A village in which was once thriving with people until erosion risked the safety of the residents living there.
Is now slowly sinking under water and remains abandoned.
Halberd had found a way to bridge to a small area called 'Newtok' in a northern part of the continent. She looked around, noticing small buildings jutting out from the surface of the water. Upon closer inspection, half the city had crumbled at the edge, leading into a bottomless pit. Poor little town... She thought with a pang of pity. Her city had underwent the same fate of destruction by half of it blowing to bits. In a way, parts of this world had the same problem, she's seen humans fight humans, just like Cybertronian fighting Cybertronian. What was the point? They were all of the same race and originality. Which is why she didn't wear any sort of insignia, because she wasn't on any side. Same went for Diamond, Oh yeah... The femme had hurt her younger sister. Four deep gashes were left on her face, a reminder that she wasn't the same as back then.
Trying to clear her mind of thoughts, Halberd just listened to the small waves that lapped at her trods, it was indeed calming. But something else was causing a headache, then she remembered what Vos had done to her. She didn't know about the nano-bots that were still only in her helm, but it hurt like the pit as she would receive a loud ringing once in a while. The jewels on her crown glimmered brightly as the moon would peek through the clouds. And her red biolights would illuminate the area of red, not the stealthiest way to be standing out in the open. But she only left for some quiet time. Plus, no con would be out here, except for herself.

Vaqus strode through the ground bridge, which had opened about a hectometer from Halberd's location. Vaqus scoured the land with his sharp optics, not bothering to use his visor since he preferred to use just his optics in this scenario. Vaqus identified the form of Halberd, and then made movements towards her, by walking of course. His rotors never hummed now, dead silent.
Vaqus made his way towards Halberd, navigating his way through the land. he did notice that half the city in the distance was submerged in water. Normally Vaqus wouldn't have been feeling sorry for the structures, since he was quite familiar with water, but seeing buildings not meant to be water proof be flooded--it was depressing. Destruction was depressing in general. Vaqus surrpessed a sigh, and continued to approach Halberd. He made himself be quiet, yet not extremely quiet so that when she too saw him, she wouldn't think he was sneaking up on her entirely.
Vaqus kept stepping, approaching Halberd, who stood int he open just ahead of him. Vaqus didn't have much to say, since he really had no comments here. Hahaha, thousands of people probably died here--and that was nothing to laugh about yet.

Halberd's bright purple optics caught a glint in the corner and turned her helm to see Vaqus, she didn't mind the mech sneaking up, but then her spark suddenly felt a wave of emotion as Diamond was suddenly closer. That's when something in her mind kicked in and she swiped a clawed servo at Vaqus. The femme was silent, but the rage on her faceplate was clear. Halberd was gone.
Halberd! Stop! Diamond began to run toward her but stopped upon seeing her sister take out the sinister double ended scythe of hers. It was the only weapon that she didn't need a T-Cog for.

Aero came out of the green vortex and glanced around as his two pedes landed on the ground of this place. The buildings was quite short, seemingly just a bit higher than the ground level. Those seemed to be too small, even for the small humans. On closer inspection, he found that the 'ground' was actually water, and partially submerged building looked shorter than they were. The place seemed deserted... No local activities was detected nearby.
He followed Vaqus and Diamond to where that femme was, who he still didn't know the designation. He trotted through the water. While he didn't like water very much, the water here seemed... dead. Cold and without life. Just some murky water which didn't really flow. He put this aside from his processor, as that might not be the biggest concern now.
As he walked through the waters, he kept close attention to the environment and that femme. He still didn't know what's happening, but paying attention would be an okay precaution.
Suddenly, he saw that red femme waved her sharp claws to Vaqus. He instinctively yelled, "Look out!"
As he was at the end of the three bots that just came here, he was out of the range of that femme, so her melee attacks wouldn't be effective to him unless she moved closer to him. He just hoped that Vaqus could dodge that strike. Seeing the femme took out a scythe, Aerojet revved and warmed up his engines, preparing for any sudden movements from her. He didn't back away at the moment. From the previous encounter with her on the beach in the Mediterranean, she showed no characteristics of a violent bot. He was willing to observe before he decided to make any actions.

Vaqus had had his eyes on Halberd, and as he had approached her, he had been confident he was fairing nicely. She hadn't freaked out, or done anything to kill him so far. Then, the voice of Diamond echoed from behind, and Halberd suddenly turned from a peaceful jeweled femme to a killer.
'Watch out!' Aerojet's voice shouted, before she slashed at Vaqus, but the mech had relaxes to begin with, and thus he jolted his body to the side, quickly dodging the sudden attack. Vaqus found himself about to reach for his own weapon when he recalled that he was supposed to not be hurting Halberd, but playing it defensive. That was going to be easy right? Nope. Halberd unsheathed a large, scythe that seemed to be having a desire to dig itself into vaquses spark.
Vaqus: Frag.
Vaqus summed up his emotions into one word, and then he allowed his sharp, double edged blades to expand out of his forearms. They were the exact length of claymores, and they were both shape and ready for combat. Vaqus decided that he would be using these for offense exclusively, in this instance. Which meant no grenades, and he couldn't pull out his own scythe. The Aquatronian simply locked eyes with the femme, waiting for her next move.
Vaqus: If you two are going to drink some energon while you're standing there, then do it already. or, you guys could come up with something while I fend her off--
Vaqus suggested, keeping his visor as handy as his blades.

Halberd glared at Vaqus for a moment more, as if trying to decode something. He wasn't the one she wanted to attack. The bond would remain strong, and start to distract Halberd's mind, but she sensed that this bot knew her sister, and wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone who got in the way of her target. So, using a make-shift voice out of vibrations, a new distorted voice spoke, Leave. The red gem on her forehelm glinted, as did her optics. Help.... Her spark sent to Diamond. Halberd! A step, then another, and Halberd came closer to Vaqus like a predator. However, she hid her signs of wanting to attack very well, but the servo in which was clenching the scythe's handling bar started to shake, as if gripping to hard. Halberd no! Stop! Diamond screeched through the bond, and the red bot flinched back a bit.

Vaqus concentrated on keeping his wits about him, and took steps back as Halberd took steps towards him. As guarded as her emotions and intentions were, Vaqus still was ready to defend himself from the femme.
'Leave', came the vibrant voice from the femme, and it sent a small chill down Vaquses back. The voice was quaky, and it had it's own miniature echo, making it sound all the more creepy. It reminded him of a Quintesson's most popular face, the skeleton and pharaoh looking faceplate. The tone and pitch that Halberd had used could fit a female Quintesson perfectly. Vaqus just stood his ground though. Reckless courage was a vice of his, and it applied here and now. The lapping of water met the rhythm of Diamond's footsteps, and vaqus took a second to steal a glimpse of the fair blue femme before he spoke.
Vaqus: Diamond, I really don't think now is the time to greet your sister--I have a hunch she isn't in the mood to be greeted. But you know. Just a hunch.
Vaqus said, his words were warning, yet they still had Vaquses style of small hints of sarcasm in them. Vaqus then kept his optics on Halberd.

Don't hurt him, he hasn't done anything to you, Diamond began to speak as if Halberd could crack anymore and suddenly break. She slowly crept closer in the 'nice and easy' manner. You haven't done anything wrong yet, you can still walk away from this... Her voice wasn't at all shaky, more of a calm and caring tone, I need some sleep, I can't go on like this... Waves of care and calmness was sent through to her sister, who seemed to be slowing down. I tried counting sheep, but there's one I always miss, Diamond would practically glitter against the moon light as she reached out a servo to her sister. Everyone says, you're getting down to low, everyone says, you just gotta let it go, just gotta let it go...

Aerojet walked slowly and gently to where that femme was, but was being careful and hoped that she wouldn’t feel he was sneaking up on her. He was also attentive about his path, while being open in sight, he tried not to approach from an entire different angle so that she might not have the feeling of being surrounded. Well, they didn’t really attempted to surround her, But Aero was a bit concerned that she might misunderstood.
Hearing Vaqus sarcastic comment, he couldn’t help but replied, “I didn’t bring any graded energon with me. Besides, I’m too young to drink.”
From Diamond and that femme’s conversation, albeit a bit one-sided, he caught that the red bot’s name is Halberd. Halberd seemed to get calmer, her movements slowed down and less vigorous as Diamond tried to communicate with her. That seemed to be a good sign.
Now Aero didn’t dare to move suddenly or move substantially, as he worried that might trigger something in Halberd cans cause her to go all ballistic again.
But despite all of his precaution, there would still be a chance that she would fly into a rage again. He kept his optics on her, watching out for any hostile movement. In this range, Halberd could stike him by just moving a few steps forward. Diamond was also in immediate attack range. He readied his turbofans and prepared to make any moves needed. He didn’t want any bots here harmed, including Halberd.

Vaqus remained were he was. Halberd was getting calmer, and that meant less chance of a fight. Vaqus considered lowering his own blades to calm her, despite the risk. Vaqus sighed as he let his blades slip back into his forearms, but he stayed wary of Halber'd movements. Easy girl. That's it---calm down, calm down. Vaqus thought. He didn't lower his visor, since that would be rendering himself a little too defenseless for his tastes. The moonlight was now present, allowing the current bots witness yet another full night. Vaqus would have been looking to the stars, and the moon, sorting through peaceful and pleasant memories, but now he couldn't afford to do that.
Diamond continued to sing what Vaqus guessed was a sister lullaby, or something soothing. Either way, Vaqus enjoyed music to good extents, and he too listened to the tune, and discovered that apparently, Diamond had a been gifted with a good singing voice. In war such as this, it wasn't a particularly good gift to have in most circumstances, but it was something in the 'normal' section. Or, more like it, what some mechs and femmes would consider to be a neutral kind of talent.
It was good to have those kinds of talents handy though, should you survive the war, and then make it back to the peaceful ways of things. Vaqus tried to stay focused on Halberd, and ignored Aerjet's comment. Really, he should be speaking now, in the midst of Diamond casting her musical spell. Vaqus was still but a few steps away from attacking distance, but at the moment, it was irrelevant. He had to act calm to let the atmosphere be calm, so that was that.

Diamond got closer and closer, her servo full stretched out to grab the wrist in which held the scythe. A very risky move in her books, but it had to be done. ...just gotta let it go. within an inch of contact, they both felt a sharp feeling in their sparks that Diamond nor Halberd had sent. It was as if something said 'Shut up'. It caused Diamond to rear back as a warning when Halberd suddenly sliced through the air with the weapon, just clipping Diamond's neck. A small cut that was nothing to worry about. Gripping her throat in fear that her sister had done worse, the blue femme saw that same glint, but it was more dangerous. Halberd truly had been lost to evil and Decepticon thoughts. Taking more steps back as Halberd seemed to stare her down, the femme wanted to turn tail and run, but something told her to wait for a second. So the lullaby wasn't enough to calm her sister, and so reasoning was not an option. Halberd would suddenly attack soon, and the blue femme got in a stance that said 'Ready', just like the old sparring days, except her life was on the line.

Aerojet kept silent as Diamond was singing to Halberd. He felt a bit nervous as he watched. He genuinely hoped Diamond would success and Halberd would calm down. Please be okay, Aero said in his processor. He tensed up as they got near, and stared as Diamond reached out her servo, and almost touched her sister.
Suddenly Halberd strike.
Aero's optics sharpened as soon as she made a movement. He rushed forward, and attempted to pull Diamond back. But he was too late, as the weapon swiped through the air. He looked at Diamond, and noticed the small wound at her throat. He gasped, feeling horrified about what happened. Halberd just attacked her sister! He looked back at Halberd, who stood there sternly. He was terrified. He didn't know what to do. Is Halberd hostile? She attacked her own sister, but that's a bit inconsistent with her formal behaviour. What should he do? He began to feel a bit panic.
Then, he saw Diamond getting into a battle ready stance. Seeing that calmed him down somehow. Diamond hadn't give up. Aero guessed she would feel a lot more pressure than him, seeing her sister like this. But she still didn't give up. He guessed he shouldn't too.
Venting a bit, he tried to collected himself and opened a temporary comm channel, linking it to Vaqus' and Diamond's signals. Halberd shouldn't be able to hear him unless she has some special equipments.
::Do we have any plans or objectives?::

Everything had been working out perfectly, and Diamond had even had the power to come right in front of Halberd, and look into the femme's optics. Then something happened that Vaqus wanted to kick himself for. Halberd attacked Diamond, and left the femme more scrathded up then she had started out. Vaqus should have seen it coming. Halberd had no more control over the matter whether she was good or bad now, and now she was going to try to end her sister. Possibly Aerojet as well, if he got involved too badly. Well, if Halberd wanted to start a killing spree, then she was going to have to go through him. The Aquatronian let his blades extend from his fore arm gauntlets once more, and now still within stepping distance, took a dive for her, intending to tackle her into the waters from the side.
He swiped one of his blades as he came in from Halberd's left flank, the intention of the swipe not to fatally wound Halberd for Diamond's sake, but to hit the hilt of the scythe, and either sever it, or hit it out of Halberd's grasp. Either way, Vaqus was hurtling for Halberd. As Vaqus closed in on the red and purple jeweled femme, he received a message from Aerojet:
'Do we have any plans or objectives?'
Vaqus: ::Stay alive and keep all limbs intact!::

Diamond knew her sister well, and most of her moves were recognizable. The scythe she held had opposite blades, so if the top was facing forward, the bottom would face forward if it was flipped. It was good for tearing through enemies back in the day. Vaqus! Diamond sqwuaked, running forward and shoving him out of the way when Halberd twirled the blades. The larger femme let out a loud hiss that more or less sounded like a rattle snake. Her technique is dangerous, we can't beat her! Her voice sounded serious fearful for her friend's safety. The other femme stomped towards them, but her attacks ended in a pause, then Diamond had an idea, Run! She remembered that Halberd never had a lot of stamina because she was a seeker, and seekers were always flying, not running on the ground. It would burn her energy, and let them escape with no further harm.

Vaqus suppressed a frustrated sigh when Diamond pushed him away from Halberd. Vaqus had been sure that he would have had that red femme easily, if Diamond hadn't drawn attention to him. Oh well. Vaqus nodded at Diamond, who then concluded they should run. Vaqus was a mech who usually came prepared despite his luck, and his enemies, Vaqus always had a back up plan. or usually. Otherwise, he was pretty good at improvising. Diamonds suggestion of run-in really wasn't the best in vaquses book, considering he had grenade launchers, gasoline streams, machine gun-laser cannons, and grappling hooks to work with, but if Diamond knew Halberd well enough to say the other femme was too deadly, so be it. Plus, killing the femme wasn't the objective was it? vaqus had just stated that they stay alive.
But, he often made things up as he went.
Vaqus: Whatever you say, Diamond.
Vaqus shrugged, although stubbornly holding his ground sounded much more fun. Vaqus tugged on Aerojets arm, before she let go, reeling the mech in the direction of the sprint. Wait a minute. If Diamond was using grounder techniques to make Halberd lose stamina, then Aerojet couldn't last much longer on ground could he? Perhaps he could fly off? No, Halberd could just transform and then pursue him.
Vaqus: If you need a servo Aerojet, then speak up.
Vaqus warned, as his heavy frame began to pound it's way through the ankle deep waters, following Diamond.

Aerojet watched a bit helplessly. He didn't have any weapons. He was just a civilian who somehow got an Autobot insignia. His defence relies only on his speed and agility. He couldn't help defend others.
He looked around nervously, finding something that might be useful. He noticed there was a metal lamppost just beside him. He tentatively pulled it up. Well, this place was deserted, so destroying properties wouldn't do much harm? The salt water corroded the base of the post, so even Aero didn't have much strength, he could still pick it up. He swung the 10ft long rod a bit, hoping that the rusting post would at least withstand a blow of a scythe. That might be a bit too optimistic, Aero thought silently, but he guessed it would be better than none.
Putting the rod in front of him in a defending stance, he watched Halberd's movement closely, looking out for any potential strikes.
Then he heard Diamond telling them to run. Blinking his optics a few times, he still not quite understand the reason. But he supposed being Halberd's sister, she know what would be the most appropriate move. He nodded to the femme as a response before he began to ran in the direction Vaqus tugged him to. He said to Vaqus, "Thank you." He stayed close to Vaqus and Diamond. He wasn't strong, but with his jet, he should be able to pull or push them away from the path of the scythe if they couldn't dodge it in time. He really didn't want to see his friends to be hurt again, especially after seeing Halberd wounded Diamond's neck right in front of him, and he hadn't been able to stop it.
Being a flyer, he wasn't quite used to running. He hoped he wouldn't be caught up by Halberd... Wait a minute. Halberd's aerodynamic armour seemed to be showing that she also had a flyer alt-mode. So did that mean they're trying to make Halberd lose stamina by making her run on the ground? But why don't she just transform and fly to where they are? That would be a lot faster and less stamina consuming. Aero was a bit confused.
Anyway, he activated his turbofans on the back and tilted it a bit, making it pointed backwards. It provided him more forward force and would save his stamina. He surely wouldn't want Halberd to outrun him.

Diamond looked back, seeing Halberd chasing them with determination. It was too soon to tell if she was slowing down or speeding up, but at this point it looked to be both. You two! Get out of her range! You can swim, and you can fly! And I will die. She growled at herself for thinking that. The thumping and splashing of the huge femme behind them shook the earth and caused the water itself to shake around them. An electronic sounding rattle came from Halberd's throat, and that was a sign Diamond knew from many eons ago. It was the urge to kill. Before the war, Halberd had participated in the arena once, it wasn't hard for her to get an easy kill. But ever since then there had always been something growing inside her. Taking one last glance behind her, she noticed that Halberd had stuck to the same distance, obviously not being able to go faster, which was odd. Diamond couldn't go any faster due to the water and small buildings that probably weren't even buildings anymore were slowing her down. Nothing could be felt across the bond except hate and thrill, but something then suddenly spoke to Diamond, and it was actually Halberd's voice, that didn't sound at all angry or hateful, it was scared and hopeful. I'm sorry... please, do what you must to stop this.... You want me to.... The little femme couldn't believe what she had received. If everyone else was going to be safe, there had to be a sacrifice.

Vaqus kept running, hearing the thud of the larger femme coming in from behind them. She wasn't gaining though. Vaqus recalled that not only had he the weapons he had previously thought up of, but he also had a Nucleon Charge rifle in his subspace. That could prove to be useful, if Diamond wanted them to get at a safe distance. Just as Vaqus was about to suggest his own strategy of countering this one rogue femme Diamond urged them to flee. Vaqus furrowed his brows. Flee? Now? And leave her behind? I don't think so. Vaqus thought, and then spoke up after clearing his throat.
Vaqus: Two things Daimond,
Vaqus said, holding up two fingers as they continued to run,
Vaqus: One; I can't swim in water that's up to my ankle when I'm a twenty one foot robot. Two; I still can get away with my hover capability, but I there's three of us, and one of her. I could use my grenades, snipe her from a distance, use my machine guns..are you sure just all out running is what's going to do the job here? Plus, you're leaving yourself behind, risking yourself unnecessarily and all that--
Vaqus then turned to Aerojet.
Vaqus: Arojet, say something logical now. Say something logical and convincing.
Vaqus said, and then watched Diamond look back to her sister, and there was that strange silence as if there was mental communication. Vaqus raised a brow, Diamond seemed like she was going to stick to her strategy--which maybe wasn't the best in this situation. That meant Vaqus had to make up for it. Vaqus sighed, and then transformed,
Vaqus: Nevermind.
He said, twisting into his aquatic form, and activating the hover capabilities. he gave Diamond a chance to latch on before he zoomed away, heading for a distant half-sunken building. It was there, that he would use the cover for a sniping post.

Aero continued running away from Halberd. So... how long would they be running to make Halberd exhausted? She seemed to be still following them. Then he heard Diamond, who told them to get out of the ranges. Aerojet frowned a bit when he heard that. How about Diamond herself?
Actually if they wanted to escape, it would be very easy. Just open a Groundbridge and back to the base. It would immediately let them escape this life-threatening scenario, but it also meant they would leave Halberd behind. This is something Aero refuse to do.
Then he heard Vaqus, who again said something very reasonable. He guessed that among the three of them, Vaqus was the best in terms of coming up with tactics or strategies. Then Vaqus told him to say something logical. He blinked a bit, not sure how to respond. Say something logical to whom? To convince Diamond not to leave herself behind or to convince Halberd to stop? He took a glance backward, and saw Halberd walking formidably. Feeling nervous simply by looking at her, he automatically assumed Vaqus wanted him to convince Diamond. But still, he couldn't just churn out something logical, or something that sounded logical on request. So he decided to ignore this comment.
Aerojet said to Diamond, "Vaqus' right. Take risks only when you absolutely needed to. I don't think this is the case. You can choose a less risky method without compromising anything. Why not?"
He then gestured Diamond to get away with Vaqus. If she went with Vaqus, Aerojet would turn one hundred and eighty degrees, and use the rotational momentum to help him throw the lamppost to Halberd. He would aim at the body trunk, where the armour seemed to be the thickest. A rusty post shouldn't do much harm to a bot with armour. It would just merely slowed her down. He doubted a little if the rod can hit the target. He didn't practise much in accuracy. Even if it hit her by luck, he thought Halberd could easily blocked it... Anyway, he would transform and fly away after he threw that post. Maybe heading in a small angle different to that of Vaqus and Diamond, to see if Halberd would be irritated and follow him instead. He should be the fastest one here, and it would be less dangerous if Halberd follow him instead of Vaqus and Diamond.
But if Diamond didn't leave, he would have to stay too. If that's the case, then he of course wouldn't throw his only defence to the approaching femme.

No! I know what I have to do, and it'll hurt me more than it'll hurt you both. Diamond glared at them both. I don't want you guys to see it either so get out of here! Diamond practically roared over the sounds of water splashing. Tears had threatened to fall from her bright blue optics as she ran, I'll be okay, I promise. Her voice got shakey now, showing true emotion.
