APPEARANCE
Optic ( Eye ) Color : Yellow
Primary Paint Color : Red
Secondary Paint Color : White
Height: 26'
Features:
Breech has appalling facial scarring after being hit with an acid frag grenade to the face out on the battlefield. It has both burnt, melted and torn the metal skin on her face. Because of this she keeps her visor down to cover her face as much as possible. While this makes it hard to judge her optics, the rotors on her back give her emotions away, acting like a peacock's, spreading, narrowing and flattening with her mood.
Alternative Mode:
Bell-407 - A utility aircraft with plenty of potential uses, both civilian and military, but the 407 variant still possesses potential for firepower.
ARMOR AND WEAPONRY
Armor
Armor Description: Describe your character's armor. Bullet Point at least two notable features.
- Heaviest on her back, shoulders, and chest.
- The four rotorblades on her back add for extra protection on her lower body.
- Anything less than heavy artilery doesn't do squat on Breech's back.
- Breech's blades and sharp edges mean that melee attacks are easily blocked too.
Weaponry
Primary Weapon : 2x EMP Pistols
Description: Modified for potential close range use.
Secondary Weapon : Scatter Blaster
Description: The force of the blast ranges from a shotgun-style blast, but when fully charged can take down a small building.
Other Weapons : Smoke Grenades, light blades on the backs of her arms and legs.
Gadgets : Displacer - The Displacer throws off all homing missiles - they cannot lock onto Hotwire for more than a few seconds.
Melee : 4x Energon Blades.
Melee Weapon Description : These are the rotors on her back. She can remove them one at a time, using up to two at a time. If one gets broken, she can replace it up to three times. She is incredibly skilled in their use.
OTHER
Personality : After Systemcheck debugged her processor and Personality Chip, Breech's personality was altered to some degree. Once preferring to work alone, she is now okay with team-work. The debugging couldn't fully cure millions of years of damage to her code though, and Breech now suffers from often violent mood swings and paranoia. After remembering her three brothers, she determined to find them.
Although Neutral, Breech knows she's in trouble with the DJD for helping out the Autobots. She remembers some of her past actions with deep regret, knowing that she has tortured and betrayed innocent mechs. She might become an Autobot. Or she might not. Breech's new personality could be very unreliable. She's not really a leader, disliking taking responsibility.
Despite acting like she cares, Breech's remaining nuggets of non-profit-based conscience are extremely small, and it's faster to list the things she won't do for money, and as for her motivations? Well, 'for the money' is as good a reason to kill as any, right?
Courage: 8
Charisma : 5
History : Once, Breech was an investigative journalist. Hearing rumours about the Institute, an Autobot organisation that brainwashed borderline Autobots and Decepticons, she promptly set out to prove it true. She was successful, but she was captured in the process.
Rather than risk making her 'disappear', the Institute decided to make her pro-Council and pro-Autobot, inserting data blocks and a new personality chip into her processor, including the new name of 'Hotwire'. The new chip was supposed to subtly influence her old chip, but instead it clashes, making her both highly emotional, and cold and heartless both at once. Additionally the data blocks confuse and distress her when trying to remember her history.
(After the war escalated Hotwire's family divided, one brother and her father becoming an Autobot, her other brothers becoming Decepticon. Hotwire tried to heal the rift but her attempts failed and one of her brothers was offlined by the other.)
Disillusioned with both sides, Breech chose neutrality and the path of the Mercenary, leaving Cybertron and switching sides many sides, betraying many people in the name of being a mercenary. What she didn't realise was that this was a false past, and she in fact had three brothers whom she left behind. Her new, cold personality clashed with her original personality, gradually driving her more and more insane. Finally she arrived on Earth, where Systemcheck debugged her system. Still hesitant to join the Autobots after how the Institute had treated her, she is currently trying to decide just who she is, and who she should become.
Strengths :
- When it comes to melee battle, there are few who can match Breech when she's using two swords, as she can also slice you up with her kicks and spins.
- Breech's database on enemies is vast. And since she's spent more time with the Autobots, she's actually expanding it.
- Breech's upper-body armour is very strong.
- Breech also possesses many, many system codes for breaking into other people's data banks.
Weaknesses :
- Breech has a pretty shaky mental state, finding it tough to trust anybody after bad experiences on both sides. People also have trouble trusting her.
- Breech's lower body armour is pretty weak.
- Breech isn't as strong or durable as most warrior classes; she relies more on agility and speed.
- Breech has, oh... so many enemies, on all sides.
