Aero got into the room and gently sat on the bed. This was a tiring day... and perhaps some rest would be good after such an incident happened. But before he rest, he decided to send a short comm to Vaqus. After all, it was him who pulled him into this mess. :: Hey Vaqus, I hope I’m not bothering you. Just want to say thank you. I am really grateful that you came and help, and sorry for getting you into this mess. I didn’t expect we would get grounded. Yeah, sorry about that. By the way, have you seen Diamond lately? I don’t think I have seen her around… ::

Vaqus had been doing push-up after push-up, he huffing as his metallic cables contracted and relaxed repeatedly. Vaqus had lost count of how many he'd done, he had been sucked up in just doing them. The dark russet and blood maroon mech's arms began to ache after fifteen minutes flew by, and at last, with his strength tested and energy spent, he toppled over, before gathering himself and slumping himself against the wall. He vented heavily, exhausted by how many trans-ups he had done. or push-ups. Or whatever. Vaqus still had his visor over his optics, thus he felt clear to close his obscured eyes. Might as well get used to this...I'll just end up in Prison soon. Vaqus mused wearily.
Before he could venture anymore in his mind, Aerojet called in. That Aerojet--he sure can be a darn faithful mech. Primus bless him. Vaqus inhaled, causing some raspy hissing to produce from his mouthguard.
::No worries Aero. Its a bad habit of mine to get into some kind of trouble. As for Diamond....I have not seen that femme in a long time.::
Vaqus sighed through the com-link message. He had only been supposed to be Vaqus for a few minutes. Not two hours, but twenty minutes. Now he was getting set up for a brand new adventure already. It was something that frustrated him. Primus I need to get out of trouble and stay out of it for Silvershot's sake. She's gonna kill me after this. Vaqus frowned at himself, but since he really had noting to lose as a student--
::When do you want to start looking? I mean, how long were we supposed to be grounded again?:: "Anyway, I really want to thank you for coming. After all, coming to help is very risky. I mean, that vehicon is a fully trained soldier and the situation was quite dangerous." Aero said sincerely. He felt quite lucky that he had Vaqus as his friend, and he silently said to himself in his head that he would never forget this. He then sighed a bit as he heard Vaqus' question, "I don't know... I mean, should I really look for her? I don't think the loss of Halberd was easy for her and what if she still wanted to be alone and cope with it by herself? But it's been quite a long time since I last heard any news about her and I'm starting to feel a bit worried... And according to Primal, we are supposed to be grounded for a week, I think?"

*Water starts seeping under the doors of the apartments.*

There was a scrambling sound above Aerojet's apartment, as if someone was crawling through the ventilation shafts. The sound stopped right at the entrance of the ventilation shaft which was apart of the wall right behind Aerojet, the ventilation shaft meeting his mid-section, though it was quite large. Surprisingly large in fact. Large enough to fit a Vaqus-sized person inside, and two minutes after banging came from the ventilation lid, and mor and more dents accumulated on it, developing from the inside, Vaqus's leg hurts through. The rust mech look a bit desperate, as he shifted uncomfortably in the ventilation shaft. Vaqus actually felt like he was doing some kind of black ops mission, but whatever. Oh wait. He was on a mission. Sort of a rescue mission.
Vaqus: I know, I know, we're grounded, but the water's poisoned with some kind of sedative, and you can't swim in it without some kind of filter or extra air tank so that you don't get knocked out. Burnout's already organized a rendezvous point for other students to meet at. I was one of the first to realize it, so I came to get you. Come on, we gotta hurry. The water's flooded the hallways, and e ought to get going before your door bursts open.
Vaqus motioned for Aerojet to come, it was an urgent gesture.
Vaqus: Oh. And if you haven't already figured it out, this is probably one of Feenixfire's tests. I am so gonna splash her with a bucket of ice-cold water after this.
Vaqus said, though his tone didn't indicate he really would at all. There was some things people said that they meant, and other things they said because they wanted to, but just saying what they wanted to do was just enough satisfactory.

Before the water began to leak in, Aero was thinking about Vaqus' words. He didn't know, but he felt Vaqus was somewhat... sentimental at that moment, saying that how much he would do. He wasn't even sure if 'sentimental' was the correct word. For Aero, while he still didn't really understand what Vaqus really meant, he could felt his sincere care. He loss his words for a moment, feeling touched and not sure how to respond.
Just as he wanted to say something through the comm, he noticed a cool feeling coming from his pedes. Huh? He curiously looked down to see what's happening, only to find out that some water was leaking through the door. Frowning a bit, Aero wasn't sure what's happening. Water? This normally wouldn't happen... Especially on a ship-turned-base of a species that doesn't require a large amount of water.
And as soon as he realised that there was water on the ground of his apartment, Vaqus also told him that his apartment was having the same issue. Aero frowned again, This isn't normal... He didn't open the door as Vaqus said, as he trusted that Vaqus had more experience than him and would have a better judgment. Though that didn't mean that he would just sit and do nothing. He flicked his visor down and tried to analyse what the 'water' really was. It did look like water, but who knows what that fluid really is?
The medical programme and function on his visor scanner allows him to check the simple composition of a substance. While it couldn't reach the accuracy of a proper professional analyser in proper science facilities, it was quite useful in identifying symptoms caused by cybertronian-incompatible substances. The scanning took time, as his scanner wasn't really good with substance recognition. As the progress indicator slowly went from 0% to 100%, Aero used that time to listen to the comm channels and messages. He noticed that Vaqus mentioned about the sedatives and how the event was a test of the Primal.
Being a paranoid cautious bot, Aero of course have looked up the map of the nearby section and the quickest evacuating routes, in case that there was a fire or something else. But in this situation it's water from the doors and that meant what Aero had prepared was useless... And Aero didn't quite like that. He preferred to eliminate as many variables as he could, and usually sudden incidents don't allow him from doing so. While he logically understand that improvising was necessary, he didn't particularly like it.
As the water level continue to rise, Aero was now standing on his berth instead of sitting on it. He didn't like to come in contact with something with effects that he still didn't fully know.
And the progress indicator just reached 100% as Vaqus came in. He shook his head as he read the results. "My scanners are not enough to get much information about the fluid. All I know is that it isn't toxic and has sedating effect. The active components that cause the sedating effect has an awfully high concentration. As for the solvent itself, it should only be normal water..."
Aero nodded at Vaqus, "Okay, I will follow you." While still nervous, with his friend, he didn't worry as much as he normally would.
"But ice water? She's a fire elemental... I don't think that would have an effect... And are you sure it is a good idea to do that to the Primal?"
/* Yay, finished finals so I should have more time. Typed this up sleepily, sorry for any illogical things if there's any... GTG to sleep */

((No worries Aero. And I finished my finals too! *high-fives Aerojet*))
Vaqus chuckled at Aerojet's nervous reply, ah, that guy was really fun to get scared sometimes. he had the best reactions, yet he wasn't at all a wuss. Aerojet was just--how would Vaqus put it? Over Cautious? Ah, there, that fit. Vaqus shrugged carelessly at Aerojet's question regarding if Vaqus really would do it to the Primal. Vaqus had actually given it some consideration, and he found that he actually might. Really, he had nothing to lose. He had saved her life once, he was more of a rogue, and he really was in trouble already, so why not snap a few rules while he was at it? Or maybe he shouldn't. Maybe he should be a good boy and then go on a hunt for Diamond with Aerojet. Then maybe while he was outside....Vaqus shook his helm.
Vaqus: Dunk her with water? Aerojet, it was just something that I was saying. Just blowing off steam, so to speak. Though the more i think about it, the more I really wouldn't mind. Not that I hate her guts, but honestly, as a prank that'd be a fun one.
Vaqus outstretched a hand, assisting Aerojet towards the vent, before Vaqus himself began to climb up the shaft. He wasn't sure what the status was with the other students, but he had a feeling him and Aerojet would be the last ones to get there. A vague memory flashed through Vaqus's mind, a time where speed had been everything to him. A time when he would do just about anything to be in first place...and now, he was waiting on a friend. Probably the lowest of the low when it came to timing, and he was practically Autobot trash. How things changed. it was almost depressing, but Vaqus was not a smidgen sad about it. Who cared if he was coming in last? He was picking his friend up. 'Nuff said.
Vaqus: Come on. Let's catch up with the others. The good news i, if we're the last one to meet up, they'll be the first to see what booby traps lie ahead. Isn't that great?
Vaqus's last sentence was entirely sarcastic, though if he heard a few screams from any of the Chronobots, he wouldn't mind too much. Served them right for shooting at him anyways. it was like, 'You're welcome for taking out the person who was kicking your aft.'. Yeah, Vaqus never really planned on taking things the easy way these dog days. Or taking them the hard way for that matter. Maybe he was just a trouble magnet. Vaqus shrugged to himself as he heaved himself upwards into the passageways of the ventilation system, knowing Aerojet wouldn't be far behind. Vaqus was not quick in his pace, but not too slow either.
((To the Hallways!))

/ *high-fives* / Aero raised one of his optic ridge and contemplated about Vaqus' response... Well, if it's carried not out of ill intention, it might actually be fun... He was a bit surprised when he realized that he had that thought, but after some more thought, he concluded that maybe sometimes it's not harmful to have some fun. Though he still had a question in his head, "Errmmm, is dunking someone with water funny? I mean, I thought that being funny is the essence of a good prank... or so I've heard."It would be great to really relax and have fun, but for now, he guessed he would have to deal with the current situation first... which he still didn't fully understand. "Well, in this case we can help if someone is really so careless and stumbled into a trap. Well, maybe it wouldn't even be the bot's fault, considering that the one setting this whole situation up is presumably the Primal. And I suppose that being a Primal means that you already have some kind of talents and can generally ousmart underage students? Though we have many mechs here and maybe we can hold our ground if we can cooperate?"Aero replied to Vaqus and began to babble his own thoughts, habit when nervous... Still, he tried to mentally calm himself down and follow Vaqus. Having a friend that came for him in the middle of trouble, Aero sometimes didn't understand why he was so lucky to met him. / now following Vaqus to the hall /
