Stasis lock rooms have low temperature and dimmed lights which only ever lit up when the doors are opened, this one in particular has seven stasis pods, each with its own mechanisms to be opened and closed, each with their own date of repair and release of their subjects. However, there are so many stasis lock rooms that this one in particular seems to have been forgotten by the crew of the Nemesis. It had been left unopened for 23 million years, always just as you turned the corner, a corner no one had gone around for a very long time, much less mechs would have noticed it then. As Stasis Lock isn't really used for long trips anymore.

If you entered the room, dimmed lights would turn on slowly, as they had been turned off for millions of years. twenty three million years to be exact. Once you looked inside you'd notice six empty stasis lock pods, and one with a blue mech, a jet, inside. The date the mech should have been awakened at dated of 23 million years ago, but the mechanism that would trigger his release was simply never triggered, and so the mech had been left in stasis. It was Bluewing, and whether this had been intentional or an accident, he might not ever find out... but whenever he was awakened, he'd be greeted with unexpected news...

One wrong turn later and Annihilator and Whitewash found themselves in the wrong part of the ship. It would take time to get accustomed to the ship's layout. Toting His Autobot around the room while he gave it a once-over, he muttered "that's not right" when he finally got to the unopened stasis pod. Then, he keyboard mashed the console to trigger its activation sequence. Bluewing was a tad bit unfortunate, here. The first faces he'd be waking up to were an Autobot prisoner's, and whatever little was left of Annihilator's.

The stasis lock pods doors unlocked, then. Slowly, the systems showed Bluewing being brought back online. That was, until his optics lit up in green and he was finally given complete movility and control of his own frame. Due to being locked in stasis for such a long time, his joints creaked and his legs doubled under his own weight, unable to support the sudden weight of their own body after so many years without being used. As a result, Bluewing collapsed onto his kees, supporting his weight with shaky arms as he looked around in confusion.
Why did he feel like he had been ran over by a bunch of vehicons?. His systems were having s bit of touble, lagging and processing his surroundings. He fely slow and heavy, never a good sign. "Wh-kkkkkkkkkjzk" Bluewing started coughing, his vocal processor not ready for use just yet. He gave it a few seconds and tried again. "Who are you?, wh-wh-kkkkz... ... Where is everyone else?" He asked, sitting down on the floor as his legs were still weak. All the other pods were closed and there was no sign of the rest of the mechs and femmechs who were supposed to be there as well.

Well, this was going to be awkward. He stood back and watched as the bot slowly peeled away from his stasis pod. Then, he spoke.
"This may come as some surprise to you. Pace yourself," he began, "you... were the only one." He made a grand, sweeping gesture to all of the empty stasis pods in the room. "You have been here over twenty million years longer than intended. Why you were forgotten, I can't say for certain."

Bluewing openly stared at the taller mech as he spoke, rising an optical ridge.
"You must be... mistaken. Have we reached Versk yet?. I cannot possibly be that late. It is physically impossible that my superiors, my amica and conjunx have forgotten about me for twenty million years. Are you sure you didn't misread a few zeroes?"
The mech was clearly not taking Annihilator seriously. And how could he?, The conflict the sole idea of being forgotten for over twenty million years generated in his processor was immediately contested by a defense mechanism, denial. Bluewing stood up slowly, his joints complaining loudly. He was feeling pretty out of it, but tsk, that didn't mean anything...

The trouble with stasis pods - all stasis pods, everywhere, in every known universe, everywhere, is how precisely moderated they need to be to keep a Cybertronian in a timeless slumber. That means the slightest power fluctuation can send them fritzing. It's the main reason it's a bad idea to use them as actual cells. It's pure bad luck when one prisoner can sleep 10 million years longer than his timer while another might be woken up unexpectedly within two weeks.

The confusion Bluewing was experiencing was understandable, and unfortunate to witness. "I'm afraid it's just as I said. We are in a system locally known as the Milky Way, a long way from Versk," he said.

This mech didn't seem to be joking, not at all. It worried Bluewing, his systems weren't updating and he wasn't processing this information properly. That was clear to him, but looking at the other stasis pods, the ones his team used to be in...
"I... think there must be something wrong with me then, I'll need a medicon, can you walk me there?, because if what you're saying is true I might... i don't know, but i can't wrap my mind around it. Understand me, everything in my head is screaming at me that it can't be true, i just cannot believe you. My internal watch is frozen and my analysis are detecting more than a few important malfunctions."
Bluewing gulped as realization slowly slid into his processor.
