Livewire could feel a helmache coming on, due to Starscream's inability to follow a simple order. Not only that, but it was blatantly clear to everyone that the former Air Commander respected Backbeat more than he did Livewire. He was about to reprimand Starscream, but Slapfoot had it covered for him, which he greatly appreciated. Had he been more expressive, he might have allowed himself to smirk. As it stood however, he just turned a blind optic to the hulking Vehicon lifting Starscream into the air. "Don't rough him up too much." Was all he said to Slapfoot, walking past them and over to Nevor. "Consider this your final warning." He murmured to the Seeker as he passed. He took the energon cube from Backbeat and inspected it, satisfied with its quality. He glanced over the holographic screen and nodded, crossing his arms. "This will do." He would have left it there, had he not heard the words 'theater'. "A theater. You thought it resourceful to convert a room, which could have been used for energon storage, into a theater for your own entertainment?" He narrowed his optics, unimpressed with Backbeat and NeVor. He would have to press the issue later, since they were making their own departure. As Soundwave made his way to the Faithless Looter, he stopped him for a moment. "Keep an optic on those two." He muttered. "Monitor their comms." After he relayed the command, he let Soundwave continue on his way. He walked into Pulsewave's shuttle, servos behind his back as he entered the makeshift medbay. "Status report on causalities?" Highwire quickly became disinterested in Bluewing throwing up in the corner. She was sure his precious Conjunx had it under control, anyway. No, something else caught her optic, or someone else. Someone climbing out of the heaping mess that had been the Victory. She grinned and ventured over there, standing over the much shorter Swindle with a hand on her hip."You look worse for wear." She noted, grabbing Swindle by the shoulder and roughly hauling him up to his pedes. "I'm surprised you survived the crash." She let out a low whistle, staring up at the Victory. Though destroyed as it was, it was still rather awe-inspiring. "Can ya walk, or do you need me to carry you?"(( Starscream , Slapfoot , Backbeat , Soundwave , Pulsewave , NotSwindle ))

Metal screamed and whined as the armoured shuttle finally slid to a stop. The transport barely looked recognizable after all the trials Twitch had put it through. A quick scan of the shuttle would determine it had four occupants, all of which seemed to be online. If not a little worse for wear.
A few minutes passed as the crew gained their bearings. Twitch, using his good arm, pushed himself out of the pilot's chair and turned so he could survey his half of sigma squad. He was greeted by glares and accusations of being psychotic. The mech glared at the trio from behind his visor whilst clutching the seat's head rest. "Well, this 'psychopath' is the reason why you are all still alive."
"Uh huh..." The paired trooper stood as well, one arm angled oddly as he challenged the pilot's glare.
Twitch suddenly went rigid as his HUD display lit up. "Everyone off the shuttle now!" One of the squad members attempted to use the rear door. The door didn't budge due to how badly the frame was crushed. Sigma squad then looked to the shuttle's shattered viewing window and then at Twitch.
Within seconds Twitch was lifted from his from his pedes and thrown at the window. Twitch, along with shards of glass, flew outside of the shuttle and landed without grace. Sigma squad followed after him in a more controlled fashion. They continued towards Kaon, not bothering to stop for Twitch or to watch as the shuttle exploded.
Picking himself off of the ground, Twitch cursed at the squad as they left. Bearing through the pain in his shoulder, he transformed into his alt mode and took off for Kaon as well. He would get himself patched up before attempting to locate his pet.

Once Whiteflier had assiste Bluewing with his motion sickness, and they were both helping put a group of Vehicons with repairs and stuff, not stopping to take a breather, the white mech noticed that he hadn't seen Compass, his ex-mission partner at all since they had landed.
"What is it, wingling?. You're drifting off..." "Compass. I haven't seen them?. Have you?" "Who's that again?" "The mech I was paired up with during our interrupted infiltration mission. We parted ways before you picked me up back there." "Well... I'll stay here helping out these V-cons. Why don't you go ahead and call them?. Just to check, we kinda need as many as possible 'round here". "...are you sure you are feeling alright?. No more nauseas?" "Naw, I'm fine." "Bluewing, I swear to Primus if you're just saying this so I don't worry..." "I'm FINE, Jeeeze White, stop it. I'm not a protoform, you know I hate it when you get all overprotective like this" "Ugh, look, I'm just concerned!, I don't want to..." "To what?, wingling?" "Nevermind... I'm gonna go over there and call Compass. See you later." He walked off before Bluewing could make anymore comments or complain. Sometimes he wished he didn't worry so much about his conjunx if the other couldn't appreciate it, or understand it. But he had been so scared to To loose him. However, it WAS just motion sickness.
Whiteflier walked off towards the back of one of the medibay shuttles and sat down with a sigh. ::Compass?, Compass this is KZZZ- this is Whiteflier. Where are you?! I haven't seen you in any of the shuttles so far and we're concerned!. Answer as soon as you get th-kzzzzz.-essage:: He was about to stand up and go back to Blue and the V-connies when he got an answer all of a sudden.
::Whiteflier, Compass here. I'm... I'm in Iacon.::
::What do you mean you're in Iacon??. What are you doing there?!::
::I'm getting some repairs done.:: A pause for the sentiment to sink in. :: By a... He's not an Autobot. They don't know I'm here. I had to take one of their escape pods.::
::So he's not an autobot. Is he a decepticon?. Who else is there with you?... are you heavily injured?.::
::No :: was the slow and measured response. ::His name is Weld. We're just outside Iacon's borders and heading to the Victory's crash site.::
::Contact me again if anything else happens. Im going to talk to the commander and ask if Blue and I can go scort you back. Be careful out there, okay?::
::Acknowledged. Compass out.::
The seeker assistant stood up quickly, rushing back towards Bluewing to give him the news.

Intrepid's shuttle descended over Kaon, maneuvering itself over a landing zone alongside other shuttles. Landing skids extended as the ship touched down, the suspension catching the ship and holding it up as it did so. The hatches opened up as the engines wound down, revealing Intrepid and a group of Vehicons that had joined him as they left The Victory. With the Vehicons in formation behind him, Intrepid stepped out into kaon, breathing in the air of the reborn planet. It felt good to be home once more, perhaps this time the war would not ravage his favorite locations. Turning to his Vehicons, who had moved themselves to a neat line to present themselves before him, he began to speak.
Vehicons, do not forget the bargain I have made for you. You are being given an opportunity to prove to me that your kind are worth more than simple fodder for Autobots to waste their energon reserves upon. You may not retreat, you may not cower, and most importantly, you may not show signs of weakness at any time. He spoke in a serious tone, his words cutting like thermo-energon blades through their sparks. One Vehicon lowered its helm worried that it may as well have stayed on The Victory if it was going to just die like this.
As I said, there must be no weakness shown, this is the bargain that decides whether you die or ascend. Intrepid's arm quickly struck, impaling the Vehicon through the spark chamber, killing it on the spot. The others dared not look to watch, and maintained their stiff posture, looking ahead. They understood now, no weakness shown to Autobots or Decepticons. Their lives would seem to be suicide missions from now on.
You are dismissed for now, but know that you have all been identified, and will be executed if you try to avoid any missions I send you on.
With that, the Intrepid and the Vehicons parted ways. Intrepid going to find something useful to himself, the Vehicons going to rest and prepare themselves for whatever they were going to be thrown into. This situation amused Intrepid, he found it rather pleasant to know they feared for their lives, and yet he wondered if any of them would survive. He doubted any of the ground bound ones would survive, they were so very common and fragile, his blade had gone effortlessly through one's armor. He also knew that war tended to bring surprises with it.

Slapfoot looked as Intrepid killed the vehicon. He waited. The second he left, Slapfoot moved to the body, and carved a symbol onto the dead soldier's forehead. He returned quickly to Pulsewave, and heard his question. Slapfoot was hunting for blood, and a quizzical thing happened during his hunt. He couldn't tell Pulsewave, of course. He was a soldier, and a vehicon. Instead, he drew something rather large out of his sub space. A little under half of Skyspray's back armor plating, and dropped it on the ground. Who it belonged to was obvious, since every Decepticon had seen Skyspray before. If Slapfoot wasn't wearing a mask, he might have spit on the torn metal.

Swindle grinned through the pain. "I can walk, thanks." Swindle said, looking up to the taller Highwire. "If it wasn't for Skywarp, I'd be a burned up corpse that fell from atmosphere." Swindle chuckled, glancing at his damaged servos. "Might as well give him a discount, huh?" Swindle coughed, glancing back to look at the husk of what was once the Victory. Pulsewave left Wreckage to rest on one of their medical berth slabs until the other regained conscioussness. He furrowed his optic ridges when to the question of where he had been, the only answer he had got from Slapfoot was a loud - CLANG- sound.
He turned around to look down at the piece of plating, and it took him a second... but he recognised it. He had known that Skyspray was on board the Victory, but not that Slapfoot had been anywhere near that monster. "By the shadow of the underbase, Slapfoot!. You were there??" The concern and worry were easily noted in his voice. Without much worry, Pulsewave embraced Slapfoot in a hug. "Im so glad you're alright..." However, jt was cut short as commander Livewire approached the pair, asking about the causalities. The decepticon medic was quick to let go of Slapfoot in order to report to their commander.. "Mostly injured, I have yet to confirm the number of deceased, but due to Skyspray's rampage and several explosions, we have lost a big amount of mainly Vehicons, but also MTO's. However, there have been close to zero casualties after the orders of evacuation. I'll be able to give a more accurate response later, after others have reported to me. We're counting with four medical teams of assistance besides Whiteflier and myself, and we've made two shuttles into mobile medibays until we have a more permanent base." The mech hesitated to continue, but he did. "If you... excuse my boldness, sir. I would like to suggest after everything has calmed down a bit and we're more organized, we could... have some sort of memorial, in honour of the dead?."

Thundercracker in his jet form flew over Kaon landing in one of his former labs where he worked with Shockwave years back. landing at the door it opening before him. "Welcome Thundercracker." Spoke the computer. He looks around the lab lifting his arm which turned on the lights. He would turn on an interface looking at his old plans. thundercracker got the transmission from Starscream "On my way." He shut everything off. Thundercracker flew to Starscream.

Wreckage's optics flickered on slowly. His vision was hazy and for several minutes he slipped in and out of consciousness before finally, fully awakening. He propped himself up with his normal arm. Something felt . . . off in the other one. He looked down and raised his cybrows at the sight. A Vehicon arm, about a foot smaller than his natural one, had been attatched to the stump. He guessed that the other arm had been completely obliterated in the battle and the ensuing crash. Wreckage smiled slightly, remembering the huge Autobot who had managed to defeat him. The fight had been extremely entertaining, although most likely Wreckage would never get to fight Skyspray again. Disappointing.
He felt around the top of his head for his helmet, and realized it was gone. This was a bit more disappointing. The helmet had looked good and protected his head. Now, his head just looked like a slightly bulkier version of Starscream's, something that Wreckage really didn't appreciate. On the other hand, though, the wounds in his chest had been patched up, which was nice, but the armor around his lower torso was still obliterated, leaving an extremely obvious hole.
Oh well. That was just how fighting worked.

Shadow-Strike's journey towards the makeshift medbay was rather quiet, with the group that had joined him on his mission having quickly separated to assist in other tasks, he'd been left alone as he headed for where the Decepticon commander was located. That wasn't to say the place was silent though as numerous Cybertronians failed to muffle their movement while remnants of the battle continued to produce sound including the injured and the wounded who became louder as the mech got closer. In a few seconds the noise was almost overwhelming as the assassin entered the medbay and was forced to lower his audio receptors before he found Livewire.
With his position in the battle having been noted, reaching the commander was surprisingly easy for the mercenary as he came to a stop only a few meters away. "It would appear that the rebellious sources you hired me to deal with have failed to make their move. Do you wish for me to deal with them now, or should I consider my contract finished?" Livewire didn't offer much reaction to the hug that ensued between Pulsewave and Slapfoot. He merely looked away for a brief moment, his optics scanning the room and looking over all their injured. He returned his attention to Pulsewave when the medic began speaking, nodding. "Mobile medbays, hmm? Resourceful." He commented, taking a datapad from his subspace and jotting down some notes on their current situation. His optics drifted up from the datapad he held, and he watched Pulsewave when he continued. He seemed to consider the proposal for a few seconds before tilting his helm back down, scribbling with the delicate stylus. "That might be good for morale. But you will have to organise it." He pondered how a memorial service might do with his faction, especially if the main causalities were Vehicons. Their faction was not the most... compassionate, at times. Most viewed Vehicons as mere cannon fodder. Still, he saw no reason to deny the request. He was drawn out of his thoughts when Shadow-Strike joined them, and he was rather pleased to see him."Backbeat has summoned Starscream to the Faithless Looter. I can't help but feel as if they are planning something." He narrowed his optics, their harsh yellow light brightening with his next command. "Execute the former Air Commander." "Well, you win some, you lose some." Highwire gave a nonchalant shrug and a helpless grin. She didn't seem too bothered by their supposed loss; in fact, in her opinion, they didn't do so bad. She didn't know too much about this kind of thing, but she could see that the Regenesis had been a bit more banged up than their Victory. She might have also been a bit partial to Livewire's command, considering it was his first big battle. "Skyspray sure did a number on our ship." She let out a low whistle. "But! Nothing to be done now." She flicked her wings upwards, patting Swindle on the helm playfully. She began walking towards the medbay, gesturing for Swindle to follow. "Let's find a medic before ya bleed out."(( Pulsewave , Shadowstrike , NotSwindle ))

"As you request, it shall be done." The assassin said, his voice resonating around the room as he spoke with that same haunting unnatural undercurrent that had been first heard on the bridge causing more than a few of the troopers in the room to shiver. With his statement made Shadow-Strike turned to leave, spinning on his heel towards the exit of the room and out of sight of Livewire as well as the other occupants of the room. Once alone he began to speed up as in moments he left the medbay in effortless strides that brought him towards the few remaining shuttles in the area.
From there acquiring a shuttle was an easy task, with so many Decepticons injured and stuck groundside the few shuttles they possessed where actually more than enough for the few mobile Cybertronians who had to use such transportation. In fact the only delay the mech received since leaving the medbay was a barely noticeable moment waiting for the ground crews to acknowledge his departure and avoid any retaliation against an unexpected take off. In that regard his journey towards the Faithless Looter was rather unspectacular.

Slapfoot returned the hug without hesitation, with a gratuitous pat on the back. Once Pulsewave finally released him, Slapfoot moved to sit down near Wreckage, peering close to the mech. In a swift motion, he tore the charm that he had placed around the warrior's neck and tied it back around his own. It was a blessing that he may live, not a gift. He did not know nor care if Wreckage had even noticed the charm. It mattered not. Now, with everything done, Slapfoot drew his hooks and began to clean them of the shards of Skyspray's armor.

Bluewing was glaring at Interpid, watching him kill a vehicon... stupid frag. That was a soldier there, disposable, but still. one of them could turn out the next Whiteflier, or the next big guy like the one that followed their little medic around. Scary fella, he took the corpse of the murdered vehicon.
"Blue, we have a problem" The seeker scout was glad to listen to the nickname, Whiteflier wasn't annoyed anymore, it seemed.
"Wassup, wingling?" He asked, arching an optic ridge.
"Compass landed in Iacon, had to take an alternative exit, more dangerous... he's with another mech, a neutral i think. But the autobots could find them anytime." "Did you forget Iacon is like... on the other side of the problem, or...?" "We still have to go, come on Blue. Let's inform the commander" "Eh... i don't think we can do much. Compass is pretty much a pri-" "He's not. Shut up" BLuewing didn't dare say anything else, fearing Whiteflier would get upset again. He didn't want him upset if they were to go on a mission together. They both walked up to the medibay...

Pulsewave agreed, accepting full responsibility about the possible memorial ceremony. He glanced at Slapfoot to make sure he was still around, it made him feel safer when he was.
He sighed, in need of some time off... he had walked out of the shuttle when he came across BLuewing and Whiteflier, who entered after acknowledging him with a nod of the head, and then he met HIghwire and Swindle.
"Oh. You need medical assistance" He knew he shouldn't have sounded so disappointed, but he really needed a rest. One more, he told himself, just... one more. He could handle one more mech, and he didn't have an option anyways.Highwire | Livewire@totallynotswindle

The sky above Kaon was relatively calm, except from the large spaceship. Then there was the small vessel coming in from the outskirts, flying just above the rooftops of the destroyed structures of the city. It was a black vessel, hard to spot from the ground unless you happened to see the fire from the engines. The sound the vessel made was still not too loud, being heard cleraly but not too far away from the actual thing. The flying vehicle had a distinct course, it could sense multiple decepticon signatures in the area, meaning this was where they were. It was time to land.
The flying craft angled down and headed towads the ground, hitting it hard and making dusted particles fly into the air. The vehicle didn't stop driving though, it kept going on the ground, thanks to the large tracks on the sides. It had a reasonable speed on the broken road, before the tank transformed. The black tank rose up, as the treads slid away and armor plates switched around and aligned to form the robot mode. It was as if a cloud of darkness shrouded him, one which you didn't want to go through. He was taller than most others, standing at an impressive 35ft. The most prominent features however were his face and his arm. The face had a very distinct look, to say the least and where his lower right arm should have been, a sword was situated instead. The sword reached down to just below his knee, with some runes inscripted on it. Not a language that anyone knew anymore.
The imposing mech scanned the area for a few moments, just staring at the structures before starting his walk. He didn't care about the vehicons around him, they were not important. He had his job to do, and that was only his own business. Others would not interfere with it, but he needed his team back. He could not work alone on this. It was time to start recruiting. His energon scanner showed activity in a nearby building, and in other places too. No reason to investigate, they did not have what he needed. He just kept strolling, until he found what he was looking for or anyone called out for him. He wasn't hard to miss, after all, he was the new Tarn.

Post by ShadowZone on Aug 24, 2017 16:32:02 GMT
(just posting this here as well it started in Kaon, but ShadowZone will progress from it in the direction of Iacon) He continued flying low to the ground, keeping out of sight as much as he could. His flight pattern was still badly affected by the wing that kept making him list off to the side. He had to keep correcting it too, unwilling to make the journey even longer than it was. He had calculated the shortest path towards his destination and assumed that it was there that he would find the rest of the Autobots. The commands sent by Vating had not reached him this far away from Iacon but he did not need them. He knew where he needed to go and if he was mistaken and there were no survivors there, only then would he try and locate them with his long rage scanner. For now he needed to use as much as he could to keep himself concealed. In the distance he spotted movement, but passed on. Whatever the shuttle was did not concern him now. The damages done to his frame had been ignored for the most part or dealt with to the extent that energon was perserved. Again he listed off to the side, and again his thrusters pushed him in the right direction. He had debated climbing to a higher altitude a couple of times but would do so when he was further out of the enemy territory. With the outskirts of Kaon being left behind, he flew low for perhaps a few more miles before climbing higher at last. His cloaking ability had been shut down allowing the jet to flicker back into existence. Most of the energy was then distributed to fueling his engines and thrusters, while anything unnecessary was shut down. He could still sense leakage where the wing had been torn. The silencers to his engines went off next. It was a long way to go but at least he was no longer near where the enemy had crashed. A good few more cycles (the IDW comic cycles = 1h 15 min = cycle) passed and he remained in the air. His frame may have requested for him to land and give it some reprieve, but the jet stubbornly continued. One of his thrusters sputtered out. It had been damaged in the fighting, probably shot, and had been overheating for a while, forced to work over its limit on a good day, let alone now. There was a transferral of power again, having the jet lean to one side. On his good side the secondary wing and the main one had adjusted its position too. Now he might have even more resembled a space ship which followed little rules of gravity and aerodynamics in the way its shape and design was made. There were some alarms moving past his screen warning him of the overheating and the stress on the certain joints. Ignored again. Iacon was still too far. After about 5 more cycles he chose to call in, hoping the frequency would find its way towards their Prime. :: ShadowZone to base. Sustained damages. Current location Hydrax canyons.:: He chose not to be too specific, should the enemy listen in. While they were probably much busier in picking themselves after having crashed, he would take no chances. ::Progress slow. Calculated time of arrival is...:: There was a long pause before the time was given. It was an optimistic estimate if his damaged frame would allow it. ::Will report progress in 5 cycles... ::Vatimus Prime

As Tarn was walking, he spotted a jet flying at low altitude straight ahead of him, but on the horizon. For a moment he thought about following it, as it didn't send out a decepticon signal and then was either an autobot or possibly a traitor. What ultimately made him decide not to was the fact that he wasn't fast enough to catch it. No need to burn energy on a useless quest which would end up in failure. Instead he just kept with his walk, as that seemed as the most useful thing to do now. He passed a number of vehicons working on something , he did not know what and had no intention of finding out either.
He was approaching the cluster of decepticon signatures, not the drone ones, but the ones who meant something, the ones who weren't simply cannon fodder so that the higher-ups didn't have to do the dirty work themselves. A pity, a lot of fime soldiers gone to waste. Once he got near the medbay, two guards went up to identify him. Tarn simply raised his sword and pointed it at the poor vehicon before simply entering, leaving the two vehicons behind him. He wasn't going to let himself be slowed down by grunts. They'd learn who he was soon enough.
Once he stepped inside, his gaze went from one con to the next, silently growing slightly concerned. There weren't too many inside, and that crash earlier hadn't been pretty. If only these were wounded, how many weren't dead already? "I certainly hope these aren't all we have left. What do I need to help with?" Tarn said afterwards, resting against the nearby wall. He didn't intend to sound hostile, but it didn't do much to him if it came out that way either. He had no targets to go after now, so it wasn't more than right that he'd try to help out around the base. Although with his sword for an arm it made work which didn't include maiming others a little bit tricky.

A quiet optic watched Tarn closely. A new one, different from the one that perished, he guessed. This Tarn seemed less like a maniac to Slapfoot than a warrior, as evidenced by his offer to help. The question was so foreign to Slapfoot that the slightest chuckle managed to leave his lips. Slapfoot rested on the ground and activated his USWS.

Tarn turned his helm slightly as he heard a noise to his side. There were no notable decepticon there as far as he could see, except for a vehicon. The sound was something that sounded almost like.. a laugh? Had that vehicon just laughed at him? The arrogance of these troops had grown too high, something had to be done about that. The large mech vented slightly as he moved away from the wall and over to the vehicon on the ground. It didn't look like they usually did, probably some form of special variant. He had seen the likes of it earlier, on the battlefield. They were dangerous, both to the enemies and the allies. Nasty tendency to rebel, if the reports were correct. He'd have to keep an optic on this one.
He knelt down next to it, so that they were relatively the same height and so that it allowed Tarn to reach the con, should it be required. The black, lifeless decepticon insigina stared down at the vehicon for a brief moment before looking up again. "Do not laugh at those offering to help you, Vehicon. It makes them less likely to want to help. We are a team, are we not? A team works together, otherwise we might as well not be a team at all. As my offer to help seems to not be required, I shall leave to help further the Cause. Have a continued good day." The mech said calmly, reaching to pat the con's leg briefly before standing up again and walking out the door. If the touch connected, the vehicon would feel pain unlike anything it had felt before, as if its entire body was on fire from the inside, tearing itself apart. Of course this wasn't actually happening, it only felt like it and the feeling itself subsided as soon as Tarn wasn't in contact with the vehicon.
Tarn exited the makeshift medbay and tried to figure out what to do now. He wasn't much use in a medbay, not in rebuilding. He could however hunt deserting cons and bots, but was it necessary at this point? Had he done the right choice? Yes, yes he had. This was the way it had to be. He kept traversing the streets of Kaon by pedes, all while scanning for any sign of life; He found none. He just hoped the autobots weren't doing much better. If they were, he'd have to take measures into his own servos and set a stop for that.
