Mapping the room out, the main entrance was a simpl living area, complete with an energon stash, areas to sit, rest and/or talk, and a table that can bring up holomaps.
there’s a door that leads to the berth room where the two sleep. It’s simple and serves its purpose and that’s all that was needed.

Diamond set her son down on the berth, giving him a small energon cube. ”There you go my little one. Now, momma’s going to go out for a little while, and she needs you to stay here while she’s gone, alright?” She gave the little Autobot a kiss on the forehead, then rubbed his cheek, ”Mommy well be back soon. I promise.” Then she left the room, determined to come back alive. Skyspray (Aquahaze)

The young mech looked up at his mother with a bright smile. He liked energon, it tasted well and it meant he had been a good mech. He nodded to indicate that he understood as he grabbed the cube and held it steadily with both servos. The blue color was reflecting in his yellow optics. He groaned a little as he was kissed and rubbed his helm as if he was wiping away the kiss, but wasn't too bothered by it.
"Okay Mommy! I stay here! Byeeee!"
The small autobot waved at her until she had left before getting up and started to eat his cube. As he was a young one, he dind't understand the concept of saving for later or rationing, he ate all of it as fast as he could. He put the empty cube on the floor before slowly swinging his legs down from the berth and holding it tightly so that he could jump down safely. Once down on the floor, he quickly made his way over to the holotable. He had seen Diamond using it earlier and was interested in how it worked. Sometimes, things just appeared on it! He was determined to finding out how.

The young mech had been trying to get this thing to work for too long now, and he was getting quite frustrated that it wouldn't. He didn't understand that there was an on and off button on the table, and even if he did he was too short to reach it. Aqua was getting grumpy now, resorting to kicking the table with his small foot. The only outcome of that was a hurt foot and nothing else. He screamed out in frustration and had a small temper tantrum in the middle of the floor. Why wouldn't it wooooork?!? It wasn't fair!

ShadowZone had been passing the area where some of the private rooms were. There was no particular reason he was there, other than, the hall was wider and it was on his way of getting to the hold. He had no orders yet and he had not been sent out on a skirmish on that day. Having a 'day off' meant doing what he wanted, and, he didn't really care for anything much. When he heard the tantrum he paused at the door which it was coming from. Screaming usually meant danger, although there was no indication that the door had been tempered with or that anybody uninvited had entered it. This one belonged to Diamond, the sergeant and sire to Aquahaze. He recognised as much.
"...Are you alright?" He asked who he believed was the little one on the other side. It seemed he was alone in there as he could not hear any noise or voice coming from the room other than that of Aquahaze.

The sparkling stopped when he heard a voice coming from the door. Who was that? It didn't sound like anyone he knew. At first he was a little scared, what if it was a mean guy? his mom didn't want him talking with mean guys. He thought about it for a moment, what the consequnces might be if he opened the door. Ultimately he decided agaist it, both because Diamond didn't like him being with strangers and because he was a little afraid. However he din't want to be rude to the mech outside, so he scurried up to the door and began speaking instead.
Uhm.. I am okay.. Mommy says I shouldn't talk to strangers.. Who are you?

"ShadowZone, Autobot, flier." The tall flier answered in a monotone voice. He did not know what he was supposed to do with the sparkling behidn the door. "You are not being hurt?" He asked thus, as that was the reason for speaking out in the first place.
He waited at the door listening for a response. If the sparkling was safe and sound and nobody was trying to hurt him, then he could continue on his way. That yelling earlier had been a little distressing in particular as he had not known what it was for. He knew who Aquahaze was, although he might not have interacted with him before. One sparkling in the whole base was not hard to remember.

ShadowZone... That was not a name he recognized. It didn't say him anything, nor did the "Flier" part either. He knew that they coulf fly in the air, and he knew that mommy was a flier too, but that was pretty much it. However, the mention that he was an autobot calmed him. He was an autobot too, and so were mommy and everyone else around him too! That was a good thing! The other mech asked if he was hurt, and he wasn't hurt. Not badly at least, only a little in the pede.
No.. I'm not being hurt. But the table is stupid and don't want to work..
Due to his young age he hadn't grasped the difference between do and does, so he used both forms whenever he felt like it, Even if others corrected him when he said wrong. His interest for the mech at the door diminished rather quickly and the table once more took priority. He was determined to make it work. One way or another. He went back to the table and climbed up on a chair next to it, then climbing up on the table itself, crawling around on it trying to find anything that could make it start. He couldn't find anything, which made him a bit grumpy again and making him sit down on his aft. As he sat down, he accidentally hit something, because all of a sudden the table flashed to life and displayed 3-D images up in the air. They were rather advanced images too, of military vehicles and other equipment that had been in development. This shocked the sparkling to the point of him jolting backwards, falling off of the table and hitting his helm on the floor. This triggered something in the sparkling, and two beams of light shot out from his optics up to the images, scanning them. He didn't know what it was, but it was actually him scannig his first alternative mode. Due to his rather limited capacity it couldn't possibly fit everything that was up there and scanned, so instead his T-cog settled for a little mix of everything.
Now that the scan was complete, Aquahaze began shifting, but he had no idea what was happening. He knew that the big bots could turn into something else, mommy could turn into a big plane thingy that flew around. How this had all happened had scared him though, and it was all so new to him that he didn't dare to do anything. He just let the process happen and once done, a small hovercraft, complete with a mounted gun on the back, was just sitting there on the floor next to the table with all the images projected above it. The hovercraft didn't move or do anything, it was simply too terrified to move, not to mention that Aqua didn't actually know how to move. The sparkling figured that it maybe would return to normal soon, so he simply waited for mommy to come home and fx everything, as she usually did.

"I see." Well, it seemed as if there was no need to enter the room , burst through the door and scare the little one by accident, to make sure he was alright. That was up until that same little one had been heard crashing off a higher spot, landing on the ground. Making further noise and then, sounds as if something was shifting, changing? That was when it might have been time to try and enter after all, just to make certain that the sergeant's sparkling had not broken the connection between his processor and his spark.
Perhaps those sounds he had heard lastly suggested he was still fine, and a quick scan through the door confirmed it. "I will come in. Do not be afraid." He said in his usual monotone voice. He would have walked off at that point, normally. Something kept him there.
After that he moved to the door, to open it. At first it did not budge. Locked, apparently. It took a few more tries to override the lock command, until he was able to have the door slide open. Once it did, he was met with a sight of the hoovercraft in place where Aquahaze had been before. "....Transformation." He murmured, his optics shifting from the bot to the table, with the holograms and back. "First scan?"

Upon reaching her quarters, the femme's mind immediately when to a dark place upon seeing the door opened. How did Aquahaze escape? Or worse... who entered? Diamond pushed faster and turned inside, seeing a mech who was larger than her and a small vehicle that looked... like a hovercraft?
"What in the hell is going on?! Aquahaze?" She looked around, not seeing him but not bothering to assume he was the little vehicle at their feet. "You, out, now." She snorted at Shadowzone, definitely meaning it by the way she carried herself.

The sparkling wasn't all that sure about what had happened. One moment he had been alone and himself and then he became this thingy and suddenly he wasn't alone but accompanied by a large mech. The larger one had asked questions, but Aqua hadn't answered. He was rightfully scared of the large one as he was very new to this whole situation. This lead to him not responding or moving for several hours, hoping that the mech would leave or that mommy would come home, hiding in his little hovercraft mode.
After what felt as an eternity something finally happened. He heard a very familiar voice, and soon he could see his creator in the doorframe. She didn't sound very happy, and she told the other mech to get out. He hadn't done anything to Aqua though, because of his excellent camouflage, of course! He was completely invisible and super stealthy, according to himself. He kept himself where he was, waiting to see what would happen next, but he did chirp a greeting to his mother.
Hi mommy!

ShadowZone watched Diamond for a few moments and then slowly nodded. He was ordered out and so, without further ado he turned towards the exit. He did glance at the little hovercraft once more but said nothing about it. For a moment he wondered if Diamond's exclamation was meant to him, but when she seemed to be sending him out only, he decided it was not.
With quick steps he walked out , leaving the pair alone.

The femme watched the mech leave, before locking the door once more and looking down to the revealed Aqua. She looked really upset, but she suddenly squealed and quickly picked up the small hovercraft, her expression changing to pure joy, "My baby's first transformation! I missed it but I don't care! Aww just look at you! Where did you scan this...?" She hugged the little vehicle tightly against her chest before looking up at the table. Old battle plans and tactics. Old plans and blueprints... All from the former Skyspray Prime. She didn't want to look at them longer than the few moments she already had, and turned off the holograms.

The tiny hovervraft giggled as he was picked up, although he was a bit startled. How had she been able to spot him? He made no real move to get away from her hug, he couldn't even if he had wanted to. Being a hovercraft did have its limitations when it came to mobility. It was starting to get uncomfortable now, he wanted to be normal again.
Mommy... I wanna be normal again. How do I get normal?
The old ones didn't have a problem with changing modes, weird. Nothing that he tried worked when he tried to transform back, the only thing happening was his engines flaring on and off, trying to ignite and lifting the tiny mech up. Since he was being held, this had no effect whatsoever.

”Just think ofyourself before this, baby. Think of your little arms and legs, your little guns and coils... Think of youself as you were.” She instructed, setting him down on the floor again. Dia placed her servos on her hips, wings twitching as she patiently waited for the little mech to transform once more. The first process of transforming back into bipedal was always the harder one, and she herself remembered how difficult it was, having taken several hours simply to get an arm and leg. Maybe Aqua was different.

O..Okay mommy!
The little hovercraft said carefully as he turned towards her. He really concentrated on what he looked like before, as much detail as possible, but nothing happened. He was getting a little frustrated about it and tried even harder. Still nothing no matter how much he concentrated, making him vent in frustration and blink his small lights. He tried to understand how he would do it, mommy made it look so easy. Maybe if he focused on a certain part... He focused on his one arm, and somethign was starting to change in the side of the hovercraft, not much, but it was noticable.

”There you go sweetspark, just keep at it.” His mother encouraged, crouching down to watch his progress. He was struggling, but that was normal. She made sure his transformation was going to be smooth and painless as sometimes putting the wrong part first could lead to injury.

Encouraged by his mother, the little hovercraft kept at it. He wanted the arm done, then maybe the rest would be easier to handle. More stuff began to shift now, revealing his tiny arm and his hand, while the same thing began to happen on the other side as they were the same exact layout. His arms were mostly free now, wiggling about from the middle of the hovercraft, while he tried to figure out how to form his legs. That was trickier, and was much harder than the arms, at least he thought so. The legs were forming much slower, but they were forming without too many parts ending up wrongly that required him to back up and try again. Right now he was basically halfway done, with the limbs out but the main body still in a pinch.

Dia giggled softly at his attempt, making him look rather goofy. But she was proud was getting somewhere. ”You’re almost there my baby, you can do it. I believe in you.” She purred, visibly getting more excited to see the inevitable outcome. She clutched her servos together, a big smile on her face as the little mech shifted his body parts back to normal.

Aquahaze groaned, this was tougher than expected. Nobody had told him that it was this hard and exhausting to change form. He was determined to make it however, both because he wanted to be normal again and because the current state he was in felt wrong. It would take some time, around half an hour, of him shifting parts around intil he finally managed to return to his tiny robot mode, ending up sitting down in his aft, looking dazed and confused.
Mommy.. am I done now? Do I have to do it again? I don't want to do it again...
