BASICS
Designation : Astrinal Nicknames: Ast
Gender : Femme
Faction : undecided Occupation : Black Ops / Special Ops
Personality : part I - naturally Astrinal isn't the brightest person anyone will meet. By nature, she is stern and battle worn. She keeps everything about her in check, and keeps a professional manner to her. She hardly smiles to her compatriots, and looks over everyone with a watchful eye. it's almost as if she's judging you- yet not.
Around closer allies, and some friends, Astrinal has a dark presence to her. She acts like the typical anti hero. Darkly humored, smokes quite heavily, and drinks like there's no tomorrow. At times of war, Astrinal isn't afraid to share looks with her closest allies, or to simply nod.
During her moments of anger, Astrinal acts as a true decepticon. she's not afraid to kill or get her hands dirty. She has experiences of pushing around foot soldiers when they defy her, or do not listen to direct orders. everything she does is for the autobots. With no family, or even a trace of a life after the war- Astrinal isn't afraid to loose anything. But if someone doesn't take the war seriously, Astrinal will take immediate action, even if it goes against her superior's word.
APPEARANCE
Optical Color : Ice Blue Primary Paint Color : Green Secondary Paint Color: Coal Grey Third Color: Black Height : 25ft.
Features: Over the course of Astrinal's body, she is covered with various shades of green, grey, and black. The paint is scratched and dented, mostly from many years of war. Due to common habits, Astrinal doesn't seem to care what she looks like, which is also why she doesn't look as shiny as most prefer to be. Astrinal's color scheme overall is dark. Hard to see at night, in a luscious green biome, or in murky water. In other words, it's an easy paint job to blend in, camouflage mostly.
Astrinal's body structure is a tie end mix of all three types of ranges: short, medium, and long. standing at roughly 25 ft, Astrinal's body is awkwardly in between thin and bulky. She has enough armor to keep her protected, but not enough to weigh her down while engaged in short range melee combat. Most of call Astrinal an all around warrior, about to adjust to nearly any situation.
Astrinal's helm and faceplate is narrow, holding a set of icy blue opticals and a series of battle scars. She has a visor, a slightly air dynamic helm design, and a chin plate.
When in combat, Astrinal's armor is one of the thee most valuable things she has. Like all transformers, the armor protects the exoskeleton and vital body parts. Infact, from previous experiences, Astrinal has stressed on protecting some of her most valuable body parts, like the spark or the tcog (thanks vos). So in words, Most densest parts of her armor are the chest, midsection, and lower body are covered in armor. The least armored sections are her face and thighs. But the face has a retractable mouthguard, and the thighs have built in holsters.
On some areas of Astrinal's body, underneath the first layer of armor is a second layer of retractable spikes. these are used when she is up close, and decides to body slam or kick/punch her opponent. There's no place on her body where spikes are always shown. Examples of the retractable spikes are in the hands, bottom of the peds, and even the knees.
Astrinal's armor is made of nothing special. Efficent when needed, so to speak. though due to it's density, Astrinal can take more damage than most. Not that she ever does.
A major weak point in her armor is the neck and forearms. These are two very easy targets during close or long ranged combat. Around the front and back of her neck, the last layer of armor is visible, as well as some cables. to bring a knife or electrical device to this area could prove to be a vital weak point in her armor. As for the forearms, several pieces of the armor stick off from the base to make a slightly abstract plate design. but by grabbing the extended pieces, one can redirect a life threatening hit or move her momentum in mid air.
Alternative Mode: A Lotus Elise
EQUIPMENT AND ABILITIES
Weaponry : part I - guns - corrosive shot guns: a pair of shot guns that have decomposing factors to them. They can easily eat away at armor. Fairly similar to acid. - dual handguns: handguns with normal and laser type ammos, depending on the effect Astrinal wants. - EMP swat assault rifle: a normal assault rifle with laser like shots. Has an optional stun mode. - pyrnek sniper rifle: a standard sniper rifle with a shrapnel affect after impact. - grenades: your average grenades. types are sticky, emp, shrapnel, and standard.
part II - melee - energon katanas: dual katanas used to slice away her enemies. has switches to have a burning effect, which is used to increase the speed of slicing through armor. - Throwing knives, Stars: throw able weaponry. there are normal, grappling, and explosive throwables. - Chakrams: ring devices used to slice enemies. Has a anchor device to return to the owner. Astrinal has a hand setting to protect herself from the blade, and to rethrow the chakram at high speeds. - daggers: your usual daggers, uh.
Gadgets : - visor enhancements: night vision, heat seeking, and motion seeking ( can slow time to react to things easier. The difference isn't much. It only decreases the speed of current events by a few frames. ) - Target Assist software - Amplified Communication Device: an enhancement that allows Astrinal to contact through a commlink underground or in jammed areas- if high enough. If used, has a use time of two posts, and cooldown time of three.

OTHER
History : part I - early history Before Astrinal had joined the war, Astrinal had been a citizen of Paradron. Being a planet controlled by the Autobots, It was also a world that hadn't been touched by the plagues of war. This gave Astrinal little knowledge of war when she was just a child. Astrinal was the child of a merchant and a scientist. Astrinal herself didn't follow the path of either of her parents. But she had a secret admiration with tactics. When at school, or doing things with her childhood friends. She'd always try finding her friend's weaknesses and using them against them. The best memory of these days of when she'd figured out her big brother's weaknesses and took him down with a kitchen spoon.
When Astrinal got older, she'd left Paradron for Velocitron for a short while. She'd lost contact with her parents, but not her brother. Her brother went to Velocitron with her, because he wanted to be racer. Astrinal didn't see any use in his dream, but he insisted that she joined him on leaving the planet. Astrinal accepted his request, and the two left Paradon for Velocitron. While her brother was easily 18, Astrinal was 15. For the short while the two were there, Her brother, Quick-Blade, became one of the best racers known on Velocitron. Astrinal, not so much. Astrinal kept studying in other things, such as Cybertronian history, old holomaps, and learned the art of fighting and War. This came to use when she turned 17, and she joined the war.
Astrinal was at first a Decepticon, going by the name Trailblazer. she joined the cause due to their more advanced field of strategy and technology programs. She had no intentions of fighting for them, which she kept herself as a techy at the side lines. She strictly avoided many as best as she could, such as Soundwave or anyone who possessed high rank. This gave her silent advantage over many, which she learned how to eavesdrop and intentionally learn things she shouldn't. She questioned her loyalty soon afterwards. Finally making a decision that her judgement had been wrong at the beginning, she deserted and left the Decepticons quietly. Astrinal, being one of more shadowy invisible types, her superiors didn’t notice her missing after a week, which gave her an advantage with time.
Her head start didn’t last to long, hence her deserting reached the audio receptors of the DJD. It only took 3 months for the DJD to catch up with Astrinal on Varas Centralus, which Astrinal surprisingly put up a good chase and fight. The fight wasn't anything historical, but rumors were told she'd left a large knick in Tarn’s faceplate, specifically underneath one of his optics. Soon after, Astrinal was dragged back to the Peaceful Tyranny and torture. She was soon presumed dead after a good, long mental stand. Astrinal’s body was dumped in the sea of rust, which her body was found by a traveling autobot messenger. The autobot checked for a life signature, and indeed there was a small ounce of strength. She was bridged and brought to Iacon, which she was brought to life and sworn allegiance to the autobots.
Astrinal started out as a low ranked scout, her specialty being strategy. Over the course of a few years, Astrinal made her name for her knowledge in explosives and knowing how to outsmart her enemies. As Astrinal became smarter, she climbed the ranks. When Cybertron had fallen, Astrinal adventures on the ark.
part II - earth [rp story arch I]
during the exodus, Astrinal had slowly turned to the spy field. Phasing as a muted demolitionist named Crashcourse, Astrinal remained undercover in the decepticon ranks over most of the exodus, and a little bit of time on earth. After a swift exchange with Gearchange in Japan, Astrinal was flushed from her undercover identity by the DJD. For a series of days, Astrinal had been hunted by a mech known as Cutup, a mercenary for the sadistic group of supposed cleansers. But after an encounter in Canada, Astrinal was captured and taken captive by Vos, who tortured her. After taking her tcog, Astrinal almost made an escape through the air vents. But without a warning, she was killed by Vos with a handgun. A swift death.
Astrinal's body was later recovered by a rescue team lead by her partner in crime Taggon, who eventually brought her back to life with his artifical spark.
Over the series of a few years, various events took place. The revival of the A-19 Strike team, a near draw duel with her partner, a battle with a floating island and a DC flooded. Over time, the Head of Surveillance slowly forgot what it was like to be a decepticon, and she so close to being normal.
Then, without reason, she went AWOL.
NOTE: I TOOK OUT THE SIDE PLOT COMPLETELY!
Strengths : Deductive Reasoning Deductive reasoning is a logical process in which a conclusion is based on the concordance of multiple premises that are generally assumed to be true. Deductive reasoning is sometimes referred to as top-down logic. When Astrinal uses this (mostly during an interrogation), she gets an idea of whether a person's interests are good or bad.
venom tongue Astrinal has a natural effect at persuading and convincing people without trying. Astrinal has various forms and ways of executing this strength, which it can be by either casually stating things, or forcing the information down during an interrogation.
aft kicker Astrinal is heavily skilled in the various forms of martial arts and sword fighting forms. Knowing so many forms of combat can make Astrinal unpredictable in combat, keeping her opponent guessing. Over the course of a single fight, Astrinal's fighting stances change frequently, constantly adjusting to her opponent's attack patterns.
Weaknesses : headaches suck?! due to Astrinal's armor structure, the weakest parts of her armor are on her head, neck, and shoulders. So by shooting her in those areas, you'll surely make her leak energon.
stop drop and nope Astrinal's ability to change constantly during combat can be used against her. Her weakness to her strength is long ranged opponents, those who use sniper rifles or have an affinity of short range transportation. Unable to get close to engage with her melee choice weapon will most likely anger Astrinal. If that's your goal, then you've succeeded. Most of the time that isn't a good thing.
hot head Astrinal has a very bad temper. If a person has 'crossed the line'- whether they are a little child or an allie, Astrinal isn't afraid to kick the living hell out of them. It is an urge from her 'con days to act tough, and if they didnt believe her, she would kick the crap out of them. but now that she's an autobot, not that she remembers, Astrinal will probably loose it without even knowing it.
SAMPLE RP
war. war never changes.
The Himalayas were frigid, a pain to her cogs and her processor. Astrinal shoved her way down the mountain side to her camp. She regretted choosing such a barren wasteland, a mountain of all things. However, it wasn't the temperature, or the terrain that bothered her... But the isolation. As Astrinal made it to her camp, she forced herself into a small opening on the mountain trail, a cavern entrance half buried int he bizzard snow.
Astrinal welcomed the light of her spotlight as she entered her temporary camp. Five months of isolation, three of them on this mountain. The other two were foggy, unclear memories that she had no intention of remembering. She liked to think of them as 'flashbacks', pretending that they werent real. That was the thing, she knew they werent real. Being poked at by humans wasn't a likely thing to happen anyways- right?
I'm falling to my own insanity. She thought passively. delightful.
As she sat down at crate, no doubt her 'desk', she eyed a certain cybernetic walkie talkie on the table. She cringed for a moment. As much as she wanted to, she feared they would pick it up. Im sorry taggon. my friend. she thought to herself. After jotting a few notes about the day's events, she turned in for the night.

I would really like if you used the regular template. It both gets easier for me to check and, well, that's the application we use. Didn't you make it too? XD

Skyspray (Aquahaze)Honestly, I used the one off my old app, which was a mirror of the old app (without the color codes, which I dont like) I can color the section names if you want? However, the reason Im not using the app that I made is because of the color codes. It's just- eh... But yes, the app still does have the same field. unless it doesnt?

I'm still going to ask you to use the regular app format. It gets much easier for me to check it that way. And people won't wonder why one app looks different.

Okay. She cant be both a car, a jet and a bike. The masshifting is too big for that to happen. And her getting killed again... And then revived... No. If you want her back, don't kill her off. That's never a good idea. You can not learn everything about a bit through looking them in the optics, that is just plain meta-gaming.

alright. The "Reading people through optics" Thing, It is still pretty meta-gaming. And you need one more weakness. And how do you mean, Slow down time? And I'm not sure about comming through jammed areas....

Okay, let me try to explain it
When I think 'slow down time', I only think 'decreasing the amount of frames you see a second'. The visor slows things down for Ast by only a few seconds, so she's able to react to things easier. Is there a bullet coming at you? well, when Ast turns on her visor, she'll be able to see it, but she still might have trouble dodging it. However, if it's a swiftly thrown punch, Ast will be able to react much faster.
So it's nothing drastic. It has a one post use and one post cooldown.
Also, I took out the flyrokinesis ability. IDK what I was thinking XD
Also, dont poke me on that missing weakness. Im workin' on et.

Maybe the cooldown on the comm thing can be 3 posts instead? That way it is balanced a bit more.
