"No he was not nutty. What I did, I still remember to this day... parts of it anyway... I lost the family name, my status in the clan. Everything. And I fragging deserved it."
*She looks at Burnout, the face of a very young femme showed to him for a split second. She then says.*
"Yes I did. And... if I tell you, I beg that you find it in yourself to forgive me."

You have to tell me, you keep on looking away whenever we mention my abilities as an elemental... how emotional blocks can be broken through events unfolding.
Was it the death of your parents?

"Because I do not want what happened to me, to happen to you. Yes it was... but... most of it was of my doing."
*She sighs and looks her son in the optics.*
"I was the catalyst of the destruction of Simfur and the deaths of over 3,000 civilians."

But you were young, the same age as dad was back then... how could someone so young burn Simfur to the ground?
Was it because of the elemental block?
The mech vents.
If the same thing happens to me, you're scared I might burn down a city too?

"Because my fire powers were that terrible, I was so consumed with rage, with the idea of revenge. I went to Simfur to find the hunting party that killed my parents, I thought I was honouring my parents souls by killing their killers. An eye for an eye I thought. I was so wrong. I was dragged up to the elders of all the clans and I was exiled. Yes it was triggered by an elemental block being unblocked and... I couldn't control it."
*She looks away and continues.*
"Yes I am, not cause of your rage. That doesn't even matter. I am worried that you might not be able to control it, and instead, it controls you."

I too know what it's like destroying something... I understand where Feenix is coming from.
*Afterburner vents.*
Although, my story is more complicated than that.

What is your story Afterburner, how did you survive? Mom said that everyone died or never came back from the attack.

I wasn't at Simfur, in fact I wasn't even near there. I was in a safe haven at Iacon, where my parents were teaching me my skills in my powers and combat training as a soldier of war. That's how I survived, because I wasn't even part of it.

How come you guys never saw Feenix, or Gearchange... or my brother and sister? Unless Iacon spans more than just one city on Earth?

"Iacon had many sub-districts Burnout, your father and I were stationed in the beating heart of the city because I was the Predacon Rebel Leader and I was part of the command."
*Feenix says, glad the conversation had changed.*

Unfortunately my stay in Iacon was short lived. I was captured after my parents died.

So I've heard, I'm sorry to hear that... but my mom said that this thing happened to those who didn't alight themselves to the cons.
Makes me glad in a way I wasn't born during those times... No offence.

None taken, I wasn't there by choice, I was enslaved, ten years I learned how to obey, kill and throughout my years of torture, humiliation and being forced to fight in the beast pits. My morals went along with my humility.
Those years drove me insane.

Burnout looks to Feenix when Afterburner mentions the pits of kaon.
That sounded awful...

From her perch behind them, Dashside continued to sharpen the knife on her left forearm. Behind her polarized visor, they couldn't see the wide grin on her faceplate, and with the helmet's communicator that allowed her voice to travel through said helmet, they couldn't her the incessant muttering as she dragged out the scraping of the kukri, getting to the point where every scrape lasted five seconds, to the point where the shrieking of the blade against the metal was very, very loud.

Thank you! I won't fail.

Another bot, another member of the family.
Burnout smiles, then turning his attention to the noise of steel being sharpened.

Dashside continued to scrape the blade, as the muttering stopped. it really only seemd to flare up for about a minute, but she kept dragging out the sharpening process, not even looking up at any of them.

"Indeed. Welcome to the cause. Now come on, let's return home and sort out the business."
*Feenix turns on her heel and heads off towards the bridge.*
"Son. Shall we go and conduct the cermony for the markings?"
