Damage is the measurement of harm capable , not of harm that happens. If you don't hit your opponent, that measured damage doesn't go anywhere. A punch thrown is not a punch landed. The ability to transport yourself faster than your opponent means victory, as a fight is a race to get as much harm to your opponent before they harm you." He turned around to look at everyone still starring. He figured he would have to find Energon himself, which was okay by him. He just figured he would ask someone to do the work for him so they could get it right.

"You poor dear." He wiped an imaginary fluid from beneath his optic. "It must have been so distressful to you. How could you ever have made it through." His words and his tone were at odds with each other, while one appeared as if he actually cared about the terrible story that he was listening to, the other clearly showed that he had not even a smidgen of pity and he was just humouring the bot by continuing the conversation at all.
He chuckled. "Hey, lads." This was addressed to some of the vehicons near by. "Did you hear? He believes himself to be the only jet that has ever been upgraded. BackTrack will love hearing this." His smile did not waver as he continued to listen to the preening and the attempted flexing of metal the Decepticon jet was doing. Ok, fine, he was getting a few good laughs out of it.
"Here I thought that you were called Skystreak, because you've been streaking oil all over the place." His attention was briefly shifted to something that was actually important. The defence systems were being upgraded. Then it was back to the jet, with a short exvent of someone who was hoping the other might finish. "Be careful that you don't dislocate a landing gear patting yourself on the back like that.... If you fly too fast, you can't fire. Did you think about that? You'd literally smash right into your shots. So, no, you either go too fast, or you fight. It is clear you have not tried to do the latter, or you would have known."
He studied the blunt tips of his digits boredly. ".. So you land like a rookie, because you mean to? That's kind of....sad." He rolled his optics when the jet concluded how he assumed that all would panic if they could not move for a little while. "We are at war. Did you forget? Oh wait, you've avoided it till now. Well, let me catch you up on what war is like. Paralysis is not the scariest of things that can happen to a bot. War has made us fear very little and be disgusted or affected by even less. You see, bots get melted down, get shot to pieces, with perhaps nought but their torso and head left, if they are lucky. You may consider your party tricks impressive... but they are child's play. Flying as fast as you do is excellent for cowards as they need to get away fastest." He smiled, and his tone was almost patronising.
"Child. Learn some manners before it is too late, and learn humility. Perhaps it will let you survive the war, perhaps it's too late for you already." He shrugged and turned to walk towards where vehicons were working on lifting one of the heavier walls into position. He got bored.

"I fought alongside Megatron. Humility is not something that is allowed. If such a thing were to of value to a Decepticon, then this side of the war truly has fallen. No wonder this stalemate has gone on for so long. It seems all the stronger and smarter mechs all lie in the battlefield. I am not some dull witted, green recruit you bitbrain. Do you not think I know about war? I've seen battle and fought off Autobots that roll with Optimus Prime, killing many in my path. You really must be a piston head to even try to tell me how combat at high speeds works. Have you even broke triple digits in speed? Keep your pathetic mockery to yourself. I'm going to go get Energon myself and show you why my kill count is higher than your IQ, assuming you have one of note." His eyes narrowed at the Con who tried to lecture him of all seekers on combat. Especially at high speeds. It isn't like he was unable to find Energon. He would even go to the Energon refinery on planet if he had to.
He wasn't angry, but rather amazed that such a malfunction could exist in the ranks of the Decepticons. He might as well get in touch with command so he could get back in the swing of things. He didn't particularly care for lower level mechs.
"I didn't fight in the war just to get stuck dealing with such scrap. I should let command know to up their standards."

"You and so many others. Megatron expected results, not bragging and mouthing off. The insolent would have been eliminated." What had earlier been entertaining was bordering on boring to him now. He was more and more convinced that this jet might have been eager to tell tall stories in hopes that many would believe him, but that his bark was much bigger than his bite. And ah the insults, a true show of a mind that was not as intelligent as its owner wished it to be. He could roll his optics at them. They weren't even all that imaginative.
"You're adorable." He chuckled. "You huff and puff and hope to be noticed." He shook his helm scanning the section that was worked. He commed the team of vehicons with the adaptations and corrections needed on the current setting. The flier was still there, wasn't he? Oh well.
" It is amusing to see you do all that while you don't even know that at your top speed you cannot achieve the feat you brag about doing." He exvented, his tone pitying although whether he really felt sorry for the other, or he was just putting on a show was not clear. He wasn't much bothered by him though.
"I'm a tank. I don't need to go fast. My speed is relative to the weight and mass that I possess. Still, you can shoot your little missiles at me, or your tiny zappers, and I'll just wait it out, because, unlike your frame, mine won't care for a bit of light fireworks."
He shrugged. "I'm just an engineer of course. What would I know about laws of physics, advanced mathemaics, building fortifications, the challenges of construction of advanced technologies, structural analysis, explosives etc. Probably nothing, right?" His smile returned, though he kept focusing on the actual important task at hand.
"At least I know how to get energon myself and not whine like a little child, stomp my pedes and demand that I be served. You earn respect, flightling. You don't get it just because you've told the best story. You are full of air, be careful that you don't burst, or someone bursts you because they may have less patience than I do. Now, be on your way. Flightling. Don't get lost. You should be capable of doing that, yes?"
He would have wondered how soon this one would die or end on BackTrack's table to be repaired if he cared to spend time on things that did not matter. But he didn't.

"Oh, is that so? Megatron eliminated those who bragged? You know propoganda is not the best way to learn things. I bet the propoganda proposes Starscream as humble and modest? Or is he not there at all? For someone who thinks he's smart, you give yourself too much credit. First you lecture me on high speed combat, even though you have never experienced such a thing, and now you try to tell me what fighting with Megatron is like? What is your malfunction? You are such a sad attempt at trying to be something you aren't. Now while I would love to stay and chat, I got a Energon pick-me-up to retrieve." He didn't stay for the rest of the awful attempts to thrash him. He knew at this point, staying and trading insults would waste time he could be using to destroy Autobots.
He went on his way to find command. There were things he needed to get right before he set back out once again. While he walked off, he ignored what the other 'Con had to say. He no longer cared for the words that he spouted. It wasn't as if they were true.

::Turn your audials on and start using your processor, flightling. Bragging without results was useless to Megatron as it is to our current leader. The sooner you learn that, the better.:: Was sent over the comm. He chuckled. It was amusing how riled up the flier had become, and how petty and daft he presented himself through out the conversation. The insults he attempted to give were a true sign of the insecurities the jet felt, probably about himself and his own skills, as was all the bragging. If he had been truly as great as he believed himself to be he would not have needed to brag, he'd have just shown it.
He was perhaps even more amused at how the jet had moved so quickly, as if to run away from the confrontation. Well, that suited him though. With the entertainment now over he was looking forward to some intelligent conversation that could be shared with BackTrack to make things right again and convince him that not all of the aerials had nought but emptyness in their helm.
He of course had done his work outside first, overseeing the construction for a while longer, detailing the changes and improvements. Later still he returned heading for the medbay in hopes to find his friend there. He truly hoped this had not been the sign that Decepticons had become lax and just let anybody back in. Or perhaps that was good. Cannon fodder was needed as well, bodies could be sacrificed for the greater good, their cause.
