In the lower levels of the Darkmount fortress, the prison complex is located. It consists of three floors with cells placed in a circular pattern, all facing the middle. There is a walkway along the outside of each floor, and an elevator in the middle, allowing for travel between the floors. To reach the main building however, you need to take a pathway from the bottom floor, as prisoners aren't kept in the main building due to the risk of escape. The cells were protected by three levels of defenses, a blast door, a laser grid and automated gun turrets, in case the prisoners would get out of their cells. It is a heavily patrolled area, making escapes rather difficult unless you have some sort of cloaking system.

The vehicons entered the complex, taking the elevator to the top floor. Between them, they were pushing a berth containing the captive, Diamond. They soon enough reached her cell and pushed her inside, releasing her from her restraints but kicking her in so that she wouldn't get up and attack them. They had already removed all her weapons so there was no need for her to try anything with that. As they left, the laser grid activated, preventing anyone from entering or exiting until it was deactivated, and then the blast doors shut, keeping her confined in there. There were however security cameras that could monitor her.

Skywarp slowly materialized onto the scene. He was always one for show. With glaring optics, the seeker watched Diamond. A bit contempt with the situation, he didn’t feel he has to be here. But he was assigned to the job, and he’d do it to the best of his ability. Something he could do while he watched was think up a reason to tell Tarn why he wasn’t in the fight.

The sleek seekeress simply sat in the middle of her cell, resting her helm on her knees with her optics closed. The femme let her wings droop and scrape against the floor as she took in calm intakes, but her overall demeanor resembled that of a caged bird, something any aerial Cybertronian would find as troublesome if they were in it. But she didn't complain. At least they weren't torturing her, yet.
She could feel the presence of the mech in the room, her static field picking up on it. Her servos sparked with blue electrical energy before she slowly opened her optics to stare back at the mech, not even bothering to raise her helm. Diamond simply acknowledged his presence, before closing her ruby gaze once more, waiting patiently for him to speak if he would.

Skywarp took note of her gaze. As a seeker himself, he knew what it felt like to be caged as one. He felt some sympathy, but not enough to release her. Best way to do this without hurting her would be the mental route. Way back when, Skywarp wasn’t too good at that route. Not now. Now he was a very fine user of it. He didn’t dare speak a word. She’d know soon enough that she played by his terms now.

Her levels of anxiety steadily rose the longer he lingered in her presence. Diamond flicked her wings and stretched them out in a frill-like matter that suggested hostility. "Like hell I'll talk." She finally hissed, keeping her face down on her knees, before looking up at him with daggers for optics, her optic ridges gathering like storm clouds as she kept her optics on his this time. Her wings stopped rattling like a snake, before slowly tucking themselves down behind her back once again.

Skywarp slowly stepped to the front of her cell, his steps making loud and distinct sounds in the otherwise quiet room. His wings were out and upwards, showing his pride in the fact that he had the power here. She’d spoken first. Good. She was anxious. Good. She was hostile. Good.
You already have. All I did was stand around for a few seconds and you opened your mouth.

The femme audibly growled through her chest, fangs glinting in the light of the lasers. Her audios twitched in agitation upon processing that she had fallen right into his servos. "Try all you want, but any information about the Autobots will have to amputated from my mind." She was terribly straight forward about it, before seemingly shutting herself off from him again, curling back into a pathetic ball in the middle of her cell floor. She needed to protect her secrets. She needed to protect Aqua. What a stupid decision she had made... what was she thinking?

With a smirk, the seeker disappeared, and Diamond would feel a hand grip her helm. Tightly.
Don’t tell me you honestly think that isn’t an option? If I had the tools I’d gladly carve open your pretty little head for the information.
He was taunting her now. She was unarmed, against a formidable hand-to-hand combatant. Unless Skywarp was severely underestimating his opponent, there was little she could do. Worse yet, she was on the ground, her options were limited. Currently, he quite literally had her in the palm of his hands. That was the exact point he was trying to make. The feeling stopped abruptly. He was back out of the cell, smirking at her.
Of course, I could always try my hand. Maybe I’d be better at it than I think. Thunder’s told me a bit about what clatters around up there. I still remember some.
The pompous venom was clear in his words. He knew he was in power, and he loved it. He didn’t want to let that feeling go, and he would draw out the feeling for as long as possible. Diamond could very easily see that.

She kept her generator at boy, more or less forcing it at this point. She didn’t want to show them she wasn’t helpless. Not yet. She had enough power left to hurt this mech, but for now she played by his rules. The femme smirked a little though, realizing that the cons were dumb enough not to take in that famous factor of hers. No collar, no cuffs, no wing clamps, nothing would be holding her back from claws blazing with the literal and quite electrifying vengance of a mother who lost her sparkmate and might just lose her son.
”The mistake your making is rather amusing. She grinned, ”Please, keep acting tough. I’m having fun with it. It’s rather... cute, so to say, that the lesser of a trine who hid behind his brothers now believes he has the ball bearings to scare a Prime’s mate. Adorable.” The femme grunted as she stood tall, claws and wings twitching.

Skywarp’s ego was growing exponentially. She truly was playing right into his hands. He’d been waiting for her to bring up her late mate. He knew good and well he was strong enough to take her down, especially if she was unarmed.
Yeah, a Prime’s mate. How’s he these days? You know, I saw a vehicon carting around a piece of warped metal. When I questioned him about it, you know what he said? It was your sweetie’s back. A low class grunt tore him apart. He was weak. And you’re supposed to be stronger?
Skywarp’s taunts knew no end. Diamond’s mention of his comrades seemed to have the opposite effect she desired. His ego looked boosted.
The trinity? Surely you don’t mean the coward and the weakling? They’ve disappeared like traitors.
Skywarp leaned down, his face just barely shy of the gate.
You know, you’d be a fine mate for me if you weren’t so weak. You’ve got fine wings, but they’re a bit too much for show. No-one likes a kite.
A classic insult to seekers. The entire exchange must have been that much more impactful since Skywarp was a seeker himself. Skywarp walked back to the wall, grabbing a sheet of twisted metal he’d brought when he warped. He tossed it, it landing just in front of the gate. It wasn’t Sky’s armor, but it was a perfect replica, crafted by the vehicon who tore off the original.
This look familiar, dirtkisser?

He wanted her angry, to weaken her mental defenses. Diamond held her ground, looking down at him from her height, his words stabbing into her spark like knives. She spat at him, turning her back and moving to the other side of her cell, crossing her arms. "You underestimate me, short stack. Why do you think I've been put in such high security. I'm still dangerous. Maybe not so much so to your leader, but I dare you, lay a servo on me again and you'll find it apparent. Besides, a seeker with wings as bland as yours, I'm simply making up for what you lack in appearance merely by being in the room."
When he brought up her recent mate, she boiled, but remained composed for now. She knew she had to move on. But it was so difficult. Looking down at the piece he threw at her feet, the femme cautiously approached it, but didn't pick it up. "Heh. It'll take more than that." She gave him a toothy grin, before kicking the piece with full power in his direction through the bars before retreating back to her corner.

Skywarp chuckled. She was contradicting herself here. As the slab of metal came flying at him, Skywarp raised his arm, and a flash of light and intense heat shortly followed. And then, the slab was gone. To Diamond, that was the last remaining piece of her mate.
Oops. Did I do that? Heh. You’re panicking, aren’t you? First I’m the lesser of a trine, as you said, and now I’m high security? Or maybe, you’ve come to your senses. The reason you’re here isn’t because you’re dangerous. Trust me, I’m not the go-to interrogator. Executioner, sure, but not interrogator.
Skywarp was having a bit too much fun with this. She was too predictable in her retorts, in her reactions. If she kept it up, Skywarp would have more than enough fuel to truly break her. At least, that was the idea.
The reason you’re here is because your name carries weight. Imagine your pals hearing you’re locked up in some tough prison being tortured. How demoralizing would that be? You’re letting them down, just like your mate did. And that’s really all you got to say in defense of him? Well, weak attracts weak I guess.
Skywarp hadn’t even asked her for information yet, and she’d taken the bait and opened up enough to talk this much.

The femme was frustrated, frustrated at the fact that if she used her last remaining weapon she'd be killed, and he called her weak. She was more than frustrated, actually, she was angry, angry that she let herself be in this situation. She didn't speak anymore and simply kept quiet. The femme then snarled at her cage and swiped her claws at the lasers, feeling the burn that they gave her. The femme didn't pay any attention to the pain, or the hissing of her melting metal returning to normal temperature. She simply hung her helm. Had he already broken her? No. She told herself.
"I don't care. I don't care what anyone thinks of me, especially you." She said softly, raising her helm to look at the wall. "Do what you want." She hissed, pacing back to her spot in the middle of the cell, and sitting down in the same position she was in before, this time her back facing the mech.

"But.. I.. Do.." A voice came from a bit away, belonging to a taller mech, shrouded in darkness. He wasn't invisible, far from it. He was very visible, and all the vehicons gave him a salute and moved out of the way as he passed. Tarn, the decepticon leader, had arrived on the scene. Just as menacing as ever, although, one thing was different. He wasn't wearing his mask, which one could see if they took the moment to look. But what was there in its place was perhaps even more frightening. It wasn't a face in the normal sense, it was more like a skeleton, if the skeleton had also been mangled in the process. He had a mouth, which was basically a gaping hole with some few dents where the few remaining dentas were attached. The nosepiece was completely gone, a hole in its place. Cheeks were pretty much gone too, allowing for sight through his helm, to the wiring in the back. Lastly, it was his optics. Only one of them were still functional, the other one hanging loosely out from its socket, dangling from some wires. The one remaining optic kept a steady focus on the two others, Skywarp and Diamond, the singular green light emitting from it, rather powerful for the condition of the features it shone from.
He approached them and with him, he had a special little friend, known as The Pet. He had fetched his beloved pet earlier, since he knew that Pet might be needed in order to either escalate, or calm the situation, depending on the turn things took. "I.. Heard.. Enough.." He said, as he now was up behind Skywarp, pausing for a slight moment. He contemplated his next move, if it was worth it or not. Ultimately, he decided that it was, striking out towards Skywarp with his open hand, aiming to simply grab him by the head, sending a wave of pain through the seeker, before shoving him into the nearby wall. "Silent.." He growled towards the seeker, letting him go and just dropping him there. He had made his statement, nothing more was required. He did not want to really hurt him, more scare him back in line. His optic then focused back on the autobot femme, trapped in the cell. Part of him felt bad for her, and part of him didn't. She had put herself here, it was her own fault. "Very.. Persistent.., Diamond..."

The three seekers, Skywarp, Starscream, and Thundercracker each had a very specific kind of obedience. Starscream was cowardly, with obedience to power in a pathetic way. Thundercracker had obedience to his ideals, and thus followed those who might adhere to them. But Skywarp, Skywarp had true loyalty. Not out of fear for his superiors like Starscream, but a genuine belief in the cause and respect for his leaders. It was admirable, and made it so that the seeker could always be trusted. When he was struck, Skywarp did not cower like Starscream or growl like Thundercracker, instead he picked himself up and kneeled, placing his fist square on the ground and bowing his head.
Lord Tarn, my humblest and sincerest apologies for my failure. I respectfully request details of my shortcomings so that I don’t do so again, sir.
The apology was not out of fear, Skywarp’s body language showed that he wasn’t scared of Tarn, not out of confidence but rather because he trusted him. It was a genuine apology, not groveling or brown nosing, just loyalty. The Pet’s reaction solidified the idea. The Pet hated cowards. He could smell their fear, and it disgusted him. Not to mention it had been trained to growl at the sense of it to serve in interrogations. The Pet was calm, sniffing at Diamond through the bars. He seemed pleased to see her.

Diamond was slightly startled by the odd voice, and took a quick glance to see the giant mech she hated looming in the darkness. She moved over to the farthest corner of her cell, crouched in a pouncing position. She wasn't afraid, but she had to control her anger, and if she launched at him now the lasers of the cell would kill her. The presence of The Pet was minuscule to her care, as her optics kept locked on Tarn.
There was an audible growl in her chest as she watched him, wings flared out to make her look bigger, and audials perked in alert. She wasn't taking any chances with this mech.

Tarn turned his helm to look at the apologetic Skywarp, who seemed to actually not be a spineless coward as the rest of the seekers, although he was a bit dimwitted at times. Not everyone could be gifted with everything, that was the simple rule of this universe. Tarn's facial features did not help the case either, as it more or less looked like a demonic skeleton, with all the broken parts. He growled a little, a terrifying sound as if it came from a pit far, far away. "Petrex.. Interrogation.. Failure.. Too.. Aggressive..." The decepticon leader said shortly. He didn't like speaking without his mask, and clearly everyone who heard him would understand why. It did not sound healthy, or that pleasant either for that matter. He could hear the sounds of the giant approaching, and could easily spot Nightlock as he came walking. Seemed like they had gotten quite the gathering here. Very interesting, not what he had planned, but he could work with that. If they did not like what he was going to happen, he could simply have them executed later. Not too much of a hassle, although he would like to avoid it. Pointless deaths served no place withing the Cause, although sometimes, certain rules had to be bent in order for the greater good. Not all orders parts were equally important.
He crouched down to Pet's level, scratching him slightly between his ears. "He.. Likes.. You... Wanted.. You.. Meet.. Sooner... Good.. With.. Sparklings..." He kept scratching Pet a tiny bit more, before standing up straight again. Keeping his sword hanging straight down, he didn't look too threatening, apart from his face. He motioned for pet to move back a bit, as to not touch the grids and hurt himself. He didn't want him hurt now, in such a way that could have easily been prevented. His optic was focused on the femme however, and hopefully this treatment would work better on her than the previous one. And even then, he had more tricks up his sleeve, other than the grass-green optic that blankly stared at her, void of any detectable emotion.

Skywarp kept his position, and spoke again.
Sir, my sincerest apologies. I’ll never miss another combat assignment again, and I’ll keep my aggression in mind next time.
As Nightlock entered, Skywarp broke his kneel, moving quickly to stand in front of the scientist. Skywarp was dim, so he tried his best to adhere to rules and procedures only, since his judgement was less than trustworthy on average. The Pet in the meantime, did as told, moving back. He turned his horrifying visage to Nightlock, curious as a result of the commotion.
Hey! This is a high security area, what are you doing here?!
Skywarp seemed annoyed, but didn’t seem to throw him out anytime soon unless Tarn told him to. The Skywarp that Diamond had the displeasure of meeting seemed very different from the one in front of her now. The observation further showed Skywarp’s skill in manipulation, but it also showed his shortsightedness in breaking it in front of the subject of said interrogation.
