Postojnska Jama, Slovenia
Postojna Cave is a 24,120 m long karst cave system near Postojna, southwestern Slovenia. It is the second-longest cave system in the country as well as one of its top tourism sites. The caves were created by the Pivka River.

The hours grew late, automatically initiating it time for the tourist spot to be closed. As the last few humans chatted of their fantastic experience in the cave system, the tour guide politely ushered them out. Then there was silence. Well besides the constant sound of water trikiling from the ceiling and the slithering of all the cave's creeps and critters. Near the entrance, crates were stacked against each other, on the side a forklift parked, seemingly blending end. It wasn't until the sound of shifting plates could be heard, followed by a mtalic voice.
Thank Primus, I thought they'd never leave!
Dextor stretched. He was a simple minicon, standing no more than 10ft tall.
Now, where are those mineral infused stalagmites. I must simply extract a sample of sorts! Unlike Cybertron, this organic planet is filled with the most peculiar of resources...Heh, I must document my findings!
Dextor had been on the planet no more than a few days. However he hadn't bother to even contact the Autobots, for he was far too busy sticking his nose in data files with his endless quest of research.

((Mind if I pop in here? 'Cause I can just void it if you want.)
There was a slight rumble that could be felt around the cave, as if the landscape had somehow shifted and quantum based radiation was being picked up. How was this possible? Well, anyone could see that in the no-tourist zone, hidden away, there was a shuttle. An Autobot shuttle, (one capable of supporting Quantum travel. Very rare. Rare enough to be considered non-existent.) with a small bit of the door being exposed but blocked
Rebooting....
Two blue optics slowly opened in a dark place. The room began to lighten up slightly from the blue lights that escaped through the slits of his eyelids as they slowly being opened up. There was groan. Shuffling on a metalic seat. Standing up. Sitting back down of much needed recovery that came along with another groan. There was then a voice, with a Nyonian accent, asking: "What the frag happened?" No reply, making the question rhetorical. There was a press of a button being heard along with lights buzzing on. With the lights on, it made everything clearer to see.
The figure making all the noise was a Cybertronian, a mech. It looked like a speedster, judging by the kibble and the hot rod colour scheme. The make made his way to the engine rooms to check on the quantum engines. They were fine, just needed to recharge for another jump. The hot rod mech swore he had gotten most of the co ordinates right and now he was trapped. He tried to send a comm to Autobot base, where ever it was. But there was no signal being picked up.
Not a good start then. Plan B. The opposite on knocking someone's door and asking to get in. The mech made his way to the exit door and slammed his fist against it. Asking if anyone was around and capable of freeing him.
"Hey, anyone around here to open this door? I'm a bit trapped."

(It's no problem, any one is welcome to join. ^^)
Dextor who was busily scanning each stalagmite that protruded from the ground, mumbled all types of scientific jargon whilst continuing his work. With analysis of each cone shaped rock, the mininot made a cosistent mental list of variations. Such as rather they were coated in a simmiliar or different material, and if the prescence of humans some how altered the minerals which laid embedded inside them. From there the list just went on and on.
Now to any Cybertronian, his actions would appear boring...or somewhat pointless. Nevertheless Dext was built to receive and distribute data, therefore he intended to do just that. The minicon was just about to take a sample and compare, however was rattled by an odd rumble, occuring from somewhere in the cave.
How Abnormal, I wasn't aware that this region was susceptible to perceptible tremors. I was assured most earthquakes occur along the edge of the oceanic and continental plates of this planet.
His sensors then began to spike, at picking up quantum based radiation. Dextor allowed curiosity to get the best of him, as he began to investigate the source. He soon found himself wandering towards a more secluded part of the cave, to his left a knocked over sign, read 'No tourist beyond this point'. Daring to venture deeper, Dext found himself confronted by stumbling by an even more astonishing sight. A Shuttle.
The Door appeared to be blocked off by by debri and earth. Before he could ponder any further, he was startled to hear a voice speaking from the other side. Necessarily Dect could not make attempt to help this unknown mech, unless he was sure of his allegiance. After all, the minicon was in no shape to defend himself against a threat.
Fortunate for your sir, there is in fact someone here who can orovide assistance. Howere I mus inquire who you are affiliated with, as well as a proper introduction.

((Thanks! ( ^ ω ^ ) ))
Introductions? The mech kind of liked how this person thought. After all, he could be Megatron with a voice synthesiser. The mech leaned against the wall with arms crossed.
"I'm Rodimus, Rodimus Prime;"
Rodimus said. He then paused, sighed. What was the point in saying that? He wasn't even a Prime, Optimus was.
"Well not a Prime. Not yet at least, but y'know. Nominus, Optimus, Rodimus. There's a trisyllabic pattern, and it can be worked into a rhyme. So yeah; Rodimus of Nyon- creator of this shuttle, the Rod Pod, and I'm an Autobot."
If Dextor knew his cities on Cybertron, he'd know that Nyon was a neutral city with most of it's inhabitants having and insurgery against Zeta Prime, so suspicions would most likely to be raised. But the reign of Zeta Prime was long over shortly after Nyon's destruction. Rodimus clicked his fingers as he remembered something possibly important.
"Don't look up my Autopedia entry 'Rodimus'. It still has to be changed from 'Hot Rod'."
Was that good enough for an introduction? Rodimus wasn't entirely sure. Adding in his Autopedia entry would be a good way to confirm who he was, then again, the Autopedia could be edited. Someone edited his page once saying he was the number 1 Optimus fan-boy. The more Rodimus thought about that edit, the more he thought it was due to him calling himself a "Prime".

(Just a heads up , my Internet is kind of down, so I won't be replying as often.)
Dext listened closely, doing his best to analyze and decipher each word the mech uttered out. He was doing his best to detect any signs of hesitation. Most comonly when bots tended to hesitate, they were being untruthful. His visor lit up in confusion when the mech had stated he was a prime, however he soon corrected himself. After a somewhat believable explanation, the minicon's suspicions were lowered.
I see.
There was a pause as he began recollecting all the data he had gathered so far. Specifically the part in where he had mentioned he had originated from Nyon.
Well Mr. Rodimus, I'm am hoping you have no plans of rebellion of the sorts any time soon. Frankily I find your introduction to be satisfying, however with your ties to the city of Nyon, I am left to question.
He spoke in his usual formal tone before taking another brief pause.
Nevertheless as the inhabitants of this planet seem to always say,'Never judge a book by its plastic encasing.'
Dext most likely meant cover, though the mech always had a way of complexing things.
Now onto more pressing matters. The deal to your shuttle appears to be blocked by mounds of rocks. Perhaps I could remove enough debri, for you to be able to force the door open?

((That's okay, and thanks for notifying me.))
Rodimus placed a servo on his forehead, vented in and then exhaled. Nyon was long gone now and people still were weary about those who originated from the former city.
"Yes, I was an insurgent against Zeta's regime. But he's gone now. So no worries."
Rodimus thought back upon his life in Nyon with the other insurgents. Him, Slinger, Sparkflare, Swindle- actually Swindle didn't really count. He wasn't from Nyon and he was a Decepticon. Swindle was an arms dealer for them at best. The mech raised an optic ridge when the unkown mech spoke about the inhabitents not judging books. Rodimus himself wasn't surprised at the fact there was inhabitants in this planet- he was actually expecting them since he received a mass message from Optimus Prime a few years back to come here. But what did surprise Rodimus was that the inhabitants of this planet had books.
Rodimus came back into focus of the situation when Dextor spoke again about moving debris.
"Sounds like a plan... What's your name?"
Rodimus asked. He didn't recall Dextor saying his name to the wannabe-Prime.

(Np)
The sound of shifting plates could be heard from the other side, as Dextor transformed into his forklift alt mode. Logically it would be much easier to use the attributes of his vehicle form, rather than to rely on his bipedal mode. To fairly put it, he was physically weak, therefore his forks would be doing a great service in removing the debri.
Huh?
Dextor spoke, snapping his attention back to Rodimus.
Oh yes, my Designation is Dextor. However most have comonly refered to me by the appellation, Dext.
He grunted as his forks began to lift the first of the debri.

"Dextor, eh?"
Rodimus said to himself over and over again in various tones and voices. This was a normal thing Rodimus usually would do when he was bored. It was good practice for his speeches. The more dramatic the more pumped people will be. Or at least that was what Rodimus thought.
"Cool name. And just give me the word to bust this door down."

(Sorry for the wait, school has been obligating my time. If its fine with you, I'll only be able to post on weekends.) Right.
Dextor began moving rock after rock, each one taking a bit more of his energy to lift. During the process, Dext couldn't help but here a faint mumbling sounds coming from the other side of the door. Was this mech talking to himself? The minicon didn't appear bothered by it, only curious. After all more than a coulpe times he had caught himself lecturing aloud on his own scientific findings when no one was even around to hear.
Well Mr. Rodimus, I've done what I could on this end. There should be enough debri cleared , for you to push the door open. After all I did make sure to do a thorough scan as to the most efficient way to liberate you. Tis why the fundamentals of science, never fails!
The small mech just had a habit of inserting science into all his explanations.

((Don't sweat it. School is important and it isn't something you can control. Just take your time. )) "Heh. You sound like Perceptor. Oh, and you might want to take a step back."Rodimus said as he got off the wall and took a few steps back. The more Rodimus thought on what Dextor had said the more the Nyonian thought of Brainstorm. The "Tis why the fundamentals of science, never fails!" was what made him think that. After waiting for half a minute for Dextor to get out the way, Rodimus lifted up his arm, aimed at the door and fired. As the shot made contact with the door, it created a hole dig enough for Rodimus to crawl out of. The hot rod mech smiled as he made his way out of the Rod Pod and into the open of the cave. The mech stood at 25 at full height, so he had to kneel down so he didn't hit his helm against the ceiling. This place was small for the Nyonian. "Huh. This place is smaller than I thought. Is the rest of the planet like this? If so, I'm going back inside the Rod Pod and try to fix the quantum warp drive."

(Cool, just not trying to make sure I'm not an inconvenience.)
Oh why thank you. I'd like to assume that all great minds think alike.
He used a cheerful tone, obviously flattered that someone had compared him among a well favored icon. At Rodimus's warning, Dextor waisted no time in pulling in reverse while in his altmode. Startled at first by hearing the shot of the gun, the minicon coaxed homself into relaxing. At times he could be a bit 'skittish'.
Bravo! What a remarkable display of power! Frankily I've never seen any gun that had enough force and raw energery to create a hole in a door.
His remark spoke clearly that he might of not been around many weapons or any guns of sorts.
Dextor then transformed back into his bipedal form. Standing at probably only a fraction of the other mech's height, to Dext he could be considered a giant. After all 10 feet didn't appear to be normal height for average cybertronians, therefor giving him the title of a minicon.
Fret not, this is merely a cavern. In fact the outside is much more spacious and diverse. Actually Earth has a total surface area of about 501 million km2 . About 70.8% of the surface is covered by water, with much of the continental shelf below sea level. It equates to about 361.13 million km2 .The submerged surface has mountainous features, including a globe-spanning mid-ocean ridge system, as well as undersea volcanoes, oceanic trenches, submarine canyons, and oceanic plateaus .The remaining 29.2% is not covered by water, it has terrain that varies greatly from place to place and consists of mountains, deserts, plains, plateaus, and other landforms.
Then again that's just data I collected from what the humans call.... the internet ?
Dextor was a rather....informative bot, however could go a 'bit' over board with giving out information.
I could tell you more, if you like?

"Thanks."
Rodimus said. He was never one to not accept a compliment. This would add a few points into his ego. Because of this, Rodimus didn't catch on to the fact that Dextor hasn't been around many weapons. The mech raised an optic brow as Dextor spoke. Now he was back to thinking the kid to be more like Perceptor; not using one word when twenty will do.
With most 'bots, they'd get lose track. But he spent time with Drift, which exteneded to Perceptor, he'd be able to lose track until over half way. When the minicon asked if he should continue on explaining. Rodimus merely shook his head, with a smile.
"No. Unless you are going to do it with much simpler words."
He said jokingly, not meaning to offend Dextor in any way. He looked at the Rod Pod. There wasn't much he could do with it, and if there was more to this planet, then there had to be an exit somewhere
"Okay, then. Where is the nearest exit?"

Oh my, do forgive me. At times I can be somewhat of a.....Hm, what was is the word often used?
The minion paused, taking a moment to organize his thoughts.
Chatterbox! Yes, I believe that's the correct term!
Dext appeared to be not even the slightest offended. After all during his time, he was use to bots cutting him off politely when he'd gone to far. Naturally, Dextor had a tendency to lecture on things that could be explained in five words or fewer.
As for the exit, it's right this way. However I do advice you to duck as we near exit , the inhabitants of this planet are not even nearly as equivalent to a cybertronian's size. Therefore, their passages can be quite small.
He would explain, before happily leading Rodimus towards the cave's entrance. The minion would try to be at least four paces ahead, knowing that the other mech's single step was probably three of his.

Rodimus nodded. He could relate in, some way, with Dextor if he wasn't so vain. He didn't really mind chatterbox-ers. They were always good for showing off how great a plan was. Rodimus snapped out of his own self-indulge and began to focus his attention back onto Dextor. The small mech was talking about an exit. The mech placed a hand on his chin as he nodded, acknowledging the information on how to get out. Seemed fairly simple enough, although the ducking was worry some. A mech at Rodimus' size didn't have enough room to change form.
The mech saw Dextor began to make a move for the exit. Rodimus nodded and gestured while saying "Lead the way!" The hot rod mech took a few steps forward and stopped. His steps were fairly bigger than Dextor's. Guess he better slow down. While standing still, Rodimus took the time to remember about the Rod Pod. The mech turned around while opening up his arm and pressed a button. This button activated the Rod Pod's cloaking shield, hiding it away from plain sight. After that sort of buisness was dealt with. He caught up with Dextor in a few steps. As the Rodimus walked with his smaller companion, he asked him a question.
"So, have you seen any other Autobots here? Optimus? Prowl? Bumblebee? Ultra Magnus? Drift?"

Dext continued forward, his small pedes proceeding as his mind began to recall where the entrance was.His helm tilted ever so slightly over his shoulder, noticing Rodimus initiate a cloaking mechanisms for his ship from his arm. Interesting. Though he quickly referred his attention back to in front of him, almost finding himself running head first into a stalagmite. A foolish mistake! The minicon would scold himself, correcting his pacing around the protruding rocks that were scattered along the cave's floors.
I've not encountered any of the following, nor do I even know if they're on this planet. I'm afraid I have not the chance to contact the autobots at all since getting here. My time has mostly been preoccupied with...er, um....Per say, more prominent matters .
He felt somewhat embarrassed to tell someone the reason why he hadn't contact anybody was because he was spending his time studying a bunch of rocks. Nearing to the entrance, the ceiling began to get lower, however Dext of course didn't appear to notice.

((Sorry if the post is messy. Kind of having one of those disoriented days.))
"Really? What kind of prominent matters? Top secret stuff?"
Rodimus nodded as he walked on with Dextor. For a while he had been doing well to avoid the stalacites. But the ceiling got lower and lower, making it harder for him to not hit anything. A mech his size wasn't meant to be in such a small space. As Rodimus walked on, he had to go on to his hands and knees. Something he was not happy about. The mech mentally swore as he then decided to transform, breaking any stalagmites and engraving scratches onto the walls. And that was all thanks to the shifting of moving parts, mainly the spoiler. If Dextor were to look behind, he would notice a big change in the area surrounding Rodimus. On the bright side, it would be alot easier for Rodimus to move around.

((No worries, I've had quite a few of my own. ^^"))
Eheh....Well I would not quite classify it as... er...secret. Perhaps, more better labeled as being important in a....uh... personal way?
At the moment, Dextor began to really run out of different ways to say he'd basically been collecting rocks, the whole time he's been here. He found there was a way to make things sound more interesting by rewording them. However one bot could only do it for so long. He tilted his head to see if Rodimus was still following along, only to see the mech transformed, as well as the surrounding area.
Oh my, here am babbling again, too busy to notice your discomfort! Though fear not, we're nearly out of the cavern. Are you fine with moving forward?

Rodimus nodded- or he would've. Nodding wasn't really a thing someone could do in vehicle mode. If it was personal matters then Rodimus wouldn't ask any further. As Dextor asked how well he was doing driving along the terrain, the mech answered with words.
"Eh, a few bumps ain't that big a deal."
The flashy mech was doing fine, being able to keep up with Dextor in close proximity.

(Its all good) At last they had reached the outside. Normally it was less stuffier than in the cramped space of the caves. Dextor appeared even more pleased at the sight with the sun setting nicely on the horizon. The minicon was kind of glad he'd stop his rock collecting to get out of the caverns.
Here we are! Postojnska, Solvenia in its finest!
Lucky for them, today the country was having mild weather rather than its usual harsh temperature. There was nothing worse than having to not only combat against fierce icy winds, while at same time trying to get in contact with base. Together those two could be the perfect mix for a disaster.
What do you think Mr. Rodimus, is to your liking?
Dextor would inquire formally, of what the other mech had to speculate of his first look at the planet.
