So, to avoid the problem I had that last hiatus (for which I deeply apologize to everyone I was in the middle of RPing with at the time, it was unexpected but I won't go into detail here) I'll post ahead of time, so I won't forget at the last minute! From July 15, 2015 until July 30, 2015 I will likely be online for limited time periods for a handful of reasons. The primary one is that I will be going to Hefei, China for the 2015 Robocup Competition. This is a HUGE deal for me as this will be my first trip to another country AND it's a large step towards what I want to do for a living - research, design, build, and program robots. With this in mind, the competition will likely take up most of my time while there and so I'm expecting to not be online very much, if at all. Thus, I will try to wrap up any RPs I'm a part of ahead of time or find a good pause point that will work for everyone I'm RPing with at the time of my departure. And I'll work to resume any paused RPs as soon as I'm able to when I get home. For future reference, Doctor Chiro and Stormcutter are my two active RP accounts. (Since not everyone knows this yet. XD)

Oh yeah, technically dragaura and Panacea are my other two accounts, but, as I said before, Doctor Chiro and Stormcutter are my active ones. If you see dragaura, I'm online and will chat, but I am likely on my phone and thus cannot reliably post.

Wow, Robocup, that's understandable then, it's not everyday someone gets to visit a different country, and enter a competition. Hope you have fun.

Have a good time in North Asia! China is a pretty nice place to be in, though be warned, it can get quite crowded in some places. ;-) I bet you'll put up some good competition if not win that contest of yours!

Thanks for the support guys! ^_^ I really appreciate it! Half the team has been to Robocup before and one of the guys is from China, so I'm not completely out on my own in those crowds.

It's been an interesting first few days here, but so far so good! People are friendly and the food is good! ^_^ Some of ya'll have asked about pictures and I'm happy to say that we have a site that we're uploading "progress" pics to! A lot of links are broken and this it likely due to the poor internet service at our hotel. Tack on a VPN to be able to get to most of the sites we use and you have a recipe for VERY slow and intermittent internet. XD But, as I said before, here is a link to the photos! (They are in no particular oder because they come from multiple devices!) 162.243.186.216/photos/You'll see the the seven of us who were able to go from our team: The GMU RoboPatriots. And, now you get to see my face - when I'm exhausted after over 30 hours of travel time! Three guesses as to who I am in the pics. (Hint: I'm the only girl on my team. )

I know how it feels to be stuck traveling for thirty hours, or even forty eight. It's really tiring. Glad to know you pulled through though.
Looks like you guys are having some fun so far despite the small annoying conditions you mentioned, and those are some interesting pics to look at.
