It's hard to penetrate the main parts in general, which it is made or mutated cybermetal. These areas are vital areas for both health reasons and combat reasons. Places such as the thighs, heels, and elbows are less covered or dense in metal, which makes these her weak points. However, You'll have to get past Black Sun to hit them. When encountering her the first time, you'll think she's quiet, yet resilient. These are the two most outright characters traits Black Sun possesses, which is a very relatable part of her former identity of 'Nightfall'. Apart from the two most common traits, Black Sun possesses courage and loyalty as her secondary traits. Black Sun isn't afraid to do anything outside of Decepticon protocall. But since she has habits of her former lone wolf history, she does it anyways. But the outcome is normally good, which leaves her to hardly ever get caught. Black Sun manages to set herself apart from the former SiC, Starscream. She personally despises him, since he managed to mess up everything when he's in command. Black Sun's Second secondary trait is Loyalty. Black Sun never thinks to betray the decepticons, which she does everything for the faction rather than for personal interest. Unless something makes her think otherwise, she will be, and always be, a Decepticon. Black Sun's first Thirdary trait is stubborn ness. Since it's not a primary trait, Black Sun doesn't display it to often. She has a knack with going with the flow, unless it's something she disagrees with. If it's something that she doesn't agree with, then she tends to turn a but 'difficult'. Once she turns difficult then you'll get nowhere with her. This trait normally pulls her on top of any argument, unless she's arguing with Shockwave himself. Black Sun's second thirdary trait is crafty, since she sometimes displays cunning-like thinking skills when on the battle field. Black Sun can execute smart plans by herself. It's been said she took down a Spark Eater by placing a grenade in it's half-way cut off head while it was regenerating. If she can kill a regenerating create, or at least temporarily block it's ability, then have some fun trying to fight her 1v1. Strengths: Detecting Lies: Black Sun is practically a personal lie detector. She has mastered the skill to simply stare into someone's optics and tell if they are lying or not. During interrogations, this is a very handy skill. Keep this in mind: If you lie to Black Sun, you're basically screwed. This skill has a counterpart of giving Black Sun the skill to lie very well. If caught on guard, she can lie to you without the other person knowing it. If you manage to catch her off guard, which is very rare, she may show a tiny bit of unconvincing looks. If the other person has a skill of telling these small glances, then she could be caught lying. Crafty Thinking: Black Sun has a knack of knowing how to outsmart her enemies. It is in the smartest and most sly ways possible. When not in battle, Black Sun can pull the simplest schemes to make one believe something, or even be convinced of false things. In battle, Black Sun can fool her enemies, and sometimes slip tricks mid-attacks. Parkour/Physical Agility: One of the perks of being a samarui is having near to impossible agility and parkour skills. These are normally displayed during battle or making an escape. During battle, Black Sun has the ability to perform flips and twists in mid attack, along with multiple kick/stab combos in mid jumping sprees. While in escaping cases, Black Sun can jump around and climb faster than average warriors of stealth class. With many years of the parkour experience, she could be better than some ninjas. Investigative Skills: Black Sun has very good detective skills. If your think like BBC's Sociopathic Sherlock, that's not the kind of detective I'm talking about. I'm talking about the actual trait. Black Sun can start from a simple idea and learn and research about it. This is where here her Stat of 8 comes in, which gives her the right about of intellect to think of sources. It also comes in when supporting her facts. The stat also comes in with her actual overall intellect, which is pretty high. Katana Skills: Primarily one of the most notorious skills Black Sun is known for, Black Sun can handle any form of Katana. Her choice blades however are the dual katanas and a Nodachi, which is a two handed katana with a blade twice the length. This is primarily reason why she is a Samurai classes warrior. Weaknesses: Her Past as Nightfall: Black Sun wasn't always Black Sun. A while ago, a femme named Nightfall had taken the position of temporary command. After a series of events, Shockwave made his reappearance and challenged Nightfall to a fight for leadership. Nightfall, being the stubborn and determined type, Nightall refused to willing give up her position as commander and accepted Shockwave's Challenge. During the challenge, Shockwave ripped out Nightfall's spark with his bare hands, which lead for him to win the fight. Using Nightfall's spark and processor, He had wiped Nightfall's memory and created Black Sun. Black Sun doesn't know this of her past, which she thinks she had been a hunter her entire life. Being introduced to his information might lead Black Sun on an investigative path, and eventually revolt or betray the Decepticon cause. Wouldn't you if you realized you were the decepticon's toy? Curiousity: Black Sun's vague curiosity trait gets her in trouble when she exercises it. Most people would think Black Sun would be the least likely to investigate something, which she would simply assign someone to find out for her. This is the case sometimes, but when things get personal, or if it's something she shouldn't be digging into, she'll do the research herself. Long Ranged Weapons: While behind the scope herself, she's a pretty good shot. But when fighting combat wise, Black Sun doesn't like snipers. She can dodge pretty decently, but it's the fact that she can't get in close enough range with her katanas. If you can't move your scope or rifle fast enough, prepare for a spider-monkey to attack you.. Threat of Superiority [AKA:Starscream]: This weakness is more of a distaste. Black Sun had a large hate for Starscream, only because he threatens the Superiority of herself and high command. She worries that he'll take her place upon return. n this case, this also brings a very high level of hate towards him, even though he has never met her. Broken Honour: If one is good enough at manipulating one's thoughts, manipulating Black Sun that she has no Honour makes her feel somewhat useless, which brings down her will to fight. For those of you who don't know the Bushido code, one of the seven virtues to be a Samurai is to have Honour, or worthiness within a cause or group. If Black Sun doesn't have honour, which in this case no worthiness to the Decepticons, she no longer is a Samurai. | History: Black Sun was born into a low income family with four selfish brothers and sisters. Overall, out of her family, Black Sun was the calm and selfless one of her family. For her childhood years at least. Around the age of 3, Black Sun began to grown in some sort of code manner. This was around the same time she began going to school. She came out ahead of everyone in her class, which she learned how to read and write faster than anyone. Around the age of 5, she began studying the idea of warriors. This is how she learned vaguely about the Samurai and the Bushido code. She fell in love with the ideas of having a strict code to fall under, and how breaking the code meant you were no longer what you were. When Black Sun turned 6, her parents were killed in combat during the first attack on Iacon. Leaving her and her four siblings in the world, everyone decided who would get what. For all she knew, Black Sun was the only one who had moaned her parent's death. A few months after there parent death, the family of five began turning onto each other. It wasn't anything serious, it was just a series of bickering and fighting. It wasn't until a year after there death that Ultracharger, the second eldest child, killed Whirlwind, a Black Sun's older sister. The family was then torn apart within a night, which the two leftover brothers killed each other. Black Sun ended up only being alive, which she had been blamed for their death. But during a police report, Black Sun said that they were murdered by the corrupt sickness of greed. She said the only reason she didn't loose herself to Greed was because she followed the Virtues to the Bushido Code. With the family dead, Black Sun was left with the family fortune and set off into the world by herself at the age of 8. In a small town of Crystline, located near the Sea of Rust, Black Sun sought out an old mech by the name of Toshieba to teach her how to fight. According to legend, he had been a Samurai classed vehicon during the early years of the war. Although she didn't know it, Black Sun found the headstone of the old mech's grave, and discovered that Toshieba's student- Holcruix- still lived in the low profiled town. Seeking out the mech, she asked that he'd train her. After a strong rejection from the Samurai, Black Sun stubbornly sat on the mech's front porch and waited two days. She was determined to learn the ways of the Samurai, and nothing was going to stop her. After the second day, Holcruix finally approved that Black Sun would be his student. For the next eight years, Black Sun learned the ways of the Samurai. She learned the hand to hand combat skills, how to use nearly any kind of katana, and had nearly the entire history of Cybertron's most famous Samurai memorized. There are some rumors that she has mastered the skill to control her inner chi. However, Black Sun has said that controlling your Chi is impossible, since it changes every day with fate. After she turned 17, Holcruix passed away peacefully. Leaving Black Sun alone in the world again, she decided that it was time to join the war. She wasn't all to familiar with it at the time, but there were two sides. Decepticons and Autobots. Not to long after Holcruix's demise, Decepticon Vehicons passed by the hill-based mansion in which Holcruix had formally owned, and demanded that it was decepticon property. Black Sun denied the claim onto the property, which she said she would fight to keep it. A year later, a small task force of vehicons attacked the Mansion in hopes to take it as a Decepticon fort. But Black Sun exercised her Samurai skills and killed most of the the force. The siege was then stopped, which the commander himself negotiated for a trade. Allegiance for the property. Black Sun saw the trade unfair, which she proposed that if she decided what happened to the property, plus allegiance, and then she'd give it up. The commander took the offer, which to this day the old abandoned fort is now an archive building on the dead planet. Around the end of Cybertron, Black Sun was assigned to an off-planet team to explore for energon on other planets. Adventuring on a team of 18, Black Sun ended up being the rookie of the group. However, she ended up being the most mature of them all, and smartest. Around the age of 20, the ship was ambushed and taken under seige. Entire crew, besides herself were killed. Black Sun made an escape on one of the escape pods to avoid capture, which she hit her head in the process. She didn't realize she had processor damage until she made it to earth. This is, however, a cover story. Even though Black Sun doesn't know it, she had once been designated as Nightfall, who served as temporary commander after Megatron's demise. After a small amount of time as leader, Shockwave made his reappearance and challenged Nightfall to a fight for leadership. Nightfall, who was the stubborn and determined type, Nightfall refused to willing give up her position. During the challenge, Shockwave ripped out Nightfall's Spark with his bare servos, which resulted in Nightfall's demise. Not to long after, Shockwave used her CNA and spark to recreate Nightfall into Black Sun. Nightfall was a completely different person than Black Sun, which makes her history and perspective different. It's been said that if she stayed commander, that the war would have been over. Nightfall, overall, should have been an autobot. Night was born in Praxus, being the daughter to a technology nerd and musician. Following her mothers path partially, Night wanted to learn how to play an instrument. She learned how to play a cybertronian flute, or as a windbreaker, she’d call it. She perfected the instrument at around the age 5. Her father also taught her about technology and weapons, primarily gadgets he’d made over the years. She learned how to use most of them by the age of 7. Not long later, both her mother and father were called to war and killed, which she’d ran away from home to avoid adoption. From then on, until her teenage years, Night grew up in the shadows and streets and stole, pick pocketed, and did things she regretted. Bad things. During her teenage years, she signed up to join the Decepticons for the vengeance of her parents. However that wasn’t fully the case, she couldn’t stand the Autobot’s formal ways. She looked into it, but she couldn’t stand how nice they were. That’s her primary, main reason. Night would have been an Autobot, but her parents death changed that chance. air commanders. Then Cybertron fell, and Nightfall’s adventures on earth were late. She’d arrived and worked under a commander, which she claimed some of the missions as ‘pointless‘ and ‘a waist of time‘. Night then took a break from formal missions, spending her time doing side missions and doing various recon missions on earth. But after a terrible flight accident, Night had to change back to a ground based alt mode and switched up her gadget lineup into something more ‘interesting’. She still kept her specialties, but her sense of style changed. And her snobby stuck up act. It changed, which Nightfall then perfected the art of being quiet and talking went spoken to. And learning how to be cold and hard to break. Then the war went back to Cybertron, and Nightfall took the liberty of adventuring around there rebooted planet. Studying the terrain, getting to know various points. She visited most of the abandoned cities, climbing around with her Grabbler Hook and learning new tricks with her new car mode. While exploring The Sea of Rust, Nightfall found a dead mech with two worn down, but still operational hand guns. She took then as a reminder for what she was fighting for. Her family and her home planet. After her trip to Cybertron, Nightfall returned back to Earth and became the temporary commander of the Decepticon cause. After a period of leadership, Shockwave made his return- well- you know the rest. |
Example Post:
The wind blew hard as Black Sun perched along a New York building top. It was one of the more vacant ones, which the top of the building was to high for anyone to see her. Black Sun let one of her legs hang off while she used her other one as an arm rest. Black Sun had her helm resting on her knee, which she had her attention drawn to the city scene in front of her. This metropolis reminds me of Kaon. She thought. Only less terrifying and more lively.
The idea of any Cybertronian city, better yet any location on Cybertron, reminded her about the war. It had indeed destroyed their home planet, including making their race choose sides. It made her wonder who had started the war in the first place. Whoever started it needs to die. She thought. A world like ours shouldn't have been put in jeopardy because of one man's thoughts. That's plain selfish.
Black Sun took out one of her daggers and began to fiddle with it. The blade was clean, probably she hadn't killed anyone for some unknown time. Not even Fourty-Eight hours ago, she had crash landed on earth. She still hadn't reported in yet. She didn't know where she had come from, her last known location at least. I feel like I'm forgetting something... she thought. Did I hit my head or something?
She didn't know anymore. She really didn't. She assumed she was suffering from a head injury. Maybe when she reported in she could ask Shockwave what she'd missed. If she ever did. This peace and quiet is so lovely, I wish war was like this... she thought. She sighed seconds later. No, war will never be like this. It's always loud, full of screaming and pain. Nobody's every happy.
Putting her dagger back into place, she decided to take in the view for just a bit longer before she reported in. Command may have picked up her sign by now. I wish we had three Soundwaves, only less creepy. She thought.
