Connecting in mid-air Shadow-Strike observed the trail of energon created from the slight wound, it wasn't major but as was common in such battles such wounds would add up. A strike which damaged an aerialbots wings after all greatly reduced their mobility in the air if not outright removing it. Upon landing and following up with his thrust Shadow-Strike's blade connected with a reactionary defence from a stray dagger which parried his blade away. It was almost pure luck but it at least had saved the femme from a blade through the spark for now as Shadow-Strike spotted her lowering one of the weapons.
Even nowadays sheathing a weapon will in battle was uncommon, however whenever it did occur the likelihood of a new weapon being introduced was almost assured. Taking this fact into account Shadow-Strike was already flexing away from the flames that leaped from Wildfire's servo. His quick reactions to the threat ensuring he didn't get hit straight in the chest as the fire slapped him on the right shoulder blade, leaving the armour charred but still functional. Not allowing her to retake the advantage as she began to redraw her weapons Shadow-Strike moved back into melee range.
His blades moving in synch with his body as a whirlwind of magma, metal and death personified. The moment he was in range the strikes struck quick and fast an unending flurry of dozen's of slashes and thrusts. Each time his blade moved in trying to chip away at the femme's frame; Her helm, chest, shoulders, arms, waist and neck all justifiable targets in the dozen or so strikes which followed. A specifically nasty swing at the end attempted to cleave the femme from right shoulder to left hip with his left blade.

Wildfire raised her blades in defence, clashing against Shadowstrike's. Every swipe met met and every action met with another opposite reaction. Trying to counter the mech's attacks.
The final swipe met with her blade, she could feel it cut and wedge into her blade, feeling her blade being pulled from her servo. She daren't let go, pulling back at the blade. Feeling her wrist dislocate as she tried to free her blade.
She panted heavily, each vent drawing in cold air, meeting with her internal systems, steam rising from her.

Pleasantly surprised from the femme's ability to keep up with his own swordsmanship Shadow-Strike's final strike brought the series of attacks to a standstill. His and his opponents blades clashing as he applied pressure and continued to push onwards. The extreme pressure of thermo-energon weapons combining with the falling snow creating a mirage from the steam that emitted from their blades. In that moment all that existed was him and the enemy that needed to die, the clearing and surrounding trees where non-existent as his optics stared into Wildfire's.
With another mighty push in an attempt to unbalance her Shadow-Strike lashed out with a kick aimed towards her right ankle in an attempt to swipe her legs away. If he was successful he would then follow the attack up with a simple downwards slash which towards her neck. It wouldn't be a particularly flashy strike but a beheading was one of the easiest ways of ensuring a cybertronian stayed down.

Wildfire fell to her knees, however she wasn't going to go down so easily. The femme swept her pedes at the mech, trying to offbalance him as he attacked. She wasn't intending on being killed today, if this worked she would lunge at the mech, with both blades, like fangs bared to strike.
Each move she was thinking, if she should use a more heavier weapon, every strike reminded her that she needed to be fast, her other weapon wouldn't have been suitable for this fight.

Off balanced with her retaliatory strike that tried to floor him, Shadow-Strike was only given a second to readjust before he was forced to parry the blades from the new strike. The fang like grip of Wildfire's weapons adding further difficult as he was clipped on the left forearm, the strike leaving him to spurt energon before energon clamps locked down the wound. In time with the energon leak he turned his body sideways ensuring the fluids from the new wound flew towards the femme's face before it was stopped. It wasn't the most honourable of techniques but he figured it was an easy way of temporarily disabling the femme's vision.
Hoping to change from defence to attack in time with his blind-siding technique Shadow-Strike sidestepped towards the femme with a fencing thrust from his left blade, before following it up with a leap in what could be accounted as a superman punch with the use of his right blade. It's blazing tip headed straight for her spark chamber while the first strike was aimed at her lower abdomen.

Wildfire backed away trying to defend herself from Shadowstrike's attacks, one optic closed, one half open feeling his blade slash against her midrift. She had tasted life fuel, hers or his. It didn't matter. She wiped away the energon from her faceplate, fire in her eyes and fire in her servos. She sends a clear message back to Shadowstrike, launching a stream of flame at him.
The punishment she was taking was irritating, she couldn't let herself lose to her hunter. A backup plan was being calculated. A new weapon, a battle hammer. Grasping it firmly with one servo, another slamming a ball of fire into its turbines, the head of the hammer began to glow fiercely with her fire, channeling it through her body.
Both servos grabbing the hilt now as she swung it ferociously at Shadowstrike, a trail of fire thrusting it in in its destructive arc.

Following through with the superman punch Shadow-Strike was given little time to retreat as a jet of flame scorched his armour. The elamentalists attack was more flashy with a hint of tactical awareness rather than debilitating however as Shadow-Strike stepped away from the fire, it's once overwhelming flames lessening to a point where his armour stayed warm but bearable. It wasn't particularly damaging but it had done it's job as the attack gave Wildfire to change weapons unsheathing a large warhammer that would have otherwise been to slow to draw in a quick paced fight. In most occasions the sight of a femme aerialbot changing from agile weapons to a heavy blunt weapon would have left an opponent underestimating them. On this occasion however Shadow-Strike had researched this particular femme and in other 'simulation's' had even fought the femme using this exact same style. So while another mech may have stalled in shock at the speed she swung her weapon resulting in either severe injury or death Shadow-Strike leaped backwards narrowly missing the swing.
Just as he jumped however his blades sheathed back into his gauntlets allowing his servo's to shift almost instantaneously into ranged weapons. In particular two high calibre pathblasters designed for alternate fire modes with an advanced recoil system for automatic fire in close range firefights, in otherwords scenario's such as this. Landing less than a second after the swing that tried to clobber Shadow-Strike into the ground both pathblasters where raised and primed then consequently let loose in a barrage of energy bolts. Exactly sixteen shots or the clip from either magazine firing at such speed that each bolt was almost indistinguishable as they headed towards the femme's chest before the final two shot's recoil resulted in them heading towards the femme's faceplating.

Wildfire engaged her battlemask, both servos gripped onto her hammer, the fire within was burning brightly. Although her form was agile, it was not frail. She was sturdy enough for battles like this and had faced many opponents. She kept the hammer close, using it to shield herself, she couldn't avoid taking a beating like this, as she neared Shadowstrike she felt something hit her, like a kick to the denta. The two rounds had ripped off her battlemask. She stopped in her tracks and looked at Shadowstrike.
A servo reached down, pulling out a weapon, a signature weapon her family had used. A single gauss bolter gun, shooting from the hip at Shadowstrike, should this hit. She could follow up with a swing from her hammer. Her body was aching, but she was able to fight through it. She had never had an opponent like this ever.

Spotting the movement of Wildfire drawing a weapon the mech was already beginning to move, his body pivoting on his left pede as he tried to twist away from the projectile that had just been launched from her weapon. With the snow impeding his vision however the mech wasn't able to correctly dodge the strike, and as a result the bolt glanced across his angled chest ripping a harsh groove through the armour before it exploded. The exploding round firing shrapnel into his chest as another sharp chunk embedded into his battlemask just above his jawline. It was the first piece of serious damage the mech had received but he wasn't going to take the attack without gaining some form of retaliation, a slightly pointless opinion considering he was already intending to kill the Autobot.
With her now using a ranged weapon such as a gauss bolter alongside a two handed hammer with only a single hand the mech felt confident in pushing the pressure back into a melee battle before she could react. Rushing forward at full speed Shadow-Strike only required two leaps before he was almost on top of the femme, his body rising into the air before he lashed out with a brutal knee aimed for her helm. While rushing he also returned to using his blades as they where redeployed, and if he succeeded with the knee he intended to follow it up with a synchronised attack on her servo's in an attempt to disarm the femme.

Wildfire had little time to react, the knee connected with her chin, she was beginning to fall backwards. her grip loosened on her gauss bolter, her hammer sliding out of her other servo. Then came the blades, she fell flat on her back, her wings spread out behind her. Her weapons strewn out beside her, her hammer to her left. Her bolter to the right.
She fumbles for her hammer, looking to her right instead to reach for her Gauss Bolter, trying to grab its grip. a few digits getting a hold. She slid a digit round the trigger, swinging her arm back and upwards. Pointing the barrel at Shadowstrike, launching another blast. Energon leaked from her servo, her jaw. She spat out some energon and swiped it away with her free servo. Sitting upright and staring at Shadowstrike.

Connecting with the knee Shadow-Strike landed swiftly, with his blades lashing out instantaneously after the strike. The merciless attack creating a flood of energon from his opponent as spurted the vital life fluid flew from her servos and jaw covering his face and chest as a result. While the once jet black armour was stained with a luminous purple the ground was similarly covered, the once pure white snow now turning a dark purple as the fighting intensified only the continuing snow fall prevented the scene from being described as an out right bloodbath.
A bloodbath that at current Shadow-Strike appeared to be winning as he stalked his downed opponent who was currently regaining her heading, the confusion obvious on her face as she searched for her discarded weapons. Taking control of the advantage his pede's pushed deep into the soiled snow before pushing off in a hurried run, both blades burning brightly with thermo-energon as they trailed aside his arms with the snow underneath melting from the heat. His knee strike had placed a little more distance than he had intended as Wildfire was able to find her gauss blaster.
Aware he wouldn't reach her before the first shot was fired Shadow-Strike suddenly raised both blades in a cross formation to cover his chest. The lack of preparation for the shot combined with the weapon guard resulted in the bolt connecting with the blades on the right side of the mech's frame rather than dead centre, due to the design of the bolt however despite connecting with the weapons it still was capable of damage as it was followed by an explosion. Sending shrapnel everywhere it could reach, with the blades in position the shards pushing up, left and down connected with the crossed blades reducing the shrapnel to insignificant pellets. In contrast the pieces pushing outwards connected with the mech's right shoulder and arm, cutting into the first layer as energon leaked out before containment systems cut down on the use of the damaged energon lines.
In addition with the sustained damage the force of the explosion sent the mech offtarget, causing him to roll away from his potential follow up strike rather than being at the disadvantage of being misbalanced. Coming out of the roll on one knee the battle came to a halt as the two combatant's stared at each other. A combination of the falling snow, functioning parts and a gentle hum being all that made a sound in the deserted clearing.

Wildfire scurried onto her feet, leaving a blue servo print in the snow. She gathered the strength to stand, picking up her Hammer once more. Still looking back at Shadowstrike.
Do I fight, do I flee...
She put her gun away, gripping her hammer with both servos, she began to stand up, weighing up the odds. the hammer retracted, she began to place it back into place on her back.
The femme began to turn, beginning to walk away from Shadowstrike, her bow was close at hand. She didn't intend on fighting any longer. This predator would not have made good prey.

Rising up onto his pede's Shadow-Strike used his servo's for support when he pushed off his knee for support. His injuries where largely minor and currently superficial to his combat efficiency from what he could tell. The largest of his damage had been across his upper right side around his chest and shoulder. It might result in less force being supplied if he was forced into a grapple or blade mesh but the joints where still functioning fine for sabre strikes. With that in mind the mech began to pace forward with his blades at the ready.
Every step he made was silent as the snow was repelled from clutching with the material of his pede's ensuring he made no noise except for the hiss of his blades connecting with the falling snow along with the drip of energon that had failed to dry into his armour landing across the ground. With the femme turning away from him Shadow-Strike felt insulted by the casual dismissal on the field of battle. As such he was already reacting to her sign of disrespect as he activated an internal groundbridge jammer, applying almost half an hour's worth of junk coding that would be required to shift through before a groundbridge could successfully reach the area.
Now with groundbridges temporarily disabled in the nearby proximity, Shadow-Strike raised his left arm so the tip of his outer gauntlet lined up with the femme's left ankle. Ensuring the shot was lined up Shadow-Strike activated the fibre-corp wire launcher within the gauntlet, launching the wire as it fired straight towards the femme's ankle with the speed of a bullet. The tip of the wire was itself an open circle design much like handcuffs, upon connecting with it's target the circle would clamp shut, to prevent breaking or cutting through the ankle rather than just catching it the inner frame was surrounded by cushioned shock absorbers.
If the wire successfully caught the femme Shadow would instantly yank the gauntlet in an attempt to pull Wildfire to the ground.

Wildfire was pulled down to the ground, crying out in shock. Immediately she twisted round and dug her pedes into the ground, she sat upright and prepared her bow. She wasn't going to let him take her down this easily. Her arrow was tipped with an electronic pulse arrowhead, a small capsule device which if attached to an electronic device can cause blackouts, when attached to another transformer, it could cause a temporary paralysis or loss of motor control.
She had him in his sights and pulled back on her bow, launching the arrow at the mech. Should the arrow hit, she would begin to pull back hard on the cord.

Raising his arm attached to the fibre-corp up high across his head the wire went thick with tension. The large cable becoming an extremely thin shield as Shadow-Strike's momentum and combat systems work in perfect synchronisation to project the incoming arrow which headed straight for the centre of the chest. Instead of connecting with his chest however the arrow came in contact with the cable, ripping deep through till it's tip stuck out the other end while the shaft was caught by the cable. The contact between the arrowhead and fibre-corp in turn setting off the electrical burst that fired through the wire heading in both directions of the conductive material.
The current ran almost instantaneously to his gauntlet where it connected with heavily padded insulator that blocked the energy current from progressing into his own system. On the other hand however the current flowing towards the downed femme had no such insulator as it headed straight for her like a vicious viper ready to inject it's paralysing venom.

Wildfire screamed loudly as the electricity surged through her legs, flowing through, up her back. She was trying desperately to move, but her whole body was seizing up, it felt like her whole body was burning. Her whole body felt numb, soon she lay there unconscious.

Perhaps Shadowstrike would have liked to capture Wildfire right there, or kill her, but a portal interrupted the fun.
Whirl, one of the most notorious Wreckers ever, wandered through the portal. He realised he was standing over Wildfire, and tilted his head at Shadowstrike, drawing the Shoomer.
"Looks like I got here just in time for the fun part, huh?" he asked the 'con, rotors arching as he sank into a battle-ready position.

When finding himself surrounded in a new scenario the common procedure for Shadow-Strike was to access the current situation. As such he found himself acknowledging that he currently was facing two Autobot's, with one currently unconscious, although as he hadn't been allowed to give the femme Wildfire a check-up he couldn't currently predetermine how long that advantage would last. It was in that sense an unknown variable he simply discarded by acknowledging the worse case scenario but hoping for the best. Instead he decided to take advantage of having two targets right now as his right servo flipped, revealing his pathblaster. All the while his internal groundbridge jammer activated, preventing anyone groundbridging in or out in a five mile radius in all directions.
Shadow-Strike after all didn't really see the point of letting them escape, especially if the mech in front of him came here 'for the fun part'. Raising his right servo Shadow-Strike suddenly took aiming firing three shots at Whirl's chest plating in an attempt to test the mech's reactions. If he was lucky he might have even got a direct shot to head straight down the barrel of his enemies chest cannon. A fourth shot however was aimed at the mech's helm hoping the shots headed towards centre mass would make the Autobot complacent about where he was forced to dodge. Finally with his barrel still smoking form the rapid shots the mech added another two rapid fire shots that headed unexpectedly for Wildfire's chest plating. He'd heard rumours the femme had a weak spark, he was curious to test it.

Nothing scared Whirl. Nothing at all.
The shots seared his armour as he zigzagged wildly in his dodges. If he shielded Wildfire then he'd be hit and they'd both go down.
But even as he zigzagged, he threw it into circling Shadowstrike, spiralling in on him. He fired the Shoomer at close range even while the 'con wasted his shots on the unconscious femme. Then it didn't matter who Shadowstrike fired at, because Whirl swapped his hold on the Shoomer around, and wanged the grip end of it around the back of his helm to knock him right off balance.
"That's fer shootin' at somebody who can't shoot back!" he yelled, before swinging the Shoomer's grip at Shadowstrike's helm again, "And fer scrapin' your stinkin' paint on my favorite gun!"

Wildfire woke up to the searing pain of a pathblaster round impacting into her chest, she screamed in pain, her whole body heaving round, trying to drag herself up. Her whole body was aching, her spark wasn't as weak as perceived, not this universe's Wildfire.
The femme had guts, guts which would most likely spill if Shadowstrike got his claws on her.
