Since MECH is cutting up bots, I think we should have something like this. Every Cybertronian is like this, unless specified otherwise.
Sensors:
Optics: Two cameras taking in light of wavelengths 390 to 700 nanometres (aka visible light to humans, from violet to red). Information is then sent through wires to the brain module where a 3-D image is formed. Optic cleansing fluid will be emitted if necessary, or under extreme emotional conditions.
Audials: Two microphones taking in sound of 20 to 20000 hertz (aka a human's hearing range, from low to high pitch). Information is then sent through to the brain module where a sound is "heard". Requires a medium that vibrates for the microphones to be activated.
Olfactory & Taste sensors: Different chemicals bind to different receptors, generating signals that the brain module interprets as smells or taste. What is different from humans is that corroded metal to them smells like rotten flesh to us.
Others (e.g. heat, pressure):
Heat sensors: Heat is the vibrations of particles. Heat sensors work by detecting change in particle vibrations.
Pressure sensors: Detects changes in the shape of the armour.
