Chaff's quarters are larger then most, because his quarters are more like his personal laboratory. It is here, where hundreds of tools and parts are organized, and kept in good condition. Chaff stores various other signature gadgetry and weapons in his quarters, and two berths. Two berths are within because Chaff's old deceased twin, Graph used to live with him, but the vehicon keeps the other berth handy in his workshop just because he sees it fit to remember his twin.
--------------
Chaff's quarters have specific mini-sections, such as an armory section where he puts completed weapons and tools, and then he has a creation section where he commences to design and repair different projects, all which he keeps to himself.
Chaff also uses his room as sometimes a medical bay, since his brother used to be a medic, Chaff learned how to become one himself, and can actually repair or upgrade a friend who stops by more then easily.

Chaff was working on his Phase Ray, which had recently been thrashed around thanks to his rogue predicon pet. She ad left a while ago, so Chaff had been granted a few moments to clean up after the creature. The Phase Ray only received given minor damage, however, that minor damage could cause the creation to malfunction. It was slightly delicate in this way, but Chaff hadn't found the proper coating of armor which could suit the ray.
Until then, he was going to have to just keep fixing and upgrading it. Chaff gave a sigh, and then started to play a recording of some music. It gave him something to work to the rhythm of, and he enjoyed music a lot. His good twin graph was actually a gifted singer, and Chaff always put on some tunes now and then in memory of him. Chaff actually did a lot of things in memory of his twin, come to think of it.
Chaff's door was left open, so that anyone who wanted to stop by could come in. Chaff thought that maybe this made his quarters less of a private thing, but he could simply shut his doors if he didn't want anyone near him. So the vehicon with the green stripe kept working, and continued to adjust the Phase Ray, wrapping up his work on it.

A green vortex opened near Chaffs rooms. Stalaken walked through the bridge as it closed, heading straight for the door of his old friends chambers. The doors looked different then before but Stalaken didnt think much of it. As he reached the doors his servo came up to knock on the metal barrier to announce his presence. But to his surprise the door was already open. There wasnt many reasons Chaff would leave his door and all of them most likely ended with a bang.
This cant be good
With this knowledge he was not so sure he wanted to enter Chaffs domain. But after a few seconds he knew that he had to trust that his friend didnt want him dead. Right? Stalaken stepped through the door and stopped, waiting for something to explode. When nothing did he continued carefully toward Chaff. Then he said loud enough for his tinkering friend to hear,
" Why hello Chaff. I may be in need of some of your skills. "

Chaff had finished up the Phase Ray when his good old friend Stalaken dropped by.
"Yellow." Chaff used his twin's Graph's voice, though many mistook the voice for simply his own. Technically it was by all rights Chaff's, since graph was dead and Chaff was his twin. Chaff called the voice his own too, though secretly he thought to an extent, this was a slight robbery on his behalf.
"Watcha need bro?" Chaff asked as he stood up from his work, putting his servos to his sides, before gesturing to the entire room. Stalalken was Chaff's best friend, and they had watched over each other and given each other small commentary regarding their actions eve since they had become friends. It made their interaction enjoyable to Chaff, since he was the more zany out of the two.

Chaff was working as was to be expected from Stalakens friend. Stalaken always found it hard to not find this mech working on something, or upgrading this, fixing that and just tinkering with everything. Though today Chaff was in a good mood for he was using his brothers voice. Stalaken knew that the memory of his brother caused Chaff pain but it also gave him much joy. He returned from his thoughts and answered Chaffs inquiry,
"Well you know that poison that we created a while ago that kills the lubricant in joints? Could you find a way to make the poison stick to the edges of my shields? "
Stalaken knew that one could put poison on blades and bullets, why not shields?

Chaff stroked his chin as he thought of Stalaken's little offer. Lubricant destroyer on shields? Interesting. Chaff looked at the dull edges of Stalaken's shields, and nodded his helm slowly. "I have a thing or two that'll do with that. Meanwhile, I've noticed how slowly I fight can drag on with you mate. I don't like it. Defense is good, but your's is too good." Chaff said casually, and then walked over to his armory.
"So i've been thinking--don't give me that look behind your helmet--" Chaff went on as he glanced through the shelves of armor and weapons, and then finally found the one which he and been keeping i store and specially made for his buddy. Chaff selected a large hammer, with two large ends at each side, specially made for smashing the living daylights out of anyone who had the misfortune to be hit with it. On the hilt was engraved the writing in ancient Cybertronian, 'Peace through tyranny'.
The green striped mechanic used both arms to carry this large weapon over to his friend, who possessed better strength by far. "This. You need this." Chaff said brightly in his brother's voice. It was clear the vertical visored vehicon was very excited about giving the gift to his friend, and it was also apparent that he was enthusiastic about his friend receiving this gift.

As Stalaken asked the favor he took both his sheilds and placed them on a berth in Chaffs work room. He then returned his attension to Chaff as he responded.
"So i've been thinking--don't give me that look behind your helmet--" Chaff went on
He couldnt help but smile after that comment. Chaff could read Stalaken like a book. And indeed Stalaken had been making a scowling face towards his friend. For he couldnt figure out if Chaffs first comment,on his fighting style, was an insult or a complement. Also he was quite skeptical of Chaffs "gift" for theres one thing he learned about tinkerers. Is that when they give gifts it is sometime dangerous to accept them. But when he saw the hammer his fears ran away.
That is... is.... beautiful.
Though Stalaken coudlnt admit it. He really wanted it. The double head was very interesting to him. But what held his gaze was the words written on the handle,
'Peace through tyranny'
OH Chaff had out done himself this time. Stalaken then realized that he was gawking at it for long enough and said,
" Chaff my mate that is one great hammer but I can not take it. For, as we all know it is offensive and I just cant do it."

Chaff rolled his optics at his over dramatic friend, who had dedicated his techniques to defense. It was a good choice, but too much of one thing was bad. Chaff just rolled his optics behind his own mask and then spoke up. His friend needed guidance, and now was time to crack a wise-sounding sentence that would convince his friend.
"Stalaken, sometimes the best defense is the best offense." Chaff said, holding out the hammer for his friend to except. Behind his mask, chaff didn't really know what he had just said, but he had a feeling it had been from a good book. Stalaken was probably the only one who would truly understand it, since he had his shields and all. Chaff kept the hammer still in an offering position, and gave a small nod of his helm.
The hammer was getting heavy some, so Chaff secretly hoped that Stalaken really would except it. C'mon. Don't leave me hanging here. Chaff thought, as he blinked his optics from behind his mask. The hammer was quite heavy--but Chaff was more then capable of holding it.

((Sorry for the slow response, mom needed some hep.))
Chaffs arms extended as he held the hammer out to Stalaken,
"Stalaken, sometimes the best defense is the best offense."
He couldnt think of any answer to that comment. Stalaken didnt really understand Chaffs statement either but who can understand the mind of a mechanic? So ,even against his own will, he reached out and took the hammer. It felt amazing in his servo, nicely balanced and not too heavy. The engraved writings in the handle were smooth as to not hinder the wielder. Also the hammer was perfect in length, it was as if Chaff put very great effort into making this weapon.
" Chaff, this is the first and best gift I have ever been given." Then as serenely as he can get he said. " Thank you mate."

Chaff made a small bow as his gift was excepted. He had indeed worked hard on the project, and was happy to grant it to Stalaken.
"A pleasure, as always comrade." Chaff said, and then arose from his small bow. "It's made of tough metal, so it can be used to smash pretty well." Chaff said, and then then pulled out a strap which he had designed especially for Stalaken and that hammer. The strap allowed the vehicon to carry the hammer on his back, and transform with it. Subspace technology often came in handy.
Chaff then gestured to the doorway, "Feel free to test it out man. The hammer's pretty hard to destroy, and it has a small rocket thruster on one end so that if you need some extra umph, all you gotta do is pull the trigger that's three feet above the bottom hilt. Just as a side note." Chaff said encouragingly. He then went to placing the requested acids and poisons on the shape edges of Stalaken's shields, so his goof irene would have some extra tricks up his sleeve in combat.

Stalaken nodded quickly as he accepted the strap for his new tool. He rapped the strap around his shoulder and his back. Then he placed the hammer into the harness and smiled under his helm as it sat quite nicely on his back.
" Your right I do need to practice with this tool before I use it in battle," He turned and exited Chaffs," Com me when your finished with my shields , mate."
And with the last statement Stalaken hurried to the training arena.

"Have fun dude, and don't forget to fetch me some laxative stuff--Erm, I mean, never mind!" Chaff called after his bro, and with that the inventor turned to finish up the shields which he had been given to deal with. The inventor continued to perform the job, and coat the shields with the poison. It was a clever trick, and once applied, Chaff was sure that his bro would be one of the best if not the most elite vehicon around when it came down to it.
Chaff himself considered himself a useful combatant, but compared to others he would be better as a tricker or a mechanic. Chaff was alright with that, it was just that he simply hoped that one day he could be recognized by at least SOME Decepticons that he was more then what they gave him credit for; a mindless tool.
Of course I'll try not to end up like T-19 or F-28...I'll be smart and not tally away to the Autobots. I mean, why would I? All my friends are here in the Nemesis right? Chaff asked himself, thoughtfully finishing the first shield.

A message binged into Chaffs com-link.
" Chaff I need my tools finished. Like right now."
The message ended as quickly as it came.

A single knock at the door was all Crashcourse's knuckle producd, which her servo fell back to her side. Crash had heard stories of the vehicon Chaff, whom was a vehicon who could actually think. She figured chaff was one of the older modeled vehicons, and unlike the mass produced vehicons now adays. Crash shrugged to herself. He must do a great job at keeping a low profile.. She thought.

Chaff had indeed arrived back at his room, and had been cleaning everything up with his cloak still on since he enjoyed being invisible. The knock made him mentally jump, but he kept up his hard work as he finished up with his room. Everything was perfectly tidy. The seeker then slanted his wings upward as he dusted himself off, especially where his green-stripes were. His engineer hummed, and then he opened the door as he uncloaked. On the outside, much to his astonishment, was the newly re-joined Crashcourse. According to data-files, she was mute and was a triple changer--as rare as could be.
Chaff gave a small bow as he selected his brother's voice, which could be very polite under the right circumstances. "I am Chaff. Can I assist you miss?" Chaff asked, letting his vertical yellow visor greet Crashcourses red optics. As Chaff gave the femme some more analysis form behind his mask, he quickly made note of her build, and how she seemed to be letting off friendly signals so far...
Chaff arose from the small bow, rising to full height. Over all, he was a very fine looking vehicon, with his sickles sheathed on his back, a belt of grenades, and of course his signature green stripes which stretched from his upper right wing to his lower left leg.

Examining Chaff for a brief moment, Crashcourse begun to motion what she wanted to say. Unlike most people, Crash used a very creative version of sign language. 'I need some help with an-uhh- bomb. The charge on it is broken, which its suppose to automatically recharge. Its not a consumable, but made to be used more than one time..'
afterma pause. She shrugged. 'Its a rare bomb if I may point out.'

((I will post on this account because I'm digging the profile picture.))
Chaff watched Crashcourses gestures, and took a moment to decode them in his helm as he replayed them over and over in his helm. He let out a puff of ventilation when he discovered the simplicity of it, and then motioned the femme inside. Chaff would have to continue to watch Crashcourses gestures to get the full version of her language though. The mimicker then set about responding.
"I see. Lucky for you, I'm handy with explosives." Chaff said, tapping his belt. Indeed, he held glassgass explosives, flammable smoke grenades, and all sorts of different mixtures of gasoline and such to keep his opponents guessing. Chaff held up a servo to be given the device, so that he could repair it. Of course, he would have to be careful so he didn't repair it too well, and blow them both up after wards. "Or just put the device on a table---" Chaff guided Crashcourse on some more, "Take your pick." Chaff said, outspreading his servos to show her the ten berths he kept in his room for the sake of inventing. Chaff himself was curious about this femme. He had never heard of her before, and though not many people had, he wanted to know what her game was. A Decepticon without a vocoder was rare...but was she here to seek power, or just be a spy to high command?

Taking what appeared to be a dimension bomb from her belt, the old cybertronian technology sprung to life in her palm. Rather than placing it on the table, the 25 foot femme handed it to Chaff. Dimension Bombs are hard to come by, expecially with this small of a size.' she motioned. 'Big blast range as well.'

Chaff held the bomb with cautiousness, and then placed it on the table extremely carefully. Even though it was not fully functional---Primus, your a beaut ya' little piece of machinery. Chaff thought, and then began to home in on the piece of technology using his visors features. As the femme had told him, the charge had been broken. Chaff just shook his helm, he would feel safer using the Phase ray in this situation, that way he could easily do what he wanted to with it and feel safe about not blowing this place up--but he couldn't be a wimp when it came to this little order. Not with the newbie present.
Somehow, she had found him, and not many people noticed vehicons, much less experimental ones. So Chaff had been given a shot to show her what he could do, and he intended to get some approval. Chaff pulled out some of his nifty tools from his subspace, and began to get ready to fix the bomb, and perform the delicate surgery on it.
"Okay, you got this little fellow back in your day didn't you? Before your stasis pod opened up to present day." Chaff took a first guess, although the secret of the whereabouts of the machine could revealed as he took it apart. it was a matter of identifying which parts came form where. Since Chaff was a professional at locating and knowing which city or market held the best materials, he could probably track where Crashcourse had retrieved this little sucker....should his first guess be false.
