Twitch stared at Blue for a moment, his index digit tapping his chin. His deep red visor lit up and he looked at the shuttles. He was not a fan of being crammed into a confined space with cons that could easily end him. After his shoulder flinched, he replied. "I suppose that would work... Very well then."The mech briefly saluted Bluewing before approaching one of the shuttles. "You, you, and you. With me." One of the vehicons seemed hesitant to be separated from one of the figures he was standing close to. A feigned lurch from Empress got them to smarten up. With his half of the squad already packed away in the shuttle, he turned towards Bluewing. "Try not to blow yourself up or hit any of our comrades, yeah?" Big words coming from a small mech. Twitch ushered Empress into the shuttle, annoyed by her inability to successfully step over the threshold. With one final grimace, the mech entered the shuttle. Not too long after, the transport roared to life. Bluewing

Windtalker followed suit, turning into a data drive that one of the autotroopers inserted into the terminal, but now the minicon needed time, not much however. In fact, Dash could likely remove him within a very short amount of time. The terminal was theirs, so it wasn't very decrypted, and the only difficult part was sifting through the information. He was mere moments away from getting them a complete map of the Victory, and if he had time he might be able to get more.
The bridge broke and Shatter began to lose his hearing, yet it lasted long enough for him to send one of his more powerful shrieks, the sound traveling through the air that was promptly sucked into the void at Harbinger and his team. They would get the full force of it, strong enough to burst audio receptors or at the very least stun them. They bottlenecked themselves, one of their primary faults. The effect of the shriek would take place before they hit the ground, and it's possible that they were rendered unable to do anything before they fell into Methuselah's trap. Shatter was visibly shaking, he was scared that it didn't work, scared he would die. He didn't know what to do. If the plan failed, Shatter was a sitting duck.

Dashside looked to the console, taking Windtalker out of it once he had the information. "::You can sort the direct location as we're going, but for now I need a general direction.::" The femme stated into their comm, getting the answer she needed soon enough. Turning to her Autotroopers, she pulled her Greatsword into her hand, with her Pairblade now floating at her side. "Alright troops, we're moving out. Reekmaru, I need you and Le Petit to get ready, you'll be invaluable in clearing our path." The two respective Autotroopers nodded, one being exceptionally tall and the other far shorter than any standard Autotrooper. The latter threw himself into a blackflip, transforming into a minigun that landed in Reekmaru's hands. The other three Autotroopers loaded their rifles, and giving the signal, the squad moved out, charging down the hallway they needed to go through. Reekmaru took point, though Dashside stood firmly at his flank. At the first sight of Vehicons, Le Petit opened fire, tearing into them with a barrage of bullets. Dashside made a strange observation - the Vehicons were running, rather than standing their ground, but not to mention they weren't selfishly trying to escape, but carry their wounded away. That sort of behaviour was very unbecoming of any vehicon, but the femme pushed it to the side of her mind. Leaping into the air with the assistance of her thruster pack, she cleaved through one of the Vehicons that was staying and fighting rather than running, slicing him in half. Continuing their rampage down the hallways, a schematic flashed onto Dashside's HUD, a direct pathway to their target. "This way!" She bellowed, turning a corner with her squad as she charged down it, preparing to carve up even more Vehicons. (( Pulsewave Shatterbeam Highwire | Livewire The Pet))

Fewer vehicons were returning from a certain area. Pulsewave didnt like that. The numbers weren't decreasing much, but it was still concerning. The decepticon medic asked for information to his assistants and vehicons, and was quickly rewarded with everything he needed.
::Pulsewave to medical assistence teams Atlas and Hera, I need reinforcements in the medibay. Please hurry::
::Pulsewave to commander Livewire, an Autobot intruder armed with a Great Sword and a team of sturdy autotroopers is making her way through our troops, judging on her direction the vehicons believe she is headed towards the thrusters. We require reinforcements in the area. Vehicons with more powerful weapons that tear through armour, please.::
::Vehicons in the area, my friends. Do not give up, surround them and target their joints and legs, more vulnerable. As well as their heads. They are sturdy but we are many and we dont leave behind our companions. I believe in you, we all do::
he sent them a message of encouragement, stopping a second to regard his gigantic friend and giving him a grateful look and a ping on his intercom.
::Slapfoot, friend, I am ever grateful for your assistance, thank you.::
The vehicons were affected by this, fighting harder, biting back, with their hopes up, knowing their sacrifice didnt go unnoticed. Even as they were teared down. They did follow Pulsewaves advice and soon the autotroopers were very surrounded by the vehicon hordes. Targetting their joints, and legs, and weapons.

Compass was a scout. A tracker. He knew how to be silent; he knew how to be stealthy. He knew perhaps way too much of the former and not enough of the latter. And perhaps that is why he and Whiteflier were currently in the scopes of Wheelspin. It was only lucky they were surrounded by a squadron of other seekers. Though true, such a large squad in close proximity to one another had caused the glimmer to be seen by Wheelspin, it was also now going to save their aft plates. As Compass diverted himself into a sudden downward ark after witnessing the fall of the hatch, he and Whiteflier were made painfully aware of the sniper fire when one of their company exploded. Energon fountains erupted, coating about three cloaked fliers in the vicinity and making them quite apparent to the unaided optic. ::WATCH IT!:: came Compass's voice over their two-way channel, panicking and doing an aileron roll as the second shot narrowly missed another of the Lambda team. A more experienced seeker took aim and fired, and the firework exploded as it attempted to follow its tracker programming and embed itself in a 'con. The third shot, aimed squarely at Compass, whizzed by at first. Compass banked in the opposite direction but now that he had his scanner activated, he could see the projectile turn back around as it tracked him. ::IT'S NOT LETTING UP! WHITEFLIER--:: He was cut off as he was forced to do another roll, the shot nearly clipping his wing during its second pass. Whiteflier was able to take the initiative, and shot it down before it was able to do any more damage. Compass pulled up sharply; he was not one of the seekers to have been drenched in energon, thankfully, but whoever had ordered those shots had not needed such a mud-slinging tactic to spot them. ::Autobots are tracking us,:: said Compass, flying perpendicular to the orientation of the Autobot's ship; in other words, straight up. ::We have to get in there now before they fire at us again.::Taking leave of this brief reprise, the Decepticon seeker forwent his cloaking. His shimmering disguise dropped as he diverted all power to his thrusters, speeding towards the breached hatch and their goal. He managed to zoom inside the opening to the flight deck while transforming into robot mode before another shot could be fired at him, his heel struts skidding against the floor and making an unpleasant wailing sound. He grabbed his pistol and swept the whole room, firing at just two stragglers. They fell, and as they did Compass swept the room in the opposite direction, watching as Lambda followed him inside. But then...what was happening outside? Both his shoulders and his weapon fell as he stared past the group, out into the battleground of the two warships. ::Um...umm...look at the Victory...::Optics widening, he and the others bore witness to Livewire's plan. The spikes adoring the outer plating of his native ship shifted downwards and quite ferociously impaled the ship that bore his opposition. The ship's sudden jolt sent the seeker stumbling to the side; he threw his hand out and braced against a nearby console to prevent himself from toppling over. "What...I guess that takes care of...the hatches...?" Compass all but whimpered to his partner, staring at the now-obstructed hatch. Whiteflier WheelSpin

Whiteflier and the rest of Lambda went and followed Compass example, they dropped their disguises to make their way safely into the hatch. They were soon inside, all of them. Compass, Whiteflier and lambda. The field medic couldn't deny he had been terrified, scared for his life and that he would never see his blue companion ever again. But luckily, another vehicon had taken the shot. ::Rest in peace, A-787.:: He whispered into the comm. They watched as the Victory, majestically, charged forwards and dug its spikes into the Regenesis hull. They had to take support on each other and the walls not to fall forwards. And Whiteflier hurried Lambda and Compass further into the Regenesis side corridors, hidden inside manteinance hatches until the shock had passed a bit and they could continue making their way to the Flight deck. ::At least we're in::

The Per's ears and fur perked up, giving it the humorous appearance of a porcupine. He sped off, whether or not Highwire willingly followed or was dragged was another thing altogether. The Pet and Highwire were two of a kind, they enjoyed the brutal mutilation of those around them, purely for the fun of it. His fur and ears returned to their normal position, as they were nearing the target. If Highwire did her research, she'd know what should be done. Stay still, and act as if The Pet had no control, and was a raging beast waiting to maul as soon as the chain was released. In reality he could snap the chain at his leisure. Highwire would feel a tug, The Pet was trying to cross the corner. When they did, any Vehicon that caught sight of them ran for their lives. Somehow, somewhere along the way the creature ate something. Highwire couldn't have noticed. Nobody could have. But there were chunks of something in his jaws, and it was dripping on the floor.

In response to the instantaneous counterattacks of Vatimus's two compatriots stopped Harbinger from instantly killing most of the bridge crew. He rushed Zeta Squad, moving in with his scatterblaster in one hand and his photon burst rifle in the other. He unloaded both weapons into the entire squad before drawing his shield and literally diving onto Harbinger with the shield extending out a bit. After firmly placing the shield on Harbinger, he'd climb off the shield, activate his extra struts, holding him in place, but allowing him to apply more pressure to Harbinger. This is essentially giving him one direction to shoot, the stairs and nothing major or fatal to the ship. Vatimus turned his head to Shatter and shouted, "Get Scatter in here and tell him to be careful coming in!"
He then looked out one of the flickering viewscreens and saw a bunch of... Giant spikes!? This isn't fair! He turned to the pilots and shouted out a new order, "Veer left! Veer left! We need to survive!" He didn't care how annoying it was to repeat himself at the moment, it was clear that this was rather hard on him at the moment, the battle was taking it's toll on everyone, event Vatimus, who could feel the pressure of the battle on his shoulders. They weren't winning yet, and the only way to change that was to keep in the air and tough it out the battle.
He had to keep holding down the problem in front of him though, if that problem got free, they were all in trouble. He went back to bracing fully down on Harbinger, praying to Primus this piece of scrap doesn't escape.

The troopers closest to where the seekers had been revealed, were notified of the probability that they might attempt something other than just a fly by. Well the one in charge of them was, with a direct ping, similar to the one Wheelspin had received earlier. Even the turret, so close to Wheelspin that he had used it partially as cover and partially as backup, had aligned its sights on the now visible seekers in flyby. The barrel of heavy artillery that it released on them was nothing like the sniping before. The interest was for mass destruction rather than individual shots. It unloaded shot after shot as they began to ascend along the ship. Then as the other ship came nearing the turret - still just above the impact zone focused instead on shooting into the hull approaching to deliver as much damage as possible to it at point blank range. ShadowZone flew out of the way as well, dragging one of the vehicons along with him. He dove for the engines at the back, only to fling the tattered body at the port side one, and then disappear off into nothingness again. On the other side trooper were being gathered at the entrance to the flight deck and certain areas on it, that were filled with other flier drones ready to join the attack or to repel whoever attempted to enter the ship. There were some also sent to the location of the breach. They'd wait of course, until the command was given, and then get rid of the ones that had attempted to enter. But that was not all, the four missiles that trailed the squad earlier, flew right after them, into the ship through the opening that they've used. Once the targets stopped moving, the missiles did not. Rather they found what they had trailed after, Whiteflier, Compass and two other Lambda vehicons, exploding on impact. (Previous post: 4 missiles from SZ (not reacted to), 3 sniper shots from WS - have been acknowledged by Compass) Whiteflier Compass

Post by Harbinger on Jul 24, 2017 15:48:13 GMT
When Team Zeta breached the Autobot bridge, Shatterbeam's counterattack hit them full force disorienting the team and sending most of their midfall shots wide with only one of the group succeeding to get in a lethal shot against a member of the bridge crew, while two others hit but failed to deal critical damage. To add to their failure upon landing many of the armoured squad found themselves struck within range of close proximity EMP mines. With the group of fourteen members having jumped out of a moving vehicle at speed they'd landed far from each other, causing a few to completely miss the mark while others landed within the EMP range but found themselves aside Autobot's caught in the same blast. Out of those who didn't fall into the last two categories, two of them where blown to pieces by Methalusa even as six more where wiped out by a charging Vating who slammed into Harbinger a moment later.
That wasn't to say the group personally handpicked for what was a suicide mission where useless however.
Vating's hectic charge left him unable to watch as one of his shots, heading towards a disorientated Zeta member was blocked. The EMP pulse that weakened them having hit an Autobot as well which became an impromptu shield, causing the burst rifle to punch through the bridge crew's armour rather than the Decepticon behind him. Allowing that same Decepticon to fire off a round of their riot cannon which connected with the chest plate of an unfortunate guardsman close to the communications ray which found itself sprayed with the remains of the corpse.
On the other side of the room having had the luck to roll into cover after avoiding being hit by EMP's two of the armoured team began launching their own assault, their heavy duty assault cannons leaving devastation in their wake as they shredded entire control stations to get through to the enemies behind them. Then they fired again this time together at the elderly mech who's speech had synchronised with the EMP assault. Their fire providing a distraction for another member who found themselves firing a similar cannon towards the disorientated Scatterbeam.
While in the centre of the room Harbinger continued to fire, the EMP pulse having temporarily short-circuited his cognitive functions and leaving only a berserker who allowed all of his weapons to fire blindly. One catching a member of Zeta squad, and ripping them to shreds before Vating knocked into him. Forcing Harbinger to the ground even as a torrential flood of weapons fire covered the bridge blasting ineffectually at the corner of the room, until a swarm launcher fired. The dozen thermo-energon missiles that left his chest-plating flying forward until they exploded with the wall, their deadly payload consuming feet worth of armoured plating to leave a vortex of space begin to grip hold of those inside, including the mech who'd fired at Scatterbeam as only moments after firing he was ejected out into space while Harbinger watched, the metal around his lockdown mode groaning.

To Epsilon's pleasant surprise, the journey into the engineering section of the ship was uneventful. Only a few blockades existing between them and the groups objective as squads died under their vicious and sudden attacks. Though that wasn't to say everything was a breeze, as the wounds on one of their members Dusk told the tale of one fight that had lasted long enough for the group to sustain damage. At least before Shadow-Strike commited, his form becoming a blur and enemies falling with only a haze of air to link with their dieing forms.
Now though they'd reached the point of no return as they hurried forward, the dirt and debris their hurried movements formed creating a heated mirage behind them. Ahead of them laid the engines, though they still had to pass more than one blast door on the way. Many of the rooms such as escape pods and science labs where ignored for the moment. Though at least one room did catch the groups attention.
The room in question held, the ships core. An important location on the ship due to the danger it possessed if directly struck while also being the primary source of power for the entire vessel. Such a position though was heavily reinforced, with massive armor plating that covered the entire room as well as gigantic blast doors that would have held against the strikes of a combiner, and even a titan for a time. In short a direct assault would be suicidal.
Even then it was considered, as the squad slowed down aside it only to catch on that Shadow-Strike was charging forward ignorant of the room.
"Sir, the ship's core has been located. We should attack."
::Not for the moment, we have more open targets. Let them wear thin first.:: Shadow-Strike announced as the group was forced to follow. A few minutes later they arrived in the engine room, a vast cavern that was easily more than 120ft from floor to roof. It's entire form possessed of an uncountable amount of pipes, cables and support columns each of them which seemed to be situated around the forms of the ships thrusters. At such a close range the enormous structures seemed to dwarf the Decepticon's even as it rumbled with power that kept the entire floor rattling. The noise only less terrifying as the plating held together despite the force that shivers through their own forms. Enough that for a moment Shadow-Strike seemed to flicker out of existence, his technology faltering even as other systems continued to work preventing him from being located through scanners. ::The explosives?::
"Just setting them." Announced one of the group, an until now silent Revenant who upon transforming revealed to be carrying large detpacks which when removed from his backplating seemed to take up a quarter of his mass. "We might want to retreat."
:In due time. Will they be long.::
"No, we'll be done in a few minutes."

After his shots at the fliers heading for Regenesis and shifting his location as the Victory was being avoided by a hard veer to the left, Wheelspin's optics stopped on the ship that was in the approximate location of where the bridge also was supposed to be. His orders were clear, take the aerials out. But a ship technically could be considered a flier, right? A much, much bigger, non sentient flier and the one sitting on top of the bridge was clearly not supposed to be there. He slung his rifle over his shoulder reaching into his subspace. He worked fast, using the paint, the pressurised gas container, the container filled with the chemicals which made the acid pellets possible, connecting them with the cabling, and then tying it onto three of the explosive spearheads which he bound together. All this had one purpose. To make the explosion much bigger than it would have been, had only the spears been used. That was up until the explosion had opened up a hole in the Regenesis and the ship was no longer the issue there. He paused and instead of waiting for longer, sprung into motion. The spears he prepared for the shot exchanged hands, while the grappling head replaced the point. This was then aimed at the close proximity of the newly made hole. He fired. The moment the head latched into the torn hull he was yanked forward at a speed that would have been uncomfortable for most, while Wheelspin just grinned flying along. The space offered zero resistance, which was even better. The moment he flew over to the hole he grabbed onto the damaged hull metal that had been wrenched up by the blast, stopping his flight abruptly. He looked inside, spotting Harbinger, a Con. Wheelspin pulled out of view. Vating apparently had it under control, and to do anything, would have only impeded on his work and possibly endangered the bridge. So instead he turned upwards to see where the nearest enemy ship in flight was. A pod of vehicons of any sort would do. Finding his target he launched that spearhead package at them and then proceeded to get out of the way of Victory, moving along the hull to find a good location to return to sniping aerials. (edited because apparently Vating is covering Harbinger with his body and shield.) --------------------- Somewhere else in Regenesis ------------------------- The alarm was sounded the moment Shadow-Strike and his troops proceeded towards the engineering section. Reports followed even if blockades fell, notifying Vating of the progress. More troopers were being assembled, the bigger and bulkier type, that were heading towards Shadow-Strike's location to engage and slow the progress of the enemy. On the other hand, it should have seemed a little, suspicious that their progress was as 'easy' as it had been. Something was off. But what? The ship's own defence systems seemed not to have been as active as would be expected either. Almost as if the attackers were being allowed in, lead into a trap perhaps? Vatimus Prime Shadowstrike

Tearing down yet another wall, Sky kept his voyage throughout the ship, rampantly destroying those lonely vehicons who weren't aware that he was there. Unfortunate beings, Sky didn't actually have anything against them personally, they were just always on the wrong place. These times didn't allow for being picky though, everyone between him and his path for revenge had to die. There was no way to work around it. He grabbed the next vehicon by the helm, shoving it straight through a wall and then yanking the body downwards so that the wall cut off the helm. He left the broken body where it fell and gazed onwards. He could take either a left or a right in this intersection, which way was the right one? He thought about it for about three seconds before choosing the right one, throwing a small greande into the other direction to delay eventual cons coming from that area. He rushed onwards, colliding with another door. The door didn't last long, his heavy tank cannons made sure of that, blasing the whole thing out of its frame. Nothing would stop him, nothing.Looking out through the window, things weren't looking good for the bots. The bridge was being attacked and their forces weren't repelling the enemies enough. Why did it go bad once he left command? He vented again and wondered if there was something he could do to help the bots not get slaughtered too hard. The sound of the cannons were loud and... wait.. cannons! Cannons require ammunition, and that had to be stored somewhere. He now had a goal, and if his calculations was right, Tarn could no longer deny his whereabouts. He moved closer to the windows, trying to spot where the cannons were and if he could find the ammo racks from there. The answer was negative, he could not do that. The answer was no, sadly. That just meant he had to try harder to find it. He had no idea where to look though, so there was that issue. A squad of vehicons approached him from the left, shooting at him with their tiny blasters. How cute they looked, still firing as Sky raised his arm and let his minigun do the talking. He lowered it at the same time as the bodies hit the floor, marking more lives lost. A shame. Sky kept looking, breking down two floors doing so until he found what he was looking for. It was no tiny room either, not at all. This room was probably feeding the entire lower side of the cannons with ammo. Gigantic ammo. He smiled genuinly behind his mask now, this was almost too perfect. He walked into the room, admiring the machinery working. Truly a masterpiece, even he could see that. He had always had an interest in weaponry of all kinds, and new good work when he saw it, which made him sad that it all had to go. He walked up to the closest machinery and began to tear apart the outer armor on the canisters, exposing the actual ammo. Sky put a grenade right next to it, making sure it was safely placed and wouldn't roll away. He then used the leaking energon to form a trail from the ammo to his position, as he kept walking out, out and away from the ammo to a secure place, aka a few hundred metres down the hall. That made hm still be able to see if anyone entered the room and run away once it all hit the fan. Once he was sure verything was clear, he shot the ground, sending sparks flying and igniting the energon, the flamable liquid quickly spreading the fire down the line. He also quickly made sure than no flames spread to him, as that would be bad too. He moved away quickly now, breaking the line where he was and thus preventing the flames, now high as half a bot, still lower than the FPE would detect, from reaching him. He sent a comm, an open comm to the cons in the ship, even though hs own was filled wth rubbish. He didn't need to hear himself. :: Hello, cons. Tarn wasn't here so I thought I should give the old son of a glitch a gift. Have a good day everyone! ::He kept running away, as fast as he could, into the ship, not caring about who saw him or who shot him. He had to get away quickly before... BOOOOOM!!! A big explosion shook the ship. The flames had reached the grenade, which in trun blew up and caused a chain reaction with the ammunition. The explosive materials inside them exploded from within their chambers, causing an even larger reaction going through the side of the ship, along where the ammo was being loaded into the gun. And not only one gun, but the entire lower section of guns. Unfortunately for the cons, a wing was situated there too, which got blasted straight out as a big cloud of fire enveloped the lower side of the ship. The vehicons caught in the blast were simply evaporated, as the ship took heavy damage. Through the edge of the fire, before the automatic Fire Prevention Equipment kicked in, There was one mech walking out, a slightly burned but still functioning mech, with grass green optics. Maybe they had gotten his message now. (( Highwire | Livewire Pulsewave ))

Wreckage flew through space outside the dueling ships, ducking and weaving between other bots and the missiles they shot. Enemy Autobot after enemy Autobot fell to the fire of his cannons. His orders were simple: kill as many of the enemy as possible, no matter where they were. And Wreckage knew how to follow orders, especially when they involved combat. He flew directly towards the Regenesis and blasted a small hole into the side, and before the shutters could close, he was inside. Glancing around the enclosed corridors, he noticed a group of about five Autotroopers running down the hallway, obviously towards the bridge to deal with his comrades. Wreckage grinned, and raised his left arm. One blast from the shotgun took one of them down, and the others turned to face him, surpised. C'mon. They charged at him, coming in from different directions. Wreckage drew his axes. The first Autotrooper to reach him got a sharp edge directly in the chest. He stumbled back, energon emerging from the gaping wound on his chassis. The Autotrooper fired one last shot at Wreckage. The Decepticon was, at present, savaging another trooper who he had slammed into a wall. The shot hit him in the side, and Wreckage growled in pain. He flung the dead autotrooper onto the floor and jumped on his comrade, slicing through his processor as if it were butter. He turned and fired two shots at the remaining Autotroopers, who had broken into a run. Two of them went down with holes in their chests. The final trooper took a moment to look at his fellow bots in shock, and then turned to continue running. He was too late, for an axe hit him in the shoulder, slicing through it and clattering to the ground. Wreckage advanced towards him, grabbed his head and ripped it off. Thanks, Autobots. It was fun.A sudden flash caught his eye, and he turned to look out of a window. A huge explosion had engulfed one of the cannons on the Victory. Wreckage stared on in shock, but the feeling didn't last long. He grinned again. Whoever had done this would make an entertaining opponent. He smashed through the reinforced window and transformed, flying as fast as he could through space. Once there, he flew through the massive hole and transformed, entering a scorched hallway. He could vaguely make out a scorched, damaged figure at the end of the hallway. This would be fun. (( Skyspray (Aquahaze), Highwire | Livewire ))

Livewire narrowed his optics when he received a notification that one of the control terminals was being hacked. While it was too late to prevent the information from being taken, it did give him a location, and it was close enough to the breach to be plausible. Yes, it must have been their intruders. And they had downloaded a map to...::I am aware, Pulsewave. I'm sending a stronger squad to your location now. Highwire and the Pet will also be there.:: He reassured the medic. He viewed this as an annoyance that would be dealt with quickly, if he knew his sister well enough. He pulled up a map of the Victory and directed bulkier Vehicons to Pulsewave's area. He couldn't let their medic be damaged. ::Highwire, I'm giving you the exact location of our intruders. Be aware; they have upgraded Autotroopers, and one of them has a Greatsword.::He took a moment to vent properly, trying to brush off the pressure the battle was beginning to pile on him. He closed his optics, optic ridges furrowing slightly. No, he wouldn't let this overcome him. Never. He opened his optics again, but when he did, he saw something. Once again, outside the bridge of the Victory, another Seeker could be seen floating in the vastness of space. 'You have got to be kidding me.' His wings twitched, and he sent a Seeker to retrieve him. Hopefully, this would be the last he had to deal with Starscream- oh wait, was that the sound of pain in his audio receptors?::Starscream! Continue to give orders, and I will paint a target on your back for our Seekers!:: His outburst conveyed his frustration clearly. ::Thundercracker is injured, and Skywarp leads the Seekers. You will shut up and assist Skywarp.:: Why, why couldn't Starscream have been blasted further away? That wasn't his biggest concern right now, though. He switched to the cameras and saw an Autobot on top of the Regenesis. Right by Harbinger's ship.::Intrepid, fly out to the Regenesis' bridge and attempt to retrieve Harbinger.:: Things weren't going as smoothly as he thought they might with Harbinger, but he was prepared. What he wasn't particularly prepared for was the explosion that wracked the Victory. He gripped the command console tightly as they rode out the force of the explosion. He growled as he swiped up the damage report. Lower cannons and wing taken out, eh? The Victory began to tilt, unable to keep balance with one of the wings taken out. It tilted towards the Regenesis, and with the force of the thrusters already going, the side of the Victory slammed into the Regenesis. With the spikes deployed, this served to damage the Regenesis even more, but the Victory did not fare too well itself. Without cannons to defend itself, that portion of the ship was now more vulnerable. Primus, they even had trouble flying straight now. He tried to adjust the thrusters to keep them steady, but then he received a notification. He slammed his fist onto the control console, now that their primary weapon had finished charging. A single, 150ft cannon emerged from the Victory, blossoming like a flower in spring. It thrummed with power as it positioned itself to aim at the Regenesis. With a loud, resounding boom, the cannon fired. The shot landed itself on the Regenesis' main cannon battery and exploded upon contact. The explosion damaged the smaller surrounding cannons with the impact. Now that they had retaliated, he could get to work wiping out their newest threat. Skyspray. And he had the audacity to drop a comm. ::Tarn, tie up that loose end already.:: He commanded in a low voice, clearly unimpressed that he had been allowed to get so far. He could see that a Decepticon signal was already with Skyspray, but if Tarn was what he wanted, Tarn was what he would get. Highwire threw her helm back and laughed as the Pet sped off, the chain pulled taught now. She had heard stories about this turbofox, and she was glad to be partnered with him. Probably more glad than being partnered with an actual partner that had 'morals'. She scoffed at the mere thought, and took pleasure in running behind the Pet, able to keep up with him. She eyed the trail of fluid dripping on the floor and grinned, impressed by him.::Oh? A Greatsword? Nice!:: She replied to her brother, excited at the prospect of fighting another melee fighter. She received the coordinates and decided to flip into her alt-mode, the chain becoming embedded within her when she transformed. It was her turn to pull the Pet along as she sped off down the hallway. She was too fast to be stopped in her alt, instead crashing through any Autotroopers that stood in their way. When they were close, she transformed back to bipedal mode, briefly checking that the turbofox had survived the trip.
Of course he had, and she lead him to the hallway where Dashside and Windtalker were, along with their Autotroopers. "A little birdy told me you've been naughty." A gentle smiled played on her lips, contrasting her previously wild behaviour. She stayed still, gripping the chain once again in her servo, waiting for the Pet to act first. Already, she had begun sizing up Dashie and Windy, her optics subtly tracing over their frames.

On reflection Shadow-Strike would probably best describe the engine room of the Regenesis, once past the natural sophistication that went with any flagship regardless of faction, as basic. It's thrusters where large and powerful, but neither where they the best with their size wasting energon in numbers that became unfathomable over time due to the necessity for the gargantuan forces required to reorientate the ship in space due to it's bulk. It was almost as though in response to the problems that the ships size created, the follow through was to upscale anything that may have even slightly influenced the ship in a positive manner. In response the engineers had been forced to spread their resources, as the defensive plating on the outside that at least protected it from exterior threats was bizarrely absent on the inside as no real protection against accidents or as was the current case, sabotage, existed.
With his current task remembered the mercenary began to step towards the engines, entering the center of the room as the squad moved around him. Their weapons primed and ready even as he wrapped his servo's behind his back and paced forward. Only to stop a few seconds later at one of the terminals that overviewed the condition of the central engine. ::Now, Revenant I find myself curious about the state of the explosives. Do you feel inclined to share?::
"They're already primed. I just need to select a good spot." He replied in response, a light shrug as he held the explosives in both servos moving slightly quicker than the rest of the group as he headed towards the maintenance shafts that where currently locked behind blast doors, at least until he raised his servo against the door and they opened. Their fortified bulk moving in almost excitement as Revenant hacked the system while Soundwave continued to pierce their systems defences only making the openings larger.
::That will do.:: Shadow-Strike accepted as he watched the Decepticon disappear from visual perspective, before he turned towards the original spokesperson of Epsilon squad. ::Now I believe I gave one of you something of mine, it has by now decided to open itself up naturally. I wish you to move it. Near to the memory core if you would mind.:: Shadow-Strike requested in a voice that seemed almost genuinely friendly as the scout placed a small cubical item against the memory core of one of the engine's control monitors. The moment he stepped back though the device expanded, four spider like appendages spurting forward to pierce into the machine and anchor itself against the memory core.
"Excellent." The assassin said afterwards as his head suddenly whipped around towards the blast doors, and one of the only entrances to the engine room. "We have incoming movement. I shall provide a distraction, please proceed to your positions so we can be done with this business."
With a nod the mech's began to move, taking up positions around the main thrusters. Their positions allowing an overview of the battlefield even as it would discourage the enemy to fire as a single misplace shot could damage the mechanical structures. In contrast Shadow-Strike simply began to move forward, continuing till he was in the center of the room as two thermo-energon blades spurting from his gauntlet's their heated edges hissing with an ominous rattle.[ WheelSpin ]

:: Understood, my Lord. I will rescue the fool. :: Intrepid answered Livewire as he swung around the Victory towards the Regenesis. A rescue operation was not his preferred duty, but he was in no position to disregard the orders of his superior, not when he was still without reputation here. His thrusters reconfigured to manœuvre the close areas he was flying into. The recently created breach in the hull at the bridge would make a clear path to enter and grab his quarry.
As he neared the breach, he charged his energy manipulators, the crystals embedded in his armor began to arc with energy as the gathered charge increased. He would no doubt need to be ready as he dived into the gunfire. His armor began to split and shift as he transformed, diving through the breach and landing inside on his pedes.
The charged energy he had gathered was immediately expelled, forming a durable bubble shield around Intrepid. Through his visor he scanned the room and located Harbinger in a pitiful state. What sort of Decepticon is this to warrant a rescue from his own failure. Sighing, Intrepid stood up confidently, staring in the direction of the Autobots. I have come to collect Harbinger from his defeat. You will release him or die, Autobots, I care little which you choose.

The ship's internals wailed to life. The entrance torn asunder by the turrets, emergency shutters flared to life and began sealing the breach. Combined with the Regenesis' auto-repair functions, the hatch was going to seal itself and remain nonfunctional for quite some time...most likely the entire duration of the battle. The missiles had managed to worm their way in before that happened, though. They hit falling pieces of debris, detonating unintentionally early while the shockwave sent the entirety of Lambda team reeling. Thanks to Whiteflier's quick thinking, he and Compass managed to avoid the brunt of the explosive force by diving into nearby maintenance corridors that sealed behind them; it didn't save them from being blown across the length of the hallway, at least a hundred feet, an then landing by skidding across their faceplates. The seekers in a line behind them were knocked over like dominoes, falling one on top of the other and eventually crashing right into Compass himself. Compass got dogpiled.. Grimacing, he waited as the stealth team slowly disembarked from the pile and started pulling each other up with him as the last transformer to regain his footing. Once stood again, he realized that another of their number was missing. "Where is..." He stopped, the answer to his question coming as a secondary set of doors slammed closed. He looked up at them, then away. It was just him, Whiteflier, and three remaining squadmates. His visor flashed to life, turning a bright orange color indicating that it was scanning their immediate area. "There's an entire troupe heading our way." There was no way that was coincidence. The Autobots had been alerted to their arrival. "Whiteflier, if they don't already know where to look, it's not going to be hard for them to figure it out."Compass lifted his hand to the side of his head. ::Commander Livewire, we've infiltrated the Regenesis. However, the Autobots have been made flagrantly aware of our presence. Disabling the bombers...:: He trailed off for a moment. Admitting that he had failed--again--was the last thing he wanted to do, so he decided to omit a few details. ::...will take longer than anticipated.:: Significantly longer. ::We're going to be encountering heavy resistance in a moment. We've lost two seekers. And the fact that the ships are now stuck together means we have to take the long way around.::With a small flinch, he lowered his hand, waiting for his cee-oh to yell at them, give them new orders or ignore them. Vatimus decided now was the time to get Harbinger off his ship. He got over the shield and got his servos under Shadow and he worked to pull the mech out with all increased strength from his deployed struts. In due time, he'd be able to yank the 'Con loose and fling him out the hole he created for himself. He saw Wheelspin fire the spear to him and decided to hold off on actually throwing until AFTER the spear is either destroyed or hits Harbinger. When the spear is gone, Vatimus would make his final push and fling Harbinger out the hole and into space. If this were successful, his shield would drop and he'd rapidly pick it up and raise it to hold off any sort of counterattack, only to see Intrepid land seconds later and have to point out to where Harbinger was going. His companions could hopefully take the rest of Zeta squad down. With that, Vatimus turned around and opened fire on whatever members of Zeta squad are left until they are dead, very dead (If they aren't already). He went over to see what was making all that racket and saw Shadowstrike going down the hall, and a few foolishly brave Autobots preparing a counterattack. He let out a groan, then said, "Shatterbeam, gather a team and make sure the engines don't go down! If they do, do what you can to save even one of them!" He then fell over as a massive irking sound along the Regenesis as multiple decks were shattered in an instant. Vatimus looked out one the remaining viewscreens to see that the Victory had rammed into them with their spike weapon. That was bad, and possible a fatal blow... He looked to the remaining pilots and said, "Veer up, we're riding them down, they'll come at us again soon." The pilots nodded and pulled the Regenesis up enough so that the Victory's second slam will slide the Regenesis along it and hopefully drag them both down. Dashside and her squad continued to make steady progress down the hallway, though their movement began to slow. There was an increase in incoming Vehicon gunfire, and soon the group was pinned. The femme, remaining towards the front, continued hacking and slashing through nearby targets, giving them wounds they wouldn't recover from, such as a bisection or decapitation. But even then, the squad was only barely making it down the hallway. "Is it just me, or are these Vehicons fighting harder?" One of the Autotroopers cried out, maintaining a stream of gunfire from his rifle. "Harder? They're fighting smarter! Watch your joints!" Another of the Autotroopers responded, though it seemed as though his advice came too late for his friend. A bolt of energy clipped the joint in his knee, exposing a vast serious of wires that sparked and frazzled. He cried out in pain, falling to his knee as one of his comrades tried to help him up. "Come on! We can repair it back at base!" His hand outstretched, it was taken, and the Autotrooper pulled his friend up. "You and I know there won't be any back to base at this rate!" his optics darted around the room, as his right arm reached down to his left hip and began tearing away at his own armour. He ripped out a large chunk of it, then pressed his hand into his exposed wound, drawing out a detonator and planting his finger on the button. "I'm going in! I'll try to buy you some time!"The Autotrooper who had helped his friend up tried to plead with him, but he wasn't having any of it. Turning, Dashside looked at him, and her pairblade floated in front of the mech, acting like a shield. In that moment, she caught a glimpse of Highwire and the Pet, but had other things to worry about. "I'll protect you on your run." She called out, receiving a curt nod. "Thank you, it's been an honour, all of you." Turning to look back down the corridor, directly at Highwire, the wounded Autotrooper began to hobble down the hallway, most of his body hidden behind the shield, but not all of it. Blaster bolts bounced off the pairblade, and some of them caught parts of his armour but he didn't care, the pain was nothing now. Determined to save his friends, the Autotrooper charged down the hall, his shattered leg sparking as he dragged it along. As he got ever closer, the fire directed at him increased, and he would be inevitably shot down. Regardless of that, when it happened, his deadman's trigger would activate, and every single explosive in a pouch on his body (of which there were a lot, 19 pouches full of explosives, to be specific) would open, and detonate simultaneously. The blast would be huge, devastating to those in it's inner radius, but those towards the outside would have a better chance of survival. Even then, Dashside was counting on the structural damage that would be left in it's wake to temporarily halt their pursuers, given them time to move on. As the explosion rippled across the hallway, Dashside's pairblade returned to her, though not in time to stop a stray blaster bolt catching her elbow. The wound wasn't critical, certainly not like how the Autotrooper's had been. With a renewed spirit, spurred on by their friend's sacrifice, and said sacrifice putting a temporary stop to attacks from behind, the squad could focus on what was ahead of them. Now, gunfire would start to pelt the Vehicon defenders, in addition to the slashing of Dashside's blades across their bodies as the squad of invaders pushed ahead to their target location.
