Designation : H-524
Nicknames: Hexiden
Gender : Mech
Age : 15,839,793
Home Planet : Cybertron
Faction : Insecticon
Occupation : Scout, Engineer and Medic
Abilities : Regeneration
Ability Description : Hexiden can regenerate from physical wounds, via liquid metal that he makes from consuming matter. (Think robot version of stem cells.) His healing is not instantaneous, and the more complex the wound, the longer it takes to heal. And being an insecticon, he has the ability to consume 98% of known matter.
APPEARANCE
Optic ( Eye ) Color : Yellow (all four of them)
Primary Paint Color : Black
Secondary Paint Color : Gold-yellow
Third Color : Purple and silver
Height: 12 ft ~ 3.5m
Features: Hexiden has two large antenna plates coming out of his helm, each with a pair of audio receivers. His insecticon armor is dulled and mostly rounded off to appear less threatening.
Alternative Mode
ARMOR AND WEAPONRY
Armor Description: His armor used to be jagged and sharp like most insecticons, but since siding the autobots, he had his armor filed down to look more angular. He had his original colors switched to be more identifiable from his bug brethren. It's known to chatter when Hexiden gets angry or on alert due to his instincts.
Armor Perks : Since his relationship with an elemental and his work around the ship's engines, his armor is made to be resistant to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. In order to make it so, his armor became more lightweight and weaker.
Weaponry
There are a bunch of weapons listed here
Weaponry:
Primary Weapon: Gauss Rifle
Primary Weapon Perks: Rifle that uses a series of magnetic fields to accelerate a projectile to high speeds. Fires heavy slugs with chargeable power levels. It has a slow charge, 1 level per post.
Secondary Weapon: Gear shredder
Secondary Weapon Perks: Like in the video game, it has a homing function and fires up to three at once but loses homing function when firing multiple gears.
Other Weapons: 4 pistols and Stasis gel launcher (modified slime cannon)
Other Weapon Perks: Four normal standard pistols, no special perks. Stasis gel (which he developed himself) causes numbness on contact and enough around the spark can cause stasis lock. (even Hexiden is effected by it)
Gadgets: Visor with scanning capabilities, including thermal, energy tracker, UV, nightvision, several forms of radiation detection and magnification.
Melee Weapon : Energon scythe and 4 daggers
Description : Like an energon sword but in scythe form. Daggers are normal metal daggers, no special properties.

OTHER
Personality : He's tired of always getting bad responses from all bots and cons alike. He hates the near constant prejudice his kind faces. However he tries to overcome his insecticon instincts which tend to take over when he's angry or hungry. He does his best to keep a calm processor. He's at the most calm and collective when he's working on any kind of engineering or crafting project. When he's not fighting his inner insecticon, he can be very collective and social, except for Dinobots, as his history with them renders him terrified at the sight of one. Even a predacon can send shivers down his spinal plating if they're similar enough.
Courage: 4
Charismaa : 1-2
History : Once a scout in a maintained insecticon hive, in one day his entire drone life was destroyed. While out on a routine scouting patrol, scouting drone H-524 returned to a decimated hive. Minutes after he left the hive was attacked by a team of rampaging dinobots. The soul survivor of his lost home, he explored out to the Badlands. Much time passes before he comes across an autobot, former decepticon, who took him in as a companion and they returned to a base. He was met with....extreme dislike of most allies. He was kept around for study for the autobot scientists to learn about insecticon biology. By watching these scientists, he was able to learn engineering and medical practices. At the base, he met a young medic trainee named Windchime and befriended her. Thanks to her and a fallen soldier, a T-cog was installed in him and he learned to speak and move in robot mode.
During the planet evacuation, H-524, now called Hexiden by his companion, got separated from his friend and wound up in a different escaping ship with Windchime, who became his femme-friend. To Hex's surprise and horror he witnessed the ship his friend was on blown to bits by decepticons trying to stop the evacuation. Later the ship was caught in an asteroid shower and the ship was in critical. The few bots in there were killed by impacting space rocks. Hexiden occupied an escape pod with Windchime and was ejected, soon to land on the planet Earth.
Family : N/A All insecticons from his hive died in a Dinobot raid.
Strengths : As an insecticon, Hexiden has the capability to consume nearly 98% of known matter for sustenance. If he needs to, he can survive on consuming matter instead of energon. His abilities also allow him to quickly heal himself if he gets shot or cut. The material he uses to heal can also be regurgitated and hand crafted like clay into basic object, such as panels, tools, and simple weapons. Self trained to be an engineer by closely watching the mechanics and scientists in the outposts and ships he's stayed on, he can study and improve weapons and vehicles.
Weaknesses : Despite his insecticon strength, due to his small build, he's no stronger than any average bot of medium build. His healing ability takes time to take effect, a near minute for small cut and bullet wounds, and nearly an hour for severed limbs. His instincts make it hard to think clearly in dangerous situations, as well as cause distrust with other bots, no matter the faction. With four optics behind his visor, any form of disorientation can make his perception take full minutes to readjust. Sometimes his hunger can take over his mind if he's not sustained himself and can cause him to attack the nearest living thing to him, despite being able to feed from the ground he stands on.
SAMPLE RP
It's been nearly 3 days since Drone H-524 has left the hive in the Badlands for another scouting task. The small insecticon scuttles at a brisk pace across the barren landscape on his way back to his home. He clicks happily to himself, glad that this mission didn't end without results. He's managed to find a large raw energon pool, and several caverns, ideal for storing food and young. He would no doubt be rewarded by the hive royalty for his find.
He cuts himself from his daydreaming of rewards and gets back in focus of moving. His large optics flicker confused as he glances up and sees a thick, black mass in the sky. It was far too dark to be a rust-storm cloud, moving too fast too. Panic forms in his expressionless optics as he realizes what it is....smoke, and it's coming from the same direction as the hive! The drone shakes a bit and starts scuttling as fast as he could towards his home.
As he gets closer and closer, he could see the smoke get thicker and cover the entire sky above him. Brief flashes of dim lights cover the underbelly of the death cloud, what he could only imagine to be explosions as each flash was accompanied by a loud rumble. Just over one more hill and he'll see the hive, in one piece and the smoke was coming from elsewhere, is what he'd want to believe. But as he climbs the last hill, he sees...nothing. Nothing of the hive was left, only ruins and thousands of his brethren ' s husks covering the land.
If the drone had tear ducts, he'd cry for the loss of so much of his home and brothers. But he knew the protocol all insecticons are to know in this kind of incident, look for surviving royalty and others, secure the young and food. He shakes his helm violently to get himself back to focus on his new task. He begins his mission to look for others, carefully crawling over the lifeless husks and rubble, looking over each body carefully.
Minutes pass and so far no signs of any survivors. He vents sadly, thinking only one thing, what could've done this? He didn't see any sign of an energon explosion, and everything was too scattered in random directions for it to be a single explosion. Could it have been autobots? He has heard of a war going on in the main cities on the planet. He vents with a sad whimper, cutting short as he hears the loud, distressed screech of the hive's queen.
Drone H-524 crawls, hops, digs under and cuts though ever obstacle of rubble that comes in his way on his way to the screech's source. He hears it get louder...along with low growls and rumbling stomps of large pedes.
His armor chatters in fear, please...please don't let it be... He stops, completely frozen in fear of what he sees....Dinobots, a whole squad of them! He's heard rumors of the massive beasts that have laid waist to several of the largest hives on Cybertron without so much being hindered by the massive armies if the swarms. He hoped they were fake to make the warriors more alert...but now stood five before him. Three of them were tearing apart a Bruiser class, the strongest the insecticon hordes could present...but not strong enough to best even one dinobot, let alone five. Two more stood closer to him, a tyrannosaurus and pterodactyl...with his queen in the tyrano's dentas!
The queen is badly wounded, covered in cuts...on the body parts she still had. His optics flicker in distress as he witnesses the dinobot leader tear the queen in half with one bite without warning. The queen let's out a final screech of pain and fear, a sound the drone would, no doubt, never forget. The side of her body drops to the ground as the dinobot lifts it's colossal head to swallow what he bit off. H-524 lets out his own screech in sorrow, a bad mistake as all the Dinobots turn to face him.
His mind becomes filled with thoughts to fight them off, in vengeance for the hive and it's queen. Fortunately for him, his six legs have a different idea, run. Before the dinobots had a chance to charge him, the insecticon takes off to the nearest pile of rubble. The triceratops is the first to give him chase. It makes nearly no effort to catch up to him. H-524 focuses on his scouting instincts, which is the only part of his conscious that was determined to keep HIM alive. He leaps off to the side, had he done it a second later and he'd been skewered on the beast's long horns. It runs past him and flattens the pile he intended to use as cover.
He makes a note that hiding above ground won't do him any good. He starts to scuttle as fast as his legs to go, try to outrun them and tunnel underground once he gets enough time. He hears the collective rumbling of them get quieter. He clicks satisfied to himself, thinking he already outpaced them. He glances back as he keeps running to see them stopped. He feels confused until he counts that only four were there. He thinks where the fifth had gone. His question was quickly answered as he looks up and forward to see the pterodactyl divebomb at him. He screeches in surprise as skids to a stop and lays low to the ground just as it makes a grab for him. It's talons cut into his back armor easily, but not deep enough to get a hold onto him. He ignored the energon leaking from his back, as he sees that now the whole team is running after him.
He didn't need to think about it to realize that they're going to ram him, so like before he runs for his life. Even if it's in ruins, he still knew the layout of the hive, and if he's right, a tunnel to the lower levels should be ahead. He doesn't have enough time before the flying dinobot makes a turnaround to grab for him again, so he has to stay alert. He could see the tunnel, just open enough for him to slip through. He happy thoughts were cut short to see that something's glowing behind him. He doesn't dare to want to look, but his curiosity got the better of him and he glances back. The dinobots are still on his tail, including the flying one, and all of their maws are gaped open. He starts to feel pure terror as each dinobot unleashes a stream of fire from their intake, all aimed at him.
The poor insecticon screeches for his life as he dives and skids on the ground as the streams hit the ground beside him, and one directly on his back. He screeches in pain as it sears his insides through the cuts in him. He scrambles back up and scuttles for the hole. The largest dinobot, with a long neck, and the flying one fire another stream of flames, covering the hole and his way to it in a blaze. The drone skids once more to a stop and looks into the fire, clicking in a panic as he sees the three-horned and spike-plated dinobots speed up towards him. He closes his optics and takes a chance, rather getting burned than whatever these beasts have in store for him. He gets burned all over, especially in his vulnerable underbelly, as he makes it to the hole and stops for a second to catch his breath after squeezing through the small entrance, hearing the two dinobots chasing his halting to a stop.
H -524 clicks in relief to himself, however his feeling of safety was short lived. The very same dentas that silenced his queen cut into the rubble that once blocked the way. He looks up in horror as the leader dinobot looks down upon him, growling with no intent to let him live. He sees it's intake glow once more and he starts to run down the tunnel. He knew there's a side opening to a second tunnel, but it's a bit away. He crawls as fast as his wounded body could and feels hopeless as he sees the glow grow brighter, as the dinobot blasts a full stream of fire into the tunnel. He managed to make it this far, no way was he going to just let himself get killed. He keeps scurrying and he feels the fire effortlessly reach him...just as he turns into the opening, only getting his backside seared.
H-524 vents heavily as he collapses down to the ground. He hears a roar of rage, as the dinobots had lost their last prey. His lights begin to flicker from exhaustion, as he powers down where he lays. Upon his wake tomorrow, he will set out, to search for any survivors...and a new hive to call home.
