it was the third lap around the cave, and nothing had occurred. No Decepticons, no anything. Save for his hobby. As he had ventured through the chasms, he had located several varieties of gems and crystals, and had subspaced each. It was a hobby of his, to collect some of the gems of the earth, and keep a nice collection of foreign stones. Not to mention, they were beautiful, something which caught the vehicon's attention. Sure, now a days there was a very pretty femme waiting around every corner, but gems and crystals where something Taggon found unusual, unique, yet he did not have an overriding greed for them. They were just his hobby or something to do and to get into.
The vehicon strode patiently, his gears never making a click nor a grinding sound, as most mechs did, since his systems had been designed to be silent. He genuinely wondered what the other three Autobots were up to. As for Windtalker? Taggon felt like the bird was an old friend already. He didn't know why the minicon was following him other than him being faithful, though it did seem a bit dreamy to suddenly find a lost 'family' member, but within Taggon, he was certain he knew the bird. He would just have to keep his optics open for what the minicon did, just in case.
::Commander Astrinal. I have done several laps around the area along with Windtalker. The energon was mined before the Decepticons came. Permission to make my absence ma'am?::
Taggon asked over the com-line. He had noticed Afterburner leaving, and had been just about to ask if he could leave to support her when she had been called off by the Primal. Shame, she asked for too much back up and waited for too speedy of a reply. It was typical to find in a young soul. Perhaps she could be trained after he was done with Diamond. Speaking of which, he hadn't seen the femme in a long time. Where could she be? Taggon didn't know, but he didn't like the possibilities of her getting into trouble. Then again, she did know how to defend herself, but he had just started teaching her...Taggon waited for Astrinal's reply as he continued walking through the cavern.

A groundbridge opened near the mouth of the cave and a sleek cat-like femme walked out of the vortex before it closed with a flash. She lowered her goggles over her optics as she scanned the area for cybertronian signals. Finally, a signal was found inside the cave. Like always, she doesn't charge into a situation unless it would turn sticky. Using her cat-like stealth and retracting her claws, she began to climb up the cave wall before she was at the top. Crouched down like a cat, she crawled to the mouth of the cave and looked inside while upside down. Noticing a vehicon with an Autobot signal. Digging her claws into the rock, she crawled on the top of the cave in the darkness. Her heels making a metal clinking noise at each step.

Taggon had continued to walk, waiting for his commander to give her orders. Nothing was happening, and Taggon had a hunch he was needed elsewhere, or he had an urge to be elsewhere more like it. The vehicon had originally planned to simply mine the energon out of the cave, go to the latest Autobot battle scene, and help clean up after the Autobots, financially aiding the humans so that they could rebuild without losing too much of their money, and it would also put the Autbots in the light more since it would be them helping the humans again. It was a strategy which Taggon intended to do over and over, as to make the Autobot reputation much better than before, since some humans could easily argue that all Cybertronians did and had done was blow up cities and never lift a finger to protect them themselves. Taggon would have to see that argument quenched before things got out of servo. Before someone made their own organization against Cybertronians... The vehicon's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of small clanking coming from the ceiling. It was quiet clanking, but small noise nonetheless, interrupting the total silence. Instantly, Taggon desired to reach for his knives, but instead he just continued to walk, noticing that the sound was following him. On his visor, he did a small scanning sweep of the area around him, and indeed, there was a Deception right above him. How sneaky of them. Taggon refrained from looking up, or just giving any gesture at all he knew the Decepticon was above him. Either the Deception was a loud insecticon, or the Decepticon wanted him to know he or she was there. Taggon never subsided to the shadows himself, since he did not need to, and frankly at this point, there was no logic in attempting so just yet. Finally, Taggon spoke calmly to the nothingness before him, though anyone might guess who he was really speaking to; "I know you are there, on the ceiling, behind me." Taggon stated as if he was about to engage in a conversation with this someone, though his body was more than ready to turn around on a seconds notice, and apply counter attacks to any aggressive maneuvers. Nonetheless, he wouldn't fight unless he was attacked first. One thing which made him frown at his previous said words was he did not know the size of the Decepticon, though he he was convinced he may have been hearing clicks or huffing from effort if it was an insecticon.

The clanking noise got louder as it eventually stopped moving until the figure eventually turned her body around so her back was facing the wall with her claws still digging into the stone. Her goggles still covering her optics as she looked at him. Hopping down with a swift movement and landing in a crouching position, her whip tied around her waist acted like a tail as it followed her. Landing with a clank, she scanned him helm to pede.

Taggon's audio receptors heard the metalic sound of something penetrating the stone cavern wall above him, and at last, he turned around to see who had come. The vehicon did so casually, as to get the pint across he wouldn't be the one to attack first. he found himself looking through his dark deep blue visor at a very slim and intricately armored femme, who resembled a human very rather tight apparel. Taggon's optics had long adjusted to the shadows, so he could see the femme Decepticon quite clearly. She was the slim and flirtatious femme he had met in his previous visit to the Nemesis, the one which had been making flattering maneuvers with her body while Chaff and Backbeat had been at work. Taggon also recalled she was a femme he had met in Australia, who had intervened when Halberd had decided to convert to the Autobots.
Taggon held really no good memories of the femme, but none too bad either. He knew that she possibly endeavor to use her alluring appearance to her advantage, but he'd seen many a pretty femme, so he wouldn't be all that effected. If she wanted to fight, he knew a few tricks to counter attacks from a whip, which consistently proved to be her signature weapon. Taggon's form was not relaxed, but it was n to tensed. He simply gazed at the sleek femme with black armor, she could have easily blended in with the shadows. Yet she had chosen to simply allow herself to be seen. So what was she up to--?
"Catscratch, I presume?" Taggon asked formally, greeting the femme to see where they would get. He wondered if she could recognize him, since he was wearing a different paint job, though his voice hand't changed at all.

"And you must be Tags, that one vehicon from Australia", her sultry voice responded back to him in the shadows. Her heels made the same clanking noise as she stepped out and revealing her whole armored self. "So, what brings you so far away from your Autobot pals?", she asked casually yet threateningly. She wasn't interested in having a fight with an Autobot unless things turn sticky between them. She was one of those calculative Decepticons who uses brains instead of brawn at first glance at the enemy. Of course, she was Cybertron's most wanted thief. She would constantly use her alluring endeavors to keep her opponents minds thinking of her to stay alive instead of hurting her and it sometimes works. She flipped up her cat-like goggles sit they were on her forehead. She was a couple of inches smaller than Taggon but size didn't matter. Her Amber elegant cat-like narrow optics with a bold black eyeshadow in a wing on her eyes revealed.

The femme was a charming one, as she emerged from the blackness to reveal herself more to Taggon with the light of the glowing energon crystals as one of the sources which distinguished her form from the shadows. The femme strolled towards him, keeping her cool as he did, not attacking. Taggon could see some reason, even if her armor plating was the type which could take more hits then the outline of it gave the armor credit for, she was still thinner than him, and he held more weight and size, even if she could use that to her advantage. If she was a skilled warrior, which her smug stride indicated, she would have learned how to recycle aggressive moves to her aid. There were still some things about her Taggon did not entirely understand, like why she would wear high heel-like peas. They added to her flattering and slender chassis yes, but in combat? He reckoned they were difficult to fight with. the twenty five foot and six inch vehicon was much taller than twenty four feet, and not because of how his shoulder pads were long. He was simply that height.
The femme revealed her own optics, which held that of the strange mammal of a cat, as well as having optic-liner. Strange yet exquisite combination. Taggon was not one to be phased by looks though, whether cat scratch was the most pretty femme in the universe or not, or the most ferocious war-machine, the vehicon would hold his ground.
"That I am. I came here for simple reasons, such as supplying the needy." Taggon put simply. It was the truth. His faction needed energon, and that had been his agenda, to mine energon and to give it to them. The mining mission was long over, but there was still energon left over from the assault. As for why his friends were far off? They weren't really. Taggon didn't bother com-linking Astrinal yet. He had this situation under control so far, so she did not have to waste her time on him.
"Now I must inquire, why do you walk these grounds Catscratch?"

Hearing no response from the Autobot, he continued to walk towards the yellow mech. Danny would arrive and see Sparkflare and Astrinal carrying a container. The wrecker had made a curious look on his face when he first saw the container.
"Any ideas on what could be in there?"

Is it so hard to not feed your own faction?", she asked him in a sarcastic way. "Come on, I'm a criminal who steals for sport. It's an endless hobby", she sat on a rock nearby and crossing her legs. Catscratch didn't mind of having a brief chat with an Autobot. Nor did she want to terminate them at first. That's what makes her complicated between both factions. She can be sometimes an occasional ally to the Autobots even though she belongs in a faction that's powerhungry and arrogant of the Decepticons. Her optics narrowed at him after she said this with a moment of silence.

The femme's sarcasm was something Taggon was used to, since he had served under Astrinal and Night-Star. Both had taught him that they could flip out a scathing comment about anything at any time, or make a musing about some kind of irony. Sarcasm was something Taggon himself had never truly applied throughout his life, and had instead kept all unnecessary commentary to himself. He simply saw little point to sarcasm, he would be tempted to use it once in a blue moon, but until then he just employed regular communication. The vehicon merely proceeded with the conclusion that the femme knew more than she was saying, but that did not mean she had a bit of mouth. She had just told him something about her that someone would keep a watchful eye out for. Perhaps she was the kind of femme with quick servos, but now Taggon would keep a closer optic on her from behind his visor.
Taggon observed her for a little while more before he decided he would try another angle.
She was flirtatious, which could be the result of either child abuse, or for survival. Perhaps she was acting flirtatious because she had been unable to think of any other way to mask herself. Yes, her behavior was a mask. She was someone else inside, but she didn't want too many people to know what had gone on inside her processor, and she must desire a simple life of luxury and independence, thus stealing items. She wasn't a true Decepticon this way. Not a loyalist. if she was an all-time thief, she searched for the fore-said freedom, much like a femme called Hotwire, and deep down had no real desire to be a Decepticon. they were just where she could punch her room number in and stay for the night before she went out. The next question was, if she had been stealing so long, what was she doing with what she stole? Celling it? Handing it to others? The latter seemed unlikely, but again, she had a mask, and Taggon had yet to take it off entirely. As he hypothesized, it would seem on the outside his visor was simply staring at Catscratch, whereas behind his mask he was in thought.
"So you are a thief. Allow me to take a gander of your origin; Kaon." Taggon said, his voice did not indicate he was guessing at all. "And if you are really here to take energon, why did you not bring a crew with you? Or are you simply here to mug someone?" Taggon asked, ..And speaking of femme striking out on their own...what ever occurred to Thunderbolt...heh. Poor femme.

"It's most likely to be a Cyber-Key. Or a fake."
Sparkflare stated as he looked down at Danny from the edge of the ledge. Letting go of the container and jumping off the ledge. Sparkflare landed on the ground and extended his servos, gesturing to Astrinal to throw the container to him as he was ready to catch it.
"Throw it down. I'll catch it."

"Been a thief. No change in life", Carascratch said to Taggon as she stayed sitting on the rock. She inhaled softly as she crossed one leg over the other until she exhaled softly before looking back at him. "I'm on my own. I'm a criminal hired by certain Decepticon factions to steal from others", she drawled before extending her nails for a couple of seconds before making them smaller again. "That life is behind me now. Time to wake up now. I'm a thief most wanted", she stood up slowly from her sitting spot.

((Sorry to leave everyone waiting ;0;))
"Hold up, Sparkflare, let me take a look at it again.."
With the capsule placed on the ground, Astrinal knelt down and opened the top again. And, this time, she took the object out. The ancient metal revealed itself in the cavern light, which she inspected it. Though, when she pulled it out, Astrinal grabbed the blade part of whatever it was. She didn't let it go until she brought it out, which she was met with a bleeding servo and a weapon.
"Rule one with weapon safety.." Astrinal grumbled. "Never grab a weapon by the blade."
Merely shaking it off like a scratch, Astrinal grabbed a dull part of the newly revealed weapon, which she instantly fell in love with it. What was it? A sword? Dagger gauntlet thingy? Astrinal didn't know, but she looked rather mesmerized when she stood up. She was speechless for a few seconds, before she spoke to Sparkflare. "I- uh- mistaken the device wrongly. It's not a key." Astrinal said. "You can go back to your duties, I suppose.. I'll hold onto the device for now."
Then, afterwards, she turned her backplate and walked off, looking at the device. Whatever the hell it was, it was beautiful. 'I'm gonna' test you out.. Whatever you are..' she thought.
Then, she picked up a comm: ::Commander Astrinal. I have done several laps around the area along with Windtalker. The energon was mined before the Decepticons came. Permission to make my absence ma'am?::
"Ya, I'm gonna' come with you while your at it.. I found something I've- well.. Unprofessionally fell in love with."

Sparkflare raised his optic ridge and shrugged. Lowering his arms and turned away from edge, barely kicking the ground. He didn't have any duty to attend to here. But he didn't want to return to base just yet. Even though he was one of the rare mature and responsible rookies, Sparkflare still could act like a child due to his slight case of ADHD and he does posses irresponsibility issues at times. Sparkflare was expecting to have come here and fight, not just identify a relic of Iacon. Sparkflare then looked at Astrinal leaving, Sparkflare looked around and shrugged, starting to follow the femme. He had nothing better to do other than wait at the terminal at High Grand, waiting for Feenix to come along. Once Sparkflare had caught up with Astrinal, he stayed by her right side slightly behind her.
"Hope you don't mind me following you ma'am. I got nothin' better to do."

"That life is behind me now. Time to wake up now. I'm a thief most wanted", she stood up slowly from her sitting spot. Taggon listened to the confession in her voice. So she was indeed a thief, and someone who possibly, by life circumstances, had been forced to adapt into a thief. Taggon usually made it his habit to try to understand something before he decided what to do with it, depending on the answers he would get would result in him concluding that it was better if the said target was attacked or not. So far, cat scratch seemed to be someone not to attack, since the more Taggon hypothesized, the more he could see how Catscratch was quite possibly a femme in the wrong position by coincidence. Though Taggon did not pass final judgement on her even after that, for he knew she could very well be acting. Some masks could be taken off easy, and other masks weren't. "You are a thief...but the question is Catscratch, did you ever want or always desire to be a thief? Did it all start with you stealing some energon for survival, and it just excelling from there?" Taggon questioned. he was examining her, emptying her pockets and thoroughly scouring her from the outside without touching her, asking questions which held qualities that were designed to make her think some, their sole purpose to draw out answers, which may or may not make her furrow her brow. Taggon himself asked logical questions to himself and others if he was seeing what they were made of some, observing them and soaking some of their personality up before making a for-sure decision about what to do about them. ::Ya, I'm gonna' come with you while your at it.. Astrinal's response to his previous com-link message sounded in his ear-piece, which was set so only he could hear it. Taggon sent back his reply on the private frequency, ::Thank you ma'am.::Taggon would simply reply. He had been very tempted to ask 'Ma'am, please do not miss-use that word,' when she had spoken her last sentence. That would have been correcting his commander however, whom he had sworn unquestioning loyalty to, so no. He wouldn't say that. Lately the way people threw around words made him uncomfortable. Slang was not something he enjoyed at all.

The metal clanking noise vibrating off the walls with each step. "Kaon was hell", she snarled at him as if he insulted her. "I have no desire of turning back to who I was before", Catscratch nearly shouted. It was not hard to tell if the walls were stable enough for her yelling. A collapse of a cave is the last thing she needed. She stopped yelling as she got close to his face, her nails hovering over his mask.

He had said a few wrong words, evidently. The femme was obviously getting aggressive, she even went as far as to bear her claws at him. So she stole for fun? It made Taggon wonder if he had made the quick assumption she was deeper than that, but he was still being too quick to judge, so he wouldn’t yet. Taggon remained calm, not even flinching before the femme as she threatened him with her claws, hissing at him. Kaon was not a place in which she held any real interest then.
“Catscratch. No one is sending you back to Kaon.” Taggon said in a calm tone, his pitch never indicating whether he was amused or frightened by her behavior. The shout had indeed been loud, but Taggon had learned to never flinch before anything fierce or loud, comparing everything he had seen with Catscratch, the femme was nothing too scary yet. The vehicon kept his posture, his visor still facing her, concealing his faceplate entirely.
“If you desire a fight, I will not be scared to fight you, but what precisely do you think you will accomplish assuming you defeat me?” Taggon asked, genuinely interested at what the response was. Perhaps she would justify trying to fight him or continue to threaten him with the fact that he had been trying to uncover some things about her, though that would make her more of a brute, unless she held some bad secrets which she didn’t want anyone to know. The thing was, she had been very straight forward, and quite to the point, and she had not demonstrated in too many ways she had a dark past. Being in Kaon was not a good place to be, but Taggon knew worse places. The way she had described it did imply that not her most favorite things had occurred there, but how deep was she? Taggon pondered on these thoughts as he waited for the result, his senses tuned; waiting for the femme to strike.

"Hope you don't mind me following you ma'am. I got nothin' better to do." Astrinal was an autobot that avoided the limelight, sticking to the crowds and doing what she was told without question. Though it would break rules, it would get done. But since her promotion, Ast had- become the center of attention where she went. It was like a plague, soldiers coming from here and there. And she couldn't even get some time alone in her favorite spot. And the mech that ambushed her tried to cheer her up. Sometimes she wished she could go back to her 'con side for five minutes, and kill the annoying bastard on insanity cases. But that was out of the question, so she had other tatics: being there worst nightmare. But unusually, Sparkflare was one of those who didn't bother her. They just did what they were told, and left her alone. He was kinda like Taggon in a way, only not as fun to pick on. When Sparkflare and Dannybosa declared they'd follower her around, she merely rolled her shoulders and remained silent. Then, at that moment, she spotted Taggon and the Thief. Her voice would pierce through even the thickness of the conversation. "Are you kidding me, Taggon? Did you finally have sympathy for the 'cons? Or something relatable.. I think.." While she'd been talking, Astrinal made a few swift motions behind her back, specifically for Sparkflare and Dannybosa. If they'd gone through training, they were the basic movements for 'be on guard.' Astrinal Tried to get a good look at the intruder- or whoever it was- from the side of Taggon's shoulderpad. The forest green femme hence approached. "So- what's your business here? Let me guess, refuge? No, curiousity."

'Can't say I blame him for giving a 'con sympathy. Have you seen their new leader?' Sparkflare said in to himself in his mind. He hasn't gone a full day with out not insulting Backbeat. He could possibly make a living out of insulting him. Sparkflare saw Astrinal's servo movement. Raising both his servos and opening them up, revealing his duel barrelled gauntlet blasters. Sparkflare awaited Astrinal's next order as she moved on ahead as he stayed where he was, only peering out from the edge to see what was happening.
