Although he is only a few meters short of Megatron's height, he comes very close to matching his frame looking almost identical in strength.

OTHER
Personality :
Dreadwing is an unusual case in his personality among many of his Decepticon allies; many were power thirsty, twisted, corrupt beings only seeking to resolve things through the destruction of their enemies. Due to the many years serving under the honourable banner of the Elite Guard, Dreadwing has developed a sense of integrity. He considers all possibilities in a battle scenario and knows that to take hasty decisions could leave to dire consequences. The former Elite Guardsmen focuses on the sole ideology of survival, whatever the situation may be, if it means even working alongside Autobots to ensure that he may fight for the Decepticon cause another day.
Though do not be fooled by this single trait, he may have developed integrity but in the end he still is a Decepticon to the core, despite his best efforts to be rid of the dark side of his spark, he still may perform acts that would be deemed tactically impressive but also dishonourable in its own right. Some of his many traps he tends to like the most is using a hostage to bring all his enemies to him before leaving them all to their deaths with his explosives. He shares no pity with his enemies as he assumes neither will they if given the opportunity, a lesson he will soon learn to be false.
Courage: 8/10
Charisma: 5/10
History ( Optional as some like to make it up as they go along ) :
Dreadwing, alongside his twin brother Skyquake, were both forged from the same Spark meaning they Spark spilt. This gave both the Cybertronians the unique ability to sense one another despite how far apart they may be in the Universe, this unique gift kept the two at a very close proximity to each other until both their roles had been pre-determined on Cybertron. Since Dreadwing showed signs of being a High Caste, his fascination of Cybertron and his determination to learn its secrets. He assumed he would fall into Intellectual class, as others would of his class. Yet another fate was sealed for him, instead, he received the role of a member of the Elite Guard; a faction Dreadwing at first did not entirely enjoy the position. His carrier like body seemed fitting for more of a Military class mech, but his mind-set showed so much more. Therefore, the decision was finale; he would be a part of the more intellectual side of the Military, by joining the protectors of the High Council.
Despite his first impressions of becoming a warrior were of a savage wasteland much like the infamous gladiator arena of Kaon, he reluctantly accepted his teachings by his peers, so that he may become a worthy protector to the Council. During the many solar cycles that past, Dreadwing’s skills in CQC and the art of swordsmanship were reaching masterful levels, slowly developing a sense of honour in combat, learning of respect, dignity and most importantly, shame. Through all this training however, Dreadwing did not want his scientific mind to be wasted, he wanted to find a way he could use he art of science to merge with the art of combat to further increase its efficiently. That is when he discovered the glorious creation of explosive devices. During his training, he looked deeper into the manufacturing of certain explosives, seeking way he could remotely detonate one without triggering the others, hence he concluded that he needed to build his own. He began with finalizing his own Proximity mines, which had an explosive radius of around 5-6 meters depending on the terrain, were the first to be tested, with this new theory of Dreadwing’s, and it worked without failure. Among the ranks of the Elite Guard, many began asking Dreadwing to manufacture more of these explosives, or at least similar ones, to further arm the Elite Guard in case of any immediate attack. With this state, Dreadwing had found his purpose and excelled at a most satisfied state, but all of this changed once he laid his optics on one particular Cybertronian.
Megatronus, the infamous champion of Kaon, followed by his trusted ally Orian Pax, these two were well known within the High Court, since the choosing if the new Prime was imminent, and the Council were looking for worthy candidates to be gifted with such a title. Many followers had already chosen Megatronus to be that candidate, with many of the Elite Guard needed to keep the peace and prevent anyone from entering the Court as they made their decision. Dreadwing however had the fortune to be inside the Court, where he could learn the intentions of Megatronus to see if he was worthy to lead. As he spoke of a new Golden Age for Cybertron, the Elite Guardsmen’s was overwhelmed with pride to the promises this gladiator made, to think such a savage place could make way to such a Cybertronian who wanted to see his planet flourish. As the Council made their decision to whether Megatronus was worthy, Dreadwing was already won over by Megatronus’’ words, if such a thing were possible he would gladly stand by him as he made his home a glorious one.
As most Cybertronian’s know, it would be Orian Pax out of the two, that would receive the Matrix of Leadership, and it would be what created Megatron, and the Decepticons…
Th Great War
Most of Cybertron were divided, the forever loyal followers of Megatronus cried in outrage to the Council’s decision, even members of the Elite Guard argued against it, thus started the first skirmishes of the Life-cycle of a war. Megatronus, now going by the name Megatron, lead the newly formed Decepticons and the former Orian Pax now Optimus Prime led the Autobots. Dreadwing joined the Decepticons, also becoming one of the many followers to Megatron, the Elite Guardsmen’s skill allowed him to gain quite the leverage in their ranks, instantly receiving the rank of Captain with his own army of Seekers at his command.
He participated in many battles with his army becoming quite successful over the Autobot forces that he faced, his skills in combat giving him the edge over many other officers of his skill, his reputation slowly rising as he defeated each adversary proving to be more valuable to the Decepticons than first anticipated. Many victories came to Dreadwing during the eons of conflict, with his expertise in combat and his intellectual mind, used for strategic purposes further aided him in the many battles he faced, his expertise in explosives also provided more firepower to utilise causing the destruction of many key strategic points for the Autobots.
Nearing the end of the War, when the Autbots made one last desperate escape aboard the Ark, Megatron pursued the fleeing Prime with the Nemesis at his command, risen from the dying spark of Trypticon. Dreadwing did not accompany his Lord Megatron, instead he fled moments before the final battle, feeling a surge within him, meaning only one thing, something had happened to his twin Skyquake. Seeking answers, he left Cybertron aboard a shuttle of his own, in hopes of one way reuniting with his online or offline twin.
Family ( Optional, some just have none ) :
-Spilt Spark twin of Skyquake
Strengths :
-Swordsman/Combat master
His hundreds of cycles serving under the Elite Guard has enabled Dreadwing to learn the art of a swordsman and the art of close quarters combat, becoming quite a master in these arts with his retractable blade that he can gain access to from a small holster behind his right shoulder.
-Strategist
The former Captain had the Autobots at his mercy on numerous occasions during the war, his unique and unpredictable tactics have successfully left forces scattered in mere nano clicks before finishing off the rest with his army of Seekers. His equipment allows such things to be possible but his mind benefits the effectiveness of his equipment, sometimes even rigging other Cybertronians to blow in order to lure their allies close enough for a devastating ambush.
-Expert in explosives
His fascination with explosives and being a member of the Elite Guard has its benefits especially with the setting and usage of explosives devices, his intellectual mind can allow him to use his proximity mines in many unique ways, even in a mid-combat scenario.
Weaknesses :
-Little pests
His skills cannot equip him to face opponents much more agile and smaller in size than him, it is true that his size brings him more strength than other adversaries, but this also comes at cost bring too slow to ever truly lay his hands on significantly smaller bots
-Same old tricks
Years of training may give him the edge, but during all confrontations, he would seek to use the same tactics that can be memorised easily after the first encounter, and yet he still think his approach to combat will work. This goes for his swordplay and his usage of proximity mines.
-Swordplay
His swordplay is indeed difficult to defend against, truly being a spectacle to see, and Dreadwing believes this too. Normally he would show of his skill with a sword by swinging it around multiple times which could be his downfall. It may be due to overconfidence of skill, or pride of what he has achieved. Alas, it does not matter entirely, what does matter is that it provides enough time to dispatch Dreadwing once he has reached this stage.
-Easily Distracted
Dreadwing may be a huge threat to any he has chosen as his next target, but his determination to show off his skills in combat in a glorious battle is something that can even distract him from his current mission. He cannot turn down a challenge on their behalf, it would simply be a shameful act, however this course of action can make the Captain very vulnerable to ambushes and traps his opponents have set up.
SAMPLE RP
The crowd could not stop chanting, the endless echos of thousands of spectators wait for a spectacular performance from the gladiator. He waits in his confined cell, his body feeling more alive than ever, the anticipation of these preparation moments were the hardest part for Dreadwing, the rising champion of Kaon to soon one-day battle with the greatest, but not yet...no, first he needed to earn that glorious right. He slowly pulls his sword, the grating of metal on metal echoes throughout the hollow cage, this was the moment, the moment where he shall be noted as one of the greatest. He swings his sword around the whipping sound ricocheting, feeling alive as he did. He places both hands on the grips, his hands tightly clenching the blade that will reveal the truth of his purpose, this...this was his purpose. The thrill of battle, the honour of victory the skill needed to endure such beasts. It all became familiar with Dreadwing.
The chanting echoes louder, and louder and louder, the voices sounding as if they were surrounding him! The cell cracks open, it crashes to the ground with a massive cloud of dust bursting from its contents, emerged Dreadwing, the swordsman, rising champion of Kaon, his opponent roars in anger as he takes the first move, launching himself at the behemoth. but before he even came into striking distance, the foe felt a blade slice into him, passing through the other side. Flopping to the floor, pleading for mercy, screaming for his life "Please! have mercy!"...but none was given. The gladiator plunged his sword into the very spark of his opponent, ripping it from his very body, crushing it to dust, before he left he kneels before his opponent, showing the sense of honour that kept Dreadwing going. "To fear death, is to fear life..." He leaves the arena, the world around him shifting from the Pits of Kaon to a small spaced ship, Dreadwing stood in the darkness...waiting...for the time that he will rise again, for honour, for the Decipticons! For Megatron...
(This may be out of context but this is a sample rp from my previous app, this will have not much relation to the overall character and I will write his coming to Earth in my first thread)
