Weapons
In Transformers Galaxy we allow a wide variety of weapons, despite this though when creating a character it may be difficult to figure out what exact type of weapon you want to use. This guide is intended to list a large variety of weapons to help users determine what weapons they want their character to possess. It must be noted however this list is only a guide and users may pick weapons not already on this list, modify the ones that are or even create their own.
Melee Weapons
When deciding a melee weapon it's often a good choice to decide what makes it effective against Cybertronians. In the case of most bladed weapons (as well as a few blunt ones) Thermo-Energon is often used as it's designed to quickly melt through armor. Some however don't rely on such chemicals as Thermo-Energon.
RiflesPathblaster - The Pathblaster is a semi-automatic weapon that fires dense packets of molten metal with great accuracy at a relatively slow rate of fire. During the Fall of Cybertron the weapon was wielded by Optimus Prime.
Ion Blaster - The Ion Blaster fires ionised energy that is highly effective against electrical systems, though rarely deal physical damage. As such the weapon is most effective as a non-lethal weapon, but can still be deadly if it hits a weakpoint such as the helm. [Note: This is not the canon version. Can technically be adapted for different weapon types including an Ion Pistol or an Ion Shotgun.]
80mm Repeater Assault Cannon - The 80mm Repeater Assault Cannon is a fully automatic high-powered cannon capable of firing 80mm shells.
Flash Blaster - The Flashblaster shoots shells that explode on contact with a blinding flash, dealing minimal damage unless it hits an sensor which can lead to permanent damage. [Note: This is designed as a non-lethal weapon, and can be adapted for different weapon types such as a pistol or shotgun.]
Gauss Bolter - The Gauss Bolter is a Semi Automatic Rifle designed to fire ballistic rounds. It's standard ammunition is brass shells fitted with a heavy metal core fired at high speeds to pierce armor. Another common round is designed to explode shortly after penetrating the enemies armor.
Neutron Assault Rifle - The Neutron Assault Rifle distorts the equilibrium of its target by blasting it with sonic booms. Other sources claim the weapon fires hyper-piercing, heated neutrons at 600 rounds per minute which appears more accurate. It is a surprisingly deadly weapon which is easy to maintain and at one time was most commonly used weapon during the Great War. [Note: TFwiki states the first section about distorting the equilibrium but the FoC games states otherwise.]
Canister Rifle - A scoped rifle used to fire darts and canisters at targets to deliver diseases or drugs from a distance. [Note: The Avacon known as Ichor possesses his own custom model ICR-3 Canister Rifle, that model classification is unique to him.]

Triple Barrel Mauler - The Triple Barrel Mauler is a fully-automatic shotgun capable of shredding enemies at close range in only a few miliseconds. EMP Shotgun - A short range shotgun that fires an EMP rounds at it's opponent that is able to puncture armor and internally damage systems.
Flak Cannon - The Flak Cannon was based off the ancient Scatterblaster design from the Great Civil War era, since then the weapon has been upgraded and redesigned to fire explosive shells. It can also slightly adjust the firing spread of the weapon for combat in close range or otherwise function as an Anti-Air option.
AVC-41 Repeater Shotgun - An automatic shotgun designed to clear entire rooms quickly and efficiently. Sound suppressors make this weapon less noisy than other shotguns, but as a result it makes a brighter flash when it fires. [Note: This specific model is an Avacon faction specific gun, similar guns may exist however.]

Sniper Rifles
Nucelon Charge Rifle - The Nucelon Charge Rifle is a hard hitting sniper rifle with a slow fire rate. As the name suggests it charges up over time to reach maximum damage before firing. [Note: When my character Shadow-Strike uses the weapon, I allow the rifle to charge up over multiple posts before firing. It is not necessary to do so, but I find players are usually more willing to take substantial damage when the attack has been charged up over time.]
Dynomic 90mm Cannon - The Dynomic 90mm Cannon is an Anti-Material Rifle capable of dealing devastating damage even to heavily armoured mechs, at the cost of a poor rate of fire and a small magazine. Unlike the Nucelon Charge Rifle it does not require a charge up time to fire. [Note: The Dynomic 90mm Cannon is a weapon I made specifically for my character Wraith and is designed to be rare.]
Plasma Railgun - The Plasma Railgun fires a travelling plasma pulse with high accuracy out to long range. Submachine Guns
Ion Blaster - The signature weapon of Optimus Prime, the Ion Blaster releases a wave of radiation condensed into an energy round. In War For Cybertron it behaves like a standard submachine gun.
Subsonic Repeater - The subsonic repeater is a model of close range submachine gun that largely replaced the older Ion Blaster model during the later stages of the Great War. It is noteworthy for being considered one of the fastest firing gun ever used on Cybertron.

Machine Guns
SMXCM-24 Chaingun - The SMXCM-24 Chaingun is a fast firing, belt fed, fully automatic weapon. It possesses a considerable rate of fire coupled with high precision and low recoil, which can quickly pepper an area with weapon fire. [Note: The SM section stands for Shoulder Mounted and was created for my character Harbinger. I don't actually remember the rest of the acronym.]
Hellfire Gattling Laser Gun - The Hellfire or Rainmaker as it is otherwise known is an Automatic Rotary Chamber Laser Gattling Gun, which fires energy rounds at an alarming rate. The Hellfire laser rounds use a lot of energy, and much like a ballistic minigun, requires cooldown after extended use. However its high damage output can crumble and penetrate domestic walls and weak armor or barricades quickly, as well as shred through heavy armour under sustained fire. Making the weapon perfect for siege tactics and laying down cover fire.
Predator Cannon - A powerful minigun with a windup, once at full firing speed the bullets spray from the eight barrel's unleashing an incredible bullet storm.
L-99 eraser - The L-99 is best used at medium to close range against multiple targets as the weapon is capable of holding four hundred rounds before requiring to reload.

Sidearms
EM Repeater Sidearm - A very small, compact sidearm designed to fire painful, stunning bolts of EM current at close range and in very rapid succession. Capable of discharging it's entire 30-shot clip in about 2 seconds, it is excellent for quickly stunning, immobilizing, and disabling opponents at close range, but is woefully inaccurate and really only good at about 50 meters or closer.
Downer - An unusual hand cannon, a downer as it is known possesses a decent range and a six shot magazine. The twist to this weapon is after penetrating the downer's shells while burst revealing drill bots which begin burrowing deeper into the enemies armor. These droids are rather stupid however and are just as likely to drill outwards after only a few seconds.

Crossfire Bolt Launcher - The Crossbow is a versatile weapon because it is capable of loading and firing different ammunition including armor piercing and high explosive bolts. On the other hand though the Crossfire Bolt Launcher can only hold a few projectiles at a time before needing to reload, which can be a lengthy process especially if switching ammunition.
Frag Reaper - A multi-round grenade launcher capable of semi-automatic fire. The long barrel allows suppression of an area from distance through the use of available grenade types.
Thermo Rocket Swarm Launcher - The Thermo Rocket Swarm Launcher is a multi-shot rocket launcher with laser designating and lock on capabilities. The standard salvo or swarm is eight thermo-energon rockets.
Plasma Accumulator Cannon - The Plasma Accumulator Cannon is a semi-automatic energy canon that has two potential fire modes. In both occasions the projectiles fired explode on impact. The first fire mode allows the user to fire repeated shots without charging at the sacrifice of weaker shots in general. In contrast the second fire mode must be charged up in which case a single large plasma bolt will be fired proving a massive blast radius as well as a addition emp effect in the nearby proximity.
Pits Breath - A flamethrower with a heat capability higher than what would be the recommended temperature for a cybertronian. Those branded by the weapon claim it's fires burn warmer than that of the pits.

Thermo-Energon Rocket Launcher - The thermo-energon rocket launcher's main role is the elimination of larger more heavily armored targets such as brutes and vehicles. To ensure attacks hit their target most of these launchers possess a lock on function.
Mine Launcher - This weapon allows the deployment of different mines. As such it is largely an area control weapon, which though extremely dangerous due to a variety of potential explosives, instead largely prevents enemy movement through the threat it possesses.

Vehicle Mode Weapons
20mm Rotary Cannon - Primarily designed for aerial forms, the 20mm rotary cannon is designed to deal rapid damage to enemy fighters and is most effective in dogfights where the weapon can shred through lightly armoured fliers while peppering heavily armoured vehicles with overwhelming munitions.
