Personality
Outside of battle, Jazz likes to bring life to the party and attempts to brighten up a gloomy situation whenever possible. He is always looking to learn more and is fascinated with Earth culture- more specifically, music. He is versatile and clever but is but prone to distractions.
When it comes to battling for the Autobot cause, Jazz is about as loyal as they come. He strongly believes in the oath he took when he became an Autobot and is willing to give his spark to that belief. He is willing to take on the most dangerous of missions without hesitation. He may not be the strongest on the battlefield, but he will continue to get up and fight until he no longer can.
History:
Before his choice of side in the war, Jazz preferred to engage in his musical talents for those who wanted to listen. His skill set and natural talent allowed him to play a variety of different instruments for his adoring public, who coined him with the name nickname Meister ( master, as a master of his music ). Once the war became the forefront of Cybertron Jazz was forced to hang up his first passion and chose his path, which came just as natural to him after being witness to the cruel acts the Deceptions brought down on those who opposed them.
Millions of years before Orion Pax became Optimus Prime, Jazz was a member of the self-named Magnificent Six, who were a cocky group of Autobots sent on a mission deep into Stainx. After losing one of their teammates, the group lived in secret shame until the return to Stanix forces them to face their ghosts. After the experience, Jazz takes on an new perception of his Autobot brethren and a more serious look to his oath as an Autobot. Now wiser and under leadership of Optimus Prime, the war against the Decepticons was no longer a game to him.
As a member of the crew of the Arc, he was amongst those who had crashed to Earth and right away took in the new exciting culture surrounding him and his team. This was a short-lived enjoyment, however. On a mission to scout an energon source in which he engaged in gunfire with a band of Decepticons, Jazz fell through a crater in the ground which plummeted him deep below surface into a system of undiscovered caverns. Having ruptured an energon line on the way down and unable to call for help due to interference, Jazz was forced into an emergency stasis lock and lay dormant in his makeshift crypt. It was six years later when he was discovered by a human excavation crew assisting the Autobots in a energon mining expedition. Now operational again and under a new leader, Jazz wonders just what role the Autobots are playing in this relocated war.
Family:
none
Strengths:
Jazz is an agile Autobot with a need for speed and style. His charisma can bring laughter to a room or lighten up even the most gloom of moods- always trying to think positive even in the most dire and hopeless of situations. He is courageous, willing to put his spark on the line to assist a fellow Autobot in trouble and takes his loyalty to the Autobot cause very seriously. His expertise in human culture makes him a valuable asset to the Autobot team and his skills make him an expert infiltrator and saboteur.
Weaknesses:
Unfortunately, Jazz's strengths are also his weaknesses. Not only is Jazz one of the most agile and fastest Autobots in the group, but that build also leads him to be one of the weakest in armor. One would think twice than to take on five predacons on their own, but not Jazz, because sometimes that same courage he brings to battle is his downfall and he is forced to rely on his resourceful tactics to pull himself through it. Jazz also has a tendency to become distracted, especially when it comes to music. If it's culture in his way, Jazz is sure to stop and look.
Other:
No. That's enough. My fingers are bleedin'
