Yorlam shrugged to Zain, "Nah, I'm not too worried, though I do enjoy company." She then casually turned towards the docks, deciding to go along the docks as it was the fastest way and she was excited to get this journey started. She decided that running the entire way would wear her out, so she went for a leisurely walk down the docks. Maybe people followed her, maybe they didn't, doesn't affect much to her at the moment.

All Zain would do was hold up his hands, his fingers curled and tensed as he bit his lip with rage ((I actually do this IRL xD)) Alright Fennekin, if you want out of the Pokeball, fine, hop up onto my shoulder, but please don't combust any more vegetation. It draws attention. he said, rather calmly, to his Pokemon. He would then look to Yorlam's rapidly vanishing figure and just shake his head. The girl was probably going to get herself in trouble, but ah well. If that happened, there'd be someone to save her.

Dray responded to Yorlam as Dray looked around to see Zain's Fennekin bursting out of it's Pokéball and setting the vegetation on fire. Dray felt sorry for Zain as the crowds of people looked on at Zain. Dray then turned around to see that Yorlam had began to walk off to the docks. Dray made a quick jog there to catch up. As Dray was at the docks, he took the time to look at the water. Tirtouga would love the water. But the possibility that Tirtouga might get in trouble with the other Pokémon- or even the workers- that snuck up for food was quite high. Probably best for Tirtouga to stay in the ball. Dray looked at Zain. He remembered his uncle having difficulty with his starter Pokémon.
"Y'know, my Uncle's starter Pokémon was quite rebellious at first when he set off from Pallet Town. I won't be surprised if your Fennekin turns out to be like his."

Fennekin huffed with a puff of smoke as it kept up with Zain, albeit reluctantly, it seemed the small Pokémon had little in the way of respect for Zain, but begrudgingly was following him. The few Dock workers that could be seen, loading and unloading cargo to and fro, watched the small group pass them, often either curious or annoyed at their presence near their place of work, as if they may hinder them somehow.
Obscured shapes moved through the waters the group walked beside, likely Water Types looking for food to steal. Any interest in this would be taken away however, as a loud bang rang out in front of the group. Looking ahead, several shapes flitted about in the shadows around a recently tipped over trashcan, searching for any scraps of food. Though the occasional grumble from the dock workers was uttered under their breath, no-one chose to deal with the new mess. Many of the Dock Workers clearly had no Pokémon, and that left them disadvantaged against the creatures that had upturned the trashcan.
As the rummaging continued, a discarded sandwich was flung out, one of the shapes moving out of the shadows to reveal itself to be a Wurmple, sniffing the ground as it followed the sandwich's movements.
Wurmple
Abilities: Shield Dust
Moves: Tackle String Shot Poison Sting
The Wurmple caught up to the sandwich only to be nearly ran into by a charging Karrabast, who grabbed one end of the triangular sandwich as the Wurmple grabbed another, locking the two into a fierce Tug of War.
Karrablast
Abilities: Shed Skin
Moves: Peck Leer Pursuit
The pair's tug of war was stopped as a flash of light blazed out and struck the sandwich, reducing the item to ashes as the pair looked to the third shape, illuminated by a single glowing eye and it's own flickering purple flame. A Litwick giggled to itself at it's prank as it watched the two seething Pokémon from the shadows, serenely bobbing up and down in mid-air.
Litwick
Abilities: Flame Body
Moves: Ember Astonish Minimize Smog
The trio of Pokémon began to spread out from one another, blocking the way for the group. These three were likely to fight, thought the Litwick seemed to be more pleased with itself than the others. The group would have to either find another way around, or fight their own way through. Catching was a possibility, but some may vacate before they could be caught if not challenged quickly. |

Dray saw the three Pokémon appear infront of him and the others. These were Pokémon Dray was not fully familiar with. Yet there was one Pokémon he was interested in catching. The Karrablast. Dray first pulled out Tirtouga's Pokéball and threw it in the Karrablast's direction. Dray would also pull out his Pokédex and aimed it at the Karrablast to gather any information he could on the Pokémon. While getting out his Pokédex, Dray spoke to the Karrablast as he quickly gave his Tirtouga a command to attack.
"Karrablast, I challenge you to a battle. Now, Tirtouga use Water Gun!"

Yorlam stopped in surprise of the small pokemon. She looked them over in excitement, eyeing the Wurmple. She pulled out her pokeball and smiled, "I'm gonna catch you Wurmple." She then tossed out Deerling and smirked, "Let's catch it Deerling!"

Zain would look at his Fennekin with soft eyes Look, man, I'm sorry you got KO-d okay? But I really wanna become the champion of this area, and I think you'll be a really big help in doing so. So please, help me out here? he said, tenderly, before spying a Litwick. Zain's eyes would take on more of a tense look as he straightened his jacket Alright Fennekin, let's challenge that Litwick, prepare for battle! he proclaimed, pointing at the Litwick.

Dray's Tirtouga materialised already combat-ready, moving right into his ordered attack against the Karrablast, who had leapt to attack the Wurmple. Tirtouga's Water Gun hit the Karrablast in mid-air, forcing the small Pokémon backwards, impacting against one of the floodlights along the pier. Getting back to it's feet quickly, the Karrablast bared it's teeth and growled loudly at the Tirtouga, clearly this Bug-type was very short-tempered. Karrablast started with a Leer, shooting Tirtouga a look that could melt steel. Tirtouga visibly shuddered, nervousness taking over as it felt itself less inclined to attack.
Yorlam's Deerling skipped around a little, seemingly far more joyous than it got a chance to show before. Seemingly not realising there was a battle, Deerling skipped in a circle for a few moments before the small Pokémon ran straight into a Poison Sting from Wurmple. Wincing in pain, Deerling seemed to start to wobble as the Wurmple merely stared at the poisoned Deerling.
Fennekin seemed disinterested in the trio in front of them, until the Litwick dashed through the air to hover in front of Fennekin's face, the small smile never leaving it's face as it raised it's stubby hand and moved to strike, causing Fennekin to flinch. Before the small Pokémon could react, the Litwick used Astonish, morphing it's face into a terrifying visage and yelling suddenly and loudly as it shot a ghostly dark beam from it's eyes, impacting Fennekin at point-blank range and causing it to yelp and jump back in fear and pain, trembling even as the Litwick's face returned to normal, as if nothing had happened.

Yorlam couldn't help but giggle at Deerling's playing around. Well, up until it got his by the poison sting. She then said, "Deerling! Use Grass Whistle, then tackle it!"

Dray saw the Karrablast use a Leer attack. He frowned as he saw Tirtouga get hit. Dray straightened his hat as he gave Tirtouga's next command as he checked his Pokédex for type match-ups. Rock type moves were super effective against Bug types. And Rollout was a rock type attack.
"Don't worry Tirtouga, use Withdraw to raise your defence back up to negate the Leer. Then after that use Rollout. It's super effective against Bugs!"
Dray said while attempting to convey his confidence over to Tirtouga through his tone of voice.

Deerling raised it's front leg, blowing into it's mossy fur as before, the Wurmple's staring eyes starting to lower and flutter closed as the Caterpillar-like Pokémon curled up and begun to breathe heavily, clearly fast asleep. Deerling put it's foreleg down and charged the sleeping Wurmple, connecting as it sent the Wurmple flying into the trashcan it had been rooting through just earlier. Deerling adopted a wide stance as it begun to breathe heavily, the poison draining at Deerling slowly as it began to breathe heavily.
Tirtouga began to Withdraw as Karrablast used Leer again, negating it's effect. As Tirtouga gulped nervously, it began to withdraw into it's shell, spinning rapidly like a spinning top as it advanced on Karrablast. Bracing, Karrablast watched the rapidly spinning Tirtouga come closer before leaping into the air at the last second, bringing it's horn down on top of the spinning Pokémon's shell in a Peck move, causing Tirtouga to ping off and hit the corner of a warehouse, deflecting to stand in front of Dray again, emerging from it's shell with a shake of it's head as it tried to clear out the cobwebs.
Without instruction, Fennekin merely shuddered as Litwick breathed out a thick cloying smoke, using Smog as Fennekin began to cough harshly, finding it hard to breathe in the opaque smoke, as the choking smog dissipated, Fennekin was surprised, and slightly relieved, to see the Litwick had vanished without a trace, causing Fennekin to collapse as it fought to clear the last of the smog from it's lungs.

Yorlam smiled and said, "Deerling, stand back now, you're fine." She then run up to the trashcan and tossed the pokeball inside with a bright smile. Right on the head of the sleeping Wurmple. She wouldn't worry too much about healing Deerling just yet as she wanted to make sure the Wurmple was caught first, then she would be racing straight to tending to Deerling's wounds.

Dray gritted his teeth as Tirtouga was hit with another Leer, negating the Withdraw. The counter-attack against the Rollout was also not great. Seeing that Tritouga was at his feet, Dray bent down and helped his Pokémon with removing the cobwebs. Since Tritouga was right next to him Dray was able to whisper to him so the Karrablast couldn't hear the strategy. "Okay Tirtouga, I want you to use Rollout again, but when Karrablast jumps, I want you to use Water gun. Think you can do that, buddy?"
