After several hours of driving through a rough storm, the black rig had made his way west... his navigation read MONBETSU, HOKKAIDO. His energon supplies were currently safe, drinking another cube of medical energon supplied by Baku
Ugh, Beta Grade... can't think...
The mech grunts, he had found a private area along the coast to transform and stretch his legs.
I have to keep moving, flight tech will ensure I make it to California.

A pod came soaring down from the skies, crashing down into the water. Onlookers arrived, looking at the pod, and making assumptions about it as it sank in the water, slowly going out of sight. The hatch on the pod began to stretch outwards, with muffled thumps as Sideswipe kicked at the hatch, trying to force it open. He succeded, the hatch bursting open, and he looked upwards, barely able to see much through the murky waters. He saw boats however, and that meant civilization. Great, that meant Sideswipe couldn't be seen. He trudged to the shore that not connected by a dock, and looked around for humans, there weren't any. He got out of the water.
Ugh, that's gonna rust.
He scanned a nearby vehicle, a Lamborghini with Japanese symbols. After successfully getting the form, he sent a message on the main Autobot frequency.
::Right, this is Sideswipe. Please come to the embedded co-ordinates and give me a pickup, and soon. The place is scattered with humans and I don't want the current Prime on my aft about it.::

As Sideswipe made the call, a green swirling portal appeared before him. The portal lead to the Autobot base, High Grand.

Random swirling portal. On the other hand, scolding. Scolding, portal, scolding, portal, scolding, portal. Portal. Definitely portal. Sideswipe, cautious of the bridge's destination, drew his pistol, gripping it forward with two hands, stepping forward slowly, making sure this wasn't a trap. If it was a trap, then whoever sent the bridge was about to get one hell of a beating.

Today had been an, if anything, informative day.
Hitting the ground with a low thud, loud locking clicks ringing out as metal plating settled into place, the tarnished form of Cataclysm landed on a small hill some couple hundred or so metres away from the city. Slowly raising up from the slight three-point landing it found itself in, the dark shadow that was the Decepticon's warship loomed above in amongst the clouds. The battle aboard the craft left the Lord's soldier unharmed, not for lack of trying on His enemy's part. The aura of Decay bestowed upon His servant protected him against most harm, which had proven useful to its survival over the many thousands of years. Today was no exception.
Striding forward with heavy thuds following each step, the green grass beneath its pedals turned grey upon contact, an unfortunate side-effect of the gift, Cataclysm settled those black optics of its on the city ahead. It was small, insignificant and purposeless, yet perhaps it could prove useful in the battles to come. But not right now. The End's presence on this world was still small, it simply didn't have the resources to do anything worthwhile at the moment. But that was about to change....
Lifting a clawed servo up to the side of its helm, Cataclysm pressed two dulled digits up against the comm-link present there. The device beep into life, eager to serve its master without delay. Clearing its throat with a horrid tear of something within, The End spoke in an unsettlingly clear voice; containing a briefest amount of fear.
This is Autobot Iron-Will, requesting any Autobots present to pick me up at my current coordinates. I do not appear to under enemy attack....
As the creature spoke, its form began to... Change. Like it was going to transform, its frame began cracking apart and various sections sucked into themselves; jagged spikes laid down on their sides or pulled outright into the body. After most of the edge was taken away from Cataclysm's body, its colour too changed. Turning a far brighter white, with hits of red, blue and black seeminly flowing out of the cracks onto certain sections of the armour. The former Cybertronian had disappeared, replaced with the young, bright and bouncing form of your typical Autobot soldier, adorned with symbol happily plastered on his chest plate.

An ground bridge opened a kilometre away. This gave Taurokhun a small window of opportunity to observe the target before engaging.

A mere few moments after Iron-Will sent the open comm, a very feint, but still recognizable, sound reached his audials. Turning on a heel towards the object of the sound, the Autobot prepared to take a step forward and transform: the calm vortex of green far further away from him than he would have expected, surprising. However, it seemed a blessing in disguise that the Groundbridge was so far away, as it gave him the time to inspect the group that came through from the other side. The mech's soft features turned from practiced worry to anger, as the dark forms of Decepticons met his gaze. He had hoped the Autobots would have gotten here first, but it was only logical that the fools masquerading as "Master of Deception" would arrive first, their warship had just flown overhead... Letting out a low growl as he tossed about two choices in his head, the panels lining the young mech's body began to shift once more, the colour already beginning to die at the edges.
It would appear this plan would have to wait for another time....
But, as luck would have it, the Autobots were on their game today.
Besides, it was Shift's duty to serve the Autobot cause. Therefore, the young technopath programs another Groundbridge pathway from the mech's location within Japan. A flash of green appeared next to Iron-Will, the vortex catching him slightly off guard as the colour returned to his body, plates realigning, his features curling into a smile. Due to the Autobots having a far more detailed map of the Earth, they were patrolling it constantly after all, their Ground Bridge was far closer; a mere few feet away. Casting one side-long look at the Decepticons, Iron-Will lifted a servo and waved at the trio, before bolting into the Ground Bridge. Its swirling mass disappearing with a pop of reality knitting back together, leaving the 'Cons Autobotless.

It didn't all happen at the same time. The message appeared first in one part of the planet and then spread out, as time progressed. It was almost like a bizzare re-enactment of the new year's countdown, where area by area would enter into the new year. Except it did not start at midnight. It started at the time of day when most people were at home,it interrupted the evening news, the best time slot. And it wasn't a count down to a celebration, it wasn't a countdown at all. It just began, transmitted and ended. The package appeared on the servers of the tv news houses. When they began to transmit it would hijack the frequency and it would continue to do so untill the whole transmission was complete. If the technitians would have tried to shut it down, it would either block their attempts or skip to the next server and just continue. Once all its content was shown, everything would return to normal. Other channels such as those that only showed documentaries or movies or even the somewhat more questionable content would loose their frequency (their signal 'hijacked') for the duration of that transmission ensuring that even those who had been disinterested in watching the news, would not miss out on that content. The transmissions for these could be sourced either to the TV news giants or to different random locations in that same country. It was all automated while it made it quite impossible to trace it to its source.
The message began with : Decepticons? Who are they? Each of the transmissions lasted the same amount of time and each was translated to the language of the country to which it had been transmitted to. In this case it was Japanese as it transmitted all over Japan. In some cases it would translate into more than one language for countries such as Belgium or Switzerland. It had subtitles too, so that those who may not have been able to hear, could watch, and of course the spoken part, so that those who could not see could hear. The voice must have been altered as it sounded even more 'robotic' than usual. It did not say much and only explained parts that needed explaining.
The first message was followed by clips of a foreign planet, Cybertron, as it was explained. It showed reports of attacks by this new faction, the decepticons. Industrial sectors were sabotaged, corporate sectors were poisoned, bombswere detonated throughout Kaon, various space ports of Kaon were blown up. There was a clip of Megatron, the Decepticon leader as he was subtitled, while he spoke: "Show no mercy. Everything, all of this, burns. Wake up Cybertron. Your era is ending." Another clip of civilan ships being fired at and shot down was then shown still in relation to the first battle of Kaon. Then more fighting ensued. The battles that followed the destruction of that city and involved other cities. It was a collage of events, each showing the crimes committed by the Decepticons upon the civilians, some showing damage sustained by those unfortunate enough to have been caught by that faction. Even for humans it would be clear that they were subjected to torture and that parts were missing that should have been there. Greasly sights really. The autobot signs were clearly visible on the suffering. There were also a few clips of Autobots trying to defend and protect those less able to do so themselves. And another mention of a virus that they had designed as a part of the biologicalwarfare that the Decepticons developed and used against the opposing side and its aftermarth. The final clip was of the event that happened on Earth when the Nemesis crashed. The big explosion which destroyed a big portion of the Decepticon side and and more importantly, of the Autobot side. It was told that this explosion was caused by the Decepticons. The watcher could decide what to make of it.
Whoever had made the collage must have taken part there or had access at least to some who did and were willing to share what they saw. The camera zoomed out on Skyspray Prime trying to form a shield for his troops before whoever had stored this data was being thrown through the air thanks to the blast itself. Another angle was shown, perhaps the information stored in the helm of one of the Autodrone survivors. A view of the destruction caused by the Decepticons upon their own was the last thing shown before the last message appeared on the screen.
This is the real face of those you wish to trust, was said and then the transmission ended. There was a second media where the message was altered to suit it. This was the radio. Since a video was impossible here, the message simply contained clips of the different commands that the Decepticons – who were introduced by name – gave, that lead to massacres or crimes that the civilians had to suffer, some clips were even of the events on earth. These messages were intended for those who may have been in their cars on the way home or who worked as truckers or similar, pretty much those who were at work or on the road.
Sometime later the content that had been sent via tv news appeared on one of the most popular video sharing sites as well giving whoever so wished the choice to pass it on, it appeared among the top suggested clips to see and share as well, of course.

It had been... A while, to say the least. Months, perhaps even a year, had gone by at this point.
Seasons had gone by without a care, creatures had withered and dead while new life sprang into being all around. It was truly as if the existence of the being who stood still did not matter. Truth be told it really didn't. That pillar of rusted, tarnished metal had been standing there, staring at nothing, for oh so very long. Nature itself seemed to be attempting to grab at it, moss digging its little roots as deeply into the metal as they could. Small animals had long since used its body as a nesting ground, using the cracks and dents in the armour plating for little more than hiding places for their young. Time moved on, forgetting about the being who once strove for so much!... Now little more than another tree in the forest.
But time, life itself really, was unpredictable. It seemed its time had come once more.
Within the quiet clearing, where rusted steel and destroyed devices were strewn about; their purpose forgotten, a feint hum was heard but only for a second. All at once, the forest around the figure silenced as a hundred different creatures prepared to bolt from the disturbance. Nothing was heard again for a time, the gentle tweeting and low sounds of animals soon returning... Hum. Again, the forest silenced. As if anticipating the coming noise, they waited. They waited longer than last time, not so eager to return to their simple lives. Hum. They did not know how to react! A strange noise was beginning to sound out from the husk of broken metal and exposed tubing. Hum!. Birds, nesting upon the shoulders of the once mighty construct, took to the wing; their survival instincts vastly out weighing their curiousity.
Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank....
A loud, spine shivering noise echoed out into the forest. Small creatures ran for their lives, terrified by the out of place sound. Larger animals, preoccupied with eating or reproducing, did not care. They soon would.
Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunk.....
Another drawn out sound, this one accompanied by a sudden movement from the pillar. The metal man, who had laid dormant for longer than most could remember, bent back. Angling its scarred helm back, those vacant eyes of its stared into the blue sky above; as if searching for something. A second later and it bent forward again, a loud crack of nests and other debris shattering ringing out with the motion. The being brought its gaze low, towards the ragged hand which lifted to met it. Long dried energon coated the bladed fingers, felt behind from a battle it could no longer remember. Slowly rolling its rusted claws into a fist, the metal strained from the pressure as all the anger and rage from a life time of suffering collected in its palm.
"Rrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!!"
Surging out, Cataclysm threw its head back and roared into the sky, the air around him growing stale and cold as its full power was unleashed for the first time in ages! The life upon its frame withered and died, burnt off by an invisible flame. The fleeing creatures, who had only just now realised the danger they were in, dropped dead within seconds; they bodies already decaying and turning to dark rot.
Crouching low to the ground, a bladed hand clutching the dying soil beneath its frame, The End launched into the air. Shattering the thick canopy with a spray of wood, leaves and dead life, the once solider, now tarnished, violently shifted forms. Transforming into its aerial mode, a long, ancient design, the being activated its darkened engines and soared off into the sky.
It had no purpose now, no goal. Nothing was attainable anymore. There was only one, simple object to its life.
Death.
