Iacon:
Once a proud and shining example of the glories of the golden age, Iacon was left to ruin during the last days of the War for Cybertron. Giant spires, glorious towers and majestic skyscrapers form the majority of Iacon’s landscape, though many of them lay shattered and destroyed. Even the Iacon speedway and the Decagon, two of Iacon’s most notable features were destroyed in the attack, left behind as little but a wreckage, plagued by Dark energon deployed in the wake of the siege. It is fortunate that Cybertron’s resurrection has purged any trace of the substance from within Iacon’s boundaries, thanks to the city’s proximity to the Omega gate.
Despite Iacon’s destruction, one beacon of hope remains in its ruins. Where the Decagon had once been, a fortress now lies – a fortress formed from the alternate mode of Metroplex, a colossal titan that helped the Autobots to turn the tide during the Siege of Iacon, though was killed after donating all of his energon to help launch the ark. Said fortress is nearly impenetrable, thanks in part to its transforming structures, thick armour and countless weapon emplacements and internal defences.

They had made it out, and boy was she ever glad. Dia clutched Aquahaze close, looking him over for any wounds and let out a sigh of relief when there were none to be spotted. She then turned her attention to their surroundings, listening for any potential danger while studying whatever was left of the structures around them.
This was Iacon...! Her old home... well, what was left of it. There were so many questions in her mind that dug themselves up from a grave she had once buried them in. Where is my caretaker? What happened after I left? Were their graves robbed? Did their children survive? What were their names again? And so on. But all the words swimming around were interrupted when an explosion shook the landscape, and nearly pushed the femme over. The Regenesis had exploded, and whatever remained fell to Cybertron.
A beep sounded in her mind... and her sparklink to Sky throbbed, fracturing and hurting her as well as Aqua. The sound echoed in her audios, and she froze, optics wide and in shock. No... he wasn't... he couldn'tve....
::Sk-...Sky...? My love... please... please respond!:: Her voice was barely nothing at this point. It shook until it wasn't even a whisper, just air.... She couldn't cry. There was no way she could. She lacked the energon from her wounds. Diamond slumped to the ground, the beep replaying in her head.
Skyspray Prime was dead. Her sparkmate and father to their son.
Whoever killed him... they will pay.

There was a ship coming in. Much smaller than the Autobot battleship. A mere transport ship, the entire reason it had gone ignored was because it was so small and unarmed. It was sending out a signal to land, but right now there was nobody to accept such a signal.
"Son of a glitch..." one of the Protecto-bots muttered, looking at the wreckage.
"Well, we can't just sit around here and wait," the other pilot told him, "We gotta get back to Elba. Let's just dump 'em and go."
The ship landed, dropped out a handful of pods, and simply flew away again. One pod was instantly kicked open and a blue rotary mech jumped out.
"HEY GUYS! GUESS WHO JUST GOT OUT OF PRISON?!" The first person Whirl saw was Dia. He didn't know the femme, but he was in no mood to care, jumping at her to speak loudly and obnoxiously, "Hey, you know what's great? Getting bailed out! It's like an early birthday pres-" he stopped, realising she was upset, "-ent..? Uh... I was just kiddin', babe... it's me, Whirl, the ex-Wrecker. You know I'd have ta do my full sentance. So don't be sad, 'kay? it'll ruin my rockin' good mood..." he spoke uncertainly, suspecting that he'd just missed something very important while travelling from Elba to Cybertron in a stasis pod.

It was as if she didn't hear anything else, or anyone for that matter. Instead, Diamond just continued to stare at the ground, holding her son as if he was the last living thing that could keep her alive. And he was.
Instead of responding directly to Whirl, she murmured to herself. "He'salivehe'salivehe'salive... there'snowayhe'sdeadthere'snowayhe'sdead.... Shhh Aqua... Momma's here... Papa's just... sick." Diamond refused to go crazy. The little one in her arms was the only thing preventing her to do so, but she found herself questioning if he were real or not.
After a while, she stood back up and finally noticed Whirl, but spoke in a tone that suggested she was much too tired for his shenanigans, "The hell are you doing here... I thought you were detained."

"Well, yeah," Whirl waved a claw around, "But I got bailed out by a pal with major-league friends. Great, huh? I mean, Elba's a cool place ta visit, but ya wouldn't wanna live there, ya know what I mean?"
Whirl's optic zeroed in on the adorable little sparkling in Dia's arms. He loved sparklings. Dia's words were troubling, to say the least.
"You look upset, lady. I used ta be able ta do dat. I'd ask if ya wanted ta talk about it, but I don't actually care..." it was impossible to tell how serious the skinny mech's words were, "Mostly 'cus it looks like I'm late for somethin' really important. What's yer designation? And what'd I miss dat's so important for you to be lookin' to get all crazy over?"

Dia eyes the mech carefully, taking a step back, paranoid that he would hurt little Aqua. Her ruby gaze itself would have done some real damage, but frankly they were too full of sadness to pass off a scowl.
"Diamond. Skyspray Prime's... former sparkmate. Surely you've heard of me. Not that I care. But you missed one of the biggest battles ever." She rolled her optics, brushing some dust from the little faceplate of the smaller bot. "And if you've got somewhere better to be then I'd suggest you leave. You're not exactly known to be of the best company." The femme snorted, wings twitching in slight agitation.

Scatterbeam awoke, laying flat on her back. She could not say where based off of the blurred glimpses she managed to catch before her eyes shut again. Last thing she remembered, the shuttle had been shot down, attacked by the Decepticons. Her shoulder wound had been torn open and freshly glowed with energon. Her spark seemed to flutter. There was so much throbbing pain that relentlessly wore her down until...
Her eyes opened again. She beheld the beautiful glistening towers that stretch to the sky above her. She sat up. With a tear forming in her eye she whispers to herself…
“Iacon.”
Her spark was overwhelmed with joy. Here it was! Just like it was before the war. Just like she remembered it. She deployed her ante and was amazed to find the airwaves alive and by seeking with signals. But, as she look around she saw no one there. At least at first. Someone, or something, did not run or walk, but glided past her. Moving with such speed that she could not catch a glimpse of their face or figure. Just a streak of green and gold that called out to her with a distant voice,
“Ruby, look out!”
She responded to this call as if it were her name. She didn't register anything wrong but instinctively ducked down. The warm glow of a photon bullet rushed just over her head. She got up on her knees and without thinking twice shot back at the attackers, which to her were indistinct faceless figures wearing the colors of the Iacon police force. But you don't think of these things when you believe you are under attack. She noticed though, it that out of nowhere she was inside. A different place. Behind a computer terminal somewhere as the green and gold figure kept rambling on about nonsense.
Scatterbeam held her helm in her servos. Not again, she thought, Not again, I need to wake myself up. I need to wake up… She violently shook her head. It was another one of those. Or was it? They are not usually that dreamlike. This one felt like a… memory?
Scatterbeam found herself awake lying in the shuttle wreckage. The first thing she felt was the jolt of pain from her freshly opened wound. She grasped it with her other servo. She looked in the opposite detection, instead satisfied with examining the energon it left on her digits. It wasn't too serious of leakage, it just hurt. Then she saw her surroundings. While it looked better than how she left it...it was still mostly piles of rubble and broken buildings.
She heard, from a short distance away and over a pile of rubble, two voices. One of which she recognized, so she headed in that detection. She clumsily made her way up the pile of debris until she was peering over the top. From here she saw Diamond and her sparkling Aquahaze, whom she recognized, and an additional bot whom she did not.
However, as much as she would’ve liked to polite wait until they were done with what seemed like a private conversation, and gracefully climb down when it was time to announce her presence, this was not what happened. Instead a piece of debris she was leaning on came loose under her applied weight. Unable to stop herself the small femme tumbled down the hill. It caused a great deal of noise as she clattered and scraped and made ever clumsy effort to stop herself. Once she hit the bottom of the pile she had garnered enough inertia to skip and tumble across the ground with the so terrible sound of thumping and grinding. Eventually it died down causing Scatterbeam to skid to a stop face down only a few feet from where the two were talking. A grand total of 75 meters of distance covered in about 10 seconds.
She looked up at the two and quickly scrambled up. Something told her she had made a complete fool of herself during a very serious moment. She brushed herself off, stood up straight, and said with a voice that carried all that remained of her dignity,
“I sincerely apologize if I interrupted you two. I’ll just wait over there until you need me.”
With that she quickly turned away out of embarrassment, but it was clear she was addressing Diamond.

"Bad company? Me? A convicted felon?" Whirl stood in front of Diamond, "Ya don't know much about da clink, huh? Ya don't hear much about da outside, bar what comes in with the fresh fish through da front door," Whirl tilted his head, "Don't take it nothin' personal."
He shrugged bony shoulders, "Frankly, lady, seein' da situation, I ain't got nowhere to go, nothin' ta do, and no hope 'a things gettin' better. Might as wella stayed in da Pokey..." she heard him snicker at his own joke, "Dat's a cute Sparklin', by da way," he moved behind her, looking over her shoulder, "'Spray was, huh? 'Spray was..." he waved a claw around, "Really good at gettin' on my back about every little thing, and people were always sidin' with him on account 'a everybody likin' him, and him bein' such a great fighter an' all dat."

Though she still felt like she had nothing to do with this conversation, she couldn't help but listen in. Whirl's mentioning of Skyspray did cause her to wonder though. Where was he? Quite she deployed her long range radio ante. Though under usual circumstances she would find listening into private comm messages to be an abuse of her power, but with no general communications up and the bots scattered there was little else she could do to find out what was happening. She listened in, but what she thought she had learned made her tense. Immediately she retracted from the channels. She looked at Diamond with quite shock. Her voice just barely loud enough for them to hear,
"Is it true then? There is a rumor going around, is he really...gone?"

The presence of another femme was quite obvious, judging by how the sound of her tumbling was somehong her senses were drawn to easily. Dia didn't move her optics however, and simply continued to glare at the slightly taller mech.
"I don't care what Sky did to you. Just know that he was one of the best bots anyone could ever know, and that he would lay down his very damn life for those he loved... and he did." Attempted to keep a strong tone, the hurt was inevitably clear. And once Scatterbeam asked the question, she nearly broke down, only to keep standing and fight the pain and look at the ground.
"Skyspray Prime is dead."

Dead! Dead, dead!
Aquahaze said happily in his mother's arms. He didn't know what it meant but everyone else said it, so then he wanted to do it too. He clung to Diamond, using his tiny arm to hold onto her neck while curiosity got the best of him. He observed both Whirl and Scatterbeam, they looked weird, not like mommy at all. The blue guy was also a little bit scary, with only one optic and no servos. He groaned a little and turned his helm back to Dia, letting it rest on her shoulder. His tiny tesla coils crackled a little bit, semfing tiny sparks flying. He wasn't sure what was going on, but that was fine by him. He was just a little bit tired.

A few minutes in, and the distant rumbling of an incoming Autobot Dropship could be heard. It was taking a path pattern that can be recognized as a search and rescue pass. Searchlights cautiously panning around to look for anyone around the area. It wouldn't take long for Diamond, Whirl, and Scatterbeam to be found. The sound of the ship's running engines drowned a most of the other noises going on. An Auto trooper's voice only somewhat audible over it, as they called our seeing the group of Autobots along with the trace of an unidentified ship that they spotted on radar.
The dropship quickly hovered around to find a somewhat safe location to land on. The ship shutting off its engines, and clamping down to Cybertron's forever missed ground. The shield of the dropship's doors would then shut off to allow access. Although a dropship having door shields is somewhat odd, considering that the ship itself is an older model. So that on its own should give a bit of a hint as to who might be on this ship...
Now that everything was powered down. The crew of the ship flooded out. Still on their toes, taking defensive positions weapons drawn. Scanning the area. All the Autotroopers individually calling clear on their sectors. The reason of their precautions can be excused considering the situation and the fact that the ship did look to have not escaped battle unscathed.
Regardless they all needed and wanted this break from the hellfire they all escaped from. One by one each bot present in the total number of five stepped forward putting away their weapons. The most notable were two Autobots in particular. Hexcode and Killswitch.
Hexcode albeit only having met them at completely different times he immediately recognized Diamond and yes even Whirl. Scatterbeam though was new to the Mech. Still though he signalled for the Autotroopers to set up shop, so they can get the ball rolling again. Killswitch setting down near the ship just to relax for a while.
Hexcode before doing anything deployed some A.T.R.Ds only three for now. The three drones shooting online then flying around to check the area further. With that said, Hexcode walked forward to the group. Keeping a safe distance as he wasn't too sure how Whirl felt about him being an Autobot now.
"Anybody need repairs? We were also able to safe some supplies to resupply. Communications are really low, so I plan to set up a small relay and get things running again. I hope that explosion didn't do what that beep tells me it did." Heart said generally frustrated.

"Woah!" He waved his claws around, "Cool your jets, lady! I never said Spray did anything to me! Just dat we di'nt agree on much. Ain't that compliment enough?"
Even as the ship moved in, Whirl was reflexively putting his claws behind his helm. When he realised they weren't here to get him, he lowered his arms again. Years in prison had left Whirl slightly paranoid.
Hexcode dropped in and yes, he did recognise the guy. But he hadn't been kidding when he'd said not much news got into a prison. He wasn't sure when Hexcode had turned Autobot instead of making his job harder as a Decepticon, and he wasn't entirely careing. He moved sharply between Dia, Aquahaze and Scatterbeam, his claw hovering ready to draw. The only thing that stopped it happening right now was the presence of the Autotroopers.
"Since when was you into repairin' Autobots, Hex?" he asked suspiciously.

An escape pod from the Regenesis was falling towards cybertron's surface . The pod was hit from the battle leaving behind a trail of smoke. The pod was carrying 1 autobot by the name of overdrive.
Overdrive was strapping himself in bracing for impact. As the pod entered the atmosphere turbulence was hitting it shaking overdrive violently in his chair. As the pod touched down it did 2 skips across the metal surface until it skidded to a halt.
A couple minutes after the pod stopped overdrive gathered himself and got out his chair. He then went to check the hatch to see if it would open. When it wouldn't open he just decided to shoot it open.
The hatch blew off the pod allowing overdrive to climb out and step on the surface of cybertron. He then looked around and saw he was within the ruins of Iacon. He started to explore until he saw a small gathering of other bots. Overdrive made his way over to them.
"Hello my fellow autobots" he greeted them.

Scatterbeam perked up at the words ‘communications’ and ‘relay’, her ante twitching slightly. Finally something she could be useful for.She had created enough of an awkward situation as is and thought it best to bail on the social interaction entirely and instead try to get some work done. She rushed over to Hexcode, trying her best to not look like an anxious academy student meeting their new professor.
“Hello…” she began, hopeful getting his attention.
She stood up straight, arms at her sides and spoke as if addressing a superior,
“Designation Scatterbeam, Communications officer. Though I forgive you if you don’t recognize me. I was stationed near the bridge. Nothing ever really happened down there but I always a bit busy so I never really left my post very often…”
Her voice trailed off at the end and she stared blankly into the distance for a while. It was unclear whether this was because if the arrival of a new autobot or because she had just realized she had spent the entire trip here locked in her little room doing nothing but attending to her duties. Anyway, hopefully Hexcode now at least recognized her, by voice or reputation. She manage to focus back into the conversation and continued in a more casual tone,
“If you need any assistance with that rely I would be happy to help. As for repairs…” she directs his attention to her already healing blaster wound on her left shoulder, “I’m sure I can manage this for now.”

All these new bots coming to the same area. Who knew, even after all these years, even after the city was destroyed, it still attracted bots. That or the cluster of signals aided in that fact. Dia huffed, getting rather agitated. She wasn't going to repeat what she had said, not until she was sure Vatimus was present so that he could announce it instead. After all, he was the Prime now, people would listen to him.
"I could use some repairs," Was all she said directed to Hescode, ignoring what Whirl had said. She wasn't exactly bleeding, not anymore at least, but she did in fact look pretty banged up with some deep cuts here and there. What was there better to do?she couldn't give orders, not with the common soldier rank. Oh well, might as well take this time to relax and cool her circuits imstead.

The ride down to Cybertron's surface was nothing short of a maelstrom of alarms accompanied by groaning metal within the cabin; outside of it, the force of reentry was shearing the two ships apart. The exterior hulls erupted in flames as explosions wracked their shields, although Compass didn't get to see if they survived the impact. He felt more than heard the engines kick on in his tiny escape craft, the force of it causing him to tumble into the pilot's seat with a loud clang. The crack in his visor grew larger, now spreading from the weakened point in the glass further along into the visible area of his left optic. If he wasn't careful, the whole thing would break, leaving his optics exposed to intense levels of light they hadn't been designed for. It would render him effectively blind. Another shudder of the ship had Compass grabbing onto a support strut and using it to crawl up into one of the seats. He barely had the safety straps and braces around him before the pod gave another more violent shudder. Now no longer flopping about on the floor, he lifted his hand to his helm and-- CRACK! The world blacked out as his cognition sensors were hit with enough force to cause a manual reset. It would take a few minutes to boot back up. In that time, the shuttle traversed through the mesosphere of Cybertron, parting the thin wispy clouds that tried to congregate there. Seconds passed and it was a relatively smooth ride, given the low resistance of this layer. It graduated to the next, where friction from the air of Cybertron began to slow its descent. It made a trail of white cloud behind it, marking its approach alongside many other empty escape pods launched by Compass. The blazing blue-orange fire, the telltale sign of something about to crash on the surface of a planet, appeared when the pod entered the final and most dense section of atmosphere. While this was going to be the shortest portion of the descent, it was also going to be the rockiest as the escape pod pitched in all directions. The air brakes unfolded on all the descending spacecraft at almost the exact same time, aiming to stabilize and slow their descent so that they weren't crushed on impact. The bow retrothrusters activated soon after, their sole purpose to slow the crafts down. It worked for most of them. Some craft whose braking systems had malfunctioned one way or another were decimated when they hit the ground. Crushed and torn apart, their hollow carcasses scattered debris in every direction and did more than their fair share of damage on the landscape. The majority of pods, who survived their touchdowns, tossed and tumbled to stops. They skipped like stones over water, thrown by experts at precise angles. A few dug into the metal ground, melting their own personalized divots from where they could not be moved and would literally have to be severed. The heat caused many steam clouds to hiss and billow upwards, and displaced dust particles obscured the site of the wreckage for some time. Compass groaned and activated his optics, trying to clear them by blinking rapidly. He lifted his hand and brushed it against his visor gingerly, careful to avoid damaging it further while removing the smokey obstructions that prevented him from seeing. He tilted his head forward, and then suddenly realized... He was upside-down. Compass looked down at himself--or up according to gravity--and started messing with the stabilizers and straps that held him in place. It took longer than it should have, and getting frustrated Compass eventually pulled his pistol and shot the restraints. As they snapped he fell up--er, down--crashing onto the roof of the escape pod with a groan. "Fraaaaag," he muttered, rolling onto his servos and joints while beginning to crawl towards the airlock hatch. It detached easily enough, the only thing that was easy for him at this moment. "Where...where even am I..."It was important to get his bearings, especially since to his knowledge they were still fighting against the Autobots. He crawled out of the burned craft and got hastily to his pedes. After a few moments of standing he had to lean against the hot metal to prevent himself from falling over, his circuits still a little scrambled from the two recent hits to his head. Compass brought a servo up to shield his eyes from the bright light surrounding him, narrowing his optics as he looked around. And then his spark skipped a pulse. "Oh...oh no..."He took a half-step back and bumped his wing into the escape pod. In hindsight, it probably was not the smartest idea to take an Autobot escape pod, especially since that decision seemed to have landed him right beside the Autobot capital city, Iacon. And behind him, the pod he had emerged from began to transmit its distress beacon. Today was not Compass's day.

From the distance, closer to actual Iacon, a curious neutral transformer watched the Regenesis crashing, and the shuttles as they started to land. The blue and black mech locked his own shuttle. An old thing in need of repairs he had been travelling in since he left Teophany.
Seeing the planet as it was now, had broken his spark in pieces and made him jump and squeal with happiness at the same time. It was live, yes, but devastated... it was both beautiful and terrifying to see. Influx remembered it from before the war started, alive, noisy, with an unsatisfied population and a corrupted government, war hadn't been a surprise. But that couldn't be fixed now, could it?. No, no it couldn't... and he knew it well.
He transformed, starting to drive at full speed towards the shuttles that had landed not far from there, hoping to find... others, offer his abilities and benefit from any resources they could offer.Hexcode RedOptics @scatterbeam Whirl

Iacon wasn't exactly the best place to set up shop, due the intensity of the fighting there, but it would do. Weld had been forced to flee here after being chased for miles by Terrorcons. For some reason, they seemed to shy away from the regenerating zones of Cybertron like wolves from a fire. He didn't know what was causing it, but it was a welcome sign after millions of years spent on this dead planet. Perhaps the return of life would bring with it the return of the rest of his race. All these thoughts drifted through Weld's mind as he drove along the familiar path to his makeshift workshop and clambered up the rubble to the door. The old one had been much better, on account of Weld having much more time to build it up. He'd taken all of his vital equipment though, so the impact of losing the workshop was lessened. The one thing he really regretted, though, was leaving behind all the people than needed his help in that area of Cybertron. He pulled up outside the shop and entered through a makeshift sliding door, only to run outside moments later when he heard a gigantic noise that he distinctly remembered from millennia ago. "It can't be. . ."But it was. Up in the sky hung two ships that weren't the Ark and the Nemesis, but Weld could tell that one was an Autobot ship and the other was of Decepticon design. He watched, mouth open, staring in shock at the two ships attacking each other, suspended in the air like hawks. Then a multitude of small pods shot out from the sides of the ships. Weld felt a strange mix of joy and fear. On one hand, his race had finally returned after millions of years. On the other, the hostility of the ships meant that they hadn't solved their differences and would likely just end up continuing the fighting. Weld sighed. Looks like it was time to open up his clinic again. His eyes went even wider as the ships arced away from each other. He looked up as the Autobot ship soared over his head, leaving a trail of fire behind it. The ship slammed into the ground a couple miles away. Surely nothing on it could have survived. A pod suddenly landed two blocks away from him, causing him to jump. He scrambled down the rocks and transformed as soon as he hit the street. An automatic distress beacon reached his ears, and he resolved to help whoever was inside, if there was anyone inside. Within a minute of careful driving, he was approaching the pod. Weld transformed and walked up to the back of the pod. He noticed a the tip of a wing sticking out from the front, and walked around the pod to greet the arrival, hopefully helping in any way he could. It was a Decepticon, which was curious because it had been an Autobot pod. He thought nothing of it. "Hello," he said, hands raised slightly so as not to appear frightening, "Are you in need of help?"(( Compass))

His demeanor remained calm and collected. Watching how Whirl kept an eye on him in a predictably skeptical fashion. His statement making him chuckle slightly. "Tch; come now. It was either this or be stuck in incarceration. The choices weren't exactly hard to select from." Hexcode answered back with a minor smirk. He'd leave Whirl to his own on how he would accept that response. As far as Hexcode is concerned there is no real need to pry on it any further given whats been happening. "I could use some repairs," Was all she said directed to Hescode, ignoring what Whirl had said. She wasn't exactly bleeding, not anymore at least, but she did, in fact, look pretty banged up with some deep cuts here and there. What was there better to do?she couldn't give orders, not with the common soldier rank. Oh well, might as well take this time to relax and cool her circuits instead. Hexcode shifted his attention for a moment once Diamond chimed in as well. "Right, you'll be taken care of immediately." He said. Almost sidetracked as he only just now noticed that Diamond was holding a sparkling. Still, he had a job to do, and couldn't pry on it. Quickly he called over one of the Autotroopers, who is a skilled medic. "Scapel tend to her wounds and make sure anyone else that may need anything is treated as well. I'll run double checks when I have time." He said calmly. Said autotrooper nodding before turning to Diamond with her gear approaching her, to prepare to tend to her wounds as provided. From then on Hexcode checked back with the other Autotroopers, whom he had set up the supplies that he mentioned earlier. They worked fast and he liked that, but now it was time to be efficient. Around this time pods were still landing, and battles were still going around in random locations. This is what Hexcode wanted to get handled as soon as possible. It would be around this time Scatterbeam successful grabbed his attention.
“Hello…” she began, hopeful getting his attention.
“Designation Scatterbeam, Communications officer. Though I forgive you if you don’t recognize me. I was stationed near the bridge. Nothing ever really happened down there but I always a bit busy so I never really left my post very often…”
“If you need any assistance with that rely I would be happy to help. As for repairs…” she directs his attention to her already healing blaster wound on her left shoulder, “I’m sure I can manage this for now.”He admired the formality surely, but in truth, he was not one to really require such things. He turned to face her directly giving her the floor to speak her mind, curious as to what she wanted. Taking note of her designation and profession the very moment she gave them to him. Immediately his processor linked that information to his Tech Wheel, and put it in a log filed under "Personnel". The file growing in content as it ran a background check through whatever the Autobot files may have. Hexcode smiled and nodded to her as a sign of respect and nothing else. Clearing his mind so he could speak properly. "Ah, yes. Perhaps I may have to take the time to know you when it is adequate. I had to spend most of my whereabouts watching over the building of the Regenesis so I'm afraid we are a bit in the same boat. My name is Hexcode, Technology and Communications Specialist at your disposal. But, if you wish to assist me I am greatly appreciative of the help. Here take a look for yourself..." He said in a friendlier tone than what some may be used to. Though ignoring that for a moment, he activated his Tech Wheel gauntlet, holding it out so Scatterbeam could see what he was showing her clearly. A holographic screen materialized over his arm and displayed multiple things. A slight overhead 3D map view of the crash location of the Regenesis, as well as varying pings of Autobot signals as well as comms trying their hardest to break through the static. The level of interference displayed in a sort of volume-esque graph off to the bottom left corner. Interacting with the screen he would move the map around as he spoke. "As you can see. This is us right here. These pings are all the varying distress signals and comm channels that we are barely getting feedback from. Odds are it's due to Cybertron's now outdated radio towers and satellites, but using what we have on the drop ship we can set up a formidable replacement beacon. That should get some proper communication flowing. What I need you to do Scatterbeam; is to help me find the best spot to get a signal out, before we build this thing. And I won't be able to jam out Decepticon readings until you do." He hoped that short briefing made sense. Waiting a moment for her to respond that she understood. And then he could enact his plan further. And behind him, the pod he had emerged from began to transmit its distress beacon. Today was not Compass's day. Outside of all of this and far from what Hexcode may have been doing. His drones were on high alert. Hovering more and more outward to check, and scan the surrounding area. On of which checking on pods as they came in. It would be quite some time before any of Hex's drones reach Compass, but if he wasn't careful to listen out for the sound of its whirling engines, or panning little search lights he may be in for a nasty surprise.
