The femme went quiet for seemingly no reason at all, she would think as she does very seldom whether, or not she picked the right side. That thought quickly went away, she always respected the word of a Prime, even if she didn't entirely agree with it, and plus peace though tyranny didn't seem like something she could support. She silently continued to watch the Vehicon work, unsure of exactly what the mech was going to do with her after his little examination was done.

Chaff decided he's put together the femme's chest plate armor again. He started fixing it, and even modified it's design some so that it could sustain damage from melting agents such as acids or plasmas. Because why not? She no doubt wanted out, but she'd been cooperative so far. So he'd give her a small reward, and since no one was watching him, he did what he wanted. The new chest armor would also be made of slightly harder alloys, so it would be more useful.
Chaff thus concluded his work on the femme. He'd seen what he'd wanted to. The vehicon with the vertical visor wordlessly cleaned up after himself, even brushing and dusting the femme off, and then moving onto repairing her damaged feet which he had blown up. He gave them a quick patch up job, not all that interested in repairing her completely, before he stood up from his work.
"Welp, it's been nice dissecting you and seeing what your organs look like. You best be going now." Chaff stated casually, like he was politely seeing off a guest. With this said and done, Chaff adjusted the berth, letting a few things click into place so that wheels would pop out of the bottom, before he carted her away into an opening ground bridge. This Ground bridge was actually opened right on the floor, so all he'd have to do was tilt the berth up a bit for the femme to slip out thanks to the laws of gravity, and since she was unbound. Chaff still let her be limp, until she would fall out of the ground bridge, then he'd turn the small device off so the femme could resume control over her body. Hence, the ground bridge was closed.
((I'll post on another thread soon.))

Genuinely,t things weren't running smoothly for Chaff. His A.I. alerted him with a few whistles, signaling him to the computers, trailing the vehicon away from his toys. The mech sighed before seating himself--to find that he would have to combine efforts with his own A.I. if he wanted Bishop Isle to stay in Decepticon control. Not one, not two, but three mother-fraggers were attempted t hack in simultaneously. Chaff widened his optics behind his mask.
"Oh no you don't." Chaff spat, before his fingers typed furiously at his own screen. He too contributed to the effort on holding up the Autobots, using his strongest security codes and other anti-viruses to counter-attack the Autobot's attempts while his A.I. began to upload the controls to Chaff other computers previously used for the dissection close-ups. He'd be anchorage of the laser turrets, and, well, EVERYTHING. Chaff bit his lip behind his mask. Primus, he had to do this. There were vehicons on that ship.
Speaking of the devil, he received a request for an air-strike, and other well-placed snipers, and even tankticons...Chaff granted the request to whoever had requested it--the guy had had some kind of number...like CT-2021?

Just then a signal is redirected to Chaff, it was instructions to give Backbeat remote control of the island's laser cannon...

In truth, System was a genius, a smart young talented mech...but he was young. He was perhaps one of the best hackers on the Autobot faction, but that didn't change how long he'd been at this. Chaff on the other servo, was gifted as well, he too knew hundreds of Computer systems like the back of his servo, and he'd even designed an A.I. to have the same aspects...behind Chaff's crazy layers of personalities rested a veteran, an elder, more controlled, and more sane veteran who only reared his helm when the time called for it. Chaff had been in the hacking business for centuries, before the Exodus and in the times of Cybertron. He'd hacked into Autobot computers, and played defender back and forth, through and through. The vehicon knew a vast assortment of tricks, and though Systemcheck and the other Autobots were slowly gaining more and more of a foot hold--this aforesaid veteran had arrived to fix what needed to be fixed. To mend and perfect his creation, this creation which he had toiled over too hard and too long for any Autobot to gain access to without a very large fight. The A.I. who fended off the Autobot viruses was no longer alone, and now worked alongside Chaff, the head of Decepticon Engineering.
As Viruses made their appearances, Chaff simply rubbed a spec off his visor before his servos typed in mad blurs. He had sent strong anti-viruses himself, along with his A.I., but like his A.I., Chaff saved the best for the last part; The grand finale. The Master whipped out his second best anti-viruses, neutralizing the first virus that came at his door step, breaking it in two. Meanwhile, his own viruses came out with the help of his A.I., finding backdoors and loopholes in the others arriving, fending them off. Another player had entered the field, and though the Autobots still outnumbered the cons, the playing field would be a bit more leveled now. Working in unison with his A.I., Chaff had to work hard to break down the 'Pocket demon' virus, countering it with anti-virus, firewall, and virus alike. He still had three big fat ol' defenses around the controls...and thanks to his and his A.I.'s multitasking experience, another third of the controls had been transmitted to his quarters.
While Systemcheck saw this whole thing as possibly war, Chaff simply still saw this as pest control. He didn't underestimate the Autobots or have pride, but he'd been at this game for much longer, experience coming into play. Meanwhile, Backbeat's request was answered, control to the Island's super laser granted, thanks to the control. As for CT-something-something's order, it was well under way. Chaff was still battling off the Pocket deomn virus, which appeared to be very powerful, but slowly and surely, it was breaking down due to the use of Chaff's own viruses, and other tools.

Chaff and his A.I. toiled endlessly over their screens, working as quickly as they could on the Autobot attacks, as to sustain control over their precious floating Island. Chaff squinted through his visor, starting to grin a little at his success, when death for computers checked in.
It was the ultimate virus, and just as he was done dealing with the first waves of raw nasties, the ditto-duo-of-death dropped decisively for demolishing Decepticon doings. * Chaff knew a doomsday device when he saw one.
"Oh brother." He muttered before everything went Hay-wire. Fortunately, he had assumed seventy percent control over the Island before the virus began destroying every fire-wall, and waking everything out. The Autobots had done it this time. The Island's GPS was getting messed up, it's systems going berserk, everything a messy jumble of uncontrollable non-sense, prone flying off on it's own.
"Drat you." Chaff spat, before he started desperately working on the virus with his strongest counter-measures. All the while though, the Island began to tilt some, and venture off into the distance; ocean bound.
((Challenge: *Say highlighted ten times fast.))

"Hoverdam." Chaff muttered under his breath as he saw the island thrusters go wild. Apparently, Mrs. What's-her-face Primal had said something like, "Calling in all Autobots, we need you to hack the Island." What the heck. These guys were so annoying. Chaff wasn't done yet though. If he wasn't having his way, he wouldn't let them have their way either. Self-destruction? Yes, that was the cliche', but not today. Today, Chaff hoped that the Autobots loved the water. With the remaining control he had over the Island, the Commander and his A.I. switched and secured enough of the command of the place over to Chaff for what he had in mind. The vehicon would request a ground bridge, leaving his A.I. to keep any hackers at bay while he attended to the matter personally.
The said ground bridge opened, as the A.I. continued to reestablish fire-walls as the Autobots seemed to be somewhat distracted with their victory. Chaff rushed through, letting it close behind him.

Post by Stalaken on Aug 23, 2015 0:20:39 GMT
The door of Chaffs chambers opened and allowed a Vehicon to enter. Each step the Vehicon took, the slower they were. Stalaken stopped his progress through Chaffs room and gazed around at all the familiar tools and computers. All of Chaffs inventions and little projects only reminded Stalaken of what he has lost. Not just a friendship but a fellowship. Chaff was meant more to Stalaken then his own life. He knew that Chaff may have been slightly insane but he felt that he was the most sane when it came to many situations.
Stalaken moved over towards one of Chaffs computers. As he touched the computer it crackled to life. The screen opened up and scanned his servo print and his optics. Then the computer unlocked for him allowing his access. He slowly combed through Chaffs many files and information not with anything in mind. He quickly got confused with the computers workings and turned around to find something else to look at for the computer was Chaffs world not his.
But he didnt move he just stood there. His helm slowly sank to his chest and he was filled with sadness, longing, anger and rage. Why?!!? Why did chaff have to be the one?!? Stalaken shouted in his mind, not showing any expression through his body. Chaff....... oh Chaff why did you leave me too? Now I have no one left. Stalaken felt like he could go right up to any mech and rip his helm off from his shoulders. The anger that was filling his body was a mixture of anguish and hatred for all the mechs who had wronged him. The only sign of his mighty rage was the slight clenching of his servos at his sides.
Now when Stalaken thinks wronged its not normal reasons. For if Chaff had died a normal death in battle Stalaken would not hate the mech who did it for it is the mechs job, to kill in war. But the way Chaff died was not by an enemy, no, it was our great leader Backbeat. He was the mech who back stabbed Chaff was he was doing his duty, his job and his purpose. Stalaken wished he could hurt that pompus mech just once, but he knew that it was his job to be strong when other would falter and succumb to there feelings and do something rash and stupid. Then Stalaken, in his uncontrolled rage turned around and started to type away at the computer. He knew what he was doing for once, for Chaff had made him practice this computer function many times, what for? Stalaken had no clue but in this moment Stalaken was very grateful. As he typed away he searched for something, something that the Decepticons had and did not wish to let anyone see. For Stalaken knew that if they did have anything of true value Chaff would have found it long ago and made instant access from his computers here. For Chaff cared not for protocol or rules, if he thought something was important and he wanted it he would find some way to get into it and learn all about it. As he searched Stalaken came upon a folder of Chaffs that read, GREAT COOL SECRETS, knowing chaff this was mostlikely a fake folder to throw anyone off if they hacked his computer but Stalaken clicked it anyways for he was intrigued. As he looked through the file he realized his first assumption was correct for everything he saw was just old photos of Megatrons pedes. Right as he was about to exit the folder he noticed a link in the corner of the folder. It was small and easy to miss but Stalaken knew this was just as Chaff would do it. Distract the hacker with random stuff as the true value information was right there in the open. He opened the link and it took him through some passwords and entered into a secure place of the Decepticons main information.
What he saw at first did not look at all important. For all he saw was a bunch of names with small hunks of information under them before the next name came up in the line up. Then he clicked on a name this opened a new page filled with words. At the top of the page was the mechs name followed by birth, age and families name and whereabouts. Then came the information that was the kicker, then it told of his likes, dislikes, intelligence, strength, weakness, thought process, an what he was most likely to do in certain situations. Stalaken stopped reading for he knew what this program was, and he knew what he was going to do with it too. He quickly scanned the room and found Chaffs stash of hard drives. Stalaken snatched one and ran back to the computer. He inserted it and followed Chaffs instructions. The information then began to be transferred to the hard drive.
As it worked Stalaken stepped back and gazed again at the room of Chaff his fallen comrade. This was Chaffs life his work and his legacy. Stalaken would never forget him or his reasons for most of his actions. The thought f doing what he was about to do contodicted his very fiber in his being, but he for some reason knew that he needed to do it. Later he would come up with a good reason but for now he was just following what he knew to be his gut feelings. The the computer beeped at his telling him that it was fully done. Stalaken took out the hard drive and turned off the computer. He then called a ground bridge and left Chaffs home. As he entered the ground bridge he was tempted to look back and feel again the sorrow he felt for his friend but he did not look and continued on forwards helm helm high.

Indeed, Chaff's computer was an inventory full of every dirty Decepticon secret that ever had been ushered or written down. Throughout his vehicon years, and in his time of command, Chaff had seized what ever he could get his servos on. Chaff had worked on about everything when it came to the computers. The vehicon had truly had a mind of his own, for better and worse. Chaff's A.I. had some of Chaff's thought-patterns imprinted upon it, and did what it was often used for: it cleaned up after another person, deleting any history of Stalaken ever being in the room. As far as anyone was concerned, what had just happened never came to pass.

A vortex opened in the room of the fallen Chaff and out stepped a Vehicon. Stalaken knew what he came for and went quickly to the computers, though he could not help but notice all the things that were in the room. Inventions not complete, completed inventions that should have never been completed and more. This was a sight he was used to but it still hurt. When he arrived at the com he went to work, typing away at the keyboard with a quickness. As he worked the com helped him in more way then he could have counted, with his certain purpose in mind the computer gave him suggestions and clues on how to make the best version of it as he could. With Chaffs helpful com Stalaken finished the work much faster then he had even hoped, going over the commands and entries one more time he hit the last command button and his creation started forming.
When it was finished it quickly went to do its job Stalaken had implanted into its programming. Now with his main plan done and already working Stalaken search the room. HE knew Chaff to have many weird odds ad ends in his shop and was looking for something useful he could us for his plan. He pulled ope drawer in which there was a tightly sealed box. On the top of the box there was a note, which described the contents of the box to the reader. Stalaken couldnt help but chuckle slightly for he knew Chaff put it there in case he forgot what he had put in this box. It read, " Here lies the pathway to the new age. Immagrons!" There was also fancy artistic cubes ad exclamation points all over the note. Hmmmmmmm New Age? Stalaken thought. So the Vehicon took out the box and put it in his subspace to ope later. He continued to search the room finding some other jems and nice items he could use later. he also scooped up a bunch of building blue prints form Chaffs pile of ideas hoping that one of them could be used for his own ideas. When he knew he was finished here, with one last galance at his friends work he walked through a ground bridge and left that lab space behind, yet again.
