A seemingly normal door- that opens up to a seemingly normal room- but a seemingly odd back wall opens up revealing a massive- massive door. Inside that door? A very large room- built to house a rowdy bunch. Walking into the room, center floor was a round table lined with 20 chairs for close conversation of big groups. Want even closer conversation? Seated booths lined the walls on either side with canisters of Engex tucked away in the sides- creating a moody lighting. To the back was the bar where normally a stocky and stout little red and white mech stood ready to attend any needs- if he's not already swerving around the other 'bots passing out drinks. Now this wasn't the best looking condition things could be in- but honestly nothing looked good when you first return. There wasn't much for Engex or variety- but they did what they could with what they had. Only rules that applied happened to be about leaving any weapons in the small room at the door.
Have fun!!!

At the moment the bar was pretty darn empty- literally only Swerve sat at the round table with a pile of different metals that some gracious 'bot had dumped on him to go through to identify and give a date before they went ahead and smelted the pieces down for whatever they needed to be used for. He didn't mind, I mean, it's literally his job. His Real job. A half-emptied glass sat besides him as he turned the chunks of metal over and engraved the underside of them, tossing them into organized piles that were slowly accumulating. There was a lot of work that needed to be done since coming home. Normally he would seem the least qualified to be doing anything- some assumed he was really only there to annoy everyone. Maybe. But like everyone else- he was important. Taking a break from the seventeen hours of doing this- Swerve groaned and finally stood up from the stool, looking around the bar for a moment. It needed so much work... He wished he could just put his time into making it, not such a trash bucket. Time he didn't have.
He turned and faced the door when he could of have sworn he heard someone enter the small room. Odd. He only knew like- three trusted 'bots that would be coming around while he was closed.

All the Autobot base, alarms started blaring. Red lights came within every room along with an automated message from Petrex.
"ATTENTION ALL AUTOBOTS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! PETREX IS UNDER ATTACK AND NEEDS ALL THE HELP IT CAN GET! ATTENTION ALL AUTOBOTS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Veeron led the smaller mechling down the halls, ducking his helm each time he passed someone, as they went through the test of the quarters. When the opal frame finally came to a stop he was outside a larger set of doors labeled "shh." Still holding Aquas servo, he lifted his hand and pounded on the door.
Silence.
"Swerve- I know you're in there!"
Another moment of silence before the doors parted and they were granted access.

The young sparkling took in everything with big optics. He hadn't been in these parts before, so it was an exciting trip, it really was! He stopped when the older one did, and greeted everyone he saw with a smile. He was just happy to see what else existed around him. Once they got to Swerve's, he tilted his helm as he looked into the darkness. It seemed rather odd, mommy had never told him about something like this before. His small turbines spun around, clearly nervous about this new scenario. He wasn't too fond of the dark either, so that didn't help. He clutched Veerons servo tightly.
Grandpa, what is this place? Can you get energon here?

The first quarters that you had to cross before you got to the entrance where dark as night. Veeron didnt seem phased by any of this however, he stepped inside and led Aqua along- lighting the short path using the top of his helm that brought them to a second set of, much larger doors. Those opened as well, and the pair was flooded with light from the bar inside. He again brought Aqua along with a reassuring pulse from his servo.
Once inside, the doors closed behind them. He loosened his grip on the sparklings servo in case he wanted to explore, but in the meantime his feet walked in the direction to the car in the back where a familiar short and stout figure was leaning on the counter, washing out a cup with a rag.
"I figured you'd stay back and hide... Aqua here needs something to refuel and fill the tanks on."

He stayed close to Veeron, using him for comfort in the darkness. Why did things have to be dark? It wasn't night now, was it? He hadn't remembered mommy telling him to sleep, so then it couldn't be night time yet. Although he quickly realized, when the doors opened and the lights came on, that it wasn't any danger. It was so bring in there, he had to cover his optics for a moment. He looked up at Veeron, a bit unsure what to do, but as his hand was let go, he decided to take a look around. He carefully walked around, trying to look at as much as possible. There were things there he had never seen before, and he took extra time to observe them. Soon he had forgotten all about why they had gotten there, he was too busy with exploring the bar.

Well it was a whole lot of hiding and pretending he didn't exist as he was briefly told about the war raging on their home turf-- the o ly thing bringing him out of it was the intruder that made his way to the very empty bar. Swerve quickly hopped up from behind the counter and pretended to be in the middle of cleaning out a glass with a rag when a much larger opal white mech came in like n ugly storm. However when he greeted the old warrior-- he was quickly sidetracked by the short thing that came waddling in as well.
"Whoa whoa---- okay I guess bringing that lite shortfry in over there is fine." Well, not that he was any taller. "Seeing as no one's been in since this chaos all started... snacks for the little tike??"
The animated minibot retrieved a rather kind supply of energon chips in a sealed bag.
"So-- Ron, who's the kid?" Swerve winked at the older mech, but lacked the energy go properly tease him.
He already poured a rather large mug for the big guy.

Veeron grunted and took the bag and a small box with a little straw poked through it for the sparkling.
“Aqua- come here and get your things.” things he held them lower for the sparkling to reach.
“He’s Sky and Diamond’s construction.” Ron replied rather flatly. “obviously not mine. Quit with that already.”
Once Aqua took his stuff, Veeron reached to the canister glass brought out to him and downed the drink with a tip of his helm.

When his name was called out, the sparkling's head shot up from behind a table, having explored the underside of it to see if there were any secrets there. There wasn't any, so he wasn't too bothered with going back over to Veeron. Happily skipping over there, he grabbed the bag and the box with a straw in it and sat down right there on the floor.
Thanks grandpa! I like these!
The 15ft sparkling said with a huge smile, his two tesla coils crackling a little as he began munching on the chips, and drinking from the box when he felt it got to dry. He was almost as large as Swerve even, although he was much younger and far less inexperienced. The gun mounted on his back wiggled a little, and the same with the turbines on his lower legs, near his feet. They were new to him, so it was always fun to explore what they could do, turn on and blow wind and such. The sounds made him giggle a bit, in between bites and drinks. He was a happy little guy, and didn't know about the war or what had happened to his parents.

"Geesh- someone popped the wrong side of stassis." Swerve grumbled while dragging a rag across the corner, that was already spotless. His mood changed almost immediately. He had heard of what had been going on, for the most part, so he could only guess what the big rig was upset about anyways. "Hey, you did better than me anyways. I figured I should stay back in case the engex went missing again... heh... not like me, I know. I'm always up for adventure but... Tarn being there and all, just couldn't bring myself to it."
The smaller mech shrugged and leaned in a bit to get a better look at the little mech that was pretty much the same height as him.
"Yeah-- I kinda figured it wasn't yours. Too tall. I expect your kids to be either all over the place and destroying everything, or still hiding by the door. Probably about my h-- Oh sorry here I go again, I'll stop."
The metallurgist cleared his vocals and leaned in so the munching sparkling couldn't hear the adult talk.
"Okay so realltalk though-- Think Diamond is coming back or should I be investing in a world's greatest grandpa mug? Also-- Rumor has it our big-shot medic booked it. That true? Man what happened to you guys out there?"

A rather large, heavy servo clanked the now empty glass upon the counter as he gave a sideways smile to Aqua in response to the thanks, watching the sparkling play around as he sort of listened and sort of ignored whatever it was Swerve was saying about the entire war ordeal. Then about kids... he shuddered. Finally when it got serious he turned his gave to the minibot. His voice lowered and increased in attitude.
"No. I'm not sure she will." He lenses returned to the sparkling with a bit of worry. "It was a slaughter- I fragged up. We lost an easy win."

The sparkling had now finished both his snacks and his drink, bringing them both back to where the two others were. He reached up and put them both on the counter with a slight thud, eagerly looking up at Veeron.
What are we gonna do now, Grandpa? I ate eeeeeeverything!
Aquahaze said cheerfully, his tiny blue helm poking up to try and see over the counter, to see what was on the other side. It was the one area he hadn't yet explored, so therefore, he really wanted to see what was there. Although, there was another thing that bothered him, making him a bit unsure of how to process things.
Grandpa Veeron... where is mommy? Mommy should be back now..

Swerve looked up at the older mech with nothing but a frown.
"...Oh."
His faceplate twisted to a bit more solemn note.
"That's not good. None of that is good."
The sparkling blurted in and caught the drift of the rather gloomy conversation, but he continued to talk anyways, not thinking the kid would pick up on literally anything. Being for as big of a sparkling as he was, he sure didn't seem to be as bright as he'd think Sky's kid would turn out. Then again, seemed more like it was always brawn with that mech if anything.
"So now what? He just, hide here and wait for them to get us. What about the kid? What about us?"
The metallurgist was simply looking for some spark of hope in the down-casted lenses of the large mech across from him, he even moved to refill the large mug for the poor bloke. Though- he was feeling he could use one of equal size with all this news as well.

Lazily the opal mech's optics dragged from the ground to the peering sparkling that was situated not far off from him. He smiled weakly-- and brought the refilled much back to his dermas, taking a swift chug before making a reply to the mechling.
"She'll be around-- don't worry." He took another drink before he placed the mug back down on the counter-top. "How 'bout we watch a movie 'till your ma returns, yeah?" His lenses flickered to Swerve to join in and hint at the movie selection. "I bet ol' Swerve's got a good few in back you'd like."
Ron reached to his belt and clicked off a cylinder-like object that was as large as his palm. He dragged the end quickly on the counter, and a flame was produced on the outer ring of the hollowed bullet shell until nothing but an ember burned on the ridge with a soft roll of smoke billowing up. He took the cigar and bit it between his dentures, puffing it and letting it roll between his dermas as the larger frame shifted from off the stool. The older gladiator was beginning to loosen up and relax-- his mood twisting until he quit caring of all this nonsense.
"C'mon-- He can roll the projector out here- go hop into a booth."

A movie! He had not seen one of those in a long time. He was not one to protest the chance to see one of those. He liked movies! The sparkling squeaked as he ran away from the table, looking for a booth to sit in. He had almost forgotten about the fact that his mother was missing, since he was so young and impressionable. Aquahaze didn't find a booth quickly, since he was still new to this place and, to be fair, he had a very short attention span. Once he found the booth, he sat down in it, poking his head out towards the two older mechs.
Come on, Grandpa! Hurry! We shall see movie now!

He couldn't help but cast a rather unamused look at Veeron for a split fracture of a moment as a "movie" was mentioned. Before he sighed, of course.
"I mean yeah sure a movie is great and all but you know I highly doubt 1. Anything I have is going to be entertaining enough for kiddo 2. Is going to be age appropriate 3. That Dia won't murder me for showing movies 4. Setting this up is a pain--- BUT--- what the heck. Maybe we could all use an impromptu movie time."
Swerve shrugged and slid out from behind the corner as Aqua began to hunt down a seat. He walked off to retrieve the old projector from the storage closet and returned with a stand under his other arm. He flopped the projector up facing the large wall across from the booth where it would fill the entire screen. Swerve remotely killed the lights as a tape series he picked out on a different planet would be way more entertaining to Aqua; another mecha lifeform species doing a skit of dress-up and action- the intro was pretty cool- filled with explosions and laughter and stuff.
Swerve grabbed a big bowl of snacks and sat on same booth as Aqua, on the other side of the table with the bowl in the middle.

As Aqua and Swerve got all cozy and seated up-- Big ol' Ron removed the cigar-like bullet from his dermas and took another swig of the refilled glass before he placed the object tightly between his dentures as he stood from the stool and approach the booth... but a glance to the door and something immediately bothered him.
"You guys go ahead and start the movie. I gotta important thing to send, al'ight? I gotta step away for a hot sec."
He didn't wait for approval or not but instead walked off to the now darkened room until on I'll y his biolights made him noticeable, standing by the door while he tabbed through a few things on a data pad he brought out. He still hadn't heard back from Diamond... Stellene was gone- and he wasnt sure he trusted Swerve to babysit... or if he even trusted himself enough to watch Aqua....
The older mech huffed quietly on the glowing smoke-bit and puffed out a hefty dark cloud as his lenses flickered in thought.

WheelSpin had gone through the base, marking down the areas that the newly arrived could take and were now empty, passing the occupants, sending some of the resources to be transferred to the medbay for the injured and just, perhaps in small part, hoping he would see the two Autobots that had abandoned them after the battle, here. One, being the medic, the other being the large mech that he was rather angry at as well.
There was no reason that he'd find him here, really. Like the medic, he could have gone anywhere and not returned.
After he stopped to talk with one of the Autodrones however, some of the information he got, lead him here. No, the autodrone had said, he had not seen Stellene, the medic had not arrived, nor been at the medbay. Yes, there was a large mech however who had arrived with a small mechling and yes, that mech was still at the base. He was even pointed in the right direction, vaguely at least.
So here he was, revving his engine as he lit the hall that took him to the door, insignificant as any other. He came to a stop. He'd check the room then go on. Transforming he approached it and pushed it open peering inside.
