BASICS
Designation : Livewire
Nicknames: Livvy
Gender : (Trans)mech
Faction : Decepticon
Occupation : Decepticon Commander, weapons engineer
Personality :
At first glance, Livewire seems like a stone-cold, sparkless mech. He is stoic and displays little emotion, aside from annoyance and anger. His tone drips with sarcasm constantly, and he dishes out dry remarks regularly. He seems withdrawn from his fellow bots, preferring to close himself off to them and remain isolated. He believes that connections only make you weaker, which may stem from the fact that he has a twin. He is a standard workaholic who shuts himself off in a lab for as long as he can without offlining himself (although he's contemplated it).
Deep down, however, there are wisps of a compassionate mech. He may show it in subtle ways, and only when you get to truly know him, but he does (begrudgingly) care. It is difficult for him to open up about anything. Though he may air his grievances frequently, he is undoubtedly loyal and would rather put someone else before himself. To an extent.

EQUIPMENT AND ABILITIES
Weaponry :
- An energy blaster that can be charged before firing. It uses radioactive substances (like plutonium) as a power source. It isn't used as often due to difficulty obtaining a power source. It's still one of his favourites.
- A shoulder-mounted missile launcher. It is very powerful, but only has one shot at a time and used rarely due to its weight. Better used from afar, due to large impact radius of the missile.
- A burst mode rifle that fires shots in rounds of three.
- A twin-barrelled plasma blaster that can also be charged, but gives out smaller bursts of energy, rather than large shots.
- An energy pistol that is his go to weapon.
- A semi-automatic ballistic pistol.
Not illustrated-
- A dagger with Cybertronian engravings.
Gadgets :
From left to right-
- Plasma grenades that explode a few seconds after the pin is pulled. Weakest of his explosives; used close range.
- Sticky bombs that can stick to most surfaces. It uses an advanced adhesive, capable of sticking for an indeterminable period of time. The adhesive melts with high heat. Detonated remotely.
- A more powerful bomb with a larger blast radius that has a built in timer. Cannot be detonated remotely.
- Camouflage bombs equipped with photodectors that allow it to detect frequencies of light. It can then mimic those frequencies, allowing it to blend into surfaces. Detonated remotely.
Not illustrated-
- Stun grenades that force optic receptors to reboot, blinding the enemy for however long it takes. Large blast sound also disrupts signals being sent to audio receptors.
- Smoke bombs that can provide a decent amount of cover for him and allies.
Abilities :
Description: Livewire has the ability to hover in mid-air using the thrusters in his wings. This gives him a brief height advantage over other enemies. However, it does not propel him high off the ground, and only lasts for a few seconds maximum. More effective if he is already in mid-air.
He knows some basic sleight of hand tricks, taught to him by his sister Highwire.
He has an exceedingly fast alt mode that holds the world record for flight airspeed.
OTHER
History :
N/A
Strengths :
- He is adept at engineering and science in general. He could probably produce a weapon (however rudimentary) from a box of scraps.
- He has quite a bit of experience with firing weapons, considering his occupation. He has a good aim.
- He rarely lets emotion get in his way; he doesn't have time for it.
- He can't feel anything in his wings, partially eliminating them as a weakpoint.
- He has a twin named Highwire, and he would do anything for her. Nothing could stop him from trying to save her, if she needed it.
Weaknesses :
- He isn't good at social interaction, making it difficult for him to make allies. He can come off as abrasive and rude.
- He has a weak spark and takes medication for it, which he is slightly addicted to.
- He has no experience with melee or hand-to-hand combat, and he's relatively weak for a mech his size.
- He doesn't have particularly bulky or strong armour.
- He has a twin named Highwire, and she is all he has left. As much as he would hate to admit it, he is attached to her, unlike anyone else in his life.
SAMPLE RP
As it so happened, Livewire had been sent to inspect the crashed ship. It gave of a faint signal, but that signal was Decepticon, so they figured they should get to it before any Autobots or neutral scavengers claimed it. He stepped out of the groundbridge and laid his optics on the ship; the smell of burnt metal filled the air. Blackened remains of the hull lay scattered about. He stepped over them and into the crater the ship had created on impact. He figured the structural integrity of the ship hadn't been compromised too badly and ventured in. There were no life signals, which meant that the ship had been abandoned or the crew had been decimated. Even though he assumed there was no threat, he kept one of his many blasters drawn, clutching it in both servos."Why do they send me on these missions?" He muttered to himself, much rather preferring to be in his lab. He traversed the winding hallways, finding nothing extraordinary. All the systems were down and the word 'ERROR' splayed across the monitors. He walked down a hallway, following the sign that was hanging off the wall. However, there was something more interesting around the corner. A red light, flashing bright enough to grab his attention. He entered the room and looked at the stasis containers, approaching the only occupied one. So, it was a transport vessel for these bots. Well, this one at least. But why was he so special, to be preserved in stasis? He was going to find out. Slamming the release button, the pod stuttered to life and slowly opened. His blaster trained on the pod, and he waited.
