In recent events we have noticed more and more users on this forum roleplaying with either no character application or an invalid application which defies logic which has either been approved or is still waiting on approval or just sitting in the under construction section.
A few of the admins want to introduce a system where you have to wait for your character application before being put into a group faction to then allow you to start roleplaying on the forums.
Basically this would then prevent people from roleplaying on that account until their application has been approved.
I want to hear your opinions because if we don't go through with this idea then there will be more complaints about how these characters are getting through.
If its not apporoved then moderators will be hired to approve applications and prevent any bad apps getting through.
I want your opinion on this matter please.

The thing is that we have gradually been having more people who were not on TFU.
Which is in fact kind of what we want, but means that we'll be having to deal with assholes.
I think that this idea should be given a trial run for a week (which is like, five years in Internet time), but also that it only works if we can keep up to date on the Character Applications, meaning that all Mods and Admins should be able to approve character applications.

There will be the problem of alternate accounts. Maybe they could PM an admin to allow the alternate account to join a group too?

Wait, if this is approved, will I lose my position as Head of Character Approval?

No it just means that we'd have to work harder in order to move users into groups. You can still aprove applications.

Mkay then.
The if were gonna' work harder, I'd like to request a title called 'Organizers'. This is a title given to someone so they can ORGANIZE the application area a certain amount of times a week.

have already been criticized as complex. We should focus on simple and efficient methods primarily.
I would suggest waiting a bit before we implement this.

I think this idea will be nice, but what would happen to people who want to play Canons or just Alts? Thats my question, otherwise, its a good Idea, prevents spammers.

I'm kind of torn, I went with no, I think it would save time and allow people to get approved or denied faster, but I'm pretty cool with it either way.

Honestly, the system is already tedious as it is... Changing it more is just going to cause lots of confusion... Which is already my job...

The site was going to turn into something like that one way or another. There is another forum that I rp on and people just waltz in and start rping, it does getting annoying. It's just what happens when there's a lot of users, they practically hide in the crowd.
I like this idea, but you'd need a lot of peoplein order to keep with the program.
