BASICS
Designation: Kryse
Nicknames: NA
Gender: Femme
Age: Several hundred stellar cycles, not counting cryo-sleep. Equivalent to roughly 16-17
Home Planet: Small Cybertronian colony on a planet dubbed Helios
[Optional]Home City State: No official city-states on home world. Family residence was one of only a hundred or sol on the entire planet.
Faction: Neutral. Ancestors fled long before the inception of the factions, not wanting to participate in the stunting cast-system which Cybertron had recently introduced.
Rank: N/A
Occupation: No real occupation. Skilled scout and smith.
APPEARANCE
Optic Color: silvery blue, very bright.
Primary Paint Color: Silver
Secondary Paint Color: red
Third Color [Optional]: inner framing darker grey, where visible
Height: 4.3 meters, 13'5"
Build: Long legs, thin extremities, very pronounced hour-glass shape.
Alternative Mode:
As Kryse's homeworld was mostly gas, with a bottomless ocean at the center and only a few islands, Kryse's altmode is an extremely specialized mechanical insect; shaped like an enormous, silvery moth, wasp, or bee, it bears six legs. All of them are extremely long and possess multipled, multi-directional joints. Each is tipped with a scythe-like extremity, smaller grasping digits extending below this. The abdomen is smooth and mostly featureless, composed of Kryse's aft and hips. The thorax is almost recognizable as her chest, and sits hooded under a pair of massive, multi-part wings, styled most closely after a moth. These are flexible and composed of tens of thousands of light, vulnerable, feather-like extrusions. The head is large and sleek, closely resembling that of a wasp, albeit more streamlined, with jaws designed to grasp and hold instead of pierce.
ARMOR AND WEAPONRY
Armor: A seldom-used compound similar in texture and weight to titanium, as it is light and durable, though not so much as heavier metals found on the fiercesome war bots of Cybertron.
Armor Description: Generally relatively thin, her silvery armor is thickest over her hips, thighs, and chest. Designed not with the brutal angularity and efficiency of those involved in the Cybertron war, it's angles are all sleek tapers and attractive curves, engraved patterns and decorative marks covering much of its surface. At its thickest, it is roughly 3". At its thinnest, a centimeter.
Armor Perks ( optional ): Excellent insulator, effectively repelling all manners of heat and radiation, while keeping out the cold.
Weaponry
Primary Weapon: Kinetic repulsor; the weapon is long and thin, shaped similar to a human musket or antique shotgun, albeit more compact and with a much more futuristic design. It produces a massive kinetic blast, knocking attackers away and stunning them. It was never really designed for warfare, and while it packs an impressive wallop, it lacks range and is imprecise at more than a few dozen meters' distance. Kryse generally used it to fend off wildlife, remove obstacles, etc.
Primary Weapon Perks: While it may not have been designed with the purpose of slaughtering one's enemy with brutal efficiency in the nastiest way possible, being on the recieving end does feel rather like being struck by a freight-train.
Secondary Weapon: None.
Secondary Weapon Perks: It's from the future, and still in the future, which is to say, Kryse does not have it.
Other Weapons:
A long, double-ended spear given to Kryse mainly because she thought it looked cool, and it did no good rusting in the family vault. Curiously, it doesn't seem to actually rust... Or do anything. It's been in the family for as long as the history-archives stretch, and may be more than it appears. Despite much misuse and abuse, it is exactly as pristine as when Kryse's great, great, great grandparents held it.
Other Weapon Perks: It is, by all appearances, indestructible, or the next best thing. Unlike her other gear, it is very much suited to killing; the edges are wickedly, brutally sharp, and about as hard as pointy, stabby things can get. The source of its durability lies in the nature of its true power being to absorb and redirect almost any type of energy, be it kinetic, thermal, electrical, etc.
Gadgets:
An energon scanner and comm-unit. Oh, and a small, rusty first-aid kit that's been in her pockets since about forever.
Melee: The aforementioned spear, which can be used to stab and swipe just as easily as it can be thrown. Excellent at piercing even heavy armor, due to its extraordinary hardness and sharpness.

Personality
Kryse was raised on Helios with her parents, a handful of pets, and the very few neighbors close enough to interact with on a regular basis. With only one other sparkling to interact with as a youngster, she didn't get to learn much in the way of actual social dynamics. She may seem rude, arrogant, or downright weird at times, but she's also kind, enthusiastic, and fairly good at talking to people and engraciating herself. She doesn't like the concept of killing or brutal fighting, but she's willing to defend herself, and she relishes racing and contests. She has a deep fear of enclosed spaces and being traps, and she loves the outdoors and open spaces. Back on Helios, she was fond of flying into the upper atmosphere, above the clouds and storms, so she could see the spectacular display of stars and nebulas that surrounded her planet. While she would never say it, out of both fear and respect, she's a little racist against those who stayed on Cybertron to fight; she thinks the whole war is brutal, awful nonsense that could have been avoided. She knows rationally that the Autobots tried their best to avoid it, but it's how she feels deep down. Her upbringing instilled her with a deep, almost superstitious dread of Megatron and the Decepticons; stories relayed across the data web and through traders gave her an idea of the brutality and spite the purple-logoe'd faction is capable of.
History:
Born on Helios, Kryse was raised by two loving parents. She spent her formative years looking at pictures of the stunning storms and beautiful stars visible on her homeworld. As soon as she was old enough to speak, she asked to see the outdoors, the oceans, the skies, the stars. When she was capable, her parents relented, and she quickly revealed herself to be a capable scout and explorer, in addition to a skilled flyer. She spent scores of years exploring the beautiful planet she called home. Periodically, she went on trading-trips with her father, taking scans of beautiful nebulas and distant worlds. As she grew older, she was even allowed to make the journeys solo, or explore the world's two moons. Along the way, she was taught the social etiquettes of a society that she would never see and trained with weapons she would probably never use. While not all of the tutoring stuck, much of it did, and she's a capable fighter when her civilian upbringing is taken into account. As anyone knows, all good things end eventually. Desperate for resources, a Decepticons frigate tracked the trader who bartered goods with them, arriving at Kryse's home world and declaring Helios to be under the law of Megatron. Kryse fled, along with many others. Her family were not among those who succeeded in fleeing; they were caught before they could join Kryse, though they succeeded in seing her off. The family's long-range ship, ancient and not used for terracycles, functioned only to an extent. It's warp-drive would not initiate, and Kryse was forced to enter stasis to weather the breadth of time between herself and her destination; a small world in a distant area of the Galaxy with a large Energon signature and, reportedly, evidence of Cybertronian tech stashed there.
Family:
All deceased or captured a millenia ago, when Kryse launched. Current status unknown. Information irrelevant.
Strengths:
- Kryse is a capable athlete and flyer, nimble and impressively fast, with excellent reaction-time
- She has an excellent understanding of scouting and navigating in unknown places.
- Her armor is extremely resistant to heat in cold.
- She can use her spear proficiently, though she's never actually stabbed another 'bot with it.
Weaknesses:
- Her armor is designed more for aesthetic and protection against the elements than fighting. In robot-mode, it has gaps to her soft, flexible underchassis, rendering her vulnerable to the vicious fighting Autobots and Decepticons excell at.
- She has never been in a real fight before, much less killed someone. She knows how to use her spear, but it's quite another thing to run someone through with it.
- She has a deep fear of decay and, close places.
- While not socially inept in the least, she's unfamiliar with Cybertronian social dynamics and tenancies.
-She has little knowledge of Cybertronian weapons and tech, as the gear she was raised with was created ages ago and used different coding and principals.
Special Abilities:
Kryse is capable of mimicking the forms of other non-organic objects with mass close to hers down to the smallest detail. For simple things, such as human technology, she need only get a good look at her target. For Cybertronian tech or individuals, she must make physical contact with what she wants to mimic. Kryse cannot keep the blueprints for previously mimicked constructs or individuals; once she shifts back to her default form, she must see or touch it again to take the form. In the case of vehicles, devices, and cybertronians, she can mimic the subject's voice, weapons, etc.
SAMPLE RP
Her massive wings made a muffled, fuzzy thump each time they struck the air. The wind felt good on her chassis as she tipped gradually into a dive, not bothering to use her boosters or repulsors. It was mid-evening, and a storm brewed miles below her, thin, iridescent purple cobwebs of mist trailing towards the thick, deep-grey thundercell below. Though it looked large and close, it was hundreds of kilometers below, and not something to worry about. In fact, it was a large part of what made the experience so exciting. She was diving at a nearly shear angle now, air whistling and moaning over the contours of her altmode. She enjoyed the feeling for a few minicycles.....
Then she let her boosters roar to life, causing her entire body to jolt and shudder as she opened one wing, spinning herself around and committing all her power to said thrusters. With a boom, she's now traveling up, pale blue sun visible as it slides below the horizon. Though the wind pulls at her, she increases her speed further. Further. A sharp, distinct "pop" spreads across the sky as she breaks the sound barrier, a small halo of friction-heat forming across her helm. Her audio-sensors crackle with the noise of the pressure on her body.... But she ignores it. The clouds are below her. The whole world is below her, Helios' curve clearly visible at the periphery of her vision.... The stars slowly become visible..... At first they are small, dim, unsteady specs of colorless light. After a moment, they are brighter, more constant, and accompanied by a more indistinct and colorful glow. As Kryse leaves the last vestiges of Helios' upper atmosphere behind, frost begins to form on her plating as the friction of the air disappears. Around her, tens of billions of stars glow and wink, accompanied by the graceful arcs of nebulas. In the distance, Helios' closest moon, framed by rings of ice, looms, surface glittering with the Quartz it is largely covered in.
Kryse sighs. This is her home. All of it. There is no one to tell her it is not. And she loves every inch of it.
