REACH IS LOST
That message would be transmitted throughout all the UNSC fleets across the Universe. The Covenant had won. Reach, the Spartan training ground, had been lost to the alien Covenant.
Many a Spartan would weep for their lost comrades that day.
Most remembered would be Noble Team.
Noble 1 - Carter, who had sacrificed himself in the hope that his remaining troops would be able to save Reach.
Noble 2 - Kat, shot in the head by a Covenant Jackal. A needless casualty of this war.
Noble 3 - Jun, the only one to survive Reach. He still mourns his team.
Noble 4 - Emile, fatally stabbed by a Covenant Zealot while making a stand against the Covenant.
Noble 5 - Jorge, sacrificed his life to deal a heavy blow to the invading Covenant.
And the nameless soldier. Noble 6. Who made his last stand as the Lone Wolf he had always been.
And now, eight months later, a lot has changed.
United Nations Space Command? Heh. More like shattered. We're splintered. Still rebuilding what we had. It's taking longer than expected, and it's not like we expected it to take a few days. We're lacking Spartans, our military is decimated. There's a Civil War going on in the Covenant. One side lead by the San'Shyuum, ugly things, and the other side is lead by someone we only know as The Arbiter. Seems like a nice enough guy, doesn't exactly trust us yet though. Now we're trying to find a way to claw ourselves up from rock bottom. The Master Chief is missing, the Marines and ODST are in tatters. How're we going to rebuild what we had? Well. We're humans. We persevere. For better or for worse. Right now we're looking in to more Spartans. That's where I come in. Zain Alexander, from ONI. Currently recruiting for the Spartan IV program.

UNSC Weapons
Assault Rifle: The standard UNSC firearm. Automatic and with a 32 Round magazine.
Battle Rifle: Standard Issue burst rifle. Shoots in three round bursts. 36 Round Magazine. Comes with a 2x scope.
DMR: The Designated Marksman Rifle (Or DMR) is a semi auto, single shot rifle that comes with a 4x scope. 16 round Mag.
SMG: UNSC Standard Sub-Machine Gun. Can be duel wielded. (By Spartans only)
Shotgun: Semi Auto, pump action shotgun. 8 cartridge mag.
SAW: The Squad Automatic Weapon (Or SAW) is a fully automatic drum machine gun. Terrible at Long Range.
Sniper Rifle: The Sniper Rifle is a step up from the DMR in terms of damage an accuracy, but is not used in field missions. Used in select situations, usually by sharpshooters. 4 shot magazine.
Rocket Launcher: Two shot Rocket Launcher. Commonly dropped in during field missions as back up for Spartans or Marines/ODST. Not commonly used in Ops.
Railgun: Charged launcher that has to be reloaded after every shot. Heavy weapon. Usually dropped in.
Sticky Detonator: Launches sticky bombs that are detonated after being shot. An unusual weapon to use in the field.
Spartan Laser: Charged beam weapon with enough force to melt about anything in its way. The most powerful weapon in the Spartan's arsenal.
Magnum: Standard Sidearm for Spartans and Marines/ODST. 8 shot magazine.
UNSC Grenade: Frag Grenade
Covenant Weapons
Plasma Rifle: Fully automatic plasma launcher. Danger of overheating. Carries charge instead of ammo.
Covenant Carbine: Single shot, semi auto needle rifle. 8 round magazine.
Needler: Small needle pistol. Enough needles shot into one target causes them all to explode.
Plasma Pistol: Standard Covenant sidearm. Charged shot can disable a vehicle for 10 seconds. Carries charge instead of ammo, with a charged shot depleting 10% and a normal shot depleting 1%.
Beam Rifle: Covenant answer to a Sniper Rifle. Carries charge, with every shot depleting 10. Not usually used in the field.
Concussion Rifle: Launches balls of plasma which explode on contact with a surface. 5 shot magazine.
Energy Sword: Sacred Blade of the Sangheilli. Carries charge. Elites usually carry extra batteries.
Gravity Hammer: Covenant Brute melee weapon. Capable of sending out huge shockwaves.
Fuel Rod Cannon: Covenant answer to Rocket Launcher. 5 shot magazine. Not usually carried in the field. Rockets can ricochet off walls.
Covenant Grenade: Plasma Grenade
