Chapter 1: The beginning..
Pain. That was the first thing he felt when he woke up. What had happened to him this time? Had it been the Bench again or maybe just the regular electric shock? He couldn't remember but judging from the small marks on his frame he came to the conclusion that it had been the electrical shock again. He vented and slowly got up from his gray, metallic berth and rubbed his chin. He started thinking about what he might have done this time but couldn't remember anything that might have gotten him into trouble. But he wouldn't ask either because that was one of the things his father did not like. And if his father didn't like it, it was not a good idea to do it because it always ended bad.
He looked around in his little room and thought about what he should do. They hadn't come to fetch him or anything which meant that he either wasn't needed or they simply wanted him out of the way for now. There was also the possiblilty that Kaon felt bad for his son but that was very unlikely. He slowly got up on his pedes with a small *Thud* and stretched out his frame. His shoulder coils sparked a little but they did so sometimes when they were powering up. He didn't like them as they both hampered his movement somewhat and they made him look stupid, at least he thought so. He would never say it out loud where anyone else could hear because then he would be in great trouble.
Skyspray went over to his little desk where he kept his experiments and such like his.... actually he didn't know what to call it. It was the body of one of his ”victims” that now had ceased functioning, at least in the way it was supposed to. He grabbed an arm and yanked it until the shoulder joint which held it in place snapped and the arm fell to the floor. Sky bent down and picked it up and put it on the desk next to the body. It was emptied of energon and that made it easier to work with. He had already finished with making the legs into a barrel, it hadn't been easy but after a week of hard studies and some practise on other stuff it had succeeded. It wasn't supposed to be something fancy, just something simple that actually would work and maybe give him some respect from the others. He had also removed the helm because that thing freaked him out when it was caved in. He reached in inside the torso and rerouted a couple of wires while pulling away the spark chamber since it wasn't needed either. The spark had long since left the body.
His room wasn't the biggest and it was fairly dark. There was only a slight glow that came from under the door and the little light that they had bothered to install above his berth. Not the best place to put it but he wouldn't complain. Otherwise it just contained his desk, two chairs a window and a locker where he kept everything that he didn't keep on his desk. Right now there wasn't anything in there but it would soon be if everything went according to plan. He had just finished rerouting the wires in the body and attached each and every part that would be used. He was mighty pround of his work and now he would test it. The gun was much larger than him since he had used a fully grown mech that had been well over 20ft while he himself was a bit over 11ft. But he would surely grow bigger and be able to use the weapon with ease as he blasted autobots into oblivion. When he grabbed the weapon he accidentally fired it towards the door just as it opened and his optics widened in fear. Now he had messed up.
Of course someone would open the door but it had been better if it hadn't been Kaon that came to fetch him for once. He didn't usually do it but when he did it was because it was very important. Kaon was knocked back a bit from the shot which left a little smoking hole in the upper right corner of his chest. He however didn't seem fazed by it but he slowly advanced on Sky's position as Skyspray backed up a little and dropped the corpse-gun. There was no doubt in what would come now..
Dad... It was only an accident.. Please... I didn't mean it.. Please don't hurt me..
Kaon continued to stride forwards until he could reach out and grab Sky by the arm before letting out a jolt of electricity. The pain quickly spread throughout Skyspray's body and he whimpered in agony. Then a thought hit him but he almost refused to even think about it. But he did anyways.
Why do I keep taking this? It was only an accident..
The thought was very convicing and although he didn't want to he clenched his servo. The electricity hadn't stopped but of course Kaon knew exactly how much to push and when to stop. But now Sky would make the decision for him. He launched his punch straight for the area he could reach which was Kaon's crotch. It worked partially. Kaon stopped his electrical shocks and grabbed his neck instead. This was new but Sky had no time to react before he saw a berth coming towards him, or vice-versa. His face hit the berth with a 'Bang' and he could feel energon running down his faceplate before he once again took the berth to the face. As it hit the third time he had gotten a big dent in his forehelm. This was something new for him and he absolutely didn't like it. Kaon turned him around so that his energon stained face was facing Kaon and his lifeless, shallow, dead, black optics looked straight into Skyspray's own grass-green optics, which were covered in his own energon.
Don't ever fight back against me again, Skyspray. It will only get worse for yourself. Now clean up yourself and meet me at the bridge.
Kaon then let go of Sky's neck and pushed him back onto his now energon stained berth. Sky himself didn't know what was the worst thing about the situation, Kaon's voice when he had spoken to him or the beating. He began to cry and Kaon stopped in the doorway and looked at him again.
Take it as a real decepticon instead of crying as a puny autobot.
I'm... Sorry...
Just clean up the mess. NOW!
Then he left the room and Skyspray was once again alone in his dark little room but now with some energon that would be a pain to clean up. Skyspray crawled off of his berth and wiped the tears off of his face. He didn't usually cry, not anymore because only cowards and autobots did so, not the mighty decepticons. He knew that the beatings he recieved only meant well, that they made him tougher and able to endure more damage but he still didn't like it. He picked up a small piece of his frame that had come off when his face and the berth had hit each other and threw it in the corner where he was sure thst nobody would look. The energon had somehow stopped leaking and he had an easier time seeing again but he didn't know why because he hadn't tended to it. What he did tend to however was the spots of now dried energon that existed on the floor, the wall next to his little berth and the berth itself. An inspection would of course be done later and then it was in his best interest to make sure that it was clean or he'd have to clean up more...
He had found a towel of some sort in his locker and swiftly cleaned up the mess before placing the towel on his desk. He didn't bother with moving the gun to its ordinary position and just left it on the floor. He glanced over his right shoulder and his chaingun moved out of the way so that he could see. Everything looked clean now so he straightened up and walked out of his room. Some vehicons were on guard outside, probably because of the incident before. He didn't think highly of vehicons, they were just standard soldiers that would never become anything, they would just die in the field. The closest one made a gesture which Sky didn't find funny at all but he would ignore it for now. He made his way towards the bridge of the ship, towards whatever was waiting for him...
