The TFG Staff would like to propose a new character application, streamlined and simplified for accessibility to novice Roleplayers tempted to stick their toes in the water, but intimidated by what may seem to some a wall of requirements, that must be finely tuned and balanced.
Note that if this application is received well enough by the community, it will not replace the original application. All applications both approved and unapproved will not require redoing. The original application will remain as a "Detailed" variant available to anyone who feels they would prefer it.
Edit:
Almost forgot to mention, this is a WIP, and may be subject to tweaks.

This app looks like a quite more smoothed out and kinder version of the previous app, which spanned about as long as a river. I do like the changes, and I think that rpers will have an easier time filling this one out...
But I must ask; what occurred to the armor part of this app? Or would one simply have to fill out the more complex app if he or she had a few ideas to test out for armor.
I am guessing that if someone had a simple design for armor, like six inches of solid iron, then they could just put that as a feature or add a category themselves~

Simple mistake, was quickly redoing lost progress when I had been forced off the computer and the tab closed on me by someone else. Anyway, tweaked now. Armor was decided to be removed as it generally just resulted in certain characters shrugging off weapons fire or just falling apart depending on the situation. It didn't benefit anything.

That is strange news to me, Avernus . I always thought that armor would provide a stable explanation for why one could have such a good endurance, and it would provide details on how you could defeat the cybertronian at times, if one put enough detail into the armor. I always looked at armor as a great thing to experiment with. I'll say maybe at times I got too fancy, but, making a character's armor, the thing that protects that character, could result in works of art. Take Lady Death's cloak. Okay, that's not armor--but the point is it was her defense mechanism, and I always thought it was clever how her cloak absorbed the energies of the blasts, and the energy of any sort of laser fire, all the while being able to be shredded or cut through. If you are saying that armor only resulted in those two things, then I'm guessing you're removing armor from the larger app as well I am supposing?

I feel the tech specs must to be written, like strength, firepower, accuracy, ect. Maybe the 60 point thing won't apply in this new app, but at least this would help to have a balanced character

Was more of math than story writing.

Hello Eurodancer Prime! The site may seem kind of hard to navigate at first but it gets easier as you use it more. Well first you can go to the Home page, then scroll down till you see the WORKSHOPS. Underneath the WORKSHOPS you will see three options to click. Character Workshop, Character Spot light, and Sub-factions and groups. You will want to click on the Character Workshop link. After clicking it you will be brought to a page that has quite a few more options to click. But the one you want is called Character Creation Board. After clicking that board, you will then again be brought to a page with two boards called Completed Applications- Awating approval, and Character Applications ( Under construction). You will want to click the Under Construction one. That will bring you to the place that you can start. OR If all this is too confusing you can just use this link. transformersgalaxyrp.freeforums.net/board/88/constructionOnce you get there you will need to create a Thread, and that button is located in the right side of the screen. Right above the little search bar.

Quick question, if it's not to late. Only just realized it. Will a similar template be given for Canons?
