Kick-Start, in alt-mode, burst through the doors of the Med-Bay, squealed to a halt and transformed, with three Vehicons supporting the horribly injured Soundwave.
"Put him on the table," she indicated to them. It was already set at her height, and she started to hurry about the lab. The very first thing she did was hook up Energon feeds to Soundwave. His levels were in a critical state.
The problem right now was that he was bleeding out almost as fast as she was putting Energon back in, and she picked up her welder.
"Don't be afraid, Soundwave," she told him, "I've treated far worse injuries than yours, and they've pulled through just fine... I can assure you that you're in the very best of servos."

There wasn't much he could really say in response, seeing as his audials were still ringing, so he simply kept his gaze on the ceiling. The fresh Energon in his systems were a short lived experience, as it merely flowed straight back out through the missing chunk of his neck. The thing that even slightly worried him, aside from dying and being unable to further the cause, was the shot he'd sustained to his back. A shot had ricocheted off the top of his chest, leaving behind a small dent, and gone up into his throat just under his chin. Cutting through wires and tubing, the shot had exited out through the back of his helm without leaving much of an exit wound. He detected no serious problems with his processor, so he assumed it hadn't been hit, but there was always the chance...

Then Kick-Start did something Soundwave definitely hadn't expected. She put both hands in a very specific place on his chassis. Her optics gloved a darker red, and she spoke in a flat drone almost identical to Soundwave's.
"Eject. Eject. Eject. Eject."
One-by-one, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage and Lazerbeak left his chest and settled safely on other surfaces. They weren't in anything like as bad a mess as Soundwave.
But regular Cybertronians shouldn't be able to summon his Casseticons for him. For a start, they shouldn't know how. But Kick-Start had found with astonishing - if Soundwave could actually be astonished - accuracy the Eject button on his chest.
"They'll be fine. It's you I really need to focus on." Kick-Start opened Soundwave's chassis. Everybody knew it was completely impossible for one Decepticon, who also transformed into a human-sized tape-deck, to carry four other Decepticons in his chest.
Therefore, Soundwave's chest didn't just have the conventional wiring of any other 'con, but also a lot of other things.
"You really are in the very best possible hands," she told him, speaking softly whether he cared or not, "You're leaking even worse than you look - it's draining right into your subspace. It might have gone unnoticed. But fortunately I know exactly how to operate on the Infinite Void of Subspace."

( Done, although that is kind of what I meant in the first place. And what, don't you like a girl with magic hands?)

(( Of course I do, just not when it comes to pulling stuff out of my chest. ))
The five Mini-cons landed in a diamond formation, each letting out some form of battle cry as their weapons surged into life, ready to kill whatever Soundwave had called them for. But nothing was there, no Autobot giant, no terror from the depths, just a clean, bright Medbay... Turning around in unison, the ones with pose-able optics widened their eyes in shock as Soundwave's blue tinted form laid before them, the fact they could actually see up onto the berth he was on adding to their surprise. Running, flying and bounding over to their master's Energon covered form, they quickly surrounded his helm and ignored any interruptions from the femme medic.
Frenzy: Wave! What happened?! Rumble: Autobots?! Decepticons?! Whose head do I smash?!
The two brothers quickly asked, the former crouched down beside his helm while the other looked just about ready to bring the whole ship down. Ratbat and Lazerbeak were nosily hovering above his chest, letting out various screeches and other sounds that all but one truly understood. Ravage immediately took up the offensive, leaping up onto the berth and standing before Kick-Start, angrily baring his sharp fangs and growling loudly. Soundwave meanwhile had entered a state of stasis, his body's natural way of dealing with the lack of a stable stream of Energon flowing through his veins.

Kick-Start delved elbow-deep into the infinite void in Soundwave's chassis, welding to stop the severe leaking.
"There's clearly been a fight, boys," she told them. If one had actually looked into Soundwaves chassis, one might have seen a black void... but they could also have convinced themselves that there were unfamiliar stars twinkling in them.
"Soundwave's a tad... incapacitated right now," she pulled out one Energon-stained arm and petted Ravage with it, "Settle down, you two," she added to the two flying Cassetticons, "And put your weapons away, Rumble."
Of course, they hardly listened to her. But at least Soundwave wasn't bleeding internally any more. She continued her work on the deep gouges in his chest.
"I think," she said slowly, "I think the worst is over, Soundwave... of course if you leave this Med-Bay to give your report to Lord Shockwave now, it'll also end up being your Eulogy." She worked on his arm, patching up a gushing cut, "Don't worry guys. He's in my capable hands."
She didn't blame them for being angry and scared though. Life was horrible for a Cassetticon without their Carrier.

Abruptly, Kickstart recieved a Comm from Shockwave. She muttered to herself.
"Report to the Brig... Coming, Lord Shockwave!"
She looked at Soundwave, surrounded by his concerned Cassetticons.. He was certainly looking a LOT better than he had been, still hooked up to the input valve for Energon.
"You'll be fine now Soundwave... just don't make any sudden movements, and be careful about ow you use your Infinite Void. And fill up on Energon before you next head out."
She smiled calmingly at him, then started packing medical tools on a trolley and wheeled them out. If somebody was to be repaired in the Brig, then they would be an Autobot, and they would be badly hurt. Logic.

(( Sorry for not posting, life got slightly hectic. ))
Soundwave had come to by the time Kick-Start had completed most of his repairs, simply remaining still and allowing her to finish what she had started. His mini-cons had resigned themselves, begrudgingly, to the four corners of his operating berth. Ratbat and Lazerbeak exchanged small chips and quiet screeches as Rumble and Frenzy played rock, paper, scissors, the latter was winning. Ravage had remained the ever silent guardian, quietly seating himself at the corner closest to Soundwave's helm and overwatching the operation. After the news came that the medic would be leaving, the small group of cassettes quickly leapt off the berth, or flew, and stood at attention. Lifting himself from the berth with a small whirl of motors humming into life, he slowly reached up and disconnected the various tubes and hoses attached to him, each giving off a little hiss as they were taken from his frame.
Moving around and placing his pedals on the ground, he slowly pushed himself up onto his boxy legs with a groan of joints stressing under the weight. Staring blankly at the far wall as he ran a quick check of his systems, his visor flashed suddenly and he moved his gaze downward to the gathering of mini-cons at his pedals. Reaching up to the top of his chest, he extended a single digit and sharply pressed down on the small button present. Snapping open the moment after doing so, the front section of his vertical chest plate split open, allowing the group of mini-cons to convert into their cassette modes and fly into the space.
Closing up his chest with a small click, he turned towards the door and strode out, heading for the bar of all places first.
