BASICS
Designation : Snapshot
Nicknames: Crackshot, Snipps, Mute, Dead-eye, Goggles
Gender : Mech
Age : 23 (If Human)
Home Planet : Cybertron
Home City State [ optional ]:
Faction : Autobot
Occupation : Special Operations, Recon
Abilities : Lock on laser sight focus, Stealth camouflage
Ability Description : Lock On Sight Focus: Through Snapshot's left eye, he is capable of locking onto a target and focusing the eye at a rapid pace which feeds much needed information on when, where, and how Snapshot has to fire to take down his target. Things like speed, distance, direction, and possible variables feed to Snapshot because of the eye. While this ability is in use, the only thing Snapshot is capable of seeing is his target through a scope in his left eye. Anything else cannot be seen. To add on, a green laser sight extends out onto the target that they can see as well which might ruin any stealth or recon operations if seen.
Stealth Camouflage: Snapshot's armor can make itself seem like it's transparent or invisible and even drop him off radars from both cybertronian means and human. Anything on his body changes with the armor, but things touching him cannot change (Ex: someone placing a hand on him would not change, but weapons on his persons would.) The downside to this is, the armor is not truly transparent nor invisible so any movement creates a silhouette that can be seen if looked for. Snapshot has to be completely still if he wants to go unnoticed. Thermal vision can pick him up however, because the heat from his machinery is not masked through the camouflage. As soon as the stealth is turned off, anything can pick him up again.
APPEARANCE
Optic ( Eye ) Color : Green
Primary Paint Color : Black
Secondary Paint Color [ Optional ]: Grey
Third Color [Optional]: Green
Height: 26 ft
Features:
Please put two Bullet Points listing notable features, a picture will account for this part of the app.
- Has a left eye that protrudes beyond the head. Much like a camera that can focus, zoom in, and zoom out. This eye has a laser sight built in as well that turns on when focusing.
- Just below the eyes is a faded deco that was used as a sort of war paint. Where a human's jaw would be is a white jaw skull deco that contrasts to his monotone paint colors.
Alternative Mode:
Throughout his time observing and taking in information about stealth operations, Snapshot took after the F-22 Raptor as a model for his vehicle mode. It was fast, stealth oriented, and still capable of holding its own in a dogfight. The sleek design and angles helps enhance his stealth camouflage as well in his vehicular form.
ARMOR AND WEAPONRY
Armor
Armor Description:
- Snapshot has reinforced metal armor in vital areas to minimize damage from weapons through impact absorption.
- He mainly wears light armor to keep his mobility at a high in case of a tactical retreat.
- Light Work: Heavily increases his dexterity because of the simplicity and light weight.
- Metal Impact: Reduces damage done by melee and ranged impact weaponry moderately.
Weaponry
There are a bunch of weapons listed here
Primary Weapon
Nucleon Charge Rifle
Description: A specialty of Snapshot's that got him the name in the first place. With this charge rifle in the hands of Snapshot, no one is safe. This sniper is capable of being attached to his right arm or separating for the longer shots.
Secondary Weapon : Cyber-Bow
Description: Where the charge rifle fails at medium range, the bow excels. This bow can pump out arrows at extreme speeds with overexerting force capable of piercing even some of the heavier armors.
Other Weapons : Subsonic Repeaters and Heat Seeking Rockets
Description : Snapshot uses two Subsonic Repeaters to clean up any fights that happen to get too close for comfort. These repeaters eject from either sides of his hip when commanded to.
While in Alternate Form, Snapshot has access to a limited amount of heat seeking rockets.
Gadgets :
The only gadgets Snapshot uses are ones that create dismay and turmoil. EMP Grenades and Smoke Grenades are his bread and butter. They can create distractions, disarray an enemy, or create a nifty escape route if needed.
Melee :
Thermo Energon Blade
Melee Weapon Description (Optional): This blade is hidden within the confines of Snapshot's left wrist. It's mainly used as a last resort as no one has ever gotten that close to the tactician.

OTHER
Personality :
Snapshot is not the most charismatic mech to grace the autobot's ranks, he would much rather keep silent and unheard than lead autobots to their deaths. His monotone and slightly robotic voice doesn't help much in this regard either. He prefers to speak when he deems it necessary or when he finds aggravating someone particularly amusing. This eventually gave him the nickname Mute that was so graciously handed out by his comrades. When he does speak, it's in a witty and sometimes sarcastic one liner that goes to show that he isn't as one dimensional as most cybertronians believe him to be. Do not mistake his silence as though he doesn't care. He cares about his comrades a lot and chooses to stick things out on his own for the most part. He doesn't want the blood of a fallen comrade on his hands if things went south. He's also extremely intelligent, capable of discerning lies from truth with ease. His presence makes some uneasy and fidgety because of the stories heard of him. He's lived through several fights and skirmishes with some remarkable shots that rose from the battles. He prefers to keep modest and humble as he lives by the human saying, "There will always be someone younger, and better." This phrase gives him a high level of caution and wariness that most don't have. He likes to study things and approach them with caution so as he isn't caught off guard. When faced with hard decisions, he often defers them to more capable hands but if he's forced to he will more often then not take the more logical approach. He rarely deserts his comrades but will make a quick and hasty retreat if he needs to in order for a better vantage point. Overall he may seem monotone and boring, but there's more than meets the eyes in this mech.

History ( Optional as some like to make it up as they go along ) :
The first memory Snapshot could remember was when he was awoken in front of his parents. The world of Cybertron was not yet under massive conflict from the various factions that wished to control Cybertron's energon. They taught him about the importance of information and observation above all else. As the probability of war grew larger, his parents took it upon themselves to train him in the arts of conflict, strategically and through combative means. They trained him to fight amongst the best of their kind. The only skills he was severely lacking in were strength and hand to hand combat. Due to those circumstances he couldn't directly fight anyone so he chose a more proficient way of killing, long distance and stealth. He became exceptional in those fields of combat and earned a place in special operations. The faction he stood behind were the autobots. He found the decepticons were often far too brutal and cruel. During the Cybertronian war he earned most of his nicknames. His effectiveness in hunting down decepticons was exceptional and is known as one of, if not the best marksman in the autobot ranks. Some people say that right before your death you see a flicker of a camera flash and then it's lights out.
After the Cybertronians ravage their own planet with war, Snapshot went along with the autobots to escape their planet in search of a new hope in the vast universe. When they arrived at a planet called Earth, Snapshot chose to take a more strategical approach to warfare instead of using his marksman abilities to help change the tides of war. During this period on Earth, he would hack and interfere with the planet's technology. He hoarded any kind of information on them that he could, but the most notable of information he took interest in was their approach on war. Blitzkrieg, guerrilla warfare, and fear tactics. If there was one thing the humans got right during war, fear was one of them. Fear could completely tip the scales and ruin the morale of an army. Imitating the humans, Snapshot adopted their colors: black, grey, and green. These colors were used when stealth and infiltration were a must. As of recently, he is often mistaken as decepticon to those that haven't heard of him. Being a aerialbot, Snapshot took an interest in the planets stealth based aircraft. Through videos and pictures, the mech copied the F-22 Raptor's design and integrated it with his Cybertronian design. It didn't look exactly like the original, but it did it's job. He never set foot on Earth fearing what would become of it if he did like his comrades. Earth could have been the next Cybertron. As luck would have it though, Cybertron had called them back and he would answer it's calls. This time, he was more prepared and felt ready to face the horrors of war again as the Snapshot of the Autobots.
Family ( Optional, some just have none ) :
Parents: Dead from previous Cybertronian Civil War
Strengths :
MINIMUM of four bullets ( Full sentences required ).
- When it gets down to the nitty gritty, Snapshot is reliable. He gets things done when they need to get done.
- Snapshot is an expert marksman and rarely misses his shots.
- He is also cunning and intelligent. Almost nothing gets passed him and he often finds many solutions to a single problem.
- Above all else, the marksman is very observant. When you're always looking down a scope and your specialty is recon, you notice things quickly.
Weaknesses :
MINIMUM of four bullets (Full sentences required).
- By no means is Snapshot the strongest of his kind, his strength lies elsewhere.
- His melee combat also leaves something to be desired, only using it for surprise or to catch enemies off guard.
- Snapshot is not very charismatic when you first meet him. He doesn't say much but when he does he starts to grow on you.
- Never has Snapshot been a leader. His leadership skills aren't very high. Most of his missions he stuck out alone, preferring not to look after anyone in fear of getting them killed.
SAMPLE RP
The Cybertronian landscape was barren and scarred. The war took its toll on not just those that fought in it, but the very planet it was held on as well. The planet looked jagged and more crude than it had before. Luckily for Snapshot, this made it harder for him to be detected within the wreckage of scrap metal lying about the battlefield. Blasts from near and afar could be heard for miles. The sounds of cries from friend and foe alike assaulted the mech's audio units. This wreckage was of a fallen decepticon in its alternate tank mode and it was one giant behemoth of scrap. The wreckage also had smoke pluming up above which made it even harder for him to spotted. With his cloaking ability activated, the mech's armor would fade and it would appear as though he no longer occupied the position. The autobot was lying on the Cybertron floor with only the scope and barrel of his charge rifle peaking out from the right side of the tank. His upper body paralleled the gun but his legs shifted to the left some while they were slightly spread apart.
His position in relations to the front lines of the attack were pretty far back. The autobots had already taken and sieged this region with nothing but bodies, smoke, and debris scattered throughout it. The autobots were laying waste to a small base that was meant to be hidden from them. They had intercepted a message from one of the decepticons and pinpointed it's location. His job was simple but still of high value. The targets were decepticons manning turreted machine guns and any others that were causing too much trouble for the front lines. As he focused in on the battlefield through his scope, a number of machine guns came into view. With sweet efficiency, the rifle charged up and sent out a shot to the 3 targets. Each hit their mark and quieted the guns' noise.
"Was that Snipps? Glad to have ya join us!"
"Like taking a picture. Say cheese."
A flash and another would hit it's mark. Sure that the decepticons knew of his arrival, Snapshot would make a retreat behind the tank and it's smoke to cover him as he made his way towards another bit of cover. This one was fallen rubble from a building wall. Placing his rifle on the cover to stabilize it, he would kneel to brace for recoil. Again, his gun was in view but this time so was his head. With the cloaking still in play he awaited for his next target to come into view. Sure enough, a decepticon helicopter was unleashing machine gun fire and rockets out into a cover that a group of autobots were behind. It hovered in air raining down hell trying to cover for some decepticons that were pushing forward.
"Can ya do someth-"
Without the bot finishing his sentence, two shots rang out ending the con's existence.
"Did you even have to ask?"
His robotic voice would leave the comms silent for a while. He had work to do.
