In the skies above Tyger Pax, a small freigther came crashing down, burning and getting torn apart by the velocity of which it traveled. It would hit the ground hard, tearing off even more of the already damaged ship. It skidded to a halt after creating a huge trench behind it. Emergency alerts were broadcasted from the ship, indicating that there were survivors on board. The question now was how long they'd make it. In their message, they did state that if they got help, their saviors would get what was left of their cargo, as thanks.
To reach the craft, you would either have to climb through the trench, or fly over it. You would also have to put out the raging fires, as they could damage the cargo and the survivors greatly if left as they were. Once the big fires would be put out, you would have to get in through the blast doors and put out the smaller fires inside the ship, before accessing the bridge, where the surviving crew is stationed, by either hacking the door or blasting through it with medium grade explosives (like a detpack or tank cannon).
((Since this is in an autobot area which isn't by the edge, only autobots can participate in this event. They will have limited time to do this, but they can't rush through it all either. Every section has to be completed in order and done separately. Each section will take a minimum of 2 posts to complete, making it go to a minimum of ten posts. The posts will also have to be a paragraph, or at least 6 full sentences, long to give it some depth. The reward for completing this task will be the ship's cargo, which in ths case is a heavy tank, which defenders can use to defend an important location from direct assault, and attackers use to lay down some heavy firepower and force defenders into regrouping out of its range. The timeframe you will be given is 5 days, 19th-23th of February. Good luck. ))

Upon arriving to the crash site, it was a sight to behold. Rangefinder circled the crash site two or three times, trying to find a safe way to put out the fire. The easiest way for him was to choke the flames out with his engines. He transformed into his robot form, fired off two tow cables at either side of the fire, then reeled himself in close enough to hit the flames with his exhaust. After that, he launched full force out towards the sky, using the tow cables to hold him down. The amount of exhaust he was pushing out his engine shsould be able to choke out the flames in now time.

Bolivian circled the crash site just as he did. He watched as he lowered how tow cables and hooked them on and started to chicken the flames. He caught onto the idea and tried his best to join in on chocking the flames out to aid rangefinder.

It took a good few minute to choke out the flames, but in time, the core of it was gone and it was safe to land. Rangefinder dropped himself down to the ground and started stomping out the small flames remaining while looking around for some sort of entrance. There were some blast doors in their way... Okay, just had to get them open. He started inputting passwords into the small keypad next to it until he inevitably gave up on that and hooked his tow cables up to one of the doors. This time, he was out to quite literally pull it open. Once he transformed, he launched away from the door, full force, trying to pull the blast door off.

Oblivian landed right beside him. He witnessed him trying to pull off the blast doors, so he pulled out his blasters and carefully aimed at the ends of the door where it would open to try and break it off by the hinges.

The door was budging, but they were still struggling to get it open. Rangefinder didn't have any better methods, so it'd take a little more work, but they could eventually get it open. He held his pace and awaited the door to come blasting off. Given how much they had already done, it was likely to be sooner rather than later. Only a little longer and they'd be in. Once they were in, they could finish the job.

Oblivian kept blasting at the hinges. He then noticed they were budgeting and took one last blast with each of his blasters before retreating a little easy as to not get trampled by the door when it gets blasted off. As he got farther away he aimed once more and did one more final blow of the doors hinges. With the final fire made the door came crashing down in front of them, causeing dust, ash, and any light debris to Coke circling up at the sudden gust of wind created by the falling doors. He looked up at Rangefinder.
"it's open! Ready to see what and who are inside?"
--------- If I wasent supposed to have the door blow open please let me know, still learning the ropes around here!

Rangefinder was flung back as the door came off. He quickly caught himself in the air and landed next to Oblivian. "Good work with the guns, let's get these fires out and see if we can't recover the crew." With that, he ran into the ship, stamping out the smaller fires as they went through, ignoring the ones that were dying out anyways. As he traveled through, they eventually got to a really, really, really strong door. "Sooo... Bad news... I don't think we'll be able to just shoot this door off... Maybe there are some mining explosive around we can use or something."

He smiled at the approval of Rangefinder. "thank you! Nice thinking with the cables!"
He then nodded and followed him inside until they came up to the really strong door. He looked at rangefinder as he spoke. "I did not see any on the way here. And I only have my blade and blaster on me. Unless you got somthing we would need to find out what else is in the ship before the crew inside gets chocked out if they are still alive"

Rangefinder investigated the door a bit, then looked to the console next to it. "You know how to hack into a door? If not, I guess we can just shoot the console off and pull a few wires." He started pacing back and forth, contemplating the options they had. He didn't find anything on the way in either, so it wouldn't be easy... This was pretty much a brick wall that they had hit.

He pulls out his data pad and looks at RangeFinder.
"well it isn't a specialty of mine, but I have a datapad. I use it to access public enemies and wanted lists but if you can work a tech piece good you could use it to aid the unlocking of the door. Not sure if it helps at all for you?" he hands him the data pad in case he would need it in the helping of unlocking it. That was about all he had on him

Rangefinder contemplated the datapad for a while... He wasn't too tech savvy, but he could get lucky... Though his odds were probably a fourteen out of twenty... Not good enough for him to succeed a door hacking check with his skillset. Okay, time for plan be. He gave Oblivian a smirk, flipped out one of his neutron assault rifles, and unloaded into the console. Somehow, that caused the door to open and they had made it to the end. "Thank goodness for convenient technology."

Oblivian smirked as he did. He closed one optic as the console blew then opened it again and smiled.
"convenient on all levels! Let's head inside and see how the crews state fares!"

They had made it just in time. The crew inside were saved. Not all, of course, but some were alive and ready to serve the autobot cause alongside their rescuers. The leader waved to the bots to follow them down to the cargo room, where he would unlock it to reveal the tank.
The tank was a medium sized one, able to fit five bots inside it, three in the turret and two in the front section of the hull.(Height limit of 25ft) It was armed with a large 600mm cannon, with a long reload. (one post to fire, two to reload.) The turret can turn a full 360 degrees vertically and has -7 degrees of gun depression and 15 degrees of gun elevation (meaning it can fire up a bit and down a bit, but not too much. So don't put it on a hill.) It is also armed with a 50mm machinegun to keep low flying planes and infantry away. For the speed, it is decent but nothing too fast. It won't rocket around the battlefield but isn't a sitting duck either. As for armor, the front is where it has it. The armor is rounded on the edges and sloped back to increase the protection. The sides are much less armored and the back has only a weak layer of armor as to not overheat the engine and weigh it down. It is however impervious to normal blaster fire and requires something heavier to punch though, like a regular tank cannon or a rocket launcher, etc. The front will take a beating, but can be destroyed by heavy firepower. The tank is also weak against explosives (aka bombs or artillery), making it an ideal targets for an airstike.

The crew manned their newfound tank. Rangefinder gave a nod to Oblivian, "That went well, so. Let's see what's go tank these guys to a place to recuperate." He then transformed into his vehicle form and attacked the tank to his tow cables, allowing him to carry it rather easily.

"sounds good to me, let's head on out!" once outside oblivian changed to his jet form and took flight. Keeping in contact to make sure that if range finder needed assistance hauling the tank, he was there to aid.

Rangefinder lifted off, carrying the tank with little to no issue. "Should we just take this bad boy to the front, or should we take it back to Iacon? Leaving the decision to you."

He paused on the responce for a moment. An actual autobot left a decision for him to make? One regaurding a piece of machinery that of this stature. He was beyond thrilled! Had it been proffesional he would have done a loop da loop in the air in excitement, however he needed to keep things proffesional and kept his excitement to himself. He would celebrate later. "well, in my personal oppinion. I'd say take the tank to the front where they need the most reinforcements. Takeing it back to Iacon will simply waste energon in the efforts to get it to the front lines anyways so may as well save on what we can in the long run. Let's take it to the autobots weakest outpost in the front" suggested Oblivian, keeping his cool. Vatimus Prime

"Good idea!" With that, Rangefinder flew towards Petrex, "Mind covering me on my way to Petrex? Place has seen a fair amount of battle with it being a huge chokepoint for both sides."

"of course! I'll be your optics in the sky! I'll let ya know if I see anything up ahead." With that, Oblivian flew slightly faster to keep infront of range finder and to make sure to get a good sight of what was to come up before them o their journey.
((Do we move to petrex thread now I assume?))
