Just north of Iacon lies of land of large, flat plains that stretch uniterupted for miles. Overshadowed by the city of Iacon in greatness and importance, it severed only as a buffer zone for the city during the war. No armies were foolish enough to try and launch and attack from such an open space.
It was technically a plataeu, naturally rising up out of the the surrounding landscapes. If you were to go far enough in any one direction you would come arcross steep cliffsides, making the area even more easily defendable and thus even less prone to attack. As the great rust spots swept the surrounding area, this plateau remained relatively untouched due to the same height and steep cliffs that protected its landscape from the scars of battle. Pair that with the healing of the planet, and its proximity to Iacon, this area almost looked out of time, unaffected by the centuries of destruction and conflict.

Driving away from the Regenesis, Influx found himself in his alt mode, sticking besides Scatterbeam as recommended by them, and causing absolutely no trouble. He only knew her name, as none of the other autobots with them had bothered to talk to him or anything like that, what made Influx think of them as a bunch of pretentious rude autobots, what they very clearly were. He didn't even know where they were heading, but he had tagged alone regardless because he felt lonely, even if literally no one here wanted him there, as long as they didn't kick him out... it was a bit boring, though, and uncomfortable to be there, in silence, a bit nervous because if they decided to take him as a prisioner or something, he had all the numbers against him, but he did know the destroyed terrain better. Anyways, he just sighed and stuck to Scatterbeam.

Following closely behind the gang at a low altitude was Dia, carrying Aquahaze in her cockpit that was much too small for him. The only thing that irritated her at the moment was the constant throb of her spark, how the link tried to reach out for the other side. There was no way she was going to accept the fact he was gone deep down, and so continued to look for him, even though the halfway point hurt too much to pass.
Her wings faltered, and she nearly crashed into a structure, but managed to snap out of it. Now was really not the time to test such properties.

Scatterbeam was quick to notice the awkwardness around her. At times like this she was used to escaping either to her little terminal room or just tuning into general radio chatter. Neither was an option now. She couldn’t stand the silence. Worse is that the scanner readings indicated they were nowhere near the spot yet. Something needed to happen, someone needed to say something. Influx had been beside her the entire time, driving in silence. It was quite possible he was very uncomfortable at the moment, especially seeing Whirls outburst earlier. “So,” she said to him cheerfully, “Are you a local or what?” But before he could answer Scatter saw Dia’s brief moment of faltering.“ Hold that thought one moment,” then she switched to Dia’s com, “Are you alright up there?”(RedOptics influx Hexcode Overdrive Killswitch

Whirl watch Diamond's terrible flying. It probably was to do with losing her sparkmate, and having the reminder of Aquahaze cramped in her cockpit couldn't be making it easier.
"So, I guess ya don't need any help dere," he snarked at her, "None whatsoever."
He looked ahead of him, "Some pretty racy cliffs comin' up ahead, too. Good thing everybody here's totally okay."

(Forgive me for the delay everyone. Let's get this going a bit further shall we?) Hexcode can be a bit of a stick in the mud when outcomes are incredibly dense and serious. He didn't mind silence at all. But the context of this silence was seriously starting to bug him. The only real sound he could tune into was the dull noises from inanimate objects all around him. He grumbled for a moment. The silence in this kind of predicament is spooky stuff. Gives that haunting feeling that something unwanted will jump out, and go boo. His drones are not going to put up with that mess. He checked the map with a glance every so often. Then observed the area they were in. Judging from the distance of everything, walking as proficient as it is will most likely only slow them down. If they were to run into a trap. Wouldn't they have run into one by now? Besides will all the overwatch they had? Who in their right mind would want to try to get the jump on them this early? If anything knowing the Decepticons. They wouldn't want to attack again after exiting a major battle unless they had a sure fire scheme under their belt. And well...after the battle that took place, it will take quick thinking to even get a foothold to have the courage to attack. Gazing over at Influx. Simply, by the way, he came in, he could guess that he won't be the only neutral they will run into. Some most likely not all that friendly no matter what insignia they bare. When chatter somewhat chipped at the heavy ice making this entire moment awkward. Hexcode decided that it is time to break the entire glacier in general. They are Autobots right? If there is anything on their side it will be speed right now. Allowing the Decepticons more time to get set up before them would be costly. So perhaps it's best to just ignore any possible threat, and go for it yeah? It's a painful thought to consider. But Hexcode always says if 'the rule book doesn't hold the most efficient answer, then make your own.' With that in mind... Hexcode would connect his link to all the comms around him. Making his announcement nice, and clear. "Okay, Autobots. I came to a conclusion that if anything were to happen along the way, that it might as well have already happened. As profitable as the plan is, I don't think being this careful is actually as beneficial as it may actually just be a waste of time. In that case. I'd say we pick up the pace, and get to the recon point as fast as possible. It's risky, but it is one I am willing to take now. I'd rather not let the Decepticons hunker down before us. Scatterbeam stay on the scanner as best you can okay?" He'd say. Afterwards transforming into a cybertronian designed Armoured SUV. Without warning hitting the petal, and boosting forward. Gathering herself, the femme snorted softly to Scatterbeam, ::I'm fine... don't mind me.:: Diamond then took a little more speed and ignored Whirl, not in the mood for his mere presence in general. But his guess was indeed correct. Instead of focusing on the pain, she heightened her altitude and took more to her original function: scouting.
She scanned the area for anything left over from the early stages of war, things such as mines, grenades.. anything that could put the others in harm's way whilst driving by. The cliffs were least of her concern, but as soon as the though of something hiding on the other end crossed her mind, well she bolted further up ahead, forgetting for a moment she was carrying a sparkling. It was uncomfortable carrying the little one in such a way, but what other choice did she have exactly?

Little Aqua had managed to calm down quite a lot now, thanks to Diamond's effort to do so. He did not like to be in that cramped space though, it hurt. Not to mention his broken arm. He couldn't move it from the elbow down, because that hurt a lot. He was whining a little, not enjoying the flight much. The sparkling looked out, to try and see what happened. He saw nothing interesting, except for moving things on the ground. Those caught his interest. He wanted to take a closer look on those things. Aquahaze pushed towards the edge of the cockpit, until he suddenly didn't. He had pressed a button that opened it, and since it did, nothing held him there in place. It took a mere second before he was falling through the air, gigglig happily. This was fun! Thanks to the relatively low altitude, he wouldn't hurt himself too bad (also known as die) when he hit the ground. He waved his arms around as he tumbled down, finding the ride amusing actually. Once he was almost at the ground, the rest of the convoy had caught up to them. This meant they could see him falling, at least some could. He'd hit the ground with a "bonk"... except it wasn't the ground at all. It was a moving thingy, and he had probably dented it quite a bit from his fall, or maybe he didn't. He couldn't really see straight, he was very dizzy. The colors made him think of the one from earlier, the nice femme. He laid down on his stomach and hugged the car the best he could, both to stay on and because he liked giving hugs. He couldn't really feel the rest of his body, but he was still alive and that was the important thing. (( RedOptics @rollerjade Hexcode influx Whirl ))

With the crisis between Aquahaze, Diamond and Whirl over, Dashside transformed into her motorcycle mode and joined the convoy, riding towards the back where she could keep an eye on the group, but for the most part Influx and Whirl. Dashside was concerned by Diamond's flight patterns, but she knew better than to ask the femme how she was, leaving it to the others to do so, instead opting to keep a watch on Sky's conjux - and she was glad she did. There seemed to be some movement from within the cockpit, then onto the top of Diamond's fuselage, and then something falling from it - Aquahaze. That certainly wasn't good. Whatever the sparkling was doing, he probably wouldn't survive, given that he was a sparkling and it was a 100ft drop. Spooling her engines into overdrive, Dashside surged forward, the boost of power raising the front wheel of her alt-mode into the air, dropping back onto the ground a second later. Racing through the group, she quickly came to the front and then pushed herself further forward, having calculated Aquahaze's general area of impact. Focusing her powers outward, Dashside generated a containment field as far above herself as she could, about 40ft in the air, that quickly enveloped Aquahaze's frame. The field pushed upwards, providing a force counter to the momentum at which Aquahaze was falling, slowing him down. He hovered at a fixed position in the air for a few seconds, at which point Dashside shifted into her robot mode and launched herself forward, catching Aqua in her arms and grinding to a halt a few metres back, cradling Aquahaze tightly in her arms. She knew that Aquahaze's little stunt would probably catch Whirl's attention and that he would most likely try to snatch the little sparkling again, so she held him tight, looking down at his face. "I've got you Aqua, just don't try anything like that again."(( Skyspray (Aquahaze) RedOptics influx Whirl @rollerjade Hexcode ))

Killswitch kept close to Scatterdrive and Overdrive. Staying relatively quiet for the entire first part of this travel. The issues that were present were of concern. Though not much to make him break positioning. His vehicle mode rumbling fiercely watching the sides of the path every other minute. He kept formation as presented, but listened in on comms as conversations came and go. Taking into account towards Whirl's call out and Hexcode's thoughts on the matter. Killswitch would pick up in speed gradually, but watched the terrain up ahead more. Which meant that when the time came to it. He was oblivious about Aquafaze's deadly decent until Dashside came blazing by to catch him. Which caught him off guard completely. He hoped the little guy was okay, but seeing how she had caught him he was sure that it was okay right? "Nice catch Dashside; that would have been bad if you hadn't done that." He said honestly thankful that the little guy didn't go splat. His voice would come through comms once more after a momentary pause.
"Seriously though. Does nobody have seatbelts or something? Sooner or later we won't be getting lucky anymore." He brought up half jokingly as he started catching up to Dashside.

Overdrive was following the convoy with Scatterbeam and Killswitch. He kept checking out the convoy's surroundings making sure he didn't see anything suspicious happening on horizon. The moment he looked back towards the convoy he saw diamond's sparking falling to the ground. He was on the verge of making a move to try and catch him but someone had beat him to the punch.
"That was some quick thinking" Overdrive said aloud to himself.
The convoy had driven for a little bit longer and at this point overdrive was starting to get bored of the silence so he decided to spark a conversation.
"Ok, Scatterbeam, Killswitch, and Influx was it? Let's talk about something. First one to respond gets to choose the topic." Overdrive told them sounding friendly to his fellows.

Even if Cybertron was slowly getting a little better and certain parts of it were being rebuilt it was, for the most part, still a dusty, rusty, dirty dump. Getting out of the city that he landed in had taken longer than he had wanted. There were still many streets cluttered up with debris, others that came to dead ends and some that just looked like it would be wise to avoid them. He backtracked several times and stuck mostly to the broader, larger streets. There he could drive faster and had a better view of what was ahead of him, which meant it was much easier to avoid it. He relied mostly on his speed. He knew there was a potential danger of an attack, even if not from the recently arrived Decepticons, but thought little of it. When he came to the outskirts of this first city he was finally one step closer to his final destination, Iacon. It was then that he encountered the cliffs, which he climbed in due time. Irritated again, by the defence that made his progress, as a car frame, so much harder. It would not have hurt them to have one nice road leading up and across the plateau, would it now? He had no time to check if he was perhaps wrong and there indeed was one such road, and proceeded in as straight a line towards his destination. When he reached the top he was far from his usual, shiny, and spotless self. He may have been a little dusty before, but he was downright unrecognisable now. He sighed and transformed from his alt form into his base form and studied himself briefly. Reaching into his subspace he brought out a piece of what resembled a cloth at best, although it was far from the basic piece of material found in some places and considered the base for clothes. The flat surface was pliant and acted similarly to a cloth, although the draw it had towards dirt and dust, was far greater than the normal thing. A swipe of this would contain the dirt via a charge and would, once the charge was released, easily let it fall to the ground. He wiped a few parts he could reach. The headlights were the first, then the sections of his chassis and then his car doors. "Well........that's for now." He reached to his faceplate, gingerly pressing two digits close to the tear. The energon was still smeared there, but the leak was mostly contained. He flicked the cybercloth and changed its charge, the dirt falling free. He tucked it back into his subspace and transformed back. Time to see where the others were. He revved his engine and bolted forward, cursing the fact the ground was uneven, it was raising just as much dirty as he had removed, if not more, and there was no comfortable road to speak of. It would have literally been dumb luck - and a bit of the observation of the horizon, with the convoy being that one speck in the distance that was different to the rest of the flat lands - that he spotted the little merry group of cybertronians all heading one way. He sped up in their general direction, ready to turn and run, should it be proven that they were just Decepticons heading back home. RedOptics Whirl Skyspray (Aquahaze) Hexcode influx Dashside

Whirl was only a little bit behind Hexcode, who was leading the way. He circled slightly.
"It's quiet," he stated, "Too quiet. Don't worry guys, I know how to break a silence."
Several people expected Whirl to pull out his guns. But he started singing. Badly. "Oh, I am a great big air-voy, flyin' through da air! I am a great big air-voy, ain't I a beautiful friend?! Air-voy!"
If some people had been in their base modes, they would have glared at him.
"I see a great big con-voy, rushin' through da glen! I see a great big con-voy, I'm gonna make 'im an end! Con-voy!"

Quickly snapping the cockpit shut, Dia took an immediate dive to catch her sparkling, unable to react fast enough until Dashside caught him. Diamond turned upside to not meet the ground with a painful end, blasting back up into the air. ::Thanks Dash... Er, you can hold him for the while... if you want.:: She said, a little out of breath before shooting forward to scout the surrounding area. There wasn't much out here, but what did you expect from a dead planet? Nothing but a few pointed columns, plated cliffsides and eventually far off in the distance, a great incline of landmass. But her focus was soon damaged by an off-key source of sound. "Ugh... I'd rather fly into a smelting pit that listen to that racket..." She murmured softly to herself, turning away and gaining altitude in order to give her senses something worth paying attention to. Seemed as though a few bots had met up with the group, but nothing looked to be off or even hostile about them. ::Er, Hexcode, not to disrespect your odd taste in direction, but aren't we supposed to meet with the P... :: She cleared her throat, the word getting stuck like bad energon, ::With the Prime?::Hexcode Whirl Dashside Skyspray (Aquahaze)

Though others continued to chat around them, Influx and Scatterbeam were instead apparently in a conversation of their own, and indeliberately found themselves tuned out of the other’s affairs. "So, are you a local or what?"
Scatterbeam asked. Influx thought on it a bit, what to answer, as he drove by her side. It was probably better to be sincere, though. "Yeah, I used to live in Tetrahex, before the war... left barely before it started, saw it coming and all... and well, I... fled."
He wad going to get called a coward once again, and he probably had it coming... She was quite for a moment. She didn't exactly agree with the decision, but wanted to stay open minded. He was, after all, not a warrior by profession. Despite her impression otherwise upon seeing his swords for the first time. "You said you used to be a medic, did have a clinic in Tetrahex?"
Influx almost sighed, time not to tell her about how he worked for the institute, doing shadowplay and rewriting personalities. "I... worked in a relinquishment clinic once I graduated as a neurosurgeon, but I did my practices as a nurse in the local medical centre, and spent a bit at Iacon's medical centre during a two year transfer. It was an... enriching experience" that must have sounded convincing. Scatter bought it. Seeing it was only fair, she got on with what she remembered about her past work, "I ran a rely station in Iacon for 3 years before the war. Nothing too important, I managed communications for local law enforcement. Before that I was a..." Why did she do that? She knew she didn't know what happened before then. She had to think of something fast, so he wouldn't get suspicious. "I was a... tower operator for a private station." Her technical expertise did not translate well to social intelligence. Not only did she not catch Influx's lie, she herself was an obvious terrible liar.
The hesitation was really obvious, and Influx caught it right away. It mostly catched his attention because being a tower operator wasnt something to hesitate about when yelling others, it was a normal, acceptable job. "Why the pause?. Having trouble remembering?. Is the war that intense?"
It could be information creep, it had been four million years since it all started after all... but really, everyone reminded pre war times just fine. Now he was curious. "Oh no, the war's the same as it's always been," she said, dodging the question. She didn't want to scare the neutral away with war's horror stories. Only out of curiosity to him, he was avoiding it for a reason after all. "Beside," she said, much more honest, "In my position you don't see that much." "Have you been an autobot since the begining?. As in, did you join the war as soon as it started?. Why did you do it?" He said, filing the other answer as a probable lie. "Ah. Im probably asking too much. Im just really curious. I have never approached either side of the war like this since I was living in New Crystal City" "Oh," This was her way of agreeing with him. This question was a bit too much. As in she didn't think she could pull off any lie of an explanation that was convincing enough. "I had a friend in New Crystal City. We lost contact though. He found his sparkmate, had a few sparklings, terrible creatures those sparklings. Got his own life, you know."
No answer for those questions. A bit disappointing but understandable. "I used to have plenty of friends, lives there for a couple million years. None as close as my amica endurae, Pulsewave, and I were. But I left and i've lost contact with him completely. Big mistake. I miss him so much. I remmeber seeing plenty of families around at the time, in Theophany it was common, as the safe place it was. Never minded them. But I don't think i'll ever get. Well, have any of my own. Not ready for that kind of responsability..." he explained. "I look forwards to seeing Pulsewave again, though. Scatterbeam stopped, suddenly. The others doing the same. Scatter's voice got lower, more cold. "You say you've lost contact..." Before he could even reply, she was already hacking his comms broadcasting history. Something Influx would notice, so he would have no compulsion to lie. If he was a spy, he was either brilliantly awful or awfully brilliant with that name-dropping. "You should know. He's a con now."
Influx drove a but away from them and transformed. "What the frag are you doing?. And what if he's a decepticon now?. It sounds really strange, but thats his business. Im not part of this war and you should respect my intimacy. Hacking is despisable. Stop it, right now." He hissed, wondering if he should just drive away right then and there. If Pulsewave had turned into a decepticon, already improbable, it wasnt his business, and his comm history was definitely not HER business. He immediately started blocking her from his systems. She stopped. Not that she had found anything anyway. "I'm sorry, its protocol..." Her voice softened as she repeated herself. "You're right… It's none of my business. Just protocol. I'm sorry.”(influx and @rollerjade Collaberation)

The sparkling wasn't too phased by the fall and when he ended up in Dash's arms, he was slightly confused. Where did she come from? He had not seen her before, only earlier, when she left him. Maybe she appeared when he thought hard enough about her! That was how it was! He felt proud now that he had figured out the secret, and smiled up at her. She did say something about not trying something again, but what? He hadn't tried anything, had he? This got more and more confusing. Why? What? He groaned a little and hugged her the best he could, being a third of her size. It hurt though, in his arm. Aqua looked over at it, only to see that it wasn't looking as it was supposed to. It didn't usually bend like that. He also couldn't move it, which was weird. He could do it otherwise, why couldn't he now? He waved his arm around a little, to see if it got better, but it didn't. Now he was starting to get upset, why didn't it work? He wanted it to work! Aquahaze looked up at Dashside again, now a little bit more grumpy and upset, while waving his broken arm at her. Not working! Bad! Fix!He wanted to make sure that she saw his arm, and fixed it. She was so big, she knew how to fix things, beacuse she was old and big. He wanted mommy to come back too, she usually made it feel better when it hurt. Or grandma, she was always fixing things, at least that was what his father used to say. His father was very busy now, which was why he wasn't there. He'd come soon, Aqua knew it. He always came back. (( Dashside RedOptics ))

Dashside held Aquahaze in her arms, embracing the sparkling in a small hug. Her face bore a smile, though as her eyes fell upon his broken arm, her expression shifted into more of a frown. The femme already knew how it had happened, after all, it was obvious - it occurred during his altercation with Whirl. "::I'm taking Aquahaze to a medic, his arm is broken.::" Dashside stated into comms, breaking into a sprint back in the direction of the crash site. Her alt-mode wasn't large enough to hold him, so she would just have to run instead.

Wheelspin continued in the direction of the little convoy. He had not attempted to establish contact with them yet, although it could be blamed on the assumption the signal was still jammed and corrupted. He had a better visual on the convoy now, he recognised at least one femme , the one in the sky. He revved his engine speeding towards the convoy. His signature was still cloaked, not so much for the benefit of keeping himself concealed from the convoy, but rather from anything else that might have been after him, otherwise. He was a little surprised to find that their direction had literally been, at least up till now, in the opposite way of the Iacon crash site. If anything , he would have thought they should have been regrouping somewhere near it, as it would be easier for most to find a huge ship that came down than try to figure out where else they were to meet. He had not remembered any meeting site being issued via comm, although this might have been down to the fact their communication had been affected. He steered his wheel a bit more to the left to avoid some of the rusty patches in the way. Then steered again to avoid some debris. While still a good deal away from the ship they could have been some left overs from the battle in the sky and space. He was getting closer fast now. Coming towards them somewhat diagonally, from the left side. He hit the breaks, bringing up all sorts of debris of the much smaller kind, which made it look as though dust had been kicked up. The said dust had concealed him for a few moments until he came to a stop. The effect had been a bit like when a skier gets too close and sharply stops, making all the loose snow fly into the nearest person, except it wasn't fully intentional. "Hey! Where're you going? The ship is that way!" He had transformed and stood there, with half his face facing them, his damaged though facing the opposite side. It looked as though he was checking for an imagined enemy, even if in truth he just did not want the damage to be seen. Influx didnt transform again, though. "Yeah alright..." he hadn't liked that intrusion, not at all. Whether it was protocol or not. He heard another mecha saying somethint about a medic and, leaving Scatterbeam with a quiet and dry "see you later". He ran after her.
"Wait!, wait!. Im a medic, I can help!, wait for me." He yelled, going after Dashside
