Optic ( Eye ) Color : Red
Primary Paint Color : Light chocolate Brown
Secondary Paint Color [ Optional ]: Dark Grey
Third Color [Optional]: Silver
Height: 30 Feet
Features:
Tailspin's Robot Form is tall with an average build. The Main Rotor stores on his back in typical fashion for Cybertronians with Helicopter Alt Modes. The tail splits down the middle and recesses into the outer sides of Tailspin's legs, becoming extra plating for that area. Tailspin's Arms form the lower portion of the nose, the Cabin area above that folding down to become his torso, the Rear half of the main fuselage forms the legs.
Tailspin's Autocannons are located on his forearms in Robot mode, panels splitting apart to reveal the entire barrels, his Miniguns relocate themselves on his body to between and below the Autocannons, with the Rockets directly between them, further back from the Miniguns.
Alternative Mode:
(NOTE: Weapons are concealed in this form. Autocannons deploy on lower sides of the nose, Miniguns from Front Doors, Rockets from Rear Doors.)
ARMOR AND WEAPONRY
Armor
Armor Description: Anti-Ballistic Armour
Strong, yet lightweight alloy consisting of two component materials. The first component is a lightweight, but strong armour designed to provide good protection against all attacks without a severe restriction of movement and speed. The second component is a materials designed to resist ballistics, such as bullets, shrapnel, and any other kind of ballistic weaponry.
As a result of this, Tailspin is decently protected against most weapon attacks, but is extremely Resistant to Ballistics, making him very difficult to defeat with such weaponry. Coupled with his aerial mode, this makes him difficult to hit effectively with Ballistics.
Armor Perks ( optional ):
- Extremely resistant to Ballistics
- Decently strong against all attacks, minimal restriction to speed.
Weaponry
There are a bunch of weapons listed here
Primary Weapon : Quad 60mm Autocannons
Description: Four rapid-fire Autocannons, capable of firing explosive rounds at Medium to Long range. These rounds are excellent at piercing most Armours, but their explosive force per round is weak, relying on several shots on one target for effectiveness.
Secondary Weapon : Dual AP Miniguns
Description: Twin Miniguns loaded with Armour Piercing Rounds. Capable of an ungodly firing rate to deal with Medium range targets, firing a stream of AP bullets to pierce most Medium Armours. Heavier Armours can withstand them however.
Other Weapons : Hellfire Rockets
Description : Dual Rocket pods capable of firing simple, yet efficient unguided rockets for saturating an area at Long-Range. Good for dealing with groups from a distance.
Gadgets : Repulsion Field Generator (described above)
Melee : Arm Chainblades
Melee Weapon Description (Optional): Chainsaws half-recessed into the sides of Tailspin's forearms. Excellent at piercing armour and can cut straight through a Human tank in 7 seconds.
Intelligence : 8
Dexterity : 8
Speed : 6
Endurance : 6
Firepower : 8
Accuracy : 6
Melee : 6
Tech Skill : 6
Tailspin has a mean streak long enough to be seen from space. Enjoying taunting his opponents, and even ribbing his own teammates at times, he takes great delight in making his opponents panic under his taunting. In combat he usually hovers above the carnage, unloading into any groups of Ground targets he can find, making him a disaster for smaller Ground targets to face.
Out of combat, Tailspin has a very mocking, sinister sense of humour, causing more than a couple troopers and Autobots to become very uncomfortable around him, which is exactly how he wants it. Despite this demeanour, Tailspin is an utter savage in combat, firing all weapons and carving up limbs that get too close almost constantly.
Courage: 7, very sure of his own abilities and hard to convince otherwise
Charismaa : 4, never easy to tell if you want him on your side or to just stop staring at you like that.
History :
Tailspin was Sparked to be part of an archaeological survey team in the Sea of Rust, flying above the dangerous Rust storms for any signs of historically significant areas to dig. Becoming very good at his job, Tailspin came across something entirely unexpected, a secret installation hidden situated in an especially volatile stretch of the Sea of Rust.
Going in for a closer look, Tailspin discovered this was a torture camp for the more vocal opponents of Functionism, staying just out of range of being discovered, forced to watch multiple atrocities occurring right in front of him. When he returned to his team, he attempted to report this, but the team was staunchly for Functionism, and did everything they could to dissuade him from even acknowledging his existence, focusing on the archaeological finds.
Shocked at this behaviour, Tailspin flew into the densest Rust Cloud, left for dead by the team he had spent all his life with. Hardening his Spark, Tailspin returned to the installation, unarmed, but still capable of incapacitating the light security presence in the area and freeing the prisoners. But in doing so, he unknowingly triggered an alarm that recorded him freeing prisoners. He was subsequently rounded up within the week, living on the streets in Helex.
Sent to the arena, Tailspin refused to let the Council kill him, and dove headfirst into the carnage. Abandoning all semblance of self-preservation as he charged madly at opponent after opponent. Joining the Apocalypticons, Tailspin found great success in the Pits and on the battlefield, becoming a whirlwind of death from above to any Ground target unfortunate enough to get close to key installations.
Family ( Optional, some just have none ) : N/A
Strengths :
Tailspin's large array of weaponry makes him very effective against Ground targets and at long-range, allowing him to function as a defender of important areas. Chainsaw blades allow him to sever limbs in close-combat, meaning uncoordinated, heavier melee fighters are at a disadvantage toe-to-toe with him. Extremely resistant to Ballistics thanks to the alloy in his armour.
Tailspin's reckless abandon for moderation makes him even more dangerous the more surrounded he is, abandoning all pretence of control in favour of firing everything he has at absolutely anything non-Decepticon, making him unpredictable and therefore dangerous. Large size makes him resilient for a Copterformer, allowing him to take stronger blows than most of those with Helicopter Alt Modes.
Weaknesses :
Resistance against other forms of attack is decent, but not excellent, especially in terms of Explosive weaponry. Alt Mode is slower than most fliers, meaning he can be caught out in the open if he is not careful. When going berserk, can run the risk of overextending himself, leaving him in a position where there are too many enemies for him to overcome alone, requiring backup to pull out of the situation.
if his Main rotor is damaged, not only will he lose the ability to fly, but will also lose the ability to use his Repulsion Field Generator, requiring repair before he can use it again.
Another supply vehicle exploded as the Raiding parties screamed away from the fight. The Ruins of Iacon were now used as a supply route to the front, but an underground resistance movement had been hard at work disrupting that route as much as they could. With a protracted assault being suicide, they relied on hit-and-run tactics, driving into the convoys, blowing up everything they could in one pass, swiftly retreating into cover, and repeating this until the convoy was destroyed or beyond their reach.
This party was rather small. Three Cars, two Vans and an APC, driving in formation before breaking off and causing carnage in an unorganised fashion. As they lined up for another run, their vision was suddenly blocked by an enormous helicopter, the white Apocalypticon logo on either side leaving no doubt as to who it was. Thinking quickly, the APC, obviously the Squad leader, ordered the group to split up, hoping to draw the helicopter's fire away from two-thirds of the group at least.
However, as the formation split into three groups of two and went down different paths of the labyrinthine streets of Iacon, the helicopter, merely spun around, doors on either side opening to reveal Miniguns pointed at both of the other groups, as streams of bullets rained down at the fleeing groups, the helicopter unleashed its Autocannons on the APC and the car that followed it, explosions raining down on the pair. The Car that followed the APC was hit by several of these projectiles, careening off the road to rest half-embedded in a building, nothing but a smouldering wreck.
The other two cars fared no better. Both torn into by the Miniguns before they could get away. One exploding from a bullet piercing his weapons magazine, and another split down the middle from the concentrated assault, both halves skidding to a halt. Raising up above the streets, the Apocalypticon set off after the remaining Autobots as they weaved through the streets in an effort to get away.
One of the vans transformed, holding his own Minigun as he waited around a corner, hoping Tailspin would be unable to find him. As if reading his mind, Tailspin spoke out over his loudspeaker, clearly close to the Vanformer, and enough to send a chill down his spine as the voice openly mocked him.
"Come out come out little Autobots, hide and seek isn't becoming of such a valiant resistance. Where's your fighting spirit, huh? Did it crack under pressure, like your little friends?"
The Vanformer watched the helicopter hover slowly above him, apparently not seeing him yet. This was his chance, he spooled up his Minigun as Tailspin flew past him, heading for the airspace above a plaza nearby. Taking aim, the Vanformer unloaded his rounds at the helicopter, momentarily overjoyed at his luck at being able to take him by surprise.
This joy quickly turned to fear when he realised his bullets weren't doing anything, seemingly deflecting off Tailspin's armour with minimal damage. Too shocked to stop firing, he didn't realise his ammo was gone before it was too late, Tailspin having turned around once he realised he was being attacked. Unloading Autocannon rounds into the Vanformer, the Autobot was torn to shreds, limbs flying everywhere as the onslaught continued.
During this time, the second Vanformer hefted his axe, realising Tailspin was distracted now. Ramping off the ruined roof of a building, the Vanformer transformed in mid-air and swung at the helicopter, barely registering the fact his swing had missed and he had been thrown back by some invisible force, blue arcs of electricity arcing across Tailspin's main rotor. The Van former hit the ground just as the rockets pelted into him, blowing him apart almost instantly.
The APC had been driving away this entire time, not even entertaining the idea he could defeat an Apocalypticon. As he left the denser area, he believed he was in the clear, taking a moment to collect himself. Panicking at what he had saw, the APC didn't wait long, transforming again and barrelling across the highway at full speed. As preoccupied with escaping as he was, he didn't notice the shadow falling over him, nor did he notice the faint whir of helicopter blades over his own engine noise.
Only when the hellish roar of chainsaws rang out directly above him did he notice, and by that point it was already too late. Tailspin's Arm Chainblade swung down in front of the speeding APC, carving through the Autobot like he wasn't there. The ruined, lifeless husk of an APC rolled on for a bit longer before careening to the left and beginning to roll sideways, stopping a small ways away, pieces of the former Squad Leader strewn between him and Tailspin.
"Seems my work is done. Don't rush to come back now."
With that, Tailspin transformed back into his Alt Mode and set off for the convoy, believing this was enough to make the resistance realise what they were dealing with, at least until the next hotshot nobody tried to make a name for themselves. To be honest, Tailspin was looking forward to another lesson in humility.
