Traitor and former Fleet Commander
Gender: Mech

Home Planet: Cybertron
Home City State: Sea of Rust
Faction: Decepticon
Rank: N/A right now

Armor: Blackgate's armor is rather robust. His bulkiness however, is one of his most important features. The heavy armor can take multiple hits from rifles and other small-arms fire, and even survive hits from things like tanks or cannons.
Armor Description: His armor has four layers. The top layer is his vehicle mode kibble which helps protect against most attacks in both modes. The second layer are the silver bits you see. They can defend against small arms fire and melee weapons. The third layer of armor is thin and protects from things like pistol fire after the other layers have been blown off or melted. The fourth layer is extremely thin and is only there to act as a covering for his internal wiring. It can defend against nothing.
Armor Perks:
x2 resistance- His armor can withstand a lot of hits
Adrenaline Boost: Blackgate has wired into his armor specialized energon that injects into him in a situation where he may be killed. This specialized energon overrides his internal security firewalls and sends him into a berserker type mind set. It's good for last stands.

Personality
Blackgate can be summed up in one word: Greedy. He is probably one of the most power hungry decepticons. He will kill whoever gets in his way to be at the top, the head honcho. However, he has a respect for someone in power as well. He knows the struggle it takes to get into power. That doesn't mean he doesn't still hate their guts. This doesn't make him an unlikable mech though. He knows that power cannot only be obtained by slaughter. If you charm the right people, you can get the right friends. Over the years he has built up a facade of himself, making friends to get into positions of power before stabbing them in the back. Of course, not that others know of this shadowplay.
History: Blackgate was born to a tribe of nomads in the Sea of Rust. As a mechling, he wandered through the ancient temples buried underneath the sands and marveled at the statues of the Primes. He longed to be like them, beings of absolute power. As a "teen" he worked in the Hydrax Spaceport, a prominent spaceport in an oasis in the Sea. He repaired and cleaned ships. This gave him an intimate knowledge of them. After passing into full mech-hood, he journeyed out into Cybertron, finding a job in the Iacon spaceport. Soon, he became the supervisor there, then finally he became a high up manager of the docking bays. The next step up, General Manager of the Spaceport, was set to be his. However, the mech in that position currently feared for his job and framed Blackgate for a crime he did not commit. He was taken to the Tarn Prison Complex after an unfair trial with a paid-off jury and judge. Inside of the prison, he heard about Orion Pax and Megatron's campaign against the Senate. Soon after, the war started. Blackgate decided while sitting in his cell to escape and join the autobots, who he felt were more just than the decepticons. His opportunity happened sooner than expected. The autobot sub-group, The Wreckers, attacked the prison and freed potential autobot recruits. He gladly joined the ranks of the bots and soon became a Wrecker dropship pilot. After many successful battles, he had worked his way up to Captain. However, his lust for power came back stronger than ever, and he tried to stage a coup against the Wrecker commander, Ultra Magnus. This failed and he fled the autobots.
Soon after, he met up with the decepticons and gave out info on the Wreckers. The cons used this info to destroy Blackgate's former squad and another Wrecker squad. He was promoted due to this and was given the rank of Sergeant. Later in the war he joined the fledgling Decepticon Navy and was sent out with a fleet of warships after the Exodus to find remaining autobot settlements. While traveling the galaxy, he used shadowplay to manipulate his way to the top, becoming the Fleet Commander. After learning intel on an autobot base on Earth, he prepared to send his war fleet to destroy it. However, due to a timely intervention of a blue bounty hunter and his crew, his fleet was destroyed and Blackgate was left the only survivor. He was heavily damaged and only managed to survive by clinging onto a piece of wreckage and floating to the nearest spaceport. Here, he slaughtered the crew of a transport shuttle and set course for Earth. Now, the autobots on Earth should beware, for the wrath of Blackgate approaches.
Family: Father: Wanderer (Alive in the Sea of Rust)
Mother: Searcher (Alive in the Sea of Rust)
Strengths: He is a powerful opponent, his deadly accuracy with his electro bolter and high powered rail gun make him a dangerous foe. Not to mention his chaingun and his axes. His brute strength helps him in melee combat and his rail gun packs a powerful punch. He is also smart and manipulative, knowing how to work things to his benefit. His flight ability also gives him an advantage over ground based opponents.
Weaknesses: Blackgate is not exactly a fast mech. Sure, he can move, but a scout class could run circles around him. He won't be able to hit a speedy opponent very well. He can also sometimes talk himself into a circle, which can lead to some interesting truths being revealed that could destroy his career, meaning if one could find out about these truths, they could blackmail him easily. While his "berserker" mode is a combat boost, it's a tactical loss. He loses almost all sentient thought which means he could be outdone in this mode if his opponent is smart about his/her moves.
