Personality Pyro is an arsonist, plain and simple. He is extremely arrogant, has a superiority complex and worships the eternal flame. Dawning a fanatical outlook on the destruction of all life, he believes nothing truly dies until it turns to ash. Psychotic and uncaring to the pain he puts his victims through, he will stop at nothing to ensure his enemies feel the burn of his fire. Charging head long into battle without a care in the world for the bullets or missiles striking his frame, he was march his aft all the way up to their encampment and just let loose, turning the area into a picture perfect representation of Hell. Due to his odd tactics, he will either leave a battlefield with it in flames or be reduced to a mangled mess of his former self, still trying to roast everything in site. Out of combat he does what he can to still himself from burning all those around him, but he only just manages. Short tempered and eager to get into a fight, he will only take one or two insults before attacking, which has resulted in him never gaining a rank in the army...
History: The first time he saw the flickering flame was when he was a mere sparkling, growing up in the care home provided to the familyless mechs and femmes of Crystal City. He was playing with his friends, running through the halls when he spotted something, a box of matches (the cyber version). Picking them up and taking one out, he remembered back to when he saw one of the adults lighting them and so he copied. The orange flame he was greeted with sparked something other than the mysterious fire that burned down most of the street later that day, but that was for a later date. Over the coming years, he was taken in by a number of families who just couldn't bare to see a child in need. All their homes, processions and lively hoods were taken by the fire, all before their lives were also consumed by the growing fire... It took the law enforcement five house burnings to finally conclude that it was the sparkling who was causing them, despite the many claims that a mere sparkling could have killed and burned so many, but he was taken away nevertheless.
By the time he was 15, he'd managed to burn down two of the prisons he'd been sent to, killing many of the inmates and guards stationed at them. So he was transferred to the toughest prison of them all, Darkmount. There he endured endless beatings at both the hands of the guards and inmates, his hands placed in steel boxes to ensure he didn't touch anything flammable. There he spent his days until Megatron's uprising finally freed him, giving him a chance to burn in the name of something higher. Why, him himself sparked the flames that threatened to engulf the Lacon Hall of Records after the Decepticons raided it, not that he cared for the information gathered there. When the Autobots escaped Earth in their great ship, The Ark, Pyro was one of the first volunteers to hop into a long distance pod and follow after them.
Now's landed on Earth, a planet filled to the brim with carbon based lifeforms...
Family:
Many over the course of his childhood, all that picture perfect couple who'd be killed over in order to be cared for by them. But he didn't care who they were or what they were, only what colour flames they produced when they burned.
Strengths: Pain has been beaten out of him, meaning he feels nothing but the dull ache of something that once was. Meaning he will happily stand in the way of shells and take them at face value, just so he can close the distance between you and his flame throwers... He can dodge clumsily, when he's faced with something that will kill him should it hit, but that rarely happens and while he absolutely hates to use his pulse cannon, he is a pretty good shot with it. His fuel is fairly well protected, hidden beneath stacked shoulder plates that stop the precious blend of gasses from being hit.
Weaknesses: His biggest flaw is the fact the tubing running from his tanks to his flame throwers are exposed, and quite openly too boot. Despite the cut resistance covering he's placed over them, if you're aiming for them with anything stronger than a pee shooter you're gonna rupture them, cutting off his main way of attacking and forcing him to use his back up. When he's forced to do that, disengage his babies and take out the pulse cannon, he snaps. Turning into a screaming, rage filled animal, he cares even less than before about what he hits, only that he kills whatever stopped the flow of his flames. During this state, he is much easier to deal with, as he's either running at you with claws extended or firing wildly in your general direction, even though he's practised almost daily with the weapon...
