{Semi-Lit rp. Neutral territory means no fighty-fighty. Capeesh?}}
Strewn across the Mediterranean Sea, the coastal country of Greece looked not unlike a field of broken glass. With its many wayward islands seeming to have drifted away from the mainland, much of Greece was indeed surrounded on all sides by water. The sound of waves was always constant in those smaller isles. The smell of salt and seaweed wafted through the towns as it was carried by ocean winds, and this particular town was no exception. Bold, blue and white buildings jutted from the rocky coast as the scent of the Mediterranean blew past their walls. If asked, the locals would tell you that to them it smelled like home. Of course, first you would need locals to ask, which would be difficult in this particular town.

Vaqus had the privilege of being the first on on the other side. Instantly, he saw the brilliant view before him. He was on a beach. With tannish white-ish grains of practically microscopic rock, with the salty water lapping up against a more muddy version of the sad, which formed the lip between the sea and land. Vaqus took a few steps to the side of the ground bridge which he had stepped out of, shuffling so that the mechs following up wouldn't bump into him. Perhaps some would think it unfortunate they were appearing right beside a beach, but Vqqus couldn't have been happier to see the water.
The water.
Endless, constantly in motion, an expanse of teal-blue, washing ashore and then retracting back into itself, not solid matter, yet still a unique form of matter. Just like Aquatron's endless ocean, yet unique in it's own way.
Vaqus: Hello beautiful.
Vaqus said mildly, his hind rotors of his sub-marine alternate mode whirring for a moment. It was going to be nice to be swimming again...perhaps he could persuade Aerojet into the water, or better yet, Systemcheck. Basically anybody. Vaqus let out a small sigh. It was quite a nice sight, for someone who hadn't been in water for a few centuries or so.

As Validia, Vampyricon, Artron, and Chronon stepped out of the green sphere, they saw Vaqus staring at the ocean that stretched towards the horizon.
"Nice place," Vampyricon commented.
Seeing Vaqus mesmerized by the water, Validia decided to bend the water towards him, a semi-forceful jet that might knock him off balance.

Vaqus had been quite enchanted on the horizon, and how the sunset gleamed off the shores. The waters were peaceful, yet restless. It was sight to see indeed! Now, if he could just swim under it, and then check rings out from beneath the waves...All of the sudden a large jet of water came from the area which Vaqus had not been stepping. He noticed it, but he made no effort to dodge. He just took the splash, though with his stronger body type he was able to resist the wave a bit more, before he began to tilt backwards. Smoothly, Vaqus saved his supposed about-to-be clumsy fall to just sit down, in such a manner that it seemed like he had intentionally sat down. Being wet was the best part of it all though.
Vaqus then saw the three who came.
Vaqus: Guess it's a competition between Systemcheck and Aerojet now.
Vaqus mused aloud. He himself couldn't control water, so he just sat there peacefully. Or he acted peaceful. Beneath the mask of his tranquil attitude, vaqus craftily thought up of a few things he could do for the fun of it. Any last minute booby traps he could set up? Nope. None so far.

Aerojet stepped out of the glowing vortex, his pedes immediately landing on the soft sand of the shore. The warm feeling of the white silicon oxide powder was quite comfortable, but his gaze was immediately attracted by the clean, blue sky above. He closed his optics and gently spread his arms a bit, feeling the breeze as the wind blew softly.
The air is colourless, your could never see it. Yet it’s energetic, always in motion, briskly flowing all over the place, reaching every corner. It’s presence is covering the whole planet. It’s constantly changing and moving. The sky on this planet is really beautiful, Aerojet noted.
He took a deep vent and whirled his turbofans, while stretching his arms. He signed a bit as he put his arms back down. It’s really nice to get outdoors. He slowly went to where Vaqus and other bots were, enjoying the light breeze as he walked.

"It's a nice place," Artron said as she stepped into the water. Validia bent some water into a ring around herself. Chronon joined her sister and sat down.

So now that Systemcheck came in last, Vaqus supposed he was the sap. Only on a playful not though. Vaqus counted about six or so Autobots in the area, so any approaching Decepticons may or may not think twice. Vaqus observed Aerojet fixated on the sky, just like he had been when looking at the ocean. The sky ws a beautiful thing as well...sometimes Vaqus secretly envied people who could fly. other then that, he was cool with swimming. Vaqus went ahead to get into the water, step by step submerging himself as he walked into the water lapping up against the sand.
Vaqus: Welp, I don't know about you, but I'm taking a swim.
Vaqus said to tell the others where he was going. He may as well. Vaqus had water up to his neck in moments, and then his visor flipped downwards as he completely went under water. As usual, things looked different when beneath the waves. Looking up to see the sun reflecting off the water's surface was something beautiful to see as well. A few air bubbles emitted from vaqusses mouth guard, as he vented some. The vast expanse of blue offered some decent exercise to Vaqus, and the mech transformed into his slim and water proof sub marine alternate mode. He thus began to slip through the water, staying close to the group, but zig-zagging nonetheless.

“What sphere?” Aerojet asked confusedly, not sure what Vampyricon was referring to.
Seeing Systemcheck arrived, he smiled and replied, “This place is great! How do you know this place?”
As far as he could see, this location didn’t have many local activities. Large mechanical organisms should still be a secret to the majority of humans. The less human here meant less chance of being discovered. Aerojet guessed it would be a good thing. Though he really don’t understand why it’s important to remain hidden. Why would it be bad if humans discovered their presence?
Anyway, he watched as Vaqus jumped into the water and swam freely. He sometimes found water a bit… suffocating? Maybe that word was too strong, but he did feel awkward and a little uneasy underwater. His movements couldn’t be as free as it could in the air. Of course, his composite armour allows him to be completely submerged by water to any other liquid because of the armour’s chemical resistant nature. But he may avoid it as long as he could.
He ignited his turbofans at the back, jumped high, and transformed in mid-air. The roaring engines now pushed him forward, allowing his wings to generate enough lift to stay airborne.

"You guys see, but don't observe," Vampyricon said. "Have you even noticed that my Groundbridge portal is spherical? It's also darker than normal. And have you even thought of asking why? People these days..." The last sentence he said in Gallifreyan, ensuring that only his sisters would understand.

Aerojet flew around in a circle. He observed the place, which is a small lovely island, isolated but not deserted. It's vibrant of life, and all kinds of local fauna and flora exists.
He then heard Vampyricon's response. He glided down slowly, and transformed when he nearly touch the ground. He activated his turbofans upon touchdown, allowing him to land softly on both pedes. Hearing his reply, Aero guessed that Vampyricon was talking about the shape of the groundbridge. He scratched his helm a bit, as back then he didn't understand what's Vampyricon was referring to when he had asked him for comments.
Anyway, he replied tentatively, "Err... Yes, I noticed that the groundbridge was quite different. I speculate the spheric shape was because of the spatial warping device configuration. Back in the base, the groundbridge was in shape of a vortex similar to a tunnel. That should be because the stabilizing units are in the shape of metal rings. Groundbridge was generated in the series of rings, resulting a tunnel-like appearance. But for a much smaller portable edition, large stabilizing rings aren't applicable. Sphere should be the most stable shape from a point source of spatial warping generator."
"Besides, groundbridge warp space in three dimensional space. It's like," Aerojet stopped a bit as he struggled to find a way to express his thoughts, "Ehh... Warping space in two dimensional space would create something like a circular hole in space-time, with the hole connecting the destination and where you depart. Warping space in three dimensional space should be similar, but since it's in three dimensions, so the hole would be spherical instead of circular."
Aerojet stopped a bit, and added, "Of course, these are all my speculations, and might not be correct."
"As for darker colour, I didn't have a theory for it yet. I thought of asking why, but I was distracted by this place a bit, I mean," Aerojet smiled sheepishly and said, "This place is beautiful. It's been a while since I got outdoors."

Vampyricon was a bit disappointed. He wanted to show off. "That's right. It also conveniently negates the instability when two 2-dimensional portals are near each other. Actually default portable Bridges are two-dimensional, I had my brother upgrade it," he explained. "The darker shade is because of a previous upgrade using higher technology. It was previously a time travel device. Red means forward, blue means backward, green means none. The circuit in charge of that was, sadly, removed from my portable controller, and the lack of any other means of interstellar transport meant that I couldn't get it fixed."
[Did you watch Interstellar, Aero?]

Vaqus had been swimming, but he had caught a little word of Vampyricon's complaint while swimming on the surface before he took a deeper dive. The reason why no one asked, is because everyone was busy rushing out. Plus, anyone could guess there was a scientific explanation that no one could figure out. Vaqus thought, swimming deeper and deeper. Instead of being in his alternate mode, he had switched to his robot form. He was a bit far off from the others, and he kept swimming deeper and deeper. Vaqus at last found the Sea floor, which wasn't actually extremely deep, but a good 150 ft from the surface. A nice, quiet place, with some stray patches of coral, and some fish in the distance.
Vaqus found the area nice and quiet, and then settled on the Sea floor. he sorted through few memories, and in his mind a few images flashed as he recalled some of his closer friends which had been around before he had wound up crashing in China. He silently wished one in particular was present, even though he knew it was impossible. He let a small sigh emit from his gear, causing a few small bubbles to float to the surface, having the shiny look of a jelly fish all the way up.
Well Clinx, what do you think? Vaqus mentally asked his casseticon friend. 'I believe that this place isn't bad. I also believe that you should brighten up a bit.' Clinx responded. Not a whole lot of emotion was in the sentence. Vaqus sighed. When he got back up, things were going to be a bit noisier, though he would have to make sure he was one of the sources of the noise. Vaqus tapped his digits together with rhythm, switching his minds focus to some thoughts about music, just for the heck of it.

((( Yes, I watched it. I thought of the spherical wormhole in that movie when you described your groundbridge is a sphere. XD )))
Aerojet listened to Vampyricon, interested in his explanation. "2-dimensional portals... I wonder how they look like. Back on Paradron, we also had some experimental and prototype portable space-warp travelling device developing. Well, at least at the time I left, the research was still going on. But the devices were strictly restricted to research uses only, as those prototypical devices were quite crude and dangerous. Besides, they weren’t really affordable by civilians."
“And time travel devices… While I’ve heard of them, I don’t think they are used widely. I also heard that they have extremely severe limitations too,” Aerojet stopped a while, before continuing, “Well, almost all things I knew about temporal devices are heard from others. I haven’t even seen one myself.”
He casted a glace at the sea. He couldn't really see Vaqus from here, now that he was somewhere under the surface. Hmmm... He guessed Vaqus was happily swimming under the waters.
Turning his head to the other side, he saw System sitting under the tree. He seemed quite comfortable there.

"I only got this on a planet called Gallifrey," Vampyricon said. "It was an exchange, really. We left our ship there so they could know more about what's happening out there and in return, a Spacebridge that goes in four dimensions. I called it a Timebridge. It's portable because most of its generator is in a pocket dimension like a subspace pocket. They also allowed Chronon to scan their time machines so we thought it was a fair trade."
Vampyricon felt a servo patting the top of his head. He tensed and started to turn around but stopped once he heard the owner speak."C'mon bro, we're here to relax, not to do your science project," Artron said, and pulled him towards the water.
Validia went off to one side, practicing techniques that she learnt when they accidentally landed in an alternate universe. She always keeps a supply of tritiated water in her subspace, due to its usefulness as a weapon, and therefore she bends normal water much less than other water elementals.
Artron, Chronon, and Vampyricon sat down on the shore. Waves repeatedly crashed against their armour, and as Vampyricon started wondering if sitting in liquid hydrogen oxide is a good idea, Chronon spoke up. "We should really get our T-Cog fixed," she said.
Artron nodded. "Yeah, it's been too long," she agreed. "Or replaced. Replacing it should work too."
Chronon then turned to Vampyricon. "Talking about replacing things, if I replace all my parts over my lifetime, would I still be me?" she asked.
"You couldn't replace your sparks, can you?" he said. "Even if you could, I saw somewhere in a human book that it's your memories that count."
"What about a human vehicle, then? If you replace all the parts..." "Guys! Stop it! Don't go all philosophical on our break, my processor needs rest," Artron complained.
"That is our rest!" Vampyricon responded, and the three of them fell silent, Artron enjoying the view and the other two silently pondering the question.

Vaqus found himself beginning to get a bit bored. So now he was going to have to create some action. Vaqus urned on his rotors, and transformed into his sleek, submarine alternate mode. He began to at first make gradually laps around in a wide circle, but he increased his speed, and made the circle tighter, and tighter, as to create a while pool. Soon enough, He had reached considerable speeds beneath the waves, but he kept on going. Powering his rtors so that he could continue his whirl pool. Vaqus was at thrusted his rotors to max power, as his submarine mode went into a blur, causing bubbles and strange currents to appear on the surface of the water. At last, Vaqus slightly tilted his form upwards, as to ride the current he had caused to rapidly make his way upwards, and the surface of the water neared quickly.
Vaqus breached the waves with a spur of sea water splashing everywhere, as Vaqus himself rocketed upwards, his direction heading for land. Vaqus spiraled in his Aqua alternate mode before he transformed fluidly, his form gleaming in in the last of the sunset, which had turned the clouds a soft pink. Vaqus thudded on the sand, spraying sand everywhere as his heavy form made contact with the ground. Vaqus had considered punching on someone and then starting a play fight, but he wanted either a real one, or a friendly spar.
Vaqus would have proceeded to ask if anyone had been bored, but he saw that everyone seemed content with one another. Enjoying the peace and quiet, which he had gladly disrupted. He gave a sigh, and then checked the time with his visor. No one had strictly ordered them back over the com-line, so that meant that Vaqus and his friends didn't need to worry about time. Vaqus began to walk off, pacing as he seemed to think about something.
