Ability Description ( optional ) : Scorponok's multi-pronged, spinning pincers act like twin augers, chewing up soil, sand, shale, gravel, and solid stone with equal effectivity. The shattered earth is subsequently sucked into the turbine-like length of his thorax and spat out behind him, allowing him to burrow through most all terrain-types with shocking ease. They also work well underwater.

Height: Roughly 6-7 feet. 21 feet long from head to end of body, 43 feet with tail totally extended.
Features:
- Essentially a giant, metal scorpion. Unlike actual scorpions, his pincers are composed of multiple, curved prongs and his tail is composed of a long, wickedly pointed trident. Has eight eyes, like a spider.
- Armor is jagged and angular, has a look of rustedness. Face features eight red eyes, rather like a spider, and a set of razor-sharp mandibles.
Alternative Mode: Scorponok does not seem to have any sort of alternate mode. Its debatable whether his set form should be considered a robot or vehicle mode. That isn't to say he can't take one....

Description: Scorponok's pincers house a multitude of unguided energon-rockets. While the warheads have a relatively low yield, they have a masty tenancy to pierce armor and explode inside their target.

Melee Weapon Description (Optional): Scorponok's pincers burrow through armor just as well as they do rock and soil. The drill-like appendages are forged from an alloy a great deal harder than the rest of the arachnid-like Decepticon, there are very few Cybertronians Scorponok's auger-like forearms cannot maim.
Just as deadly as his whirring claws is Scorponok's extendable, poisonous stinger. It may not be as hard as his claws, but it is frighteningly, ferociously sharp, and covered in a corrosive, nauseating poison. The robotic scorpion loves nothing more than to ambush opponents from behind and drive the spear-like point into their backs, hoist them into the air, and watch them squirm.

Strength : 8 -Scorponok doesn't generally try to win fights with shear strength, but that isn't to say the robotic arthropod is lacking in that department. The Decepticon's limbs pack an impressive power, though very large or strong mechs and femmes could overpower him......Intelligence : 2 -Little more than a particularly cunning animal, Scorponok understands Cybertronian language and can manage basic things like opening doors.
Dexterity : 9 -The robotic arachnid moves with an eerie, scuttling grace, capable of racing up walls, along ceilings, and through tight spaces with ease. He's also shockingly adept at rolling and flipping about, putting all of his limbs and servos to use in the process.
Speed : 6 -Scorponok's speed is limited by the terrain he moves in or on. The Decepticon can seldom break more than 150 mph, and is usually moderately slower.
Endurance : 7 -In addition to having a hard hide, Scorponok is something of a damage-sponge. The Decepticon has lost limbs and chunks of his body without fleeing battle.
Firepower : 4 -While not unimpressive, Scorponok's rockets are the only ranged weapon he has at his disposal.
Accuracy : 5 -Scorponok fights with a savage animal abandon that does not mesh with careful aim and exact movements. Nonetheless, the Decepticon is coordinated, and his aim is not to be underestimated.
Melee : 10 -Between the poisonous tail, spinning claws, and gnashing mandiles, Scorponok is a terror. Its hard to block when your enemy has more weapons than you do limbs.
Tech Skill : 1 -Computers? They are glowy things suitable for napping on. What? They have a purpose beyond that?
OTHER
Personality : It's hard to say whether Scorponok even HAS a personality. He cannot speak, though he is capable of following orders and understanding the gist of simple questions and statements. If one were to assign a persona to the robotic scorpion, it would be that of a vicious hunter who very much enjoys his job. Though he has no way to articulate it, Scorponok regards the feeling of piercing armor and circuitry with glee, and the chase thrills him. Though some might call it instinct, if others could peer into Scorponok's head, they would see that there is more to the scuttling Decepticon than animal impulse. The vicious creature strategizes, it thinks, it plans. But its personality is little more than joy for the hunt and love of success...... When not hunting, Scorponok is a solemn and sedentary creature. There is no reason to move, if there is not a creature to be caught and disemboweled...... Save, of course, for those times when an opportunity to stalk and watch presents itself. Scorponok knows well enough not to attack other Decepticons; his masters have seen to that. But that does not mean he can't follow them about, gleeful in the fact that he COULD strike at any time. He has been trained to pursue Autobots similarly when ordered, and this makes him an excellent infiltrator and scout.....

Little record of Scorponok's beginnings exist; the bestial Decepticon seemed to simply appear near the beginning of the war, in service of various masters, such as Blackout and Soundwave.

Strengths :
-Scorponok is quite fast underground. More than enough to outrun most Autobots on foot, and often in vehicle mode, of thr Autobot is in one of Scorponok's preferred habitats...
-Scorponok is visually impossible to detect when moving underground, unless he chooses to be seen. The low rumble that his subterranean travel produces can be muted as well, if the Scorpion burrows deep enough.
-Scorponok is extremely fierce at close range, due to the shear number of offensive appendages at his disposal.
-It is not known to what degree Scorponok feels pain; he has been observed to keep fighting after loosing one or more limbs.
Weaknesses :
-While capable of thought, Scorponok lacks the intelligence of other Cybertronians, and can be outsmarted somewhat easily.
-Scorponok is relatively useless against airborn or extremely speedy opponents.
-Scorponok dislikes fighting in open spaces, where he cannot burrow. Solid rock, while not impossible to dig through, slows his progress greatly and reduces his viability as a fighter,
-Scorponok either lacks or chooses not to use an alternative form. Whether or not he will ever aqquire one is up in the air....
SAMPLE RP
The human soldier did not feel the blow that took his life, nor did he see it coming. Scorponok's tail punched up and through the bottom of the tank with such speed that the man's spine and lower brain were a mush of crushed bone and pulped tissue before the pain-signal could be relayed. The gunner looked on in horror at the glistening grey spike of metal that protruded from his comrade's skull. After a moment, the spike withdrew, rasping against metal more quietly than when it had entered. The dead man slumped to the cramped floor of the tank, blood-soaked forehead smacking into the armored vehicle's central control console before it slid to the floor, leaving a red trail that looked black in the dim interior of the tank....
Though he had seen many gruesome things in his 36 months of active combat, the number of times he had seen a fellow solider executed so quickly and so unexpectedly was small enough to be counted twice over on one hand.
As proud as he was of his martially-honed reflexes, it took the man a full two seconds to fully process what he had just seen, fill his lungs, and report what had happened into his comm-unit....
Though he had seen many gruesome things in his 36 months of active combat, the number of times he had seen a fellow solider executed so quickly and so unexpectedly was small enough to be counted twice over on one hand.
As proud as he was of his martially-honed reflexes, it took the man a full two seconds to fully process what he had just seen, fill his lungs, and report what had happened into his comm-unit....
