Ability Description: Damage Tolerance's main weakness is that it has no effect on small arms fire, while greatly reducing the damage inflicted by a heavy impact, such as a missile, rocket, or cannon shot. Medium weapons, such as an assault rifle or shotgun would deal slightly reduced damage.

Weaponry
Primary Weapon
Havoc Cannon x2 [Tank Cannon+]
Description: These twin mounted 150mm equivalent cannons fire excessively large rounds and can either be used in line-of-sight modes, or as an NLOS fashion (ie; mildly less accurate mortar fire). The cannons can only be fired simultaneously if they have both been allowed to chamber a fresh round. This is usually done to open an engagement, rather than constantly throughout. Commonly Thundertread will open with a simultaneous blast from both, and follow up with later shots from one cannon, and then the next. This alternating fire methodology allows him to continually wreak havoc and ruin upon his foes. These weapons mount behind and slightly above Thundertread's shoulders, rotating forward and above them for linear fire, and upward for mortar fire.
Secondary Weapon : Multi-tube Riot Cannon [2 tubes each] x2
Description: This is a heavily modified version of the standard Riot Cannon, employing 4 tubes that can each be fired individually, or all in one volley to blanket an area in explosive, hot death at a moment's notice. In tank form, these are mounted behind and above his tank cannons, and when in robot form, they attach to Thundertread's upper arms, aiming upward.
Other Weapons : Electro Bolter, concealed.
Description : Launches a harpoon projectile that pierces and knocks back its target. Victims of the Electro-Bolter rarely get back up. This weapon is concealed inside of Thundertread's left shoulder and deploys on command, linking with three pinpoint laser target designators on the left side of his head.
Gadgets :
Thundertread utilizes Holomaster targeting assistance technology to enable more accurate placement of each and every round he lets loose. Additionally, he also utilizes a medium capacity reserve ammunition constructor, which when depleted must be given time to build more ammunition.
Melee:
The Hammer: A massive, two handed hammer containing a modified Thunderclap Sonic Blaster that is only able to be triggered when the weapon impacts an object- that can mean either an Autobot, a Decepticon, or the ground, or a random worthless human building. The modifications to the Thunderclap change it into the Thunderhead Crowd Suppression Core, and rather than inflicting damage or relying on soundwaves to vibrate the structures of victims, it uses a more powerful, low frequency burst to outright knock targets down and/or away from Thundertread. While the blastwave itself can cause damage to weaker Transformers, it is unlikely that tougher ones will suffer from it's use.
Predator Blades: A pair of retracting Thermo Energon blades that deploy from between the second and third fingers on each of Thundertread's hands. These are mostly a last ditch weapon that are only utilized when in extreme close quarters, or all ammunition is expended.

Personality :
Thundertread is surly and rarely actually speaks. There is a reason why he is called Growler; he growls more often than not. Overall, even Decepticons regard him as unpleasant to say the least, but nevertheless, extremely reliable. He follows orders well, and almost never voices an opinion- if he has one. Many Decepticons regard him as stupid or primitive, due to his lack of speaking, let alone emotional range.
Courage: 9
Thundertread is among the last to quit the field, only doing so in utterly overwhelming odds. In the face of annihilation, it depends mostly on numbers. 1:1, he will walk calmly in, uncaring whether or not he will live or die. 1:100, he will lay suppressing fire and retreat calmly.
Charisma : 2
As was said previously, this Decepticon is surly, unpleasant and generally not liked. He speaks only when it is actually important to do so.
History
Thundertread was being built when Iacon city fell to Decepticon rule, and was initially intended to be a field engineer, capable of building, repairing, and upgrading Autobot structures, weaponry, and frames. Yes, you read that right. Originally, Thundertread was an Autobot, and later reprogrammed into the ranks of the Decepticon army as a heavy duty killing machine. Though, a small portion of his original programming remains.
Family :
Vating - Sibling
Rangefinder - Nephew
Gnirav - Sibling
Strengths :
- Courage Under Fire; Even in the face of overwhelming odds, Thundertread does not so much as flinch.
- Tactical Approach; Rather than rush in like a fool or lunatic, Thundertread prefers to analyze the best or most damaging way to engage an opponent or group of opponents.
- Fight For The Right Reason; Thundertread only fights for a reason, be it one he believes in, is programmed to fight for, or is tactically or strategically valuable.
- Ruthless; In battle, Thundertread intends to achieve victory, because of or in spite of his allies. He does not kill for no reason, but when he kills, it is done in a brutal, but effective manner. To him, overkill is underrated.
Weaknesses :
- Unlikable; Be it through a concerning level of disregard for friendly fire, or a seeming lack of communication skills, Thundertread is either disliked by his Decepticon comrades, and in some cases, outright opposed by them.
- Strong Silent Type; As previously stated, Thundertread rarely if ever speaks, unless required to do so, or it is felt to be important.
- Hurt; Thundertread delights in causing pain and suffering, be it to himself, his 'allies', or his enemies. In other words, he is sadistic.
- Arrogant; Thundertread quietly believes that he is simply superior to all other Transformers, with very few and rare exceptions.
SAMPLE RP
Awareness. Consciousness. Existence. As these realities dawned upon the product of Soundwave and Shockwave's alterations, the newborn Decepticon warrior's basic-most programming ran it's course. A simple check of weapons, armor, installed subroutines, Spark status, and so on. Eyes of deep purple flickered, and burned fully to life. The idea, the concept of a name- His name, dispersed through his entire form, massive as it was. He was Thundertread. And in his wake, the Autobots would quake in fear. His arrival would harken the end of their pathetic lives. For he was the harbinger of their annihilation. The room was empty. The building had seen a fair share of conflict prior to his awakening, but remained functional. Understanding of his location, dawned as well. Iacon city, on the planet Cybertron. Home of the Transformers, both the mighty, deserving Decepticons, and the weak, wretched Autobots. The mechanized mandibles around his mouth flexed and flared wide, mouth opening after. Thundertread stepped away from the station he had been born at, power couplings snapping free of his body, and armor plates sliding into position to cover the ports. Head rotated left, and right, taking in the room. Empty. Silent, and still. Like a tomb.
Ironic, and fitting, that he would soon fill entire mausoleums with the sundered remains of Autobot filth that would dare stand in his way. Or any Decepticons that were foolhardy enough to not steer clear of his blast zone. His cannons cycled their first, fresh rounds into their firing chambers, and he became aware of the rest of his armaments, which is to say, not that much. Ah, but what can one expect when just less than a minute old? Sometimes, you must earn better tools of your trade.
