Primus... what the hell is this place? Tetron thought as he glanced around the unfurnished quarter. It's gonna take weeks to fix this place up... the AI picked up a piece of metal that lay on the desk, simple and fashioned into an elegant plaque, Where do I find parts anyway? I'm gonna have to fix up the lock with scraps... and I HATE using scraps!
He slowly trod over to the bed, his feet gently lagging behind before an audible groan could be heard from his joints. "I HATE using scraps..." he muttered, before collapsing onto the bed and rolling over, his blue optics staring at the plain ceiling. "I wonder what I can take apart though..."
Tetron through himself upwards, reaching towards his kit and attaching the tools to his servos before climbing on top of his bed, reaching for the light that gave the dorm a sterile, white feel. It radiated an unpleasant white that hurt his optics, but soon, the room was pitch black apart from the faint glow from his narrow optics.
A small clutter of metal could be heard falling to the floor as the two blue lights descended to normal level and moved towards the door.
It slid open and the room was bathed in a darker, more natural yellow light revealing the mess of scrap on the floor and a hole in his ceiling. Tetron quickly opened up a panel on the outside of his room, directly below the number 1999 as he revealed a set of wire. Effortlessly, he placed a thin clip inside one of the wires, then, a sudden flash of sparks and a heavy clunk later, the door started to jitter and die.
"I can fix that..." he thought aloud as he placed the panel back over and moved over to the keypad, fumbling away the numbers before completely tearing it off and going back inside for the scrap metal left over from the light.
2 Minutes and a Lot of Fiddling Later
Tetron placed a small panel over the top of the open wires after clipping a few to the back of the pad and bolting it back down. It was loud, you could probably hear it fifteen rooms down, but alas, his new lock system was in place. He quickly propped the spine blade out of his servo and shortened it's length as he placed it in the hold in the panel. A few seconds later, the door beeped. Tetron looked over to his left and saw the broken door as the epiphany struck him that he still hadn't actual fixed the door.
