System is my grandson, and he's dying. Like I was.
Watchman sighed and then stood. Two drones rushed in, and Watch nodded to them. Some lights started flashing on cables connected to his head, and the drones nodded, before running off. He sighed a bit and rubbed the top of his helm.
I can fix him, I need to fix him. I can't have him be like me. But I'll need your help. Remember when we made Midna's body?

Looking between the both mechs, the floating blue femme discreetly took silent inventory of the number of drones at Watchman's disposal while GriefAura considered Watchman's words carefully. It was difficult not to let his jaw hang loosely. He was going to get to meet... Watchman's grandson? He certainly hoped that meant Midna's youngling, and not some other femme's illegitimate offspring's child. It had been a while since they'd last spoken; Watchman could have gotten into the berths of who knew how many femmes by now.
"Your grandson, here," he mused, crossing his arms again and making a single, light shake of his helm. Something curled in his expression, the corner of his intake rising slightly, but the emotion it displayed was all kinds of confusing. Even GriefAura himself didn't know exactly how he felt about this. "Yeah, 'course I remember making Midna's body. W-... Wait, you're not saying that we...?" Grief's optic widened slightly, and his servo rubbed at his neck anxiously as his chassis groaned. Weight shifted from one ped to the other, and another groan rose up from his tanks. "Watch, this is... I mean, this is completely different. We're not talking about placing an AI in the body, are we? Because if your grandson isn't an AI, then that changes the whole thing. The compatibility of the processing systems and the new chassis-" He paused to consider the gravity of such an operation. "It'd be a challenge."

Yes, Midna's first child. As for System himself, no. He's biological. However, since he is the son of an AI, his processor and spark will be easier to transfer to a new body. However, still not easy. It won't be like Midna's body. Well need to work hard for a long time, which is why I'm going to need you help...and his help too...remember him? Our third member of the body building brigade. Those were the days.
Watch almost smiled at the thought, before heading out, going towards the entrance. Two drones would walk outside, not taking even a moment to greet the two as they helped carry System inside. Watch was walking quickly, trying to avoid the cables which were laying around the ship, all connected to him.

"Grandpa! Oh hi girls. Where are they taking System? Primus! What happened to you?"
*He was trying to take everything in as he watched them take System away to the old medbay.*

GriefAura was keeping up with the conversation, and thought about what it meant to be half-biological Cybertronian, half AI. It was a strange concept, but he grasped it loosely; tight enough, at least, to be able to start considering the new chassiss' settings and how he'd have to adjust torque and tension on certain pieces of more sensitive equipment.
"Easy, heh," he chuckled dryly, a smirk overtaking his features. "Since when have our jobs ever been easy?" Pulling both of his arms out in front of him, he rolled both shoulders, greeted by satisfying 'pops' in his armor, and then pounded a fisted servo into the other's palm. "You know I'm not one to shy away from a challenge."
"Bots on the perimi-" Summoner started, 'oofing' as she flew straight into Helix's chest. "-iter." She'd been a bit slow in detecting them; she'd have to remember to ask Grief for a check-up after this "System" had been accommodated. Grief didn't recognize this newcomer at first. Shrugging to Watchman in response, he shook his helm slightly to let him know that he really didn't remember him. He wouldn't, at least, for a little while.

Watch shrugged back, before turning to Helix and Targix.
Helix, Targix, you two follow Navi. She will lead you to where you'll take System. You two just stay there, and be good.
A blue femme who looked a lot like Midna smiled and waved to Targix. The red one let go and turned to Watch.
Tatl, you go help the drones set up to plug System in.
She nodded, before Watch turned back to Grief.
Grief, I'm gonna take control of one of the drones, then you and I are going to take one of the escape pods I've upgraded to go recruit our third member. I've got intel that Baku is on Earth too.

Nodding to Watchman, Grief gave a cursory glance to the others. Helix, Targix- he couldn't tell which was which; he wasn't the best with names. Summoner perked slightly at the mention of Navi, a name a little too similar to the nickname Grief have given her, Nav, and the poor femme had almost mistaken Watchman's directions and understood them to mean that she was to lead them. A small bit of relief was felt upon seeing the other femme whom she supposed was Navi, and Summoner chirped a few times as she watched the bustle of activity around her. This was the largest gathered group of bots she'd been with since her reactivation.
"Right," Grief said in response to Watchman. The name he'd mentioned sounded familiar to GriefAura... Baku? The mech swore he had heard the name before, but with his thoughts consumed with the particulars of the operation they were about to perform shortly, he really couldn't make the effort to put the name to a faceplate. Knowing that the mech was familiar, and had worked on Midna, though, Grief didn't contest Watch's decision to leave in the escape pod.

Watchman walked inside the ship, leading Grief's way. He directed Grief to a large drone that walked up to them. Watch slid into the next room, and after a moment, the drone spoke with Watch's voice and moved like Watch.
Come on Grief, this way.
Watch the Drone lead Grief to the escape pod bay, and started tapping away to switch one of them on.

He followed obediently, Summoner trailing behind in suit just after giving a quick, invisible bow to the mech she'd accidentally run into.
"Mmmph. As the professional between the pair of us, I'd like to point out that escape pods aren't the best mode of transportation," Grief said tauntingly, his playful tone almost perfectly hidden. Summoner didn't seem to be keeping up with things as well as Grief was, and it would have been clear to Watch, if he was paying attention, that her AI systems hadn't yet acclimated to the languages they were speaking in. English was still a sluggish language, and her Cybertronian only would have been in an ancient dialect that no one knew. She did, however, seem to grasp what the escape pod meant: "We're leaving?"

Yes, but as the faster of the two of us, not only did I already figure that out, I upgraded my escape pods to act as short range shuttles.
He said with a chuckle, before turning to Nav. He nodded a bit as the doors to the pod opened.
Yes, we need to go get one more friend to help fix System.
He smiled at Nav, before stepping inside and sitting in front of the controls.

Shrugging with a clearly exaggerated sigh of defeat, Grief settled into the pod alongside the strange drone. It occurred to him that he probably shouldn't have readily accepted such abnormalities as a drone that projected the voice of his friend, but in all the time he'd spent with Watchman, he thought that the two of them had seen enough scrap for something like this to be perfectly normal- or at least, as close to it as you could get.
"The mech that helped us make Midna," Grief added, glancing at Summoner as she darted quickly inside the pod, fixing herself to one of the pod walls to prevent from being tossed about the pod's cabin once they took off. "You remember my stories, don't you?" It took her a moment to recollect the information, but Summoner's blue hum glowed brighter once she'd figured it out. "Oh, yes! Of course, the AI daughter that you spoke of being envi-""-Invested in, yeah, that's the one," Grief hurriedly interjected, clearing his throat tubing loudly. He shot her a harsh glance, and the small blue orb simply giggled in response. By the time their antics had made way for silence between the trio, Grief had strapped himself in and prepared for the pod's journey.

Watch had caught the slip up, and chuckled a little bit. He flicked a few switches and the ship whirred to life. He glanced back at them to check they were strapped in, nodded, and then launched the pod out of the ship, beginning to drive it towards the location.

The sound of the pod's whirring systems was a comfort to GriefAura. He closed his optic, soaking his senses in the feeling of flight once again. The last he'd flown it was a less than pleasant experience, or else he hadn't been able to experience it at all- stasis-locked- and it was nice to be flying again. Summoner, on the other hand, didn't know the difference between flying and not.
His audials picked up on the modifications Watchman had made to convert the pod to a make-shift shuttle. It was a subtle change in the engine's pitch that anyone else would have missed, even if they'd been looking for it; GriefAura knew ships, even stasis pods and escape pods, and most of all- he knew Watchman's ship. Inside and out, he could already picture the differences between this pod and any other generic escape pod.

Navi turned to Targix and smiled happily.
Why thank you, sir! That is very sweet of you to say!
She helped them take System to the medbay, where they laid him on the berth. After a while, the escape pod returned, carrying Baku, Grief, and the drone. The drone suddenly shut down for a moment, before reactivating as itself, with Watch having disconnected from it.

Baku would fly in after the shuttle-pod, his landing flaps down as he slowed his decent speed and had a mildly smooth landing on the floor of the Ramshell. After his jet engine spooled down completely, Baku would transform into robot mode, grunting a bit as he stretched his arms and legs.
You know, if you had initially told me that we were coming to Alaska, I would've brought Ichinose along as well. He'd love to explore the area during any down-time he would've gotten working here with me.
